Inside the wrecked royal palace on Fish-Man Island, chains and rubble litter the floor. A tall figure in a feathered hat and long coat gestures angrily while shouting, 'WHAT KIND OF EXCUSE IS THATI! "SO I STOPPED BY FISHMAN ISLAND AND JUST HAPPENED TO CONQUER THE ROYAL PALACE"I! WHAT KIND OF MONSTER PIRATE ARE YOU!!!' Another voice retorts, 'YOU THINK I SHOULD'VE JUST LET 'EM BEAT USI!' A woman in a spotted outfit yells, 'I TOLD YOU A MILLION TIMES WE SHOULD JUST RUN!!!' Someone else adds, 'HOW DO WE RUN FROM A PLACE LIKE THISI! AND BESIDES, LUFFY'S NOT HERE!!' A voice replies, 'THAT'S A GOOD POINT!! WHERE HAS HE GOT TO, ANYWAYI!' 'WHO KNOWS...' A massive figure on the ground groans, 'OWWW-WWWW...' while another cries, 'AAAAHHH HHHH...' The central figure in the coat snaps, 'WELL, THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT NOW, IS THEREI!!! SO QUIT YELLING!!!' On the right side, a dragon-like creature coils around a grand tower as a voice says, 'I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY...' A smaller panel shows the tower labeled with a '竜' symbol and the caption 'THIS WAS ONE STEP TOO FAR!!!' Nearby, a blond man shouts, 'YOU'RE THE ONES WHO STARTED THIS FIGHT, NOT ME!! Nami grabs a fish-man by the collar and demands, 'OHHH, STOP THAT!!! WHERE IS THE TREASURE STOREDI' The fish-man replies nervously, 'WE'RE IN A REAL HURRY! SO WILL YOU PLEASE JUST TELL ME WHERE-I' while another adds, 'THAT'S RIGHT! WE'VE GOTTA FIND LUFFY-' Brook plays his guitar wildly, shouting, 'IT'LL WORK OU UUU!!IT'LL WORK OUUUU!!AND EVEN IF IT DOESN'T, SOMEDAY YOU'LL DIE ANYWAY! YEAH!!!' and sings, 'FEAR NOT, MY FRIENDS!! WHEN THINGS LOOK TOUGH, YOU JUST GOTTA SING A SONG AND CHEER RIGHT UUU LUUUP! C'MON!!!' Someone yells at him, 'YOU CAN SHUT UP TOO, SOUL KING!!' and 'QUIT THE INNOCENT ACT, TOO!! The scene continues inside the damaged palace. A voice explains, 'UGH!!... IF WE HAD FILLED THE CASTLE WITH WATER, THEY WOULD STAND NO CHANCE AGAINST US...!!! YET INSTEAD, ALL THE WATER HAS BEEN REMOVED...!!!' High above the palace, two loud explosions echo as "ドドーン!" "ドドーン!" A voice wonders, "...HMI HOW VERY ODD... WHAT DO THE GUARDS THINK THEY'RE DOING...I" Below, chaos erupts inside the grand hall. A fish-man cries, "WHY, DEAR BROTHER...!!! SOME KIND OF INCIDENT SEEMS TO BE AFOOT-LA-TI-DO!" Another shouts, "SURE SOUNDS LIKE IT!!! ARE FATHER AND SHIRAHOSHI ALL RIGHTI!" Panicked guards and ministers yell, "OH, SHUT UP THERE!!!" "HELP US!!!" "PRINCE FUKA-BOSHI!!!" "AHHHHH!! DON'T YOU ANSWER ITT!!!" "HELLO. WHO'S THEREI" "PRINCE RYUU-BOSHI!" "PRINCE MAMBO-SHIII!!!" In the center, the long-haired Prince Fukaboshi stands tall and commands, "I REQUEST THAT THE CONNECTING WAY BE LOWERED......AND THE MAIN GATE AND PALACE GATES BE OPENED AT ONCE!!!" Zoro stands bound as a fish-man pleads, "COULD YOU AT LEAST TIE ME AND CAIMIE UP AS WELLI!! AT THIS RATE, WE'LL BE TREATED AS ACCOMPLICES!!!" Another cries, "GAHHH!! WHAT ARE YOU SAYING NOWI!!" "ZORO-CHIN, YOU'RE BEING SCARY!!!" "JUST TELL THEM THE TRUTH!!" Fukaboshi glares and states, "SORRY, BUT WE CAN'T DO THAT!!" while asking, "WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DOI" A crowd recognizes the swordsman: "IT'S 'ZORO'!!!" "ZORI!!!" "FUKABOSHI!! They warn, "IF YOU WANT THEM BACK ALIVE, YOU'D BETTER START PREPARING US A WAY OUT OF HERE!!" "YOU HEARD THAT, RIGHTI WE HAVE A LARGE NUMBER OF HOSTAGES, YOUR FATHER INCLUDED." A voice adds, "ZORO! DON'T FORGET ONE BILLION BELI!!!" while others shout, "QUIT IT ALREADY!!!" "OH!! OH MY, THAT WAS A GOOD ONE!! YOHOHO!!"

