The Hunter

A vast island fortress under attack fills the top panel as warships approach; a voice cries "WARSHIPS ARE COMING TO ATTACK US—!!!" and "THE BOMBARDMENT WILL START—!!!" while another shouts "EVERYONE, RETREAT FROM THE ISLAND—!!!". Below, Nico Robin stands tense on stone steps as pursuers close in. A masked man yells "EVEN IF YOU HEAD BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM, ALL YOU'LL SEE ARE PIRATE CORPSES!! SO CUT IT OUT ALREADY!!!". Robin sweats heavily while voices call "WAIT, NICO ROBIN!!" and "HAA...". An elephant-like sword named Funkfreed swings with "PAOO!!!" as its master orders "DON'T HIT A VITAL SPOT, THOUGH!" and "SHOW HER, FUNK FREED!!" amid impact lines and Robin's strained expression.

Funkfreed the elephant sword lunges with trunk and tusks, striking Robin from behind while shouting "PAO OOOH!!!" and releasing "IVORY DART" projectiles. Robin is hit and sent flying amid motion lines and "!!!". The beast crashes down with "ACK!!!" as debris flies. In close-up the blonde man with a headband sweats and roars "NOW LET US GO THROUGH TOGETHER.....!!! THE DOORS OF DREAMS!!!" while taunting "WAH HA HA....!!! YOU THINK YOU CAN GET AWAY...I STUPID WOMAN... DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME...!!!".

A massive "BUDDH" impact shakes the scene near the fortress as waves crash with "SPLASH" and "HAA" sounds. A small round creature and a large crab-like figure react with worry: "... I HOPE HE'S NOT DEAD..." and "IT SURPRISES ME THAT HIS NAKAMA DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE HIM." The blonde headband man, now back to normal form, stands panting and declares "... HE'S BACK TO NORMAL....!!!" while addressing Robin: "SO FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR NAKAMA, WHO PROTECTED YOU EVEN THOUGH YOU WERE ON A RAMPAGE IN THAT FORM, I'LL FORGIVE YOU FOR ATTACKING ME..." and "HE DID DEFEAT ONE OF THE 'CP9'...". Robin looks shocked as voices debate "WELL, EITHER WAY," "I WANT TO ~!!!" and "DON'T YOU WANT TO SAVE NICO ROBIN!I".

Franky dashes ahead in his Hawaiian shirt, shouting "BRATS!!!" as a small rabbit-like figure yells "NYAA NYAAH!!" and "HEEEY FRANKY—!!". In the next panel a voice worries, "...BUT... WAIT, EVEN IF WE WANT TO HURRY, HOW DO WE GET TO THE 'GATES OF JUSTICE'...I" while another answers "WE SHOULD HURRY." Franky turns and declares, "TELL ME, QUICK!!! AND I'LL DIRECT KOKORO HAG AND YOU GUYS! MOVE THERE!!" The pigtail girl points excitedly, "WE'RE HERE TO GUIDE YOU!!" and "EH HEE HEE, WE KNOW—!!" while the rabbit adds "NYAA NYAAH!!!". She continues, "WHAT!I YOU KNOW HOW TO GET TO THE GATES OF JUSTICE!I" Franky replies, "EITHER ONE OF THEM MIGHT BE ABLE TO OPEN ROBIN'S HANDCUFFS!!" and hands over a Den Den Mushi, saying, "IF YOU MANAGE TO OPEN THE CUFFS, PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH THE BABY DEN DEN-MUSHI THAT THE SECRETARY HAD!!" The pigtail girl takes it and answers, "AND HURRY TO ROBIN!! YOU, CARRY THESE NUMBER 3 AND NUMBER 4 KEYS..." A close-up shows Nami's determined face as she states, "THEN IT'S DECIDED THAT WE HAVE TO STOP CHOPPER THAT WAY, AND..."

