At Cacao Island's Chocolatown, the town sees Pudding and Chiffon arrive by carpet. Voices call, "LADY PUDDING!" "LADY CHIFFON!" and "AH! FLUFFY MINISTER!" Pudding immediately protects Chiffon from blame: "IT'S OKAY. CHIFFON HERE WASN'T THE CULPRIT BEHIND THE MUTINY. HER HUSBAND, GANG BEGE, IS THE ONE TO BLAME!" Chiffon is visibly apologetic and says, "I'M SO SORRY, CHIFFON." Pudding answers gently, "IT'S OKAY, PUDDING. I KNOW WHAT PEOPLE THINK OF ME." She also makes clear why Chiffon has come: "AT THE MOMENT, THE STORY IS THAT I'M THREATENING YOU SO THAT YOU'RE FORCED TO MAKE THIS CAKE WITH ME." The mission begins under a public lie meant to let Chiffon help without immediately being treated as a traitor.

Chocolatown's people have heard what happened at the wedding. A man says, "MY, MY, LADY PUDDING. ALL THAT'S HAPPENED TODAY... I HEARD THE STORY..." He frames the ruined ceremony as "BY THE BARGING IN OF THE STRAW HATS AND BEGE'S REVOLT!" Pudding does not dwell on that and replies, "YES... BUT THERE'S NO HELPING WHAT'S ALREADY HAPPENED!" The real emergency is Big Mom: "AND MAMA'S FLOWN INTO SUCH A RAGE!" Someone warns, "INDEED. HER RAGE AND HUNGER MAY YET DESTROY THIS COUNTRY ITSELF." Pudding asks, "HAVE THE ARRANGEMENTS BEEN MADE?" and hears that "ABOUT AN HOUR AGO, 31 CHEFS ARRIVED FROM WHOLE CAKE ISLAND." She presents herself as the bride most affected by the incident, saying, "AS THE BRIDE, YOU WERE THE ONE AFFECTED THE MOST BY THIS INCIDENT, AND YET..." but then declares, "LEAVE IT TO ME♡ I WON'T LET MAMA DESTROY THIS COUNTRY!"

Pudding reaches the Chocolatown Sweets Factory, where Whole Cake Island's 31 chefs have gathered. They announce, "LADY PUDDING! WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU," and "WE'VE BEGUN THE INITIAL PREPARATIONS!" Pudding addresses both the chefs and the townspeople: "TOWNSPEOPLE, I HAVE A REQUEST FOR ALL OF YOU!" Outside the factory she explains the stakes clearly: "WE'RE BETTING OUR LIVES, AND THE VERY FATE OF THIS COUNTRY, ON THIS CAKE! WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO FOCUS AS BEST AS WE CAN!" Her instructions are strict: "PLEASE, DO NOT PEEK INSIDE THE FACTORY DURING THE PREPARATIONS! AND DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE THAT ARRIVES HERE, REGARDLESS OF WHO THEY MAY BE, TO PEEK, EITHER!" The factory becomes a sealed battlefield for baking.

The chefs accept Pudding's command and shout, "OKAY! WE HEAR YOU, LADY PUDDING!" Pudding calls, "COME IN ONE AT A TIME, CHEFS!" while thinking, "NOW SANJI SHOULDN'T GET SPOTTED. BEST OF LUCK!" Inside the factory, Kitchen 1 head chef Bouche reports, "KITCHEN 1 HEAD CHEF, BOUCHE, REPORTING FOR DUTY!" Sanji slips out of Chiffon's carpet with a "PHEW," and Chiffon says, "THERE YOU ARE!" Sanji answers, "THANKS." Time is short, so Chiffon asks, "YOU REMEMBER WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE?" Sanji replies, "MORE OR LESS." He explains the plan: "SO I DREW UP A DIAGRAM FOR THE DESIGN OF THE CAKE WHILE I WAS WRAPPED UP IN THERE." The cake-making operation starts with Sanji hidden inside the factory, exactly as Pudding intended.

