On a tropical island with rocky cliffs and palm trees, Luffy sits bandaged and determined. A voice says, "WELL... WHATEVER, THANKS FOR TAKING THEM OFF." Another comments, "MEN ARE SUCH STRANGE CREATURES...!!!" and questions, "HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE FRILLSI" Luffy yells passionately, "AS LONG AS WE'RE ALIVE, WE CAN FIGHT THEM AS MANY TIMES AS WE NEED...!!!!" and adds, "IF THEY'RE ALL ALIVE LIKE I AM... THEN EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE!!!" He continues, "IF I DON'T MEET UP WITH MY FRIENDS, I WON'T BE ABLE TO CALM DOWN. WELL THEN, I'LL BE ON MY WAY." Someone notes, "YOU LOOK RESTLESS." Luffy grins and declares, "WE'LL SURPASS THEM ALL!!!" while nearby figures react with intense expressions and sound effects like "ガチッ" and "ムキッ".

Luffy continues speaking with a woman who has long light hair. She says, "YOU REALLY ARE RESTLESS, HUH..." Luffy replies, "AH!! WILL YOU GIVE ME A BOAT!I" as he leaps dramatically with motion lines and sound effects "バキバキッ" and "ズドン". He shouts, "UWOO OOHH!!!" and declares, "THAT WAY, I'LL GET STRONGER!!!" and "ALL RIGHT, I'M GOING ALL THE WAY TO THE SHABONDY ARCHIPELAGO WHILE WALKING ON MY HANDS!!!" The woman observes, "THIS IS... THE CALM BELT!!I" and notes, "YOU DON'T HAVE ANY BOATS!I" She explains the danger: "EVEN IF BY SOME MIRACLE A CASTAWAY REACHES THE ISLAND... BY THE TIME THEY WASH UP, THEY'RE JUST A CORPSE." Luffy asks, "BUT DIDN'T YOU'VE GOT A PIRATE CREWI" She replies, "THAT'S WHY SAILORS NEVER COME BY." The scene shows the island surrounded by massive sea kings with the narration, "GIANT SEA KINGS LIVE IN THE WATERS AROUND THE ISLAND. THAT'S RIGHT, THIS ISLAND OF WOMEN IS IN THE CALM BELT."

A Kuja woman explains the unique vessel of Amazon Lily. "LADY HEBIHIME'S PIRATE SHIP IS DRAWN BY FEROCIOUS BEASTS CALLED 'YUDA.' THEY'RE POISONOUS SEA SNAKES, SO EVEN SEA KINGS WON'T ATTACK. THAT IS THE ONE AND ONLY SHIP IN AMAZON LILY." The massive ship, pulled by enormous serpentine Yuda, begins to break apart in the storm. Luffy shouts excitedly, "ALL RIGHT!! I'LL MAKE A PADDLE OUT!!!" while a terrified companion yells, "YOU'RE NOT EVEN THINKING TWICE!!!" The woman worries, "THAT'S A PROBLEM-...!!! THERE'S NO WIND... MAYBE I SHOULD MAKE A RAFT AND PADDLE OUTI THAT'S STUPID!" The vessel shatters violently. "GYAAA AAAH... THAT'S TERRIBLE!!! IT'S ALREADY COMING APART!!!" Luffy triumphantly declares, "DONE!!!" as wreckage and Yuda scatter across the waves.

Washed ashore, Luffy lies unconscious while the Kuja woman tends to a small snake. She thinks, "IF ONLY YOU COULD RUN FAR, FAR AWAY...... I'M THE ONE IN TROUBLE HERE...! THIS IS BAD... IF ONLY FRANKY WAS HERE... AHH, THAT WAS CLOSE, DAMN IT!... I'M NOT OBLIGATED TO HELP YOU...! CAN YOU 'MEN' EVEN SWIMI" Luffy suddenly wakes and grabs at her. "HEY, STOP THAT!!!" She recoils, warning, "IF I GET TOO FRIENDLY WITH YOU, THEN I MIGHT GET ATTACHED." Luffy is hurled backward by an unseen force. "EH...I WAH!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!I" The woman stands over him, cloak billowing.

