FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS

Luffy stands up, his fists clenched and a furious expression on his face. A loud "DO-N!!" sound effect emphasizes his anger. He lets out a loud, continuous yell, "AAAA....". Down the slope, the Black Cat Pirates are sent flying and screaming "GYAAAAAAA..." in panic. Nami watches the scene unfold with a shocked and concerned look on her face. In the background, the pirate ship is visible as the screams of the crew echo.

Luffy stands at the bottom of the slope, surrounded by the defeated Black Cat Pirates. He yells up towards the cliff path, "COME OUT, YOU EVIL BUTLER!!!". He stands ready, his face set in determination. Suddenly, he notices something and looks up as a "SWOSH!" sound effect indicates rapid movement nearby, but Kuro himself is not yet shown on the page.

As soon as Kuro lands, he delivers a brutal, high-speed kick directly to Luffy's face and chest. Luffy is thrown backward by the impact, letting out an "UUH!!!". Kuro's foot touches back down on the ground as Luffy falls backward, crashing heavily onto the rocky surface with an "AHHHH!".

Kuro immediately follows up his attack, slashing downward with his deadly clawed gloves. A "SWISH!!" sound effect accompanies the strike, but Luffy manages to roll out of the way just in time. As Kuro's claws hit the ground, Luffy smiles confidently and says, "GOTCHA!". He quickly reaches out and grabs Kuro tightly by the arm and cloak, securing his hold on the swift assassin.

Kuro looks down at Luffy, who is still gripping his arm. Kuro uses his palm to adjust his glasses, his claws dangerously close to his face. "YOU BASTARD... YOU SHOULD'VE JUST QUIETLY LET ME CHOP YOU TO PIECES..!!" he says. A wide shot shows Kuro standing over Luffy on the rocky slope. Kuro gestures to his crew, "LOOK! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU, MY BELOVED CREW, IS HALF DEAD AND IN GREAT PAIN!". Blood drips from Kuro's claws with a "POTA POTA..." sound. Luffy looks up at him calmly and replies, "YUP. YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY?". In the background, the Black Cat Pirates are trembling on the ground, crying out, "IT HURTS!!!", "STOP IT!", and "DAMN IT...".

Luffy cracks his knuckles, a confident smile spreading across his face. "I SWEAR! I WILL NEVER... EVER BE A PIRATE LIKE YOU!" he declares. Kuro stands tall, his long claws fully extended by his sides. "BECAUSE... YOU WILL DIE HERE..." Kuro threatens. He adjusts his glasses again, adding, "OF COURSE, YOU CAN'T EVEN BE A PIRATE... OH, YOU WON'T...". Unfazed, Luffy charges directly at Kuro, challenging him, "TRY AND USE YOUR 'SILENT STEP' NOW". Kuro prepares his stance, replying, "LET'S SEE YOU TRY!".

In the forest, Kaya is on her knees, crying and screaming desperately. "PLEASE STOP IT!! I'LL WRITE THE WILL!! JUST STOP HURTING THE BOYS!!". Jango stands over the Usopp Pirates, his foot pressing down on one of them. One of the boys warns Kaya, "NO!! AFTER YOU WRITE THE WILL, HE'LL KILL YOU!!" Jango looks down at the kids and snaps, "IDIOT! DON'T TRY TO NEGOTIATE WITH ME!" while mentioning Captain Kuro's orders. One of the kids, Tamanegi, is crying and trembling, saying, "I HAVE TO...".

Jango violently kicks Piiman away, sending him flying with an "UWAAH!!!". Kaya screams "PIIMAN-KUN!!" as the boy crashes into the ground. Driven to desperation, Kaya holds a knife to her own throat. "SINCE YOU WON'T LISTEN... I WILL KILL MYSELF! AND YOU WON'T GET THE WILL!!" she threatens. Jango immediately panics, waving his hands frantically. "WAH!! WAIT!! DON'T MAKE A STUPID DECISION!! I JUST WANT THE WILL, IF I DON'T GET IT, I'LL BE IN A BIG TROUBLE! OKAY, I'LL LET THE KIDS GO! NOT LIKE THEY CAN ESCAPE ANYWAY!".

Kaya sits on a log, using a piece of wood as a desk to write the will. Jango stands behind her, instructing, "DON'T FORGET TO MARK IT WITH YOUR THUMBPRINT". Nearby, the Usopp Pirates are lying on the ground, whispering to each other. "IF WE PRETEND TO STAY UNCONSCIOUS, WILL WE LIVE?...?" one asks. "I THINK SO... KAYA-SAN HAVE SAVED US..." another replies. "DIDN'T THE CAPTAIN ALWAYS SAY THAT IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE GONNA LOSE, THEN YOU MUST FLEE?". Ninjin, sweating but determined, speaks up. "BUT CAPTAIN IS A LIAR!!! NOW, HE'S BRAVELY FIGHTING ALONE!!! HE WAS ALL COVERED IN BLOOD... AND STILL WANTED TO PROTECT US". The boys agree, "WE CAN'T LET KAYA-SAN DIE... WE ARE THE USOPP PIRATE GROUP".

