National Security

Action sequence begins with a close-up of a massive kick striking a helmeted figure, impact lines and debris flying as the victim is sent flying. Large onomatopoeia 'ドォォォ' and 'AAAAARRRR' emphasize the force. The next panel shows Luffy on the ground in pain, mouth open wide, shouting 'RRGGHHHHH!'. Two helmeted guards react in shock with wide eyes and open mouths, one yelling 'YOUR MAJESTY!'.

Sanji narrows his eyes at the distant figures and mutters, "HUHI THOSE GUYS AGAINI WHAT'RE THEY DOING HEREI" Chopper stares in shock with wide eyes and a lolling tongue while an unseen companion gasps, "WHAT IN THE WORLD...!I" Below, the Straw Hats tumble from a collapsing stone bridge in front of a towering castle as massive impact lines and debris erupt around them. "CLOSE CALL!" someone yells amid the chaos. In the next panel Luffy stands with his back to the reader, coat flaring, and growls at three distant figures, "YOU THREE SURE WERE A BIG PAIN IN MY ASS BACK THEN..." while the enemies clutch their heads and grunt, "UGH... GAHH..."

Luffy's face fills the frame, eyes sparkling with rage as he clenches a fist and declares, "But now I don't need to hold back anymore~!" while laughing "Shi Shi Shi Shi!" Wapol, carried on a massive throne by armored subordinates, looms before the castle and roars, "THAT'S RIGHT! DON'T YOU REALIZE YOU'RE IN THE PRESENCE OF ROYALTY!I THIS ISLAND AND THE LIVES OF ITS INHABITANTS ARE SUBJECT TO THE VERY WHIMS OF HIS REGAL SELF! HOW DARE YOU TREAT KING WAPOL OF DRUM WITH SUCH DISRESPECT AND BRUTALITY!I" Luffy snaps back with a scowl, "SO WHAT!I ALL I KNOW IS THAT YOU GUYS ANNOY THE HELL OUTTA ME. KINGI"

In the snowy forest Luffy points at the distant group and says, "WELL, I'M NOT GONNA TAKE THEIR CRAP ANYMORE! THEY EVEN TRIED TO EAT MY SHIP! NOTHING BUT PESTS, THE LOT OF'EM. OH I KNOW ALRIGHT. THEY'RE THE 'PESTY PIRATE POSSE.' YOU KNOW THOSE THREE, KIDI" Sanji replies from behind, "MORE IMPORTANTLY, AREN'T YOU COLD WITH JUST THAT ONI" Close-ups show the crew reacting in shock: "YOU JUST SAY 'KINGI!' I THOUGHT THEY WERE PIRATES!" "AH-" "JUST AS I THOUGHT." At the castle gate the group stares as Wapol's forces ignore them; someone mutters, "THEY'RE IGNORING US!" while the narration notes the freezing temperature and Wapol's claim to the Drum Castle throne.

Wapol's massive throne vehicle crashes through the castle gate with a thunderous "GOGOGOGOGO" and impact SFX "BASHUNK!!" as armored guards shout "YOUR MAJESTY!" Wapol laughs triumphantly, "MAHAHA... MAHA HAHA." Strawhat yells after him, "STRAWHAT...! YOU'VE TICKED ME OFF BIG TIME... I SWEAR I'LL DEVOUR EVERY LAST PIECE OF YOU NOW..." Outside in the snow Sanji and Chopper watch the entrance; Sanji wonders, "DID HE... STRETCH JUST NOW...I HMI IF YOU DON'T MIND ME ASKING..." while a voice inside cries, "HE'S NOT HERE!I" and another notes, "UHHH, MIGHT WANT TO SAVE THE TOUGH-TALK. HE'S GONE BACK INSIDE TO GET A JACKET."

Sanji gapes in disbelief, shouting "IT MEANS HE'S A MONSTER." A voice wonders "...WHAT'S THATI" while another notes "SURE DID... HE'S A RUBBER-HUMAN." At the castle entrance Wapol sneers at the scene, declaring "WHAT A PERFECT CHANCE THIS IS, TO REMOVE THE THORNS IN MY SIDE WITH ONE FELL SWOOP!" He continues, "DALTON'S CORPSE IS BELOW AND HERE WE HAVE THAT REBEL HAG, AS WELL AS THE STRAWHAT PIRATES. MAHAHA!" Kureha stands firm with Chopper and Sanji nearby. Wapol's subordinates bow and say "INDEED, YOUR MAJESTY. IT'LL MAKE FOR A PERFECT REBIRTH OF DRUM KINGDOM. ALLOW US TO QUICKLY DISPOSE OF THESE NUISANCES, YOUR MAJESTY." Kureha retorts "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU WERE THINKING, BUT YOU'VE SURE GOT SOME GUTS APPROPRIATING HIS MAJESTY'S CASTLE FOR YOUR OWN USE, DR. KUREHA!"

