The Key to Release

A massive vehicle plummets off a crumbling stone bridge amid explosions and smoke. Large sound effects "ドドドド" and screams "あああああ" fill the air as the structure collapses. Below, a small reindeer-like figure yells "NYAA!!" while a wide-eyed character shouts "IT'S A FALL!!". A long-nosed figure laughs wildly "NGAGA-GAGA-GAGA!!". The falling vehicle continues its descent with more screams "AAAAA-AAAAH!!" and "ああああ" echoing across the chasm between fortress-like buildings.

Close-ups show a massive furry creature roaring "FOR HELPING THE IDIOT CALLED ROGER!!!" and "I'M PROUD OF MYSELF WITH A DON...". A long-nosed man sweats, muttering "...IT BRINGS BACK MEMORIES, TOM-SAN..." and "NGA-GAGA". Speech bubbles recall "ALSO AN IDIOT, JUST LIKE HIM... THAT ROGER... WAS......AND YOU LENT HIM A HAND...". Luffy appears smiling, declaring "I'M LUFFY, THE MAN WHO'LL BECOME THE PIRATE KING." and replying "YEAH!" and "REALLY!I". A frantic figure warns "WE'LL CRASH~!!" and "YOU'D PROBABLY...". A massive mechanical beast with a shark-like maw and cannon barrels bursts through the structure amid roaring explosions and smoke. GYAA-AAH!! screams a victim as the creature lunges forward. RUN!!! shout terrified figures in hats while others flee in panic. The beast smashes onward with massive impact lines and debris flying. In the next panel the creature crashes through a bridge or walkway, scattering more wreckage. Below, a long-haired figure stares in horror, sweat flying, and declares THEY CAME. Nearby a short figure sweats with a blank expression while another person with light hair stands silently in the background. Large SFX mark the destruction and panic throughout the page.

Lucci grabs a struggling person and shouts DAMN IT!! YOU, COME WITH ME!! while dragging them away. AH! cries the captive. In the distance, suited figures stand on a walkway as someone yells THEY CAME!!! Lucci continues, NOW, I'LL LET YOU DO WHATEVER YOU LIKE, CP9!! A close-up shows a dark-haired woman sweating and gritting her teeth, UGH...!!! thinking IF ONLY I COULD TAKE OFF THESE KAIROUSEKI HANDCUFFS...!!! Funkfreed the elephant-sword charges forward with PAOOON!! as Lucci commands LUCCI!! YOU COME WITH ME!! and another voice orders YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO BUTCHER THEM UP!! CRUSH THEM IN THIS JUDICIAL TOWER!!! The massive tower labeled ENIES LOBBY rises in the background while a voice states WHATEVER YOU DO, PROTECTING MY LIFE IS YOUR FIRST PRIORITY!! GOT IT!I

Funkfreed's sword form transforms, trunk and tusks emerging with PAO~!! and PAON!! SFX while a dark-haired woman watches in surprise. The blade is labeled Zouken* Funkfreed (Zou Zou no mi). Spandam grips the transformed sword, grinning, ALL RIGHT, GOOD BOY. Below, Spandam raises the weapon and declares TO TAKE THIS WOMAN BACK, STRAWHAT!!! while Nico Robin stands beside him. She replies NOW, LET'S HEAD FOR THE GATES OF JUSTICE!!! I DARE YOU. A SHINK! sound effect accompanies the raised blade.

The Enies Lobby tower looms as voices shout BRO'S NOT IN CUSTODY ANYMORE!! FINALLY ARRIVED AT THE JUDICIAL TOWER....!! STRAWHAT-SAN AND THE REST HAVE COME....!! FRANKY-BRO'S SAFE AND SOUND!! The Straw Hat crew charges forward with cheers and battle cries: GO FOR IT, BRO!! DO YOUR BEST, STRAWHATS!!! IT SEEMS HE'S JOINING IN!! THAT'S RIGHT, BRO'S JUST LIKE THAT!!! Below, the massive beast rampages again amid rubble. Kokoro yells KOKORO-BABAA!! BRATS!! A massive impact leaves two figures reeling. The horned man roars, "YOU SHOULD HAVE MORE SEVERE THAN JUST A NOSEBLEED AFTER THAT CRASH!!!" while the bowler-hatted man grins wildly, "I GOT A NOSEBLEED!!" Below, the Straw Hats recover from the fall. Luffy pants, "...WE'RE NOT MADE OF RUBBER LIKE YOU. THERE'S N-NO WAY FOR H-HUMANS... MADE OF FLESH AND BLOOD... TO TAKE A PLUNGE LIKE THAT... AND STAY..." Sanji thanks their helper, "THANKS FOR THE HELP, MONSTER BAA-SAN!!" Luffy shouts, "HEY, GUYS! GET UP ALREADY!! THAT WAS NOTHING!!" Someone calls out, "STRAWHAT." The group cheers, "ALL RIGHT! WE'VE MADE IT!!!" A huge impact erupts with the sound "ボコォォン". Robin stands with arms crossed, observing the chaos. She remarks, "YOU GUYS ARE ALL WEIRD." Sanji replies, "THEY'RE ALL FINE." The narration declares, "UNINJURED!!!" Robin adds, "JUST SO YOU KNOW."