Luffy recognizes the incoming arrows. "THOSE ARROWS!! IT'S THE SAME AS WHEN THEY WERE CHASING ME EARLIER...! THEY WERE BREAKING THROUGH STONE WALLS... THEY'VE GOT A HUGE AMOUNT OF POWER." The Kuja woman asks, "HAKII THESE ARROWS ARE INFUSED WITH 'HAKI,' OF COURSE THEY'RE POWERFUL!! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUTI" Luffy wonders, "BUT THE ARROWS DON'T LOOK LIKE ANYTHING SPECIAL." A Kuja elder cries out in alarm, "MARGARET, THE TALE OF 'ARE YOU HURT ANYWHEREI' WAH, CRAP!! EVERYONE!!! WE'VE FOUND THEM!!! MARGARET IS UNINJURED!! THE 'MAN' IS THERE TOO!!! TAKE HIM!!!" Warriors fire volleys of Haki-infused arrows while Margaret stands unharmed amid the chaos. "EH!I"

A Marine ship approaches the island. A crewman reports, "YEAH, WE WERE JUST ATTACKED...! EVEN THOUGH OUR SHIP IS PLATED WITH KAIROUSEKI, YOU CERTAINLY ARE BRAVE, STOPPING IN THE MIDDLE OF A SEA FULL OF MONSTERS." A sign reads, "Calm Belt, the seas around the Island of Women." The captain states, "WE ARE FORBIDDEN TO COME WITHIN THREE KILOMETERS OF THE ISLAND OF WOMEN'S COAST. IT'S NOT EASY FOR US, BUT... IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AGREEMENT THE GOVERNMENT HAS WITH THE 'KUJA,' WE HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO WAIT FOR YOU HERE, IN THE MIDST OF THESE SEA MONSTER NESTS. IF WE STAY HERE TOO LONG THEY'LL SPOT US AGAIN." The captain adds, "WELL, EVEN OUR CANNONS DIDN'T HAVE MUCH EFFECT..." A short-haired woman aboard replies, "AND DID YOU FINISH OFF THAT SEA KINGI" Crew members react in shock, "I'VE HEARD THAT THE 'KUJA' ARE MONSTERS WHO CAN TURN MEN INTO STONE. THAT'S RIDICULOUS..."

Marine warships approach the Kuja ship on the open sea. A voice declares, "YES, IT SEEMS YOU ARE QUITE STRONG...!!" Another replies, "SO I SLICED HIM OPEN FROM THE INSIDE OUT. I'D LIKE TO LEAVE THIS SEA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE." Vice Admiral Momonga appears in close-up, glaring, and announces, "I AM VICE ADMIRAL MOMONGA OF MARINE HEADQUARTERS!!!" He continues, "WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU, AND NOW YOU'VE FINALLY COME BACK, KUJA PIRATES!!" In a dramatic splash panel, Momonga shouts across the waves at the Kuja vessel, "ROYAL SHICHIBUKAI, 'PIRATE EMPRESS' BOA HANCOCK!! SHOW YOUR FACE!! WE'VE COME TO RETRIEVE YOU!!!" The Kuja ship sails forward under cloudy skies as the Marines close in.

On the Kuja ship, several warriors react to the Marines. One laughs, "WATCH THAT LAUGH OF YOURS! ZAHA HAHA!!!" Another says, "IT'S BEEN A WHILE SINCE I'VE SEEN A LIVING MAN. WHEN THEY SEE THE KUJA FLAG, PIRATES AND MERCHANTS BOTH GO RUNNING IN THEIR BOATS!" A third adds, "WE'VE TOLD YOU A THOUSAND TIMES!" The small figure of Elder Nyon stands among them. A woman with short black hair holds up a newspaper reading "THIS MORNING'S PAPER..." while a voice states, "SORRY, LADY HEBIHIME WON'T BE COMING OUT." Another retorts, "MEN, MEN! ANIMALS WITH NO DIGNITY!!!" Below deck, Momonga declares, "THE LOCATION AND DATE OF HIS EXECUTION HAVE BEEN SET!! THERE IS NO TURNING BACK NOW!!" A Marine adds, "WHITEBEARD PIRATES, SECOND UNIT COMMANDER PORTGAS D. ACE..."