Jango holds the finished will, reading it with satisfaction. "GOOD... THIS IS DEFINITELY YOUR WILL. 'I'M LEAVING ALL OF MY INHERITANCE TO MY BUTLER, CLAHADOR.' THAT EVEN SAVED ME TIME HYPNOTIZING YOU...". He then tosses the paper aside and draws his sharp chakram. "NOW, YOU HAVE TO DIE! THE WILL'S NO BETTER THAN A PIECE OF SCRAP PAPER". Kaya looks up in shock, "YOU PROMISED ME, YOU WON'T HURT THE BOYS!". Jango smiles with a creepy grin, "DON'T WORRY! I'M A MAN WHO KEEPS HIS WORDS". He raises his chakram, ready to strike, adding, "IF YOU'RE STILL ALIVE...".

Usopp is being carried through the forest by Zoro, his face stretched in a panicked yell, "THERE THEY ARE!!!!". He spots the scene and points, "OVER THERE!!!". Zoro is running at full speed with Usopp held against him rather than riding on his back. Usopp yells, "STOP! STOP! THERE! THERE! OW OW!! DON'T HIT ME THERE, I HAVE A WOUND!!". As they arrive, Usopp reacts with relief and alarm: "THANK GOD! SHE'S STILL ALIVE!!! BUT SHE'S IN DANGER! LET ME DOWN... YOU JUST WAIT THERE!".

Jango notices their arrival, looking shocked. "WHAT!! HE CAUGHT UP WITH ME!". Usopp, still being carried by Zoro, aims his slingshot at Jango. "DAMN HYPNOTIST, YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING NOW...!!!". Zoro assesses the situation, wondering, "CAN I DO IT AT THIS DISTANCE?". Realizing the threat, Jango quickly grabs Kaya by the neck, causing her to choke out an "UGH...!!". "I SHOULD FINISH YOU OFF QUICKLY!" Jango declares. Usopp pulls back the band of his slingshot, yelling "HUUAA!!". The Usopp Pirates rush in and grab Jango's legs while Zoro warns him, "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!".

A close-up shows Jango sweating profusely, his chakram raised. Suddenly, the Usopp Pirates jump out from the bushes and tackle Jango's legs. "YOU DAMN BRATS!!!" Jango yells as he loses his balance and drops Kaya, who falls with an "UWAAH". Jango swings his chakram down towards the kids, laughing maniacally, "HAHAHA! IT'S TOO LATE NOW, HARA-MAKI-KID!!!".

Zoro smirks and says, "OH YEAH?". In a flash, he draws his sword and slashes through a thick tree branch that was in the way. The branch falls away, and Zoro says, "GOOD!! THAT TREE BRANCH WAS BLOCKING THE WAY". Usopp looks surprised, exclaiming "WHAT?!". Kaya watches in relief, murmuring "USOPP-SAN...". The kids cheer, "CAPTAAAAIN!!!". With a clear line of sight, Usopp releases his slingshot, yelling, "EAT THIS, HYPNOTIST!!".

Back at the slope, Kuro is shocked by Luffy's words. "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!!" he demands, then snarls, "DAMN!! LET ME GO!!!" as Luffy keeps hold of him. Luffy replies, "NOW YOUR THREE YEAR PLAN WILL FAIL". The Black Cat Pirates watch in disbelief. "HE'S... HE'S GOT CAPTAIN KURO!" one says. Another realizes, "WAIT A MINUTE... IF HE WINS, THEN WE WON'T BE KILLED...!!". They start cheering for Luffy, "THAT'S GREAT, RUBBER MAN!!", "KILL CAPTAIN KURO...!!". Furious, Kuro yells "HEAH!" and violently kicks Luffy away, causing Luffy to grunt "GUH!".

Kuro turns his rage towards his own crew. "I DON'T NEED YOUR CHEERS! I'M GONNA BEAT YOU ALL UP TOO, SO BE READY!". The crew recoils in terror, screaming "GYAAAA-AAAHH!!!". Kuro looks back at Luffy, muttering, "HOW CAN IT BE... MY PLAN...". Luffy stands ready, stretching both his arms far back behind him, preparing an attack. "GOMU GOMU..." Luffy chants. Kuro's face contorts into a mask of pure fury and desperation as he screams, "MY PLAN... CANNOT FAIL!!".

In the forest, Jango looks up in sheer terror as Usopp's projectile flies straight at him. Usopp's voice rings out, "SPECIAL TECHNIQUE 'KAYAKU-BOSHI'!! (GUNPOWDER STAR)". The projectile strikes Jango directly in the face, resulting in a massive, fiery explosion. A loud "KABOOM!!" echoes through the trees as Jango is engulfed in the blast, screaming in agony, "BUUAA-AAAAHH!!!!".

Luffy's stretched arms snap forward with incredible speed. He yells "BELL" as he launches himself at Kuro. Kuro looks on in absolute terror just before Luffy's head slams squarely into his face. The impact is devastating; blood violently spurts from Kuro's mouth, and his eyes roll back into his head as the sheer force of the headbutt connects.
