A woman with long dark hair in a ponytail stands amid the coiling limbs as narration notes "WHAT A TEMPER TANTRUM." and "IN FULL BLOOM..." Below, close-ups show a stern man with a scar declaring "I PLAN ON SETTLING THIS QUICKLY!!" while another voice huffs "DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME..." A blonde woman smirks and comments "MUST BE TAKING A LOT OUT OF YOU♡" and "THAT BIG THING..." The bottom panel erupts with action as a horned woman with a bow in her hair faces a massive sea serpent rising from the waves; a voice shouts "SEA SERPENT!!" while a small figure watches from the water.

Explosive combat erupts across the page. A dark, monstrous figure with horns and a skull belt lunges forward amid swirling smoke and impact lines as "GAH!!" and heavy "カバァ!!" sound effects ring out. A woman with horns and flowing hair glares upward, retorting "YOU THINK THAT'LL MAKE ME GIVE UPI" while a close-up of another woman states "THERE'S NO ESCAPE." A clawed hand grabs a serpentine tail. In the lower panels, a scarred man with wild hair shouts "GET A CLUE!!" as the horned woman swings a kanabo staff with fierce determination, sending debris flying amid motion lines and "シャァァァァ!!" effects.

Black Maria's massive spider limbs coil around the dark-haired woman, who is hurled through the air. "SO, YOUR REAL BODY GETS INJURED TOO!!" Black Maria declares as the impact lands. The dark-haired fighter glares back, sweat on her face. "THESE MASSIVE LIMBS ARE JUST BIGGER TARGETS!!" she retorts. "THIS IS GOING TO BE A PIECE OF CAKE!!" Black Maria answers confidently. The dark-haired woman lunges forward, arms outstretched. "MARIA NET!!" she shouts. Black Maria's enormous legs swing in response. "SO YOU'VE FINALLY NOTICED MY LEGS ARE POISON TIPPED..." she says with a smirk as the dark-haired woman evades the strike.

Black Maria's hands surge forward. "MARIA HUSH!!" she cries, her fingers spreading wide. The dark-haired woman is slammed backward by the force, arms flailing. "AAH!!" she screams as the impact sends her crashing through debris. Black Maria looms over her fallen opponent. "...SINCE WE'RE BOTH WOMEN!!" she taunts. The dark-haired woman pushes herself up, hand to her head. "I'M A MARTIAL ARTIST AT HEART," she replies, "AND IT'S NOT LIKE I NEED TO HOLD BACK..."

Black Maria's fist connects hard. "TASTE MY OIRAN KNUCKLES!!" she shouts. The dark-haired woman reels from the blow, "UGH!!" The fight intensifies with rapid strikes. "AHAHAHA, WHAT A SATISFYINGLY LARGE PUNCHING BAG!" Black Maria laughs as her massive limbs pummel the dark-haired woman, who cries out "ARGH!!" The dark-haired woman clutches her head, dazed. "NOW YOU'RE THE ONE TRYING TO GET AWAYI" Black Maria mocks. "OH MY!" she adds with a heart as the dark-haired woman is sent flying amid debris and smoke.

Black Maria's enormous spider form looms as the dark-haired woman is ensnared in her grip. "MARIA CAGE!!" Black Maria announces, her massive limbs forming a prison around the smaller fighter. The dark-haired woman struggles inside the web-like trap. "FWOOSH" sounds as flames ignite along the structure. "BY THE WAY, MY WEB IS FLAMMABLE," Black Maria says with a smile and heart symbol. "HE HE HE!" she laughs, watching the fire spread while the trapped fighter remains caught within the blazing cage.

A massive fiery explosion erupts across the battlefield as flames engulf the area. "MARIA KINDLING!" Black Maria stands amid the blaze. Below, a giant skeleton yōkai labeled Gashadokuro looms. Sanji lies defeated on the ground. Black Maria lounges and taunts, "THIS HUMILIATING DEFEAT JUST PROVES HOW HOPELESS A PAIR OF YOU ARE! THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR DEFENDING THAT DISGRACE, 'BLACK LEG' SANJI!! I SEEM TO RECALL YOU SAYING THIS WOULD BE SETTLED QUICKLY!" The skeleton retorts, "BLACK MARIA-SAN, YOU KEEP SAYING MORONIC THINGS... IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD MAKE MYSELF SCARCE!! YOHOHO!!" Black Maria counters, "WHY DON'T YOU ASK THAT GASHADOKURO* FRIEND TO HELP PUT OUT THE FIREI HEHEHE~ I'D LOVE TO SEE IF A FLOWER CAN SURVIVE IN THIS SEA OF FLAMES! AREN'T YOU GOING TO TRY BLOOMING MORE LIMBSI!" Sanji reacts in pain as she strikes, "AHH! I LET MY GUARD DOWN!!"