Luffy yells urgently, "LET'S HURRY AND GET TO ROBIN!!" as he spots a distant staircase. "THERE'S A STAIRCASE OVER THERE!!" In the ruined tower, the crew reacts to a hanging figure. "WHAT'S THAT!I" someone shouts. The figure cries, "WAIT!" A voice warns, "EVEN IF YOU GO TO THE ROOM YOU SAW EARLIER... LUCCI TOOK HER TO THE GATES OF JUSTICE." The massive face of the CP9 chief looms, declaring, "THEY'VE BROKEN IN!!" He continues, "YOU WON'T FIND NICO ROBIN..." The shocked crew reacts with "EH!I" and "AH... AND CHIEF, TOO." The chief finishes, "CHAPAPA-PAPA...!!!"

The CP9 chief taunts from above, "THERE'S NO WAY FOR YOU TO FREE NICO ROBIN, UNLESS YOU DEFEAT US." He adds, "AND US CP9 WON'T ALLOW YOU TO FOLLOW BECAUSE WE'VE RECEIVED AN ORDER TO OBLITERATE YOU!!" and "HE'S HEADING THERE NOW, BUT I WON'T TELL YOU HOW TO GET THERE... CHAPA PA." Below, the crew examines a strange key. Nami asks, "A KEY TO WHATI" Usopp echoes, "A KEY!I" The chief holds it up, "LOOK AT THIS." Nami realizes, "IT'S A STONE THAT NULLIFIES DEVIL FRUIT'S POWER!" The chief confirms, "IT'S A KEY TO THE KAIROUSEKI HANDCUFFS" and "THAT NICO ROBIN IS RESTRAINED WITH!" Franky exclaims, "KAIROU-SEKI!I" Nami recalls, "I HEARD IT HAS THE SAME EFFECT AS WHEN YOU GUYS FALL INTO THE SEA."

The crew processes the revelation. Nami notes, "KAIROUSEKI IS AS HARD AS DIAMOND, SO HER HANDCUFFS WILL NEVER COME OFF." Usopp wonders, "SHOULD YOU MANAGE TO RESCUE NICO ROBIN SOMEHOW..." The chief sneers, "IF YOU DON'T MIND THAT, THEN GO RESCUE HER NOW. CHAPA PA." Luffy stares at the key in shock, "WHAAAT!I" The chief mocks, "I NEVER SAID THIS WAS THE REAL KEY. DON'T RUSH...!!!" Someone observes, "...LOOKS LIKE HE CAN USE THAT TECHNIQUE, TOO."

Inside the tower, a CP9 agent explains the situation: "THERE ARE FIVE CP9 MEMBERS IN THIS TOWER, EACH OF US HOLDING A KEY AND WAITING FOR YOU." Luffy stands below with arms outstretched as another voice suggests, "MAYBE IT'S THE KEY TO A DIFFERENT PAIR HAND-CUFFS." Sanji angrily confronts the group, shouting, "WHAT A CRAPPY WAY TO PLAY FOR TIME...!!! WHILE WE'RE WASTING OUR TIME HERE, YOU'RE PROBABLY PLANNING TO TAKE ROBIN-CHAN TO THE GATES OF JUSTICE. AREN'T YOU!I" He continues, "UNTIL WE TAKE THE KEYS FROM YOU AND TRY THEM ON ROBIN'S HANDCUFFSI THEN, WE WON'T KNOW IF IT'S REAL OR NOT." Usopp, still in his Sogeking persona, tells Luffy, "CHAPAPAPA. YOU'RE SMART.... BUT IF YOU DO THAT," while the others urge action: "FORGET ABOUT HIM AND LET'S HURRY!! AND TAKE CARE OF GETTING THE KEYS AFTERWARDS! WE SHOULD MAKE SURE TO GET ROBIN BACK,... BUT WE SHOULD TAKE CARE OF ROBIN FIRST!"

Usopp declares, "TOSS THIS KEY IN TO THE SEA!! CHAPAPAPA. I'LL JUST" as he holds up a key. Luffy reacts with shock, yelling "HOGAGA GAGA!!! HEY, WAIT! YOU, WAIT!!! YOU!! WAIT~!!!" while charging forward. The CP9 agents taunt them: "SEE YA. WE'RE JUST GIVING YOU A CHANCE." Sanji and the others discuss the situation, with one noting, "WE CAN JUST LET LUFFY GO AHEAD. IF HE'S WITH ROBIN-CHAN, YEAH, HE IS. IS 'LUCCI' THAT PIGEON GUYI HOLD IT FOR A BIT!! WAIT UNTIL WE CONFIRM THAT EVERYONE'S GONE FROM HERE!!! FUNGO-GAGA-GAGA!!!" Sanji calls out, "LUFFY! JUST GO AND BEAT UP THAT PIGEON GUY!!!" as Luffy struggles and shouts, "LEGGO OF ME, DAMN IT!!!"