Franky growls, "WE CAN'T USE THE BRIDGE BETWEEN THIS TOWER AND ENIES LOBBY MAIN ISLAND TO GO BACK, EITHER!" while a scarred man adds, "AND I RESCUED NICO ROBIN SUCCESSFULLY." The scarred man continues, "ROGER THAT, BUT WHAT WILL YOU DO AFTER THAT!I EVEN IF WE'VE GONE THAT FAR..." as Nami grips a key and says, "LEAVE THE RELEASES OF ZORO AND 'HANA-KING' TO ME!" She looks back, noting the landscape: "BEHIND US IS THE 'SEA OF DEATH,' UP AHEAD IS THE 'ROAD OF MYSTERY.'" The scarred man shouts, "SO ASKING WHAT WE SHOULD DO IS USELESS!" and "THEN..." while another voice warns, "WE DON'T HAVE TIME TO GO BACK WHERE WE CAME FROM!!" Nami replies, "I KNOW... BUT NOW THAT 'BUSTER CALL' HAS BEEN TRIGGERED," and asks, "WHICH ONE WOULD YOU CHOOSEI" The scarred man decides, "LEAVE EVERYTHING ELSE... TO FATE!!I" as the group races across a bridge toward the distant tower. He yells, "EVERYONE SHOULD JUST GO STRAIGHT AHEAD TO THE 'GATES OF JUSTICE'!!!" and "THEN, ONCE WE'RE DONE WITH WHATEVER WE HAVE TO DO IN THIS TOWER," while Franky finishes, "UP AHEAD, OF COURSE, BUT..."

Franky waves and shouts, "OKAY!! GOOD LUCK, FRANKY!!" as the suited man with top hat answers, "OKAY." The suited man adds, "SO JUST BRING THAT DEER WITH YOU LATER!!" while Franky declares, "EITHER WAY!! I HAVE TO DELIVER THE KEYS TO NICO ROBIN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE." The rabbit cries "NYAA NYAA" in the background. Suddenly a massive impact erupts with the huge sound effect "ズドン!!!" A tall figure in a top hat looms over the group on a cloud-like surface, declaring, "TOO MUCH TIME..." as the suited man and others look up. The scarred man with swords and Nami stand ready while the giant figure growls, "WE'VE WASTED..."

Nami yells furiously, "BOTH OF YOU ARE BIG IDIOTS!!! JUST HURRY AND GET THE KEYS!!!" while the scarred man and top-hatted figure argue, "'CAUSE HE'S BEING AN IDIOT." and "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS ARE FOOLING AROUND DURING THIS SERIOUS TIME!! FOR REAL!!!" The top-hatted man aims a weapon as the scarred man points back. In a rapid sequence the top-hatted man's eyes widen in shock with "GYA AAH!!!" and "!!I" as a spinning attack labeled "RAN-KYAKU" strikes. The scarred man lunges forward with his sword, the impact creating massive motion lines and the sound effects "ドン!!" and "ガキィ!!!" while the note states "* SEN MEANS LINE" and another voice cries "SEN!!" The blade clashes violently as debris flies.

A fierce close-up shows a spiky-haired swordsman glaring with intense focus. "...WON'T BE YOUR WEAKNESS...." a voice declares. In the next panel a giraffe-headed fighter lunges forward, "I HOPE YOUR LONG NECK..." The swordsman counters sharply, "YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT!!!" The giraffe-man's neck stretches and whips around with tremendous force, blades flashing as impact lines explode across the page. "SAME GOES FOR THE BULLET," the swordsman growls while clinging to the twisting neck. The giraffe-man retorts with a confident smirk, "I HAVE THE MUSCLES NECESSARY... TO CONTROL MY NECK AT WILL!!" SFX of twisting flesh and clashing steel fill the spread: たたん!! ズン グォ グォ!! CLING!!

The giraffe-man's nose-gun fires point-blank in a massive explosion of force. "BIGAN*!!!" the blast erupts as the swordsman is hurled backward through shattering debris. *BIGAN MEANS NOSE GUN. The impact sends the giraffe tumbling, "...WHAT'S THIS SHOCK WE GET AROUND HIM!I" Nearby allies react in shock: "WHOA!!!" and "WAH!!" as the swordsman skids across the ground, blades scattering. Massive onomatopoeia ドギャオ!!! and ドン!!! shake the panels while dust and impact lines fill the air.

The giraffe-man smashes into a massive boulder, shattering it with a thunderous "KRACKRA...!!" The swordsman presses the attack, "TAKE THIS!!!" while the giraffe recovers mid-air. "KAKU'S CONTROLLING HIS ABILITY PRETTY WELL," an observer notes. "INTERESTING," another replies. The giraffe-man yells, "WHO THE HECK IS SOGEPP!I AND... DON'T MAKE UNNECESSARY COMPARISONS!!!" A woman with long hair shouts, "THAT NOSE IS BETTER THAN SOGEPP'S!!! IT MADE A SQUARE HOLE IN THE ROCK!!!" while a small creature reacts with "!!" amid flying debris and motion lines.