Fukaboshi addresses the group: "MAY I SAY ONE THING, ZORO-KUN...I" He continues, "...THERE IS NO OTHER WAY. EVEN WE CANNOT OVERCOME THIS OBSTACLE. THE CONNECTING WAY IS THE ONLY MEANS OF ENTERING OR LEAVING THE PALACE..." "ALL OTHER POSSIBLE POINTS OF ENTRY ARE SECURELY SEALED WITH MANY LAYERS OF BUBBLES. THE PALACE IS IMPENETRABLE." He agrees, "VERY WELL... WE WILL ARRANGE FOR YOU AND YOUR CREWMATES TO LEAVE THIS LAND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. IN RETURN, YOU HAD BETTER RETURN EVERY LAST HOSTAGE TO US UNHARMED!!!" The Straw Hats discuss Jinbe: "JIMBEI MAY BE A PIRATE, BUT HE COMMANDS A LOT OF RESPECT ON THIS ISLAND!!" "NOW YOU MENTION IT, HE DID SAY HE WAS FRIENDS WITH JIMBE...!!!" "BOSS JIMBEI..." At Coral Hill on Fish-Man Island, panicked citizens shout, "...HAVE TAKEN THE ROYAL PALACE!!!" "WHATI!!" "WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY AFTERI!!" "THEY'VE GONE AND DONE IT!! THE STRAW HAT PIRATES..." A sign reads "FISHMAN ISLAND, CORAL HILL". Locals gossip: "AND FROM WHAT I HEAR, TWO OF THE STRAW HAT CREW MEMBERS ARE HIDING BEHIND THE MERMAID CAFE' RIGHT NOW." "THE GUARDS HAVE JUST GONE IN TO CAPTURE THEM...!!!" "LOOKS LIKE THE FIENDS ARE FINALLY SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLOURS!!!" "AND NOW THEY'VE PULLED A STUNT LIKE THIS...!!!" A massive transformed creature bursts through the scene with wild force, sending debris flying as it roars. Someone yells, "OUTTA MY WAAAAY!!!" while another voice screams "GUAH HHH!!!" and "HIYAA AAAAAH HHH!!!" The creature spins violently amid impact lines and motion effects. In the next panels, Sanji, still bandaged and recovering, confronts the group. "SANJI!! YOU SHOULD'NT BE OUT OF BED!!" someone shouts. Sanji snaps back, "HEY, YOU GUYS..." Chopper, in a small form, asks, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN 'COME TO THE 'RYUUGUU PALACE'I! YOU CAME TO ARREST US, DIDN'T YOUI!" The creature questions, "IT TRANSFORMED!! WHAT IS THAT CREATUREI!" while another notes, "SANJI'S STILL RECUPERATING!! NONE OF YOU TOUCH HIM!!" Sanji presses forward, "YOU'RE GOINGI!" The creature replies, "I'M GOING." Sanji warns, "DON'T YOU EVER LEARN!! IF SHE'S CUTE, THE SIGHT COULD KILL YOU!!" The creature states, "DEAD OR ALIVE. I'M TALKING ABOUT... THE MERMAID PRINCESS... I... INDEED SHE IS!! WHAT OF ITI!" Others react with "!I" and "IS THAT WHERE SHE ISI THIS 'ROYAL PALACE' PLACE OF YOURS..."

