A massive sea creature looms over the ocean, its enormous jaws clamped around a pirate ship. The beast's body stretches across the waves with heavy, ominous motion lines as it crunches the vessel. SFX: ゴゴゴゴオオオオ. A small circular bubble reads CRUNCH... CRUNCH.... From the deck, a voice cries out, "JUST STAAAA-AAAAAP!" Another speaker notes, "Looks so, since you can see the air pipes sticking out of its mouth." On the right side of the page, a short-haired woman stares in shock, hands raised, exclaiming, "Really get swallowed whole along with the shipI" A panicked close-up face shouts back, "DON'T STATE IT SO BLUNTLY!"

Inside a room, Nami stands with a guilty expression while Usopp points accusingly. A large speech bubble declares, "YOU TOLD'EM THEY'D BE COMPLETELY SAFE WITHOUT A SHRED OF EVIDENCE...!" Usopp yells, "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT FOR SENDING THEM TO THE SEA FLOOR OF THE GRAND FREAKIN' LINE!" Nami replies quietly, "I... guess you're right..." The scene cuts to a frantic close-up of Nami's face as she shouts, "MY BAD, GUYS!" with SFX ドキ. She adds, "GUILT-FREE!" and "THAT APOLOGY JUST AIN'T RIGHT...!" Below, Robin watches calmly from the deck as Nami cuts thick ropes with a blade. SFX: ガアアアアア. Nami says, "Well, this is to be expected. If we don't cut the lines..." The ropes snap with a loud TWANG!

Chaos erupts on the ship as the massive creature drags it downward. A desperate voice shouts, "Robin! You're strong, aren't youI! Can't you do something!I" Robin answers, "That's... far too big for me to handle." SFX: ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ. Masira's crew panics: "...They're right!" "THE BOSS IS STILL ALIVE! DON'T LOSE HOPE!" "C'MON, BOYS! REEL IN THE ROPES! WE'VE GOTTA SAVE OUR BOSS! OUR PRIDE AS THE MASIRA PIRATES IS AT STAKE!" with SFX UKIKIKI! and UKIKIKI! One crewman yells, "It's times like these that show we've gotta show our teamwork!" Below, Usopp appears with a determined pose, shouting "USOPP!" while crew members react in terror: "AGHHHH! IT'S THE DEVIL!" "ARE YOU THE DEVIL INCARNATEI" "Cut the ropes and secure our safety!" "AYE, AYE!"

A close-up shows Masira's shocked face, eyes wide and mouth open, with SFX ゴゴゴゴ and a small "Huh!I" bubble. The view widens to reveal the giant sea turtle-like creature floating calmly on the water's surface, the ship now tiny beside its massive shell. Inside the Going Merry's cabin, Nami, Usopp, and Chopper panic as darkness suddenly engulfs the ship. Nami shouts, "It's nowhere near nighttime right now!" Usopp cries, "It can't be..." Chopper yells, "THE DAY TURNED TO NIGHT!I" Usopp screams in terror, "JUST WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!I LUUUUFFYYY! ZOOOOKRROOO! SAAAAANJIIII!" On deck, the crew spots a massive structure ahead. Sanji yells, "We're gonna sink if we stay here!" "Let's hurry up and rescue boss!" Robin stares in shock, thinking, "I-it's an... O-o-omen! They say monsters appear when day suddenly changes to night." A close-up shows her with a question mark above her head. Below, Luffy is violently expelled from a giant creature's mouth in a spray of water and debris. Someone shouts, "Luffy!I" as the creature's silhouette looms.

On the deck of the Going Merry, the crew scrambles as the giant creature attacks. Sanji orders, "Lower the sail! We gotta get the hell outta here!" Zoro and Sanji stand ready while Usopp and Chopper react in panic. Luffy, still dazed, asks, "Luffy! What's wrong!I Are you dead!I" Someone notes, "He means trouble...!" In the next panels, Sanji explains the situation: "But once he saw the goods we collected from the wreckage, he went berserk! 'Cause they're both monkeys. He was getting along with Luffy for a moment. He must be some queer type of underwater creature. TurtleI No, I'm talking about the monkey we ran across underwater!" Usopp panics, "Like a mad gorilla!" The salvager Masira appears, shouting, "YES, WE NEED TO ESCAPE FROM THAT TURTLE ASAP! THANK GOD YOU'RE SAFE!" Chopper wonders, "No wonder you guys managed to get outta there... HmI Something's up with that turtle. It's mouth is hanging open..." The crew stares at the massive turtle-like ship in the water as someone asks, "What turtleI TurtleI But I'm surprised how you managed to escape the turtle's mouth. That'd be Masira, the salvager!"