A wolf-masked fighter lunges forward with a massive blade, "W-WOLF!! I... I AM YOUR OPPONENT!!!" The masked man growls, "HRMI" while a woman warns, "...DON'T GET TOO WORKED UP." The wolf-man retorts, "YOU WANT TO RESCUE YOUR NAKAMA, RIGHTI" A small key flies through the air with a sharp "チャリン...!!" The wolf-man's eyes widen in realization, "THAT'S RIGHT!! SO I'LL TAKE YOUR KEY!!!" In the next panels he snarls, "TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, I DON'T REALLY WANT TO... KILL ANYBODY... I HATE BLOOD..." while the woman pleads desperately, "PLEASE RESCUE... NICO ROBIN." The wolf-man answers, "EHI WH-WHAT... WHAT DO YOU MEAN...I" as the scene shifts to a distant view of the besieged tower.

A masked Foxy Pirate reaches for a key on the ground, declaring, "IN... THAT CASE, I'LL... TAKE THE KEY..." Nearby, another crew member reacts with a question mark. Usopp forces open a heavy mechanism with a loud "OPENS" and a burst of force. The sudden action triggers an explosion as a voice yells "NO!! USOPP, WATCH OUT!!!" A massive blast erupts with the technique name "JUS-SHIGAN"!!! and the note that Jussigan means 10 Shigan. Debris and shockwaves fill the air as the impact sends figures flying.

In the chaos, a wolf-like figure snarls, "I'M A 'WOLF'!!!" and threatens, "IF I CATCH YOU OFF-GUARD... I'LL EAT YOU ALIVE." Another pirate warns, "DON'T LET YOUR GUARD DOWN." The beast charges with a fierce "GRRRRR!!!" and a powerful strike marked by heavy SFX "ボッゴォン!!!" Usopp is sent flying backward, shouting "VUUOOH!!!" while yelling "USOPP!!!" A crew member laughs "GYA HAHA." amid the flying debris and smoke.

The battle rages with pained cries of "ARGH!!!" and "HAA..." as figures tumble through clouds of dust. Foxy taunts, "WHY DON'T YOU RUN AROUND LIKE YOU DID EARLIER!I YOU RUN PRETTY FAST!!!" while a masked ally panics, "WHAT AM I DOING...!I SH-SHIT...!!I" Usopp counters with a new attack, shouting "HIMAWARI-BOSHI"!!! as sunflower-shaped projectiles burst forth. The masked fighter deploys his "NEW WEAPON 'KABUTO' ULTIMATE!!!" amid rapid strikes marked "KYUIN!!" and "KUK...!!" Someone yells "CUT IT OUT.....!!!" and "I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT.....!!!"

Explosions rock the battlefield with massive SFX "バァァァン!!!" and "ボコォン!!!" as Usopp is hurled through the air. A voice wonders, "HUHI FIRE WORKSI" The wolf-masked fighter presses the assault while Usopp struggles, grunting "UGH!!!" amid crashing impacts labeled "ドスン!!!" and "ガン!!" A final cry of "USOPP!!" rings out as smoke and debris engulf the fighters.

In a rocky, misty landscape dotted with small buildings, a massive wolf-like humanoid lunges forward with a spiked ball on a chain. A voice declares, "I'LL KILL YOU IN AN INSTANT. DIE PEACEFULLY!" while another states, "AS I HAVE PROMISED..." The chain swings with a "KARAN" sound. Usopp stares in shock from the foreground. The wolf-man grins widely and taunts, "LOOK... IT'LL BE EATEN BY A FEARSOME 'WOLF'... GYAHAHAHA. BUT WHEN A 'LAMB' WANDERS AROUND ON HIS OWN, AND BEING PROTECTED, YOU WOULD HAVE STILL BEEN SAFE... IF YOU WERE STILL CONNECTED TO THAT 'SHEPHERD'..." A small figure is struck with a "HAA..." reaction. The wolf-man continues laughing, "GYAHahaha, DON'T KILL HIM!! PLEASE!!!" as the scene erupts into chaos with debris flying. Voices shout, "AFTER THIS, IT WILL BE YOUR TURN!!!" "NOW YOU DIE!!!" "WE WON'T TAKE YOUR KEY!!!" and "HEY, STOP IT!!! WOLF, BASTARD!!!" The wolf-man declares, "NOW, THIS IS THE END OF IT...!!!" while Usopp yells, "SHIT!!!" amid massive impact effects.
