THE RED OGRE CRIED

A close-up reveals a man in an ornate helmet with swirling patterns and a thick beard, his face drenched in sweat and contorted in a fierce grin as he shouts, "AFTER AN ENTIRE CENTURY...". The scene cuts to a smaller panel showing the same man from the front with the number "3" above his head, still yelling. Another panel focuses on a massive spiraling impact striking the ground. The helmeted man swings a massive weapon downward with tremendous force. A huge impact erupts as bold sound effects "ドン!!" and "!!!" explode across the page. The strike lands with crushing power, sending debris and motion lines flying. The man’s armored form and determined posture dominate the panel as the blow connects.

Black ink splatters fill the top of the page. Below, four shocked faces react in sequence: a blonde woman with a sweat drop, a long-nosed man with a turban gasping, a wide-eyed boy with a scar under his eye, and a close-up of a terrified eye. The final wide panel shows a tropical cliffside where a long-haired woman in a striped top and boots stands tall, while the long-nosed man and the boy lie on the ground behind her, looking up in surprise amid palm trees and clouds.

In the dense jungle, the massive armored giant warrior reels from a devastating blow. His body lurches violently backward as the impact sends him crashing down, helmet and armor clattering. SFX: ガクン...!! The giant's form collapses heavily onto the foliage-strewn ground, limbs splayed. Close panels show his helmeted head striking the earth, sweat and debris flying, followed by a massive full-body slam that shakes the terrain. SFX: ドォォ...!! The warrior lies defeated amid uprooted plants and scattered weapons, the force of the strike still echoing through the clearing.

Luffy stares in shock, sweat flying, as the fallen giant lies nearby. A voice declares, "IS THAT I AM NOT BLESSED BY HIS DIVINE PROTECTION....!" Another continues, "ALL IT MEANS, THIS IS MERELY THE JUDGMENT OF THE WARRIOR GOD, ELBAF....!" Luffy's eyes widen further. In the background, rapid impacts erupt: ゴン!! ゴン!! ゴン!! ドン!!! with cries of "NGH!" "NGH!" "LUFFY!I" and "LUFFY...!" Luffy throws his head back and roars with fury, "WHO WAS IT!I"

A powerful voice echoes through the jungle canopy: "SHOW YOURSELF!!!" Trees shake from the force. Deeper in the foliage, a bespectacled man in a striped shirt laughs uproariously, "FUHAHAHAHA! HOW ODD... I WONDER IF THERE'S SOME LOSER CRYING EVEN DEEP IN THIS THICK JUNGLEI" He smirks and adds, "PFT." Beside him stands a woman in a wide hat marked "GOLDEN," who asks, "DID YOU HEAR SOMETHING JUST NOWI MR. 3I"

The giant warrior Dorry lies on his back, bloodied and breathing heavily. He mutters in a daze, "73... THOU-SAND..." Smaller panels show his gritted, bloodied teeth and a tally: "467 FIGHTS..." with SFX ポク ポク. In a dramatic close-up, Dorry's face fills the frame, eyes wide and teeth clenched as he declares, "ONE WIN...!"

A massive black shape crashes to the ground with a heavy THUD and CLANG amid the jungle, sending up dust as small figures react with startled sounds. Two voices erupt in mocking laughter: FUHAHA-HAHA! and HAHA-HAHA! In the next panels the helmeted man spins around in shock, tears visible, shouting, "JUST WHAT WOULD YOU KNOW...!I" "YOU THINK THESE ARE TEARS OF JOY...!I" "WHO ARE YOU ANYWAYS!I" The striped-shirt man with glasses smirks and replies, "IT MUST BE NICE TO BE SUCH A SIMPLE DOLT THAT CRIES FROM BEING TOO HAPPY, MUSTN'T ITI" "WELL... I GUESS I SHOULD BE FIRST SAYING, 'GOOD WORK.'"

Mr. 3 stands with a confident pose, one hand raised, and declares, "I AM MR. 3... MY APOLOGIES FOR ONLY GIVING YOU MY CODE-NAME... I'M A SCULPTOR, YOU SEE." He gestures toward the small girl in a straw hat and apron standing on a barrel labeled "LDE," adding, "AND THIS HERE IS MY ASSISTANT MISS GOLDEN-WEEK, A REALIST PAINTER." The helmeted man's face fills a panel with a large question mark as Mr. 3 continues, "I MUST TELL YOU THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN ENTRAPPED BY ME...!" "FURTHERMORE," Suddenly wax erupts violently around the helmeted man; he yells "WHA! WHAT IS THIS...!I" as the white substance engulfs him and the striped man is sent flying amid impact lines and "!!I" effects.

Luffy, still half-covered in hardening wax, roars, "BUT I'LL GO AND TAKE CARE OF HIM NO MATTER WHAT!" while thinking, "I MAY NOT KNOW WHO WAS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE..." In the clearing Sanji tells Nami, "GOOD! PLEASE COME ALONG! IT'LL BE QUITE REASSURING!" Nami answers, "I'LL GO TOO!" as a tiny figure lies on the ground. Sanji adds, "THERE WON'T BE ANY NEED FOR THAT...!" A sudden splash of wax erupts; Nami gasps "!!!" Luffy's eyes widen in the helmet as he realizes, "SO IT WAS YOU!" and cries "AH!"

