Leave It to Us!!!

On the "BEACH OF PUNK HAZARD," the fight around the tanker continues amid smoke, poison, and wreckage. Buffalo and Baby 5 are exhausted and furious because General Franky keeps stopping them from retrieving Caesar. Buffalo snarls, "WHAT THE HELL!! NONE OF OUR ATTACKS HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THAT IRON SOLDIER!!" Franky, inside the General, answers from his own logic: "THAT'S WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO TAKE SOMEONE'S COLA!" Buffalo is confused: "COLA!? WHAT ARE YOU BLATHERING ABOUT!?" Baby 5 prepares another attack and warns, "BUT THERE'S NO ONE WHO CAN BLOCK THIS NEXT ATTACK!!" Buffalo adds, "NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, IT'S SUPER-USELESS!!" Their new plan is to use rotation and cutting power together, drilling through the robot that has been holding them away from Caesar.

Baby 5 changes form again, turning herself into a curved blade and calling the attack "SICKLE GIRL!!" Buffalo explains the plan as he spins her forward: "WITH THIS SPINNING WEAPON... WE'LL GOUGE THAT BODY THROUGH AND THROUGH." The blade strikes General Franky with a heavy impact, scraping across the armored body and forcing the machine backward. When the attack lands cleanly, Baby 5 smiles and says, "I'LL GIVE YOU CREDIT FOR THAT ONE." Buffalo answers with satisfaction, "OK." The strike does not settle the battle, but it is the first moment where the Donquixote assassins look as if they may be able to damage the General enough to reach Caesar.

Franky begins to load his own counterattack, but the General's absurd style makes the assassins hesitate. He says, "I... CALL IT..." with a "PUFF" as his weapon charges. Baby 5 and Buffalo see the cannon forming and one of them warns that it is not an ordinary pierce: "IT'S NO SMALL FEAT TO PIERCE THE GENERAL'S BODY, BUT THAT'S ALL YOU'VE DONE. THIS SORT OF ATTACK... IT'S LIKE A MANTIS STRIKING A BATTLESHIP!!" Franky declares the ship-level weapon he copied onto land: "THE SHIP THAT WILL ONE DAY TAME THESE SEAS--THE THOUSAND SUNNY!! THE POWER OF ITS ULTIMATE SECRET WEAPON!! IT'LL BE WASTED ON YOU GUYS, BUT ALLOW ME TO SHOW YOU!! THE LAND-BASED SPINOFF OF THE 'GAON CANNON'!!" Then he fires: "GENERAL CANNON!!!" The blast erupts from the General in a huge shockwave.

The "GENERAL CANNON" tears across the beach, blasting Baby 5 and Buffalo away and carving a huge hole through the smoke and cliffs of Punk Hazard. The assassins are stunned. One asks, "WHAT THE... THIS GUY" and another says, "WHY IS THIS GUY STOPPING US FROM RETRIEVING CAESAR...!!" They look toward the wreckage and finally identify the dark shape lying in the gas and debris. Buffalo asks, "WHO'S THAT LYING OVER THERE..." and then realizes, "IT'S CAESAR, ISN'T IT?" Doflamingo's incoming crew had expected to collect Caesar cleanly, but now they find him beaten, unconscious, and guarded by a machine they did not account for.

Baby 5 and Buffalo finally understand that Franky is not simply showing off. Baby 5 says, "OI OI THAT'S PRETTY SHOCKING... HE'S NOT JUST SOME ORDINARY GUY..." Franky, still standing between them and Caesar, answers, "...!!! I'M NOT DONE... JUST YET. I DON'T CARE WHO YOU ARE OR WHERE YOU'RE FROM." Buffalo confronts him as a servant of Doflamingo: "WE CAN'T HAVE YOU WRITING US OFF AS MERE TRASH... WE'RE DEFENDING 'JOKER'S' NAME HERE...!! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU DO... WE'LL BE TAKING... CAESAR." Franky does not move. Near the escape route, the S.A.D. trolley approaches the exit while someone calls, "IT'S THE EXIT! WE'RE ALMOST THERE!!" and another says, "BLAST THAT WIND, NAMI!! A WORLD OF POISON IS RIGHT AHEAD OF US!!" The two fronts are about to meet: Franky's battle outside and the survivors' escape from inside.