Franky speaks through a scope, warning, "IF ROBIN-KUN ENTERS THE GATES, IT'S ALL OVER. TIME IS VERY IMPORTANT HERE." The crew agrees on the plan: "AND THEN MEET WITH LUFFY!!! GET ALL FIVE KEYS FOR ROBIN-CHAN'S HANDCUFFS, EXCLUDING LUFFY, THERE ARE SIX OF US. WE'LL FIND THE FIVE CP9 THAT ARE HERE." Sanji adds, "IT'S A WASTE OF TIME TO LOSE..." as a CP9 agent laughs, "FUGIGIGI!!!" In a dramatic splash, the crew charges forward with Luffy shouting, "YEAH!!!" and the narration declaring, "SO WIN, EVEN IF YOU DIE!!!" while the massive gates and Enies Lobby loom ahead amid explosions and debris.

Spandam laughs maniacally, "WAHA-HAHA-HAHA-HA!!!...!!! NOBODY WILL COME TO RESCUE YOU, NICO ROBIN!!!" as he drags Robin up the stairs, declaring, "FIRST OF ALL, THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO GET TO THE GATES OF JUSTICE!!!" Luffy races through the halls, yelling, "I'M SURE I'LL BUMP INTO THEM SOMEWHERE!! THEY WERE RIGHT THERE JUST A MINUTE AGO." Robin's voice echoes desperately, "ROBIN!!! I WON'T LET YOU GO TO THE GATES OF JUSTICE....!!!" as Luffy bursts forward with intense speed lines and impact effects surrounding the towering structure labeled "ENIES LOBBY" and "GATES OF JUSTICE."

Inside the tower hallway, Sanji scans the area while muttering, "I CAN'T FIGHT CP9 UNLESS I HAVE THE MAX OF 3 BOTTLES!! I USED UP A BOTTLE AND A HALF OF COLA FOR 'COUP DE BOO'... THAT MAKES IT A TOTAL OF MORE THAN 2 BOTTLES TODAY!! OH! THAT LOOKS LIKE A KITCHEN OVER THERE." He spots a door and thinks, "SHIT, THIS ISN'T GOOD. BEFORE THE FIGHT... WHERE THE HECK IS THE KITCHENI" Suddenly a massive elephant-like creature bursts through the wall with a huge open mouth, smashing debris everywhere as Sanji is sent flying. The impact is marked with loud SFX. Later, the spiky-haired CP9 agent Fukurou leans in close with an enormous grin and declares, "I'M 'OTONASHI' NO FUKUROU WHO LOVES TO GOSSIP. DID YOU WANT THE KEYI CHAPA-PAPAPA!!" while a silent panel shows the aftermath.

Fukurou laughs wildly, "WAHAHA!! I BET THEY'RE AFRAID OF ME!!" as he checks doors down the corridor, repeatedly saying "THERE'S NO ONE HERE" and "NOT HERE." He leaves the key dangling in the lock. Nami lies unconscious on the grass outside with "ONZZZZ..." and "GUGAH... GOGAH..." sound effects. She wakes up dazed, thinking "WHAT'S WITH THIS DUNGEON-LIKE CORRIDOR...I" and spots the key, exclaiming in shock, "H-HE LEFT THE KEY THERE AND IS SLEEPING...!!! D-DOES THIS MEAN IT'S A SUPER LUCKY BIG CHANCE FOR ME!I" Fukurou snores nearby with "Z Z Z" while Nami stares in disbelief.

Inside the building, a wild scuffle erupts as a long-haired woman swings a large weapon while yelling "HO~~LD IT FO~~R A SECOND!!! AIYA, HOLD IT!" and "YOYOI!!! YOYOI!!! NOW THAT I'VE SEEN YOU HERE, PIRATE, YOU'RE DONE FOR!!!" A man with a scarred face shouts back "YOYOI!!!" while the woman thinks "HE'S SO NOISY...!!!" The fight spills into a grand hall where Sanji stands calmly and says, "NOBODY'S IN HERE, EITHER!! PLEASE MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME." The scarred man reacts with fury, "HOW ABOUT HERE!!I" as doors slam and debris flies. A note reads "*LITERALLY 'THIS IS THE 100TH YEAR OF THE MEETING.'*"

Kalifa adjusts her glasses and calmly asks, "WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE SOME TEA...I" while Sanji reacts with a heart-shaped eye and swirling expression, replying "YESH, PWEEEEEZE. ♡" with "AH!" SFX. In another room, a tall figure in a black coat sits silently in an armchair. A close-up shows a grinning man saying, "IT CRAVES BLOOD. IT'S BEEN GROWLING; DRAWN YOUR SWORD..." while another masked figure replies, "I SEE YOU'VE ALREADY..." The large boot of the standing figure crushes debris near the seated man as tension fills the air.
