Finale

In the ruined city of Shandora, the giant beanstalk towers over the ancient, crumbling pyramids and buildings. A large crowd of Skypieans and Shandia are gathered among the rubble. Someone in the crowd asks, "What...!? They ran off from the island?" Another replies, "Yes... They didn't even accept our token of appreciation..." Gan Fall, looking thoughtful with his eyes closed, says, "Yes, they certainly left without a care for our feelings..." He stands with his bird Pierre, Wyper, and other warriors. Voices from the crowd wonder, "Did they realize even a fraction of the gratitude we felt for them...?" and "How can this be..."

Aisa and Raki sit together on some stone ruins. Aisa says, "That their saviours ran out on them... Everyone's in a big fuss," Raki replies, "How unfair of you, Aisa... Fufufu!" Raki smiles and says, "I can't believe you alone said a proper good-bye to them." Aisa, looking determined, declares, "I want to become like him too! And have my body stretch reeeeeaaaaally long!" She adds, "Well, Luffy and the others told me not to tell anyone else. I never knew there was such a strong warrior down in the blue seas!" Raki begins to cut Aisa's hair with scissors. Raki looks down softly and says, "Yes, because... Kids like you, No longer need to bear arms..." Aisa looks confused and asks, "...Huh?" Raki tells her, "You're a girl, so you gotta look pretty! You should grow out your hair. I'm sure it'll suit you. Aisa... Let's only trim your hair a bit today." Aisa asks, "Pretty? Who, me?"

Aisa smiles widely, laughing "Hee hee!" Raki smiles back, saying, "You're so ladylike today, Raki." Aisa tells her, "Hey, stop moving, Aisa..." The scene shifts to a view of the white sea and clouds, then pans down to the rocky ground of the ruins. Wyper, Kamakiri, Braham, and Genbo stand before the towering statue of the great warrior Kalgara. Wyper looks up at the statue and says, "It seems that the duty of Shandia... Has been fulfilled at last. Great warrior Kalgara..."

A close-up of the Kalgara statue's face is shown. Wyper says, "There is no longer any need for future generations to shed blood..." Wyper, smoking a cigarette, continues, "Your wish, too, Has likely reached your dear friend..." A wide shot shows the Shandia warriors standing before the statue in the ruined city. Wyper says, "That's why we swear... The war is over... But we will not lose our pride!" Wyper sits cross-legged on the ground, his body heavily bandaged, with his arm in a sling. Kamakiri, Braham, and Genbo stand behind him. Wyper declares, "Ever again. Extinguish, To never let the flame of Shandora,"

The view shows the ruined Shandora pyramid. Voices declare, "A free mercenary!" "I am a knight of the sky!" Wyper says, "That Vearth cannot be owned by any single person. We are merely a warrior tribe, unsuited for the matters of governing a country..." Kamakiri adds, "That alone doesn't make for a legitimate reason. I think the war has taught each and every one of us," Gan Fall, looking serious, responds, "What're you saying now, after all that's happened... This city originally belonged to your people, after all. I leave it in your care, chief." A wide shot shows the Shandia warriors and the Skypieans facing each other across the ruins. Voices proclaim, "IS A PILLAR. THE NAME OF THIS COUNTRY IS SKYPIEA AND THE NAME OF THIS CITY IS SHANDORA. 'GOD'..."

Gan Fall stands with his bird Pierre, facing the crowd. A voice says, "Is a man who continued to wrack his brain on the war. That man is you alone. The pillar that can unite these two separate realms," Gan Fall looks surprised as the voice continues, "So please return to the seat of God once more...! And support this deeply wounded country." Wyper smiles and says, "As the knight of the sky, you alone occupy a neutral middle-ground." Gan Fall looks overwhelmed, sweating slightly, and thinks, "Just when I thought I could return to tending my pumpkin garden..." The Skypieans cheer enthusiastically, raising their arms and shouting, "GAN FALL!" "YEAH!" "IF IT'S YOU, WE'LL BE SATISFIED TOO!" The Shandia also cheer, yelling, "PLEASE RETURN TO US!" "GOD!" The crowd is united in their support, shouting, "PLEASE, GAN FALL!" "You have all of our support!"

The Going Merry sails across the white sea, with a caption noting "Skypiea's lower floor, 'White seas'". The Straw Hat crew is on deck, celebrating around a giant sack overflowing with gold. They chant, "GOLD! GOLD! GOLD! GOLD MAKES US... BADA BABA BAM!" Chopper says, "Ooh! Ooh! I want some books! I want to read medical books of other countries!" Zoro wants "More booze." Nami swoons, "Nami! I'd love a lock for the fridge! <3" Usopp argues, "Don't be stupid! We gotta use this to increase our firepower! Let's buy 10 cannons!" Luffy suggests, "How about a HUUUUUUGEEE statue!?" They all yell, "SUPER RICH! WHAT'LL WE BUY!?" and "It'll be so cool!" Usopp looks through binoculars and shouts, "I CAN SEE IT NOW. EVERYONE! PLEASE LOOK TOWARDS THE FRONT!" Nami yells angrily at the crew, "I can't have you guys just going out and buying every little thing you want. We'll split the treasure after we get down from here! Hold your horses!" Chopper pleads, "Books pweaase-"