The S.A.D. transport bursts out of the collapsing laboratory, and the survivors shout, "WE'RE OUT!!" The rail car marked "8599" shoots through smoke and falling debris into open air. The escape group erupts with relief: "UOOH HHHHH HHH!!" and "OHH!! LOOK OVER THERE!!" They spot Franky and the General ahead, and one voice cheers, "IT'S SHOGUN!!" Franky, grinning through the damaged General, sees them too and says, "SO THEY'RE FINALLY HERE. I WAS GETTING SICK OF WAITING!!!" The page is the payoff to the long escape route. The children, G-5, Straw Hats, Law, and Smoker have survived the poison maze, and outside, Franky has held the line long enough for them to arrive.

General Franky appears through the cleared smoke in dramatic form, glittering in the eyes of the escaped crowd. The children and Marines explode with excitement: "IT'S A ROBOT!!" and "HOW AWESOME!!!" while Nami, Robin, and the others stare. Law is not impressed by the spectacle. He recognizes the enemies immediately and shouts, "BUFFALO!! AND YOU'RE... BABY-5!!?" He also understands what their arrival means: "...LAW!!! ARE YOU REALLY GOING AGAINST JOKER!?" Buffalo accuses him, "THIS TRAITOR!! TO THINK THAT FOR YOUR SAKE JOKER WAS STILL HOLDING ONTO THE SEAT OF 'HEART.'" Luffy asks, "HMM? WHO'RE THEY? FRIENDS OF YOURS?" and Law answers bluntly, "NO." The enemy line is now clear to everyone: these are Doflamingo's people, and they came for Caesar.

The Straw Hats and their temporary allies treat Baby 5 and Buffalo as enemies at once. Brook, Sanji, Zoro, Law, Luffy, Nami, and the others stand together, and someone declares, "THEY'RE ENEMIES!!" Buffalo sees the problem from the sky: "IT'S THE WHOLE CREW, ALONG WITH THE G-5 MARINES!! WE'RE AT A REAL DISADVANTAGE HERE!!" Baby 5 says they are getting away with Caesar and tells Buffalo, "ALRIGHT, LEAVE IT TO US!!" Luffy notices the flying pair and says, "OI OI," but Nami points out, "FLYING ENEMIES ARE WORK FOR A SNIPER!!" Luffy agrees, "USOPP JUST TOLD YOU TO LEAVE IT TO US," and Zoro adds, "IT WOULDN'T BE SMART TO UNDERESTIMATE OUR SNIPER JUST BECAUSE HE'S GOT A LONG NOSE!!" Law tries to remind them, "WE FORMED AN ALLIANCE, DIDN'T WE!? I'D APPRECIATE IT IF YOU TRUSTED US JUST A BIT!!" but Sanji cuts him off: "DON'T BE STUPID. IN THE EVENT THAT THEY GET AWAY, OUR WHOLE STRATEGY WILL..." Nami smiles, "I'VE JUST BEEN RUNNING AWAY ALL DAY. TIME TO GET IN SOME LICKS, MYSELF."

Usopp and Nami step forward together. Nami declares, "I'M NOT AFRAID OF FAR-AWAY ENEMIES WHO'VE LOST THE WILL TO FIGHT!!" and tells the others, "IF THEY'RE WOUNDED AND RUNNING, LEAVE THEM TO US!!" Usopp adds, "WHATEVER, JUST GET ON WITH IT!!" He readies his Black Kabuto and calls for the plant to grow: "GROW UP!! FROM 'BLACK KABUTO' INTO 'CHOMP GRASS'!!" Nami squeezes water onto the living weapon and says, "NOW, A BIT OF WATER!!" while Usopp yells, "HELP ME OUT AGAIN!!" The weapon opens like a hungry plant and starts eating ammunition with "CHOMP CHOMP." Their confidence is not bravado alone. Usopp has the range and seastone plan, Nami has the weather attack, and both know the wounded assassins are trying to flee rather than fight at full strength.

Usopp feeds the living slingshot and says, "EAT UP, NOW!! LOAD UP ON AMMO!!" Chomp Grass gulps down the projectiles with "MUNCH MUNCH" while Buffalo realizes the danger: "BE ON GUARD, BUFFALO!! At the same time, something flies toward them and someone shouts, "SOMETHING'S FLYING TOWARDS US!" The page shows why the two are vulnerable: Buffalo is focused on transport, Baby 5 is eager to be needed, and Usopp and Nami are preparing a coordinated trap from below.