A long-haired man with goggles laughs "HEEE HEEEE!" and admits "PERSONALLY, I COULDN'T CARE LESS ABOUT THIS CRUMBLING PIECE OF HEAP YOU CALL A CASTLE...." He adds "BUT MY STUBBORN LIL' FRIEND HERE WAS INSISTENT ABOUT MAKING A PROPER GRAVE FOR HILILUK HERE, YOU SEE." Soldiers open fire, yelling "SHOOT IT!" "IT'S A MONSTER!" Wapol's aide confirms "YES, IT'S THE SAME MONSTER... THAT CAME HERE, FOLLOWING HILILUK BACK THEN!" "YOUR MAJESTY, THAT IS...!" Dalton, now in full bison form, roars "THAT'S WHY I WON'T LET YOU SET A SINGLE FOOT IN THIS CASTLE!" and states "DOC WANTED TO SAVE THIS COUNTRY." Large SFX "ゴォォォ" shake the air as he blocks the entrance.

Dalton charges forward, bellowing "KNOCK DOWN DOC'S 'CONVICTION!'" and "I WON'T LET THE LIKES OF YOU..." The Straw Hat Jolly Roger flag flutters as impact lines and debris fly. Wapol's men offer "I'LL LEND YOU A HAND IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE IT TOO, YOURSELVES." The long-haired man asks "SO, ARE YOU GONNA FIGHT TOO, GRANNYI" while Wapol cackles "MAHAHAHA... EXCELLENT! ALL THE PEOPLE I WANT TO KILL, RIGHT HERE IN ONE PLACE!" He orders "NO NEED FOR ANY MERCY, CHESS AND KUROMARIMO! SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!" Kureha and Sanji stand ready as the confrontation escalates.

Kuromarimo lunges with a massive spinning attack, shouting "ELECTRIC MARIMO!" and "HMPH! TURNING A HOLY CASTLE INTO A GRAVE FOR SOME QUACK DOCTOR!I" He threatens "I'LL START BY KILLING YOU FIRST, DR. KUREHA!" Kureha cries out "DOC-TRESS!" as the blow lands. The long-haired man is struck and sent flying amid debris and motion lines. Sanji watches tensely from the side while Wapol's forces press the assault on the castle grounds.

Sanji lies pinned on the snowy ground, glaring up as he mutters, "WHAT KINDA AFRO-BRO GOES AROUND THROWING HIS AFROS AT A LADYI" A voice off-panel replies, "NOW, NOW..." In quick cuts, a furious man with an afro beard growls "GOTCHA...!" while a reindeer-hatted figure exhales "WHEW." Nearby, a long-haired man with a lolling tongue chuckles "HEHEEE HEEHEE... NOW YOU'RE SHOWING A BIT MORE CLASS, KID." Static crackles around the scene as someone questions, "IS IT BECAUSE OF STATIC ELECTRICITY!I" and "EXACTLY!" The afro-covered figures multiply, one declaring "IT WON'T COME OFF! THE HELL'S UP WITH THIS AFRO!I" while another yells "ELECTRIC..." Sanji stands shirtless amid the chaos, laughing "MU HA HA HA!" as the afros swarm and a large "ブンブンブン!!" sound effect shakes the area. Someone shouts "W-WHA!I"

A massive impact sends a figure flying with "3 1 2" and "MARIMOOOOO!" as "AGHH!" rings out. In the next panels the reindeer-hatted fighter struggles, shouting "R-RIGHT!" and "C'MON, HURRY UP! THIS FEELS NASTY AND ITS TACKY AS HELL!" while gripping the writhing mass of afros. A voice calls "YO REINDEER! DON'T JUST STAND THERE! HELP ME GET THESE THINGS OFF!" The bear-hatted character reacts with "AH!" Below, a tree trunk frames the scene as an unseen speaker asks "WHAT ARE YOU KIDS DOING...I" The afros swarm again with "ぶるぶるぶるぶる!" and cries of "TAKE AT LEAST ONE FOR YOURSELF!" "DON'T GIVE IT BACK!" "AH, CRAP! IT'S STUCK ON ME NOW!" "I'M GIVING IT BACK!"