Sanji reveals how precisely he understood the wedding cake. Chiffon asks, "WHA-?! I GET THAT YOU KNOW WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE, BUT HOW DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IT WAS MADE WITH?!" Sanji answers simply, "BY ITS SMELL." The chefs are stunned. One cries, "WHOA! PUDDING LOOKS SO CUTE AS A COOK♡" when Pudding changes into her cooking outfit, while Pudding snaps herself into work mode: "ALRIGHT, SNAP TO IT! EVERY MINUTE COUNTS!" Chiffon tells Sanji, "LET'S GIVE IT OUR BEST, MR. HUSBAND!" Pudding confirms, "THAT'S THE STORY WE'RE WORKING WITH." The chefs see Sanji's diagram and shout, "WH-WHO IN THE WORLD DREW UP THIS DIAGRAM AND WROTE OUT THIS RECIPE?!" Sanji says, "LET ME KNOW IF I GOT ANYTHING WRONG, OKAY?" The answer from the professionals is admiration: "IT'S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! YOU'VE EVEN INCLUDED THE HIDDEN FLAVORS THAT STREUSEN TOOK OVER A WEEK TO COME UP WITH!"

IF YOU TRY TO ORDER ME AROUND AS A HUSBAND, I'LL STRANGLE YOU, SANJI..." The technical split is clear: "CHIFFON, THE BAKING OF THAT HUGE CHIFFON CAKE, AND PUDDING, THE TEMPERING OF THE CHOCOLATE!" WE'LL HAVE THE ULTIMATE CAKE READY BY THE TIME WE RENDEZVOUS WITH THE SUNNY!" Someone says, "I SEE. NO TIME WASTED, HUH," while another worries, "BUT... WE'LL BE SO RUSHED..." Pudding shouts at the hesitant chefs, "YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! DO YOU WANT MAMA TO RAZE THIS PLACE TO THE GROUND?!" They answer, "WE'RE SO SORRY! WE'LL FOLLOW YOUR LEAD!" The three specialists state their reasons together. Pudding says, "I'VE GOTTA HELP SANJI AND THE OTHERS ESCAPE! WITH MY SWEET, SWEET CHOCOLATE!" Sanji says, "JUST YOU WAIT, YOU LOT! I'LL SHOW YOU REAL 'ATTACK COOKING'!" Chiffon says, "I'VE GOTTA MAKE THIS! FOR THE ONES THAT SAVED LOLA! MY SPECIALTY, THE HEAVENLY FLUFFY CHIFFON CAKE!" and they launch the work with "ALRIGHT! LET'S COOK!"

In the mirror world, Brulee wakes to learn that Perospero survived. A soldier says, "SO YOU'RE STILL ALIVE, HUH, BROTHER PEROS. KUKUKU! JUST BARELY!" Perospero explains from the mirror network, "RIGHT NOW, I'M CHASING AFTER THEIR SHIP WITH MAMA. THEY'RE DETERMINED LITTLE COWARDS." Katakuri listens and says, "I SEE." He looks at the battered Luffy and says, "WHAT A MISERABLY PATHETIC END. PEDRO, I MEAN. OI! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING, STRAW HAT?" Then he calls, "OI, BRULEE." Brulee wakes with "FGAH!" and answers, "Y-YES, BROTHER?" Katakuri gives the practical reason he needs her awake: "HOW LONG DO YOU PLAN ON DOZING OFF? AS LONG AS YOU'RE ASLEEP, THESE SOLDIERS ARE STUCK HERE."

Katakuri reads Luffy's motive and weaponizes Brulee's mirrors. He says, "HE PROBABLY THOUGHT HE'D GALLANTLY PROTECT HIS CREW, BUT LOOK AT THIS POOR CAPTAIN!" He orders, "TAKE THE SOLDIERS WITH YOU AND GO SET FIRE TO HIS SHIP OR SOMETHING. APPARENTLY IT'S STILL UNDAMAGED." Brulee answers, "I WILL, BROTHER!" and reports, "SISTER BRULEE! WE FOUND A MIRROR THAT CAN CONNECT TO THE STRAW HATS' SHIP!" There are "ONE OR TWO MORE!" Katakuri adds, "ALRIGHT, LET'S GO! I CAN'T WAIT FOR MAMA TO CRUSH THEM AS THEY RUN ABOUT CONFUSED AND TERRIFIED BY THE FIRE!" Luffy, still exhausted, notices the danger. A mirror near the Sunny almost opens, and he mutters, "THAT WAS CLOSE!" while dodging another attack.