The Going Merry approaches a large, ornate gate structure sitting on the clouds. Someone shouts, "OHHHH! SO WE CAN GET DOWN FROM HERE!?" "IT'S CLOUD END!" The crew looks towards the gate. Sanji says, "Guess it's time to say good bye to these white seas." Usopp adds, "Sky island sure was fun... But also scary." Sanji agrees, "It certainly is hard to say good bye..." Zoro asks, "Now that we're about to leave, So we're gonna go down...?" Luffy sighs. The Merry sails towards the dark tunnel of Cloud End. Voices say, "It'd certainly be hard... I wonder if we'll ever be able to come up again...? Is a milky road that'll take us all the way down to the blue seas, huh... So beyond that door,"

Luffy waves enthusiastically from the Merry, shouting, "CONIS! OLD MAN! WHITE FLUFFBALL! TAKE CARE!" Conis, Pagaya, and the cloud fox Su wave back from a small cloud boat. They call out, "Thanks for everything, you two!" "Stay safe, Conis!" "Thanks for seeing us off!" "Please take care!" "It looks like we can only accompany you up to here, everyone!" On the Merry, the crew springs into action. Zoro says, "Right! Put all the gold inside the rooms!" Sanji yells, "Well, it is probably a slope taking us down 7000m! Hurry, guys!" Usopp adds, "Looks like we're about to speed up! Guys, let's do as he says!" Nami commands, "Please raise your sails and hang on tight to your ship!" Back on the cloud boat, Conis and Pagaya look up in surprise, saying "Hm?" and "Jooee!" The Southbird squawks loudly, "JOOEEE!"

Nami and Chopper react in shock to the Southbird's cry. Nami says, "Oh right... It's the Southbird that we brought along up here." The bird cries, "Jooee! Jooee! Jooee!" Chopper translates, "It said, 'Don't forget me!'" Suddenly, the Merry drops sharply. Usopp screams, "W-WHAT!? AGHH!" Robin, Zoro, and Sanji brace themselves. Robin asks, "READY!?" Zoro replies, "ALRIGHT, GUYS!" Luffy smiles widely and says, "Oh right! Once we get down from here, We can start new adventures!" Nami looks at the Log Pose on her wrist and says, "Alright then, captain... The log's set and pointing for our next island!" Conis yells from behind them, "PLEASE BE CAREFUL DURING THE FALL!" The crew cheers as the Merry goes over the edge, shouting, "AYE-AYE! DOWN TO THE BLUE SEAS WE GO!"

The Going Merry plunges off the edge of the cloud waterfall, falling straight down. A voice asks, "The fall?" Someone shouts, "LEAP!" The crew screams in terror as the ship plummets. Usopp and Chopper yell, "HESO!" The ship falls rapidly through the thick clouds, surrounded by the roaring sound of the wind.

Conis blows sharply into a whistle. She says, "OCTOPUS BALLOON! Sky Island's famous... HERE IT COMES! INHALE..." A small, spotted octopus suddenly appears near the falling ship and begins to inflate rapidly, sucking in air. The crew reacts in absolute shock and panic. Usopp screams, "AGH! UGH! SON OF A... AN OCTOPUS! AGHHH!"

The crew looks up in amazement. Usopp points and yells, "GUYS, LOOK! IT'S AMAZING!" Luffy looks confused, "AH! W-WHA..." The small octopus has inflated into a massive hot air balloon, its tentacles holding onto the Going Merry, slowing their descent. Voices cry out, "It's a balloon! WHAT IS THIS!? I... I THOUGHT FOR SURE I WAS A GONER... We slowed down... WHOA! THIS IS SOOOO COOL!"

The giant octopus balloon floats gently down through the clouds, carrying the Going Merry safely. The sound of a bell ringing echoes through the air. Close-up panels show the crew's reactions. Nami, Usopp, Chopper, and Sanji are all smiling and laughing in relief. Luffy grins widely, Zoro looks up with a slight smile, and Robin smiles softly. The ringing sound continues to resonate around them.

The octopus balloon continues its descent. Voices shout, "WE HAVE TO MAKE IT REACH OUR SAVIOURS! RING IT HARDER! HAVE A SAFE TRIP DOWN TO THE BLUE SEAS!" In Shandora, the Shandia and Skypieans are working together to ring the giant golden bell. Wyper yells as he pulls the rope. Aisa cheers joyfully, throwing her arms up. Voices call out, "COME AGAIN SOME TIME! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING! LUFFY! SEE YOU AGAIN!" The massive bell rings out loudly, sending its sound across the sky.

Gan Fall, Wyper, Aisa, and Raki stand together, looking up at the sky. Caption boxes read: "Was it a dream or reality? God's country above the clouds... The sky visible upon an upwards glance..." Wyper sits quietly by the Kalgara statue. Captions continue: "Upon concentration, the bell becomes audible. 10,000 meters above the sky." The giant snake Nola looks up at the sky, listening. Captions conclude: "And it will ring again tomorrow. It rings again today,"

On the deck of the Going Merry, Zoro relaxes with his hands behind his head. Nami and Sanji stand nearby, looking out. Caption boxes read: "Wandering over lands, Ringing across skies," The giant octopus balloon floats peacefully down through the clouds. Voices say, "Ahhh... This feels so pleasant. Haha! This is nice." A caption box reads: "Proudly," The balloon continues to float down, accompanied by flying birds. The final caption box reads: "Does it sing."