Inside a stone bedroom, a short-haired woman sits up in bed wondering "YEAH, IT'S FREEZING OUT THERE. WHERE'D MY JACKET GOI" as a small figure at the door mutters "SOMETHING WRONG OUTSIDEI" "JACKET, JACKET, JACKET..." and "WHOO BOY, IT'S COLD." The woman turns and asks "YEAH, YEAH, DON'T WORRY, JUST GO BACK TO BED." A childlike figure replies "OH... ARE YOU GOING TO BE ALRIGHTI" while another voice notes "OH, JUST A LITTLE FIGHT." The woman presses, "I MEANT IF SOMETHING WAS GOING ON OUTSIDEI" and receives "NO," in reply. In the lower panels a large man lies face-down groaning "JEEZ... I THOUGHT SOMETHING SERIOUS HAD HAPPENED." The woman, now wearing a hat, offers "YOU CAN WEAR MY JACKET." while the child asks "IS ITI" and another states "IT'S COOLER-LOOKING THAN YOURS."

An archer draws a bow, warning "THOSE MARIMO-AFROS MIGHT NOT BE IN THE BEST TASTE, BUT THEY SURE DO BURN EASILY." while muttering "HMPH, TALK ABOUT POOR TEAMWORK. LET ME TELL YOU BEFOREHAND..." In rapid succession a spinning kick lands with "CHECK-MATE!" and "HOT HOT HOT! GOTTA DOUSE IT IN SNOW!" as the afros ignite. A small decoy figure races away yelling "I'M THE DECOY!I" and "TIME FOR THE DECOY PLAN!" while a bearded man in a cap snarls "CRAP! HE'S GONNA BURN THE AFROS!" The archer is suddenly grabbed from behind; a voice bellows "WHAT!I" and "GET OUT OF THIS COUNTRY!" as the struggle intensifies amid motion lines and impact effects.

A massive mechanical jaw looms open as panicked voices shout. "YOUR MAJESTY!" cries one figure while another barks, "MOVE IT, CHESS!" Chess shoves desperately at the closing mechanism. Below, Luffy lies on his back with arms crossed behind his head, relaxed. "SURE, WHY NOTI" he answers. Kureha peers down a long staircase and calls out, "Luffy! Grab onto my legs from there!" Chopper reacts in alarm, "CHOPPER! CRAP!" as the old woman adds, "AHH, NICE AND TOASTY!" Luffy reaches upward, grabbing hold. "GOOD, NOW DON'T LET GO!" Kureha instructs. In the next instant Luffy is yanked violently downward through the air, the impact marked by a huge "ガし!!!" sound effect as someone yells, "LIKE THIS!I"

Luffy rockets upward in a powerful kick, the motion labeled "ARMEE DE L'AIR..." with heavy speed lines. Below, Chopper in heavy point form chews furiously, "パクパク!!!" while Luffy shouts "COOL!" and reacts with surprise, "OHI" A massive impact erupts as Luffy stretches and launches himself like a cannonball, the panel exploding with the giant onomatopoeia "ビエーン!!!" and the cry "RUBBER SHOT!" Chopper watches in awe, "WOOHOO!"

Chopper, now in a monstrous heavy form with horns and a wild grin, roars "NUGARGHHH!" while Luffy spins rapidly inside a narrow passage, yelling, "I'LL ADD IN SOME MORE FORCE BY SPINNING!" The giant bear-like warrior Chess is sent flying backward by a tremendous blow, the impact reading "ボフォオー!!!" and "BFFT!" as debris and smoke erupt around the scene.

Chopper plummets helplessly through the air, screaming "MOO000!" with tears flying as Luffy's stretched leg recoils. Far below, Sanji stands with his back turned, cigarette in hand, watching the distant figures fall. He murmurs "MOFUI" then quietly notes, "Mouuun..." In a close-up, Sanji smirks and says, "HEH, NOT BAD, NOT BAD..." while a small "キラ-----ン" sparkle glints near the castle in the background.

Luffy stands with his arm raised as a flying hippo passes overhead. Someone exclaims, "YEAH... WHOA, LOOK! THAT DUDE'S STILL ALIVE!" Another voice calls out, "HEY, LUFFY! THAT'S NAMI'S JACKET, ISN'T IT!I" Luffy replies, "YOU ARE PRETTY AMAZING... T-THANKS..." while tugging at the jacket. A narration box states, "THE HIPPO'S STILL FLYIN' THOUGH..." and Luffy adds, "WELL TAKE IT OFF RIGHT NOW!" Chopper watches nearby in his hat. In the next panel, a massive close-up shows Wapol's terrified face with sweat drops and the sound effect "!!!!!!". Below, outside a grand castle, a man with arrows on his back shouts, "PARDONI" while another figure with a crown and cloak declares, "I'LL KILL THEM..." A third man with a staff yells, "WE UNDERESTIMATED THOSE TWO, FORGIVE US!" and "ARE YOU ALRIGHT, YOUR MAJESTY!" Wapol then appears in extreme close-up, eyes intense, declaring, "IT'S TIME FOR ME TO SHOW THEM," and "MY 'BAKU BAKU FACTORY!'"