Momonga warns from the deck, "IF YOU REFUSE, OUR TREATY WILL BE BROKEN!! YOUR 'SHICHIBUKAI' TITLE WILL BE REVOKED!!!" He adds, "THIS TIME, THE SHICHIBUKAI ARE UNDER THE STRICTEST ORDERS TO ASSEMBLE!!!" A Marine is kicked aside with "KITTEN IN MY PATH!! FUGYAAAHH!!!" Inside a lavish room, a small cat-like creature labeled with sound effects "NURA NURA" and "IP!" lies on a cushion beside a newspaper. A Marine asks, "CAN YOU HEAR ME, BOA HANCOCK!!!I" while another wonders, "... JUST WHO WAS IT..." The crew reacts in shock as a tall figure descends the stairs. Voices cry out, "TH... THAT'S THE PIRATE EMPRESS...!!!" "SHE'S TRULY A BEAUTY WITHOUT EQUAL...!!!" Momonga orders, "DON'T LET YOUR GUARD DOWN, MEN!!!" and "WATCH YOURSELF..." as Boa Hancock appears.

Boa Hancock stands tall on the deck in an ornate black-and-white outfit, flanked by her sisters. She states, "BUT, I WOULD RATHER NOT RELINQUISH MY POSITION AS A SHICHIBUKAI...!!!" A voice notes, "THAT RESPONSE FROM THE OTHER DAY WAS A FAKE!! WE WILL NOT BE GOING TO WAR!!" Another adds, "AND YOUR SHIP'S CARGO... I WOULD LIKE THAT AS WELL.!!I" The Gorgon Sisters are formally introduced with plaques: "Gorgon Sisters, Second Daughter Boa Sandersonia", "Amazon Lily Empress Captain of the Kuja Pirates Royal Shichibukai 'The Empress' Boa Hancock", and "Gorgon Sisters, Youngest Daughter Boa Marigold". Hancock continues, "SO YOU MEDDLESOME MEN HAVE FINALLY COME FOR ME..."

High above a massive arena packed with spectators, a furious voice bellows, "WHAT KIND OF SPOILED LITTLE BRAT ARE YOU!!I DO YOU REALLY THINK WE'LL GRANT YOUR UNREASONABLE DESIRES!!" A large, shadowy figure with a wide hat and long tongue reacts in shock, "THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!!" Below, a Marine officer with a "MARINE" cap stares in horror as hearts swirl around him. "OH NO, I SUDDENLY STARTED DOING WHAT SHE TOLD ME!!" he cries while another Marine shouts, "HAH!! WHY ARE YOU BRINGING OUT THE CARGO!!I OPEN YOUR EYES!!!" Onlookers leer at a beautiful woman, calling "WHAT A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN. COME ON, HURRY! I WANT TO GIVE HER ANYTHING SHE WANTS." In a grand hall lined with crossed swords, a stern man with a topknot and scar declares, "FIRE FIST ACE'S LIFE WILL END! AT THE PLAZA IN THE TOWN OF MARINEFORD, OWNED BY MARINE HEADQUARTERS, THE EXECUTION WILL BE EXACTLY ONE WEEK FROM TODAY!!"