Brulee's group rushes toward the mirrors that connect to the Sunny. Two siblings are identified: "29TH CHARLOTTE DAUGHTER JOSCARPONE" and "34TH CHARLOTTE SON MASCARPONE." They shout, "GIVE ME THAT MIRROR!" and "DON'T YOU DARE LAY A HAND ON THEM!" as they try to seize access to the ship. Luffy crashes into the area and disrupts them, smashing through the mirror-world battlefield with heavy impact. The siblings laugh, "KYAHAAHAHA!" while Katakuri asks, "WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR ONE-ON-ONE, STRAW HAT?" Luffy's answer is action rather than explanation: he cannot let anyone use those mirrors to reach Nami and the crew.

Luffy fights through injury to stop the mirror route. Katakuri says, "YOU'RE THE ONE THAT NEEDS TO STOP," but Luffy forces himself forward with "GHGGHH!" The Charlotte siblings accuse him of "LAYING HANDS ON OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS!" and the mirror world erupts as Luffy smashes the connecting mirrors. Nami's voice reaches him from the Sunny, and Luffy hears, "NAMI!" He sees the mirror path and realizes, "MIRRORS..." The point of his sacrifice becomes concrete: if the mirrors remain intact, enemies can board the Sunny no matter how far the ship sails. Luffy must break them while still holding Katakuri's attention.

Back at sea inside Totland, Nami tries to contact the mirror world. She calls, "JINBE! CAN YOU HEAR ME?" and then, "SOMEONE, RESPOND!" and "LUFFY?!" The Sunny is tossed by the sea as more danger closes in: "WAAAGH! HERE COME MORE!" Nami calls again, "LUFFY! IT'S ME! ARE YOU OKAY?!" She realizes there are still access points aboard: "THERE ARE STILL A FEW MIRRORS LEFT ON BOARD, RIGHT? IN THE MEN'S QUARTERS AND THE BATHROOM!" Luffy answers from the mirror side with the only instruction that will protect them: "BREAK THEM ALL! INTO SMITHEREENS!" The order is painful because it severs communication, but it blocks the enemy's route.

Nami understands the cost immediately and cries, "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?! WE CAN'T! YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO COME BACK!" Luffy answers, "I KNOW, BUT I'LL FIGURE SOMETHING OUT!" Nami says, "I'LL MAKE DO!" On the Sunny, mirror-fire arrows suddenly burst through the remaining mirrors. Someone screams, "WAAAAAGH! THE ROOM'S ON FIRE! WATER! GET WATER!" Another yells, "THIS IS BAD! FIRE ARROWS ARE FLYING OUT OF THE MIRROR!" and "AND CANNONFIRE FROM THE SEAS!" Brook tries to help with "STOP!" while the crew scrambles. Luffy sees the attack and shouts, "YOU BASTARDS!" then throws himself back into the fight. Breaking the mirrors is no longer only a precaution; it is the only way to stop the Sunny from being attacked from inside.

The crisis compounds into a trap from every direction. In the mirror world, Luffy tells Nami, "QUICKLY! BREAK THEM! ALL OF THEM! THEY'RE COMING AFTER YOU! AND I CAN'T STOP THEM ALL!" On the Sunny, Nami calls, "LUFFY! ARE YOU OKAY?!" while the crew prepares to destroy every remaining mirror. At the same time the sea rises into a monstrous wave, and someone cries, "A TSUNAMI?!" The crew realizes, "WE CAN'T OUTRUN THAT..." and the caption frames it as "ABSOLUTE POWER, AND ABSOLUTE DESPAIR!" Nami tries to respond to Luffy, but the sight of the wave overwhelms her. She says, "HEY, LUFFY? I THINK... I'M SORRY." The chapter ends with the Sunny facing both the mirror-world invasion route and a massive wave driven by Big Mom's pursuit.