Wax explodes outward with massive sound effects "ドドド" and "ビシャアッ...!!" as Mr. 3 stands atop the giant wax structure, coat flapping, and shouts, "WE'LL RETURN THIS BACK TO YOU! HE WAS UTTERLY USELESS TO US..." The straw-hatted girl laughs "KYAHA-HAHA!" while the wax construct crashes down. In close-up Mr. 3 smiles, "INDEED, THAT BIRD IS THE LEAST OF OUR CONCERNS...!" Nearby voices exclaim, "HEY, WHO ARE THESE GUYS!I" "THEY'RE THE GUYS FROM THE PREVIOUS TOWN!" "CARUE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!" A sweat drop falls as someone asks, "HOW COULD YOU..."

Silhouetted figures stand on a rocky shore as agents discuss their plan. "WE TRIED TO GET THIS BIRD TO CALL HER OUT FOR THE PRINCESS BUT..." one says. Another declares, "THE ONLY ONE WE DEEM AS A THREAT IS YOU, THE STRAWHAT BOY. SO IN ORDER TO SEPARATE THE PRINCESS AWAY FROM YOU..." In the jungle, the agents surround Carue the duck. A woman laughs, "KYAHAHAHA! JUST LET OUT ONE LOUD CRY AND WE'LL LET YOU GO." The scarred man with sunglasses adds, "COME ON, THEN... JUST CALL FOR YOUR MASTER. HE PROVED TO BE EXTREMELY STUBBORN...!" Luffy charges forward yelling, "HURRY UP AND CALL HER THIS INSTANT!" The agents respond, "CALL THE PRINCESS!" and "FINE, I'LL JUST HAVE TO FORCE YOU THEN!" Carue sweats with a nervous "HMI" as impact sounds erupt around them.

The woman taunts, "KYAHA-HAHA! WHAT A STUPID BIRD." Carue lies on the ground, quacking weakly. The agents continue, "THIS BIRD'S OF NO USE TO US... BUT... NOW THAT THE STRAWHAT IS UNABLE TO MOVE, OPEN YOUR DAMN BILL, YOU STUPID BIRD!" A massive explosion rocks the area with "ばんっ". Luffy stands amid smoke asking, "HMI YEAH, THAT WAS US. BUT WHO ARE YOU ANYWAYSI" The blonde woman glares, "KYAHA-HAHAHA! WHY YOU... WAS IT YOU WHO PUT THE BOMB IN THAT BARREL OF RUM!I" An angry man shouts, "SO YOU'RE THE ONES WHO INTERFERED WITH THEIR DUEL...!" The scarred agent replies, "NO, BUT I'M SURE HE'S ONE OF THEIR CREWMATES. LET'S ELIMINATE HIM AS WELL. WAS HE ONE OF THE PEOPLE ON THE LISTI"

Miss Valentine lunges forward with "ばっ!!!" yelling, "THE ONES WHO'LL BE ELIMINATED ARE YOU YOURSELVES!" Luffy grits his teeth, "WHY YOU... I'LL KICK ALL OF YOUR ASSES!" She taunts, "KYAHAHAHA! JUST WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL STAND A CHANCE AGAINST US OFFICER AGENTSI" Mr. 3 smirks, "OHI SO YOU'D LIKE TO PLAY, MISS WEDNESDAY...I" She spins into an attack, "STRIKE-ON! TAKE THIS! PEACOCK SLASHER! CERTAIN KILL!" as her bladed heels slash through the air toward the distant figures below.

Mr. 3 stands unfazed as Mr. 5 fires "GUN-POWDER STAR!" creating a massive blast. An ally shouts "ALRIGHT!" while dodging the explosion. Below, Luffy reacts with shock, "NOSE... FANCY..." as debris flies. The woman laughs from afar, "KYAHA-HAHA! WHAT A NICE EXPLOSIVE BLAST THIS IS TO RIDE ON!" while the agents continue their assault amid smoke and impact effects.

A massive cannon blast erupts with a thunderous "CANNON!" as the projectile hurtles forward. Usopp flicks a small object midair, triggering an enormous swirling explosion that engulfs the area. Luffy reacts with a shocked "!!!!I". In the next sequence, Miss Valentine plummets from above and slams down with crushing force, declaring "10,000 KG PRESS!". Usopp is driven into the ground amid smoke and debris while Luffy stares in horror. From the side, Miss Valentine laughs triumphantly, "HOW PITIFUL! KYAH AHAHA!" as the impact crater forms.

The black-coated man with an S emblem stands amid swirling smoke and impact lines, telling the goggled woman "CALM DOWN...". She screams "AHHHH!" as she is hurled backward. The man then grabs her by the collar and states firmly, "WE WON'T BE KILLING YOU JUST YET...! WE'RE ONLY HERE TO CARRY YOU AWAY." Luffy watches with a giant question mark above his head, utterly confused. In the background the man points at the woman and declares, "ON MR. 3'S ORDERS, THAT IS..."

A close-up reveals the sunglassed man as "A CANDLE-MAN." Usopp and the woman react in shock: "MR. 3..!I THE MAN WITH THE 'DORU DORU DEVIL FRUIT'...!I" Mr. 3 stands beside a massive wax-covered structure marked "1000", wax dripping and smoking as he smirks. He asks, "HMI YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT I'M DOINGI" while Luffy and Usopp look on warily. Mr. 3 answers his own question with a calm smile: "TO MAKE ART, CAN'T YOU SEE. I'M OBVIOUSLY PREPARING."