Outside the damaged Royal Palace Shell Tower, Luffy and Shirahoshi stand amid floating debris. Voices call out, "WE'RE GOING!! OUTSIDE!!" and "C'MOON! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FORI!" Shirahoshi hesitates, "...BUT I SIMPLY CANNOT, LUFFY-SAMA!! IT WOULD BE TRULY UNTHINKABLE..." Luffy asks, "WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GOI" Shirahoshi answers, "...BUT... IF I WERE TO DO SUCH A SELFISH THING... IT WOULD BE A TERRIBLE BOTHER TO EVERYONE IN THE PALACE..." Luffy insists, "IT'S NOT GOOD SPENDING TEN WHOLE YEARS COOPED UP IN THIS PLACE! Luffy reacts with "HMI" while Shirahoshi sweats nervously with small sound effects around her.

Shirahoshi breaks down in tears, pleading, "P... PLEASE DO NOT GET ANGRY WITH MEEEE! I'M SCARED... I TOOK ALL OF MY COURAGE JUST TO..." Luffy tries to calm her, "MAN, YOU CAN BE A REAL PAIN..." Shirahoshi continues, "I... I AM SORRY... IT TOOK ALL OF MY COURAGE JUST TO... WHY DOES JUST SAYING WHERE YOU WANNA GO MAKE YOU START CRYINGI!!" She clutches her face as Luffy reacts with surprise. A loud crashing noise erupts with SFX "ドドドドドン!!" Luffy shouts, "WHAT'S THAT NOISEI!!" Shirahoshi cries, "AAHH!!" while Luffy yells, "IT'S REALLY LOUD...!!!" More impacts follow with "ズドドドン!!" and "ズドドン!!" Luffy asks, "IS THAT GUY THROWING STUFF AT YOU AGAINI!" Shirahoshi answers, "I DON'T THINK I LIKE HIM!!"

Explosions rock the Royal Palace Shell Tower with massive SFX "ドゴォン" and "ズドドドン!!" as debris flies. King Neptune shouts, "WHAT IS THIS NOISEI!!" and "...WHAT IS THISI!" Ministers react in panic. One yells, "YOU! PIRATES!! GO AND CHECK ON THE PRINCESS' SAFETY!!!" Another warns, "NO... ALL THE GUARDS HAVE BEEN CAPTURED!!...COULD IT BE... DECKEN'S SPEARSI!! THE SHELL TOWER!! SHIRAHOSHI IS IN DANGER...!! ARE THE GUARDS WITH HERI!" Neptune declares, "THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE UNDER THE CIRCUMSTANCES!! SHIRAHOSHI IS MY ONLY DAUGHTER!! AND FOR CERTAIN UNFORTUNATE REASONS, HER LIFE IS UNDER CONSTANT THREAT!!! IF ANYTHING WERE TO HAPPEN TO MY DAUGHTER BECAUSE OF YOU... I WOULD HUNT YOU DOWN TO THE ENDS OF THE OCEAN!!!" A guard questions, "WHY DO I HAVE TO TAKE ORDERS FROM MY OWN HOSTAGES...I" while Neptune commands, "SILENCE!!!" and "SHELL TOWER IS AT THE NORTHEASTERN EDGE OF THE PALACE!! YOU MUST HURRY!!!"

In a lavish room, Brook the skeleton lunges forward with wild gestures, shouting "AHHHHH...!!! I AM AT A LOSS FOR WORDS! THE FIEND HAS RUSHED OFF WITH THE MOST REPULSIVE OF OBJECTIVES IN MIND!!!" A fish-man minister cries "...WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR ME TO SEE HER PANTIESI!" while another skeleton-headed figure yells "HOLD IT, BROOO OOOK!!!" and "ALLOW ME TO BE OF SERVICE, YOUR MOST EMINENT MAJESTY!!! AND BY THE BY..." A voice demands "WOULD YOU HAPPEN TO MEAN THE MERMAID PRINCESSI!" The minister of the left declares "NOW THE PRINCESS IS IN EVEN MORE DANGER!!!" The shell tower is shown as responsibility falls to the ministers. One fish-man minister pleads "I DO NOT ASK THAT YOU UNTIE ME!! BUT PLEASE, AT LEAST TAKE ME WITH YOU!!!" while another shouts "I WOULD SOONER DIE A THOUSAND DEATHS!!!" Sanji appears in motion, yelling "SANJI-SAN, I FEAR I MAY BEAT YOU TO THE MARK! YOHO HOHOHO!" as Brook retorts "SUCH INSOLENCE!!" and "P-PREPO-STERROUS!!!" A large central panel shows Brook dramatically declaring "YOU LIKE HER, DON'T YOUI ♡" amid swirling smoke and motion lines.

