Commander Carue

The Going Merry sails on the ocean. A voice notes, "He can pose as any one of us at any time and threaten Vivi's life." Another adds, "So to summarize, that okama's a master of disguises." Below, Zoro unwraps the bandages on his left arm, revealing a black 'X' mark drawn on his skin. He explains to Vivi and the crew, "Have them show the mark concealed under these bandages. If they can't do that, then we'll know they're an impostor." Vivi watches closely as Zoro continues, "So if you ever doubt another crew member's real identity..." In the bottom panels, Usopp sighs in relief, "Whew, that's our Zoro." Luffy smiles, "Oh, it's Zoro alright." Suddenly, Zoro angrily yells at Sanji, "I'LL TURN YOU INTO MINCED MEAT, YOU LITTLE PUNK!" Sanji yells back, "DOES THAT MEAN THE OKAMA'S ALREADY POSING AS YOU...!?" Nami sighs, resting her head on her hand, "Huh, a 2-step identification system... That's almost too clever for someone like you to come up with..." Chopper is also present, watching the bickering.

In Alubarna, Carue the duck sprints desperately across the sandy terrain, carrying a heavily injured and exhausted Vivi on his back. Vivi cries out, "CARUE!" She leans forward, telling her loyal companion, "YOU DON'T NEED TO PUSH YOURSELF! YOU'RE ALREADY TOO INJURED TO RUN!" Carue pants heavily, sweat flying from his face as he pushes his limits. Behind them, Mr. 2 Bon Clay, dressed in his swan-themed ballet outfit, chases them with terrifying speed. He yells maniacally, "YOU WON'T ESCAPE FROM MEEEEEE!" Carue quacks in alarm as the okama closes the distance.

Mr. 2 Bon Clay laughs uproariously as he pursues them, "GAHAHAHA! I'M GONNA EAT YOU DEAD MEATS RIGHT UP! HOLD ON UUUUP!" Ahead of them, a massive, steep staircase leads up to the palace walls. Vivi realizes the danger and yells, "CARUE, NOOOO! WE'LL BE CORNERED IF WE TRY TO HEAD UP THE STAIRS!" She pleads with the duck, "JUST LET ME OFF! I'LL FIGHT HIM!" However, Carue ignores her and charges straight for the towering vertical wall beside the stairs. Mr. 2 looks shocked, stammering, "T... THIS CAN'T BE...!" Vivi is equally horrified, screaming, "NO, YOU'RE GONNA CRASH INTO THE WALLS! WHA-" Carue lets out a determined "QUACK!"

Defying gravity, Carue runs straight up the sheer vertical face of the Alubarna palace wall! His webbed feet slap against the stone as he carries Vivi upwards in a cloud of dust. "QUAAACK!" he cries out. Down below, Mr. 2 Bon Clay skids to a halt, staring up in absolute disbelief. "Hm? HOW COULD A MERE DUCK RUN UP THE WALLS OF ALUBARNA...!?" Realizing his prey is escaping, Mr. 2 leaps high into the air after them, shouting, "AH- QUA..."

Mid-air, Mr. 2 Bon Clay prepares to strike, yelling, "NOW FALL DOWN AND HAVE A TASTE OF MY OKAMA KEN- GAHAHAHA! OH, YOU SILLY LITTLE DUCK!" However, Carue reaches the top edge of the wall, grabs it with his feet, and vigorously flaps his wings to pull himself and Vivi over the ledge to safety. Mr. 2 lands against the vertical wall but immediately begins to slide down, his hands scraping the stone. "HAND ME THE PRINCESS RIGHT THIS INSTANT, YOU CHEEKY LITTLE DUCK!" he demands. At the top, Vivi looks at Carue in amazement, "CARUE! That was amazing! You actually flew!" As Mr. 2 realizes he is falling, he screams, "WHAAAAT!?" Vivi looks down over the edge, saying, "Even Mr. 2 won't be able to follow after us n-"

Refusing to give up, Mr. 2 Bon Clay shouts, "NOTHING'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR AN OKAMA!" He forcefully kicks his swan-headed shoes directly into the stone wall, using them like climbing picks to halt his fall. He begins to scale the vertical surface, stabbing his shoes into the rock with each step. "OKAMA KENPO... RELEVÉ OF BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS!" he declares as he climbs. Vivi watches in horror from above. Finally, Mr. 2 reaches the top and hauls himself over the ledge, landing on the ground with a heavy thud, panting from the exertion.

From their high vantage point, Vivi looks down at the chaotic battlefield in the city center below, where the royal army and the rebels are clashing violently. She notes with despair, "IT'LL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND KOUZA IN THE MIDST OF THIS CHAOS! The rebels shouldn't have penetrated the city center yet...!" She turns to her duck, "Carue, can you get through this battlefield!?" Suddenly, Mr. 2 Bon Clay leaps into the air behind them, striking a pose. "Heeeerrree's... Mr. 2!" Vivi quickly decides, "We'll look for Chaka first! Head for the palace!" Carue leaps off the high wall, diving towards the city below with a determined look in his eyes.

As Carue descends towards the battlefield, a sudden impact strikes him mid-air. "POP!" Mr. 2 Bon Clay, watching from above, looks surprised. Carue's eyes widen in pain, blood spurting from his body. Vivi screams in horror, "A STRAY BULLET!? CARUEEE!" Carue loses his balance and plummets helplessly towards the chaotic melee of fighting soldiers below, with Vivi still clinging to his back.