The giant sea creature looms over the ship, its massive jaws open. Usopp yells, "NOW you notice!I YOU WERE SWALLOWED WHOLE BY IT WITH THE SHIP JUST NOW!" Luffy stares up in shock, shouting, "WHOA! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!I" On deck, the crew struggles with the sail. Someone calls, "Luffy! Help us get the sail down!" Luffy looks confused, asking, "Why's it night all of a suddenI HuhI" He sticks out his tongue and laughs, "PFAHH!" The creature's enormous foot slams down onto the ship with a massive impact, cracking the deck. Masira roars, "YOU LOW-LIVES!" while the crew yells, "HOLD IT RIGHT THERE!"

Masira bursts through the wreckage in a rage, fists raised, roaring, "YOU THINK YOU CAN WALTZ RIGHT INTO MY TERRITORY, STEAL MY TREASURES AND JUST GET AWAY!I" Debris flies everywhere as the salvager towers over the crew. Sanji grimaces, "This is bad, we can't let him go berserk on our deck...!" Luffy grins widely and laughs, "Hee hee! Found a whole bunch!" Nami reacts with surprise, "Treasure!I You found treasure!I" Masira growls, "DRAW..." while Luffy and Nami continue their excited exchange. In the background, someone mutters, "...HmmI" A crew member looks confused, "WhatI" Suddenly the ship shakes violently as Masira rampages, sending the crew flying. Someone screams, "GAHH... B... B... BOSS! W-W-W... WATCH OUT!"

Luffy's face fills the panel, eyes wide and mouth agape in shock with heavy sweat drops flying. Nearby on the deck, Nami, Usopp, and other crew members react with alarm as a massive sea creature rises from the waves. The monster's enormous head emerges beside the ship, jaws open wide with rows of sharp teeth. Loud rumbling SFX "ゴゴゴゴ" shake the panels. A small monkey-like figure clings to the ship's railing as the vessel rocks violently. The creature's scaly body towers over everything, water splashing wildly. Crew members shout in panic while the monster's presence dominates the scene.

Three massive silhouetted figures stand waist-deep in the ocean, each holding weapons including a spear and large rectangular shields. They loom over the tiny ship and the sea monster below. The creature floats on the surface, its head turned upward. Impact SFX and motion lines fill the water around the giants' feet. The distant ship appears minuscule against the towering silhouettes and churning waves.

A winged silhouette swings a spear with dramatic motion lines and "ゴゴゴゴ" SFX. In the distance, several small figures stand on the water's surface. The bottom panel erupts with a massive speech bubble as Luffy and the crew scream in unison: "MOOOONNSTEERRRSSS!" Their faces are contorted in terror, eyes bulging and mouths stretched wide. The ship lurches violently through the waves with barrels flying and motion lines streaking across the deck. A large crew member in a black hat and another in a vest grip the railing tightly as the vessel tilts. Below, the sea churns with massive splashes and the monster's presence implied by the chaos. Distant panels show the ship being tossed amid roaring waves and debris.

On the open sea under scattered clouds, a small ship sails as voices react in shock. "COO" "COO" cry the birds overhead. "Yeah... Can't believe how huge those things were..." someone murmurs. "I can't believe it..." another voice stammers amid heavy breathing. "HUFF... HUFF..." The crew recounts the bizarre events in a rapid panel sequence. Usopp sweats heavily, recalling, "And then some weird monkey shows up to salvage the ship." Nami leans forward tensely, "The log pose started pointing up..." Sanji glares upward, "A huge galleon drops down from the sky..." He lights a cigarette, adding, "...Today's been one hell of a strange day." Usopp continues with wide eyes, "Yeahh... That last bit sure gave me a scare..." Luffy shouts in disbelief, "And finally, those monsters tens of times larger than giants appeared!" Robin rests her chin on her hand calmly as night falls in the narration, "Day became night..." Chopper, in his hat, finishes the tale, "But a huuuuge turtle swallowed the sunken ship whole..."

Inside a massive ruined structure, the crew sits scattered amid debris and broken pillars. A large "ぶう……" sound effect rumbles as they stare in stunned silence. Suddenly the scene erupts into violent motion. Luffy is sent flying backward with a "GAAH!" as a powerful kick lands. A furious voice roars, "GET THE HELL OFF!" The attacker’s leg stretches dramatically with impact lines and speed effects, sending Luffy tumbling through the air while others react in alarm around the collapsing surroundings.