Inside the tower room, Shirahoshi the mermaid princess sits on her bed and asks Luffy "...THAT IT IS FAR TOO DANGEROUS FOR ME TO LEAVE THE TOWER AND OF COURSE THE THOUGHT SCARES ME TERRIBLY..." and "FOR ALL THESE TEN LONG YEARS...!!! BUT EVERYONE ALWAYS WARNS ME..." She continues "I HAVE ALWAYS LONGED TO VISIT THE OCEAN FOREST..." Luffy replies simply "YEAH." Shirahoshi presses "...YOU TRULY PROMISE TO PROTECT MEI" Luffy answers "YEAH." In a close panel, Shirahoshi weeps "I... I AM SORRY... I WAS JUST SO HAPPY..." while Luffy sits nearby. Luffy teases "YOU REALLY ARE A BIG CRYBABY, HUHI AND A SCAREDY-CAT, TOO!!" Shirahoshi sobs "LWAAH HHHHH..." Luffy reassures her with a wide grin "YEAH. LEAVE IT TO ME. IT'LL BE FINE!" and "DON'T WORRY! I'VE GOT A REAAAAAAL GOOD IDEA!" laughing "SHISHISHI SHISHI!!!" Shirahoshi replies softly "...INDEED... I AM SORRY..."

Outside the tower, a massive impact shakes the structure as debris flies. A fish-man guard yells "...THIS IS... OUTRAGEOUS...!!!" and "IT WAS NOT THE USUAL KNIVES OR AXES FLYING AT THE TOWER AFTER ALL!!!" Another shouts "MERMAID PRINCESS!! ARE YOU ALL RIGHTI!" The skeleton replies "S-SKELETON!! TAKE A LOOK AT THE TOWER WALLS!!" A huge sound effect "ドンッ" erupts as someone cries "WHAT KIND OF MONSTER COULD DO THIS...I!I! VANDER DECKEN, YOU FIEND...!!!" and "THAT WAS THE SOUND OF HUMAN PIRATES CRASHING INTO THE TOWER WALLS!!!" Below, ministers panic "EHHHI! V... VANDER DECKENI!" and "THIS IS... SOME KIND OF AMBUSH...I! AN ATTACK...I! THE KING IS IN DANGER!!!" One minister realizes "HAS BEEN INVADED BY ENEMY FORCESI!!" while another notes "THIS IS NOT GOOD AT ALL... COULD IT BE THAT THIS IMPENETRABLE PALACE..." and "BUT WAIT... THEY ARE STARTING TO RECOVER...!!!"

Shirahoshi clutches her face in alarm as Luffy shouts "LET'S GO, SCAREDY-CAT!!" and "THOSE NASTY SOUNDS HAVE STOPPED NOW, HUHI" Shirahoshi cries "I AM COUNTING ON YOU, MEGALO!!" while Megalo the shark responds "Y... YES!!" A background voice warns "THE PRINCESS IS IN DAN-GEEEEER!!!" Megalo rockets forward with full speed, roaring "RMMMMM MMPHHO OHHHHH!!!" as Luffy yells "FULL SPEED AHEAD, SHA-AAAAARK!!!" The shark bursts through the tower walls toward the ocean forest, with Luffy riding atop. Shirahoshi calls out "TO THE OCEAN FOREST!!!" Below, a minister gasps "AHH...I!...LUFFY-SANI!" while another shouts "...I! MEGALO OOOOOOI!!" Motion lines and impact effects fill the escape sequence as the group flees the collapsing area.