Mr. 2 Bon Clay laughs sadistically from the top of the wall as he watches them fall. "GAHAHAHA! RUN ALL YOU WANT, BUT YOU AIN'T GETTIN' AWAY FROM ME!" Carue crashes violently into the sandy ground of the battlefield, sliding across the dirt and kicking up a massive cloud of dust. Vivi is thrown nearby. She cries out desperately, "CARUEEE!" as the brave duck lies motionless on the ground, heavily injured.

Mr. 2 Bon Clay lands on the battlefield and slowly approaches the fallen pair. "IT'S POINTLESS TRYING TO RUN FROM ME! DIDN'T I TELL YOU!?" Despite his severe injuries, Carue struggles to stand, waving his wings protectively in front of Vivi. "QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!" Vivi covers her mouth, tears streaming down her face, "I UNDERSTAND! I..." Mr. 2 prepares to deliver a finishing blow, laughing cruelly, "IT'S TIME YOU STOPPED GETTING IN MY WAY, YOU STUPID DUCK! GAHAHA HAHAHA!" Carue continues to quack defiantly, refusing to back down.

Just as Mr. 2 is about to strike, two other Super Spot-Billed Ducks suddenly fly in and deliver a powerful double kick directly to Mr. 2's face! "OOF!" The impact sends the okama flying backwards across the ground. "GAHHH!" Vivi watches in stunned silence. The two ducks land proudly in front of Carue and Vivi; one wears a spiked helmet and goggles, the other a cowboy hat. Carue quacks happily at his comrades. Vivi, overwhelmed with relief, says, "YOU SAVED US!"

A pair of black-suited legs steps into the foreground. A calm voice says, "Well done, Commander Carue. You're a real man...! You can still stop the rebellion, right Vivi?" The two ducks stand at attention, saluting the newcomer. Vivi looks up, her face lighting up with hope. "Sanji!" Mr. 2 Bon Clay groans as he recovers from the kick. Sanji stands tall, smoking a cigarette and adjusting his cuffs, looking deadly serious. "LEAVE THAT OKAMA, TO ME."

Mr. 2 Bon Clay gets back on his feet, furious. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU ANYWAYS!? STOP GETTING IN MY WAY!" The Super Spot-Billed Ducks quickly carry Vivi away from the fight. Vivi calls back, "I'm fine, just please look after Carue for me!" Mr. 2 notices her escaping and yells, "ACK! SHE'S GETTING AWAY!" Sanji encourages her, "GO, VIVI!" Mr. 2 spins around, launching a powerful spinning kick towards Sanji. "DIE, WHOEVER YOU ARE! THIS IS NOOOOO JOKING MATTER!" Sanji calmly replies, "You stole my sharpshooter's precious goggles..."

Sanji easily blocks Mr. 2's spinning kick with his own leg, their limbs clashing with a loud impact. Sanji demands, "GIVE THEM BACK. NOW." Mr. 2 observes Sanji's strength and asks, "Hmm... Then maybe you're the rumoured Mr. Prince...!?" Mr. 2 continues, "So you're one of the Straw-Hats?" Sanji smirks around his cigarette, "Unlike him, I'm not gonna go down easily..." A pair of goggles falls to the ground and shatters. Sanji simply says, "No..."

A close-up of Sanji smiling confidently. "A first-rate chef of the seas. My name's Sanji," he introduces himself. The two fighters face off against the backdrop of the Alubarna palace. Mr. 2 Bon Clay retorts, "A first-rate chef, you say!? Well I'll have you know I'm a first-rate okama! A mere chef shouldn't be interfering with a criminal organization!" Sanji replies, "You're not the only one in the criminal business. I'm a chef and a pirate." Sanji adds a warning, "You better not mess with this country." Mr. 2 agrees with a sinister tone, "Exactly. An eye for an eye, you say?"

The scene shifts to the Southeastern Gates of Alubarna, which are now in ruins. A voice calls out, "CHOPPER! ARE YOU ALRIGHT, CHOPPER!?" Usopp is seen running through the rubble, carrying a heavily battered Chopper on his back. Chopper weakly says, "USOPP... GOOD TO SEE YOU'RE ALRIGHT..." Usopp replies indignantly, "You were worrying about ME!? I should be worrying about YOU! I'VE COME TO BACK YOU UP! WHERE ARE THEY!? WHERE'S MR. 4 AND HIS PAIR!?" They take cover behind a large rock. Chopper warns, "They're still here... Somewhere..." Usopp readies his slingshot, "Keep your guard up!"

Usopp and Chopper peek out from behind their rock, surveying the devastated landscape. Chopper explains the situation, "Ms. Merry Christmas ate the Mogu Mogu Fruit to become a human-mole. They're below the ground...!" Usopp looks confused, "Huh? What was that? I didn't see anyone..." Chopper continues his tactical breakdown, "He fights with his dog! As for Mr. 4, he's batter No. 4! The clean-up hitter!"

Suddenly, a baseball pops out of a hole in the ground with a "POP!" and a ticking sound "tic toc". Usopp yells, "WHOA! DUCK!" A strange dog with a gun barrel for a face emerges and barks, "WOOF!" Usopp is completely bewildered, "WHA!? I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKIN' ABOUT!" A large baseball flies towards them, ticking ominously. Usopp stares at it, "Huh?" In the background, the large Mr. 4 swings his baseball bat. The baseball lands near Usopp and Chopper and detonates in a massive, devastating explosion that engulfs the area.