Nami launches the weather attack. She calls, "WEATHER EGG!!" then swings the Clima-Tact and says, "NOW BE BORN!!! LIGHT-NING-CHAN!!" The egg splits open into a dense thundercloud that expands across the sky. Baby 5 realizes, "A THUNDER-CLOUD!!?" and warns, "BUFFALO, I'VE GOT A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS!!" Buffalo spins harder and insists, "I'M ALREADY GOING AT TOP SPEED!!" Nami calmly flips her weapon and says, "NO, YOU WON'T GET AWAY." The page gives the attack time to form before impact: the cloud is not a simple bolt but a weather trap, spreading over the fleeing pair until their speed no longer matters.

Nami names the technique: "THIS IS WEATHER SCIENCE...!!! 'THUNDER BREED'...!!" Baby 5 cries, "NO WAY...!!" as the cloud erupts around them. The lightning attack strikes with "TEMPO!!" and engulfs Baby 5 and Buffalo in a blast of electricity. They scream, "UWAAH HHH!!" and "GYAH HHHHH HHHH," their bodies blackening as the thunder tears through the sky. The attack is precise and tactical. Nami does not need to chase them or board the tanker; she turns the weather over the battlefield itself into a weapon and drops the flying assassins out of the air.

Baby 5 falls smoking and defeated, and Buffalo realizes, "BABY-5!! SHIT... SHE'S DONE FOR...!!" Their bodies tumble toward the tanker while the captured Caesar lies nearby in the wreckage. Usopp moves into the finishing stage: "SPECIAL!!! METEOR STORM ASSAULT!!" He rains projectiles across the battlefield and says, "AND NOW THE FINISHER, LET'S DO IT, CHOMP GRASS!!" Chomp Grass launches forward, guided by Usopp's shot and the living plant's bite. A targeting panel beeps over Caesar, making the goal explicit. Nami has taken away the sky escape; now Usopp is targeting the prize of the whole operation before Buffalo can recover.

Buffalo tries to keep the mission alive even after Nami's lightning. Baby 5 calls, "OH!! OI, BUFFALO YOU'VE GOTTA PROTECT ME!! I CAN'T MOVE," and Buffalo answers, "OF COURSE. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME. I WILL CARRY OUT MY MISSION FOR THE DONQUIXOTE FAMILY...!!" He charges through the debris with a wild cry, "UBEGE BABACACADE BABABA!!" still determined to reach Dressrosa. But Caesar understands the truth of the situation better than Buffalo does. He mutters, "...I... I'LL GET TO DRESSROSA ON MY OWN...!!" then realizes, "THAT MORON!! NO HELP AT ALL!!" He also believes Usopp's attack cannot affect him: "OH...!? YOU THINK THAT'LL WORK ON ME? I'M GAS!! IT'S USELESS. THE FINAL SHOT WAS..." Caesar's confidence lasts only until the actual projectile reaches him.

Usopp's final shot reveals its real purpose: "THE SEASTONE CUFFS!!" The cuffs spin through the air and clamp onto Caesar, who screams, "GUBE HHH!!" The seastone strips his Logia escape away and binds him like a solid body. The crowd erupts as Usopp reels him in, and someone cheers, "ALRIGHT, YOU GOT HIM!!" Another shouts at the captured scientist, "WHADDYA SAY TO THAT, CAESAR!!" Usopp answers with tired confidence, "YEAH, WE GOT IT ALREADY!! JUST LEAVE FLEEING ENEMIES TO ME." The chapter title lands here: Luffy and Law trusted the distant enemies to Nami and Usopp, and they deliver. Caesar, the key to the alliance's strategy, is captured alive with seastone cuffs.

Baby 5, Buffalo, and Caesar hang defeated above the ruined tanker while the escape group looks on. Luffy grins and says, "...WELL... THE FIRST STAGE IS COMPLETE," while someone beside him admits, "HOW WAS THAT? THEY'RE PRETTY GOOD, AREN'T THEY!" The plan has finally succeeded: the children are out, the survivors have escaped, and Caesar is in custody. Far away over the sea, Doflamingo has missed the critical window. He stops in the empty sky and says, "AH... I OVERSLEPT A BIT... WHICH WAY TO PUNK HAZARD?" A shadowed voice or thought trails off with "NNN..." The closing joke does not remove the danger; it makes it sharper. Doflamingo is coming personally, but he has lost time, and the first phase of Law and Luffy's plan is already done.
