At the Dressrosa Smile Factory, the chapter note says Dressrosa has entered its final phase and the only remaining enemies are the top executives. Franky tells the men that this is the facility that made their tribespeople suffer for so long and shouts, "This vile factory! Tear it down!" The dwarves and allies cheer, "Rogeeeer!" and thank Fraland. One says, "Luffy, it's on you now!" as the focus shifts away from the destroyed factory and toward the remaining battles.

On the plateau where the royal palace is located, the aftershocks of Pica's stone body rumble through the city. A fighter says, "Here he comes again!" and others warn, "Watch out!" Pica prepares his "Moon Half" technique, splitting and sending massive stone movement across the battlefield. Zoro watches the attack approach while nearby allies and civilians brace for the impact.

The scene shifts to Level 4, the Sunflower Field, labeled "Kyros vs. Diamante." Pica mocks Zoro, asking whether the genius matador thought a tissue fluttering in the wind would make him the Colosseum's strongest forever, and declares, "Not while I'm around!" Diamante laughs that the current hero of the Colosseum is the great Diamante and that he could care less about titles and honors, though he still flutters when needed. As the ground shakes, Diamante taunts Kyros for running around the country all day and now being forced to fight while protecting his daughter.

Rebecca cries out, "Ah! Father!" as Kyros, already exhausted, faces Diamante. Diamante says Kyros has been running around the country all day and now has to fight on shaking ground while protecting his daughter. Kyros answers that a normal human would have collapsed long ago while standing on one leg, but that Diamante does not need to give him a handicap for his lack of a leg. If Kyros had intended to use his condition as an excuse, he says, he would never have set foot on the battlefield. He declares, "I offered this leg to the man to whom I owe everything! It is my pride and joy!" Diamante laughs that with Kyros's permission he will take advantage of that handicap.

Diamante decides that finishing off a flagging Kyros would be too easy and asks whether they should play a little first. He launches tubes into the air with his fluttering power. Kyros, Robin, and Rebecca look up and wonder what they are. Robin asks whether it is confetti, and another voice says that if one looks closely, a certain something has been fluttered and attached to the scraps of paper. The objects begin to fall back toward the Sunflower Field.

Diamante tells them to try to guess what the confetti really is and announces, "I'm going to release my power now!" With "Flutter Release," the fluttering paper turns into solid, dangerous projectiles. Kyros realizes, "Spiked steel balls!" Diamante admires the falling objects, saying, "Look! How beautiful they are! Almost like stardust!" The beautiful rain of stars becomes a lethal field-wide attack aimed at everyone below.

As the spiked balls fall, the allies realize there is nowhere to run. Rebecca tells the captain to take care, while Leo worries that Robinland and Rebecca have nowhere to escape. Kyros says, "I'll be fine!" and Diamante laughs that the stardust can take out an entire army, making survival next to impossible. Robin says she is glad they are in a sunflower field and apologizes for cutting the beauty short. Diamante shouts, "Writhe and wriggle! It's useless! Adios!" and calls the attack "Death Enjambre." A note explains that enjambre means swarm in Spanish. Robin answers with "Mil Fleur! Flower Umbrella!" forming a giant umbrella of arms to shield Rebecca and the others.

Robin's flower umbrella narrowly blocks the deadly rain, and Leo calls it quick thinking. Diamante asks where Kyros is looking, but Kyros is already moving through the attack. He says, "I am not the captain of the kind of army that would fall prey to an attack of this caliber." Diamante panics as Kyros deflects every incoming spiked ball and charges through the rain. The onlookers shout, "Kyrooooos!" while Diamante asks whether Kyros has lost his mind and realizes the man seems to think he can avoid being hit even in the downpour.

Diamante curses Kyros and fires at him, but Kyros continues forward, bloodied and roaring. Rebecca cries, "Father!" as Kyros cuts and deflects projectiles with rapid "thwack thwack" strikes. Diamante tells Kyros to look above, and the falling spiked balls continue raining down across the sunflower field. Robin's shield holds the others back while Kyros keeps advancing alone through the dangerous rain.

Diamante mocks Kyros for being clumsy and tripping at a time like this. Rebecca screams, "I'll never forgive you! Curse you, Diamante!" and Leo warns her not to stop because the projectiles are still falling. Rebecca calls Diamante an unforgivable coward. Diamante laughs, telling Rebecca not to forgive him and to fight, saying he will end her with the very hand he used to kill her mother. Rebecca says the umbrella is at its limit and asks Robin to let go of her so she can get him, while Robin holds her back.

Kyros, soaked in blood, rises under the falling spikes and tells Rebecca, "This is my fight, Rebecca! Drop... that sword!" Rebecca remembers her mother's wish and the promise she made not to hurt people. She remembers the Colosseum jeers asking how she could win without touching her opponent and calling her the undefeated woman, a shame to all gladiators, and a pathetic match. Kyros says Rebecca has honored her mother's wish and that, for the past ten years, she has not wounded a single opponent.

Diamante screams for Rebecca and her inhuman family to die, calling their blood filthy. Kyros says that despite having stood in the Colosseum, Rebecca has not wounded a single person and that her hands are still beautiful. He tells her that her mother Scarlett lives on in those hands. As Rebecca weeps, Kyros turns back to Diamante and declares that Diamante shall not dirty those hands. He says, "With the blood of this wretch, I shall not suffer you to swing a sword!" and attacks while Diamante shouts his name.

Diamante asks whether Kyros's body is made of steel. The little toy-soldier memory answers that pain is proof of humanity and that people like Diamante could never comprehend it. Diamante decides Kyros is not made of steel but pure insanity. Rebecca wonders whether Kyros recognizes her now, while Kyros says he cannot even feel the warmth of Rebecca's dying body. He tells Diamante that he cannot comprehend the despair of being forgotten by loved ones or the agony of being unable to feel whatever he touches.

Kyros says that compared with the countless tragedies that have blanketed Dressrosa, the deadly rain is nothing. He calls himself this country's anger embodied and vows, "I shall take you down!" Diamante, terrified by Kyros's power, asks what the man is. Kyros tells Diamante not to make the mistake of looking down on his swordsmanship and says Diamante's glory days were over twenty years ago. He closes in through the field of spiked balls.

The rain of spikes stops, and Diamante laughs that Kyros is still standing, calling him a bloody monster. He says that if Kyros wants to die so badly, he will kill him in an instant just like Scarlett. Flashbacks show people asking what the pirate has done to the country and its king, the palace on fire, Scarlett telling Kyros to take Rebecca because she is his daughter, and Kyros promising to have Diamante return their peace. Diamante says only a fool would not dodge his next move and attacks with "Moon Half." Kyros replies that he has no intention of dodging.

Kyros faces Diamante's attack head-on and unleashes "Trueno Bastard," with a note explaining it means thunder destruction sword in Spanish. He cuts through Diamante's sword and strikes him down while the finishing note says, "A flash of anger! Cut through evil!" Rebecca watches in tears. The page marks "ONE PIECE Ch. 776 END," ending the chapter on Kyros's decisive blow against Diamante.