Black Maria continues her assault, declaring, "ALL THOSE BIG SHOTS KNOW YOU'RE HELPLESS!! THE ONLY THING OF VALUE ABOUT YOU IS YOUR MIND!! YOU MAY AS WELL NOT HAVE LIMBS, NO ONE NEEDS YOUR HELP! YOU'RE NOTHING BUT DEAD WEIGHT FOR YOUR CREW!! IT'S LIKE I SAID EARLIER! WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW, DEVIL CHILDI!" Elsewhere, a woman with goggles coaches another, "NOT IF YOUR OPPONENT IS GOING FOR THE KILL! IT'S GOT TO AT LEAST BE A PALM STRIKE! YOU JUST NEED TO FOCUS HERE AND WHAM!! WOULDN'T A SLAP SUFFICEI" The goggled woman smiles, "IT'S A MOVE THAT HELPS IN A PINCH!! A SPECIAL PUNCH!!" A man with curly hair sweats as he practices, "RYUSOKEN*..." The goggled woman adds, "I JUST TOLD YOU SHE'S STRONG ENOUGH, DIDN'T II BUT WE'RE WORRIED! WE WANT TO HELP KEEP HER SAFE AFTER SHE LEAVES TOO! DON'T PRESSURE HER! The curly-haired man is struck hard, "BAKI!!" He winces, "......!!" The goggled woman cheers, "ALL RIGHT!" Robin smiles and raises her palm, "GO AHEAD AND SHOW ME HOW TO DO THIS PALM THING. HAHA... IF THAT'S HOW YOU FEEL, THEN WHY NOTI" The goggled woman encourages, "YOU'VE GOTTA HONE IN ON YOUR OPPONENT'S CORE! THIS IS GOING TO BE YOUR TRUMP CARD, ROBIN-SAN!!" The curly-haired man watches an impact, "THAT'S RIGHT..." A close-up shows the man sweating, "IN RETROSPECT, IT'S ALREADY COME IN HANDY A FEW TIMES..." Below, flames rise as Black Maria transforms, "GROWING... MIL FLEUR: FISHMAN KARATE... GIGAN-TESCO MANO!!" Robin stands ready with palms out, "FIRST YOU... IT'S A SECRET FISHMAN KARATE TECHNIQUE!! YOU JUST NEED TO USE YOUR PALMS."

A colossal fiery dragon-like construct erupts upward in a massive blast, "GIGAN-TEUM!!" Black Maria is shocked, "!!I" She yells, "YOU MAGGOT!! YOU PUT OUT THE FIRE! WHA...I" Debris flies everywhere as the structure collapses, "GYAH!!" Black Maria is sent flying amid the wreckage, "YOU MISSEDI! NO, DON'T TELL ME...!!!"

In a massive clash, Nico Robin transforms into her demonic Demonio Fleur form, her massive limbs and wings dominating the ruined hall. She locks Black Maria in a crushing hold and declares, "GRAND JACUZZI CLUTCH!!" Black Maria screams in agony, "AAAAAAARGHHH!!" as debris flies. A close-up shows Robin's fierce face: "I'LL BE A DEVIL IF THAT'S WHAT IT TAKES..." Black Maria gasps, "A DEVIL...I" Robin continues, "THAT COUNT ON ME!!...TO HELP THE PEOPLE..." while Black Maria yells, "GET AWAY!! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT FORMI!" In the next exchange Robin retorts, "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S HELPLESS!!" as Black Maria protests, "NO! I WASN'T TALKING ABOUT ME!" and cries out "GYAH!!" while being slammed.

Robin unleashes her next technique, spinning massive limbs with "ORCHESTRA!!" as Black Maria is hurled through the air. Onlookers react in panic: "BLACK MARIA-SAMA!! DID SOMETHING HAPPENI!" "THAT DAMN GASHADO-KURO...!!" "I CAN'T SEE WITH ALL THIS ICE IN THE WAY!!" "AND THAT HAUNTING SCREAMI!" "WHAT WAS THAT SOUND JUST NOWI!" Black Maria's subordinates stare in horror as the demonic figure looms. Robin lands another crushing blow while one voice shouts, "THANKS FOR LINING UP LIKE THAT--D YOHOHO!!" and another cries "NOW, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO! PHRASE D'ARMES..." Black Maria's form twists violently as the assault continues, ending with screams of "GYAAAH!! IT'S A DEMON!!"

The scene shifts away from the castle. Brook calls out, "EASY THERE, ROBIN-SAN!! I OVERDID IT A BIT..." A small furry creature reacts nearby. Elsewhere at Tokage Port - Udon, a massive horned man with crossed weapons roars, "THAT'S A WHOLE MONTH'S WORTH OF FOOD!! IF YOU DON'T PAY ME BACK IN FULL, I'LL BE SCREWED!! DON'T YOU GUYS GET ITI!" while a sign reads "TOKAGE PORT - UDON." A tiny figure clings to a giant food-filled creature as the big man complains, "STRAW HAT! IF YOU'RE FEELING BETTER, PLEASE GIVE US AN UPDATE ON WHAT'S HAPPENING ON ONIGASHIMA!! WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR CAPTAIN AND BEPOS GROUPI!" The giant adds, "KEHEHEHE~ MY SWAMP-SWAMP FRUIT'S CAPACITY IS BOUNDLESS! IT'S CRAZY YOU CAN CARRY THAT MUCH FOOD ON YOU..." while muttering "TRAF... MUNCH MUNCH CHEW CHEW... WHOOP... KAIDO..."

Momonosuke, heavily bandaged and tearful, faces Shinobu on the shore near a burning Onigashima fragment. He pleads, "IF I DO IT, YOU'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO RETURN TO NORMAL, AND YOU'LL STILL HAVE THE HEART AND MIND OF A CHILD!" Shinobu replies, "I DON'T CARE ABOUT THAT! PLEASE, YOUR HELP COULD TRANSFORM ME INTO A BIGGER DRAGON!!" Momonosuke refuses, "I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU GO BACK THERE!!" as the burning island looms with the warning "THAT PLACE IS TOO DANGEROUS!!" In a close-up Momonosuke cries with desperate resolve, "...TO MAKE ME AN ADULT!!" and begs, "I BEG OF YOU, SHINOBU! USE YOUR RIPE-RIPE JUTSU..." The final panel shows the chapter end with Luffy's silhouette and the text "ONE PIECE CH. 1021 END" amid the words "SUCH UNWAVERING RESOLVE!!"