From the towering heights of Marineford, a cloaked figure with an elaborate headdress shouts, "WHITEBEARD WILL DEFINITELY MAKE HIS MOVE!!! IN OTHER WORDS, WITHIN THIS WEEK!!" Three women with ornate headpieces discuss the crisis: "OR ASSEMBLE WITH THE OTHERS!! THOSE ARE YOUR CHOICES!!!" "EITHER LOSE YOUR SHICHIBUKAI TITLE" "THE TIME IS DRAWING NEAR!!!" A Marine admiral with a topknot and scar roars, "ARE PREPARING TO MARSHAL ALL OF OUR FORCES TO FACE WHITEBEARD!! MARINE HEADQUARTERS, HEADED BY OUR THREE ADMIRALS." Boa Hancock stands calmly in the foreground, stating, "SO HOW ABOUT THIS...I IN A MYSTERIOUS INCIDENT... THE MARINES WHO WERE SENT TO RETRIEVE ME HAD THEIR BODIES TURNED TO STONE AND WERE COMPLETELY DESTROYED... I LIKE MY POSITION AS A SHICHIBUKAI, I WOULD HATE TO HAVE IT REVOKED... The Marine admiral with the scar yells in alarm, "SHE'S PLANNING SOMETHING!!! DON'T SHOW ANY WEAKNESS!!" while soldiers with rifles react in panic. He continues, "DON'T THINK WE'LL GRANT YOUR SELFISH DEMANDS!!" A sweating Marine reports, "WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A MAN, CARRYING ONLY STRANGE STONE STATUES! I'VE HEARD RUMORS ABOUT THE KUJA PIRATES. ALL THE SHIPS THAT ATTACK THE KUJA SHIP ARE LATER FOUND..." Two women with flower crowns reply, "AND THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT...!!!" "YES... BUT SHE IS ALWAYS FORGIVEN." Boa Hancock towers over the admiral, declaring, "THE WORLD WILL ALWAYS FORGIVE ME...!!! AND THAT IS BECAUSE, DO YOU KNOW WHYI NO MATTER WHAT I DO, WHETHER I KICK A KITTEN... RIP OFF YOUR EARS... OR EVEN KILL PEOPLE IN COLD BLOOD..." as hearts and the sound effect "SUTAN!" fill the air around her.

Boa Hancock stands with a serene yet powerful expression, hands clasped, as she proclaims, "BEAUTIFUL!!!" and "INDEED, I AM" while the sound effect "ふぅ..." drifts nearby. Men in the background collapse in ecstasy, hearts exploding around them as they cry "KYAAA!♥" and "KYAAA!♥ LADY HEBIHIME ~~♥" One Marine desperately shouts, "STOP THAT, MEN!!!" The narration notes "*THE SFX FOR FALLING MADLY IN LOVE*" Hancock activates her power with "MELLOW!!!" and "MERO MERO**" sending heart-shaped shockwaves that petrify victims. The Marine admiral stares in shock, "!I" as Hancock finishes, "WILL PETRIFY YOUR BODIES...!! GUILTY HEARTS, CHARMED BY MY BEAUTY...!!"

The Kuja soldiers erupt in frenzied adoration, hearts floating everywhere as they scream and raise their weapons. "KYAAA, HANCO-...!!!" A massive heart-shaped shockwave erupts from the center. "KACHSSSS..." The soldiers are flung backward, some already turning to stone. In the middle of the chaos stands Boa Hancock, cloak billowing, her back to the viewer. A soldier gasps, "...!!!" Another cries, "!!!" The final panels show Hancock facing a long-haired woman. "BUT THERE IS NOTHING LEFT OF YOUR SOLDIERS." The woman replies, "A SIGN OF EXPERIENCE." Hancock continues, "I SEE... YOU USED PAIN TO ERASE YOUR IMPURE FEELINGS." A close-up reveals a trembling, sweat-covered hand gripping a weapon.

A close-up shows the sweating, terrified face of a man. "ONE... IS NOT ZERO." Hancock stands tall in the background as the man sweats heavily, muttering, "YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE NOW," and "THE FOOLS..." The scene shifts to the Kuja ship at sea. "BOA HANCOCK!!!" The snake sisters cry out, "YES!! LADY HEBIHIME!!" and "LET US RETURN TO OUR PEACEFUL AMAZON LILY!!" Hancock, seen in profile, says, "DO AS YOU PLEASE." The man, still sweating, warns, "I WILL NOT LEAVE EMPTY-HANDED. IF YOU DO NOT RETURN WITHIN TWO DAYS... THE TREATY WILL BE BROKEN." Hancock replies firmly, "I WILL WAIT HERE UNTIL THE DEADLINE PASSES!!!"
