In the lower section, Emporio Ivankov lists infamous Level 6 inmates: "The most evil woman in the history of piracy, Catarina Devon... The gigantic battleship, San Juan Wolf... the Drinker, Basco Shot... Pirates who would make you shiver just by hearing their names... I hadn't even heard of that...!! The scene shifts to a wider view of the room filled with Newkama prisoners. Ivankov declares, "CAPTAIN OF THE WHITEBEARD PIRATES 2ND SQUAD, PORTGAS D. ACE!! AND THE MAN THAT THE STRAWHAT BOY MUST BE AFTER, EHH!I" A voice notes, "HAHAHA, I SUPPOSE SO... AND THERE'S ALSO THE SHICHI-BUKAI, THE 'KNIGHT OF THE SEA,' JIMBEI." Ivankov laughs, "FRIENDSHIP HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT!!" while prisoners react wildly with impact lines and "ばー!!" "ばー!!" sounds. Someone reports, "WE HEARD THE GUARDS SAY THAT THEY WERE BROTHERS." Later panels show Ivankov checking a clock and worrying, "HE'S GOT TO WORRY ABOUT HIS OWN LIFE FIRST...!!! IT'S ALREADY PAST MIDNIGHT... ACE BOY'S EXECUTION IS SCHEDULED FOR TODAY AT 3 P.M... SO THEY'LL NEED TO MOVE HIM TO MARINE HQ IN THE MORNING..." A Newkama adds, "NFUFU...! BY THE TIME HE WAKES UP, IT'LL ALL BE OVER." A large skull clock shows the time with "カチャ" sounds. Inazuma reacts in shock, "WAIT... STRAW-CHAN'S BODY NEEDS TO HOLD UP... Ivankov suddenly shouts, "I'LL BE AT STRAW-CHAN'S ROOM!!!" and dashes off with motion lines and "クゥ!!" A Newkama replies, "...!!!" while another says, "... HEY, GIVE IT UP, GUY..." Ivankov insists, "I DON'T THINK IT'S VERY LIKELY..." as a group of Newkama including Usakkov and others gather. One offers, "WE'LL SHOW YOU TO A QUIET ROOM. EAT SOMETHING AT THE TABLE AND THEN GO TO SLEEP." A worried Newkama asks, "... WH... WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO!I"

Luffy's agonized scream echoes through the tunnels: "GUWAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" with massive sound effects. Newkama on Level 5.5 cheer desperately, "LIVE!! STRAW-CHAN!!" "DON'T GIVE UP!!!" "COME ON!!! STRAW-CHAN!!!" while others yell "LIVE!!" "DON'T GIVE UP!!" "COME ON!!" Inazuma, fully bandaged like a mummy, stands with arms raised shouting encouragement amid "うわああああ" cries. Explosive impact lines and "グオオオオ" fill the panels as Luffy writhes in pain. A sign reading "Level 3" appears in the background. One Newkama cries, "THIS ONE OKAMA!!I" as the crowd continues their frantic support with more "ピシッ!!" and "ピシッ!!" effects. The desperate cheering and Luffy's screams dominate the chaotic scene.

Seven hours later, the celebration erupts in Newkama Land with "ガンバレ!! ガンバレ!! ガンバレ!! ガンバレ!!" cheers as the crowd dances wildly. The scene cuts to Level 6 where Jinbe stands before a large cell door. Flashback panels show a young man with long dark hair sweating heavily as voices recall, "EVER SINCE WE WERE KIDS... HE'S ALWAYS MAKING US WORRY.... THAT IDIOT...!!! THAT'S THE KIND OF BROTHER HE IS... THAT'S THE KIND OF RECKLESS CRAP HE PULLS...!!!" SFX: ゼ... ゼ... Eight hours later, Sadi-chan stands in uniform reporting, "IS SET TO BE TRANSFERRED. PORTGAS D. ACE, ON DEATH ROW, I'M BUSY!! THEN I'LL MAKE IT QUICK." A guard greets, "WARDEN MAGELLAN, GOOD MORNING." In the massive cavern of Level 5.5, a towering figure with a spiked helmet looms over a crowd of prisoners as narration notes the pain never stops during recovery. A prisoner cries out in agony, "HIS VOICE... THE PAIN NEVER STOPS WHILE THEY'RE RECOVERING...!!! SO IF HE'S STOPPED SCREAMING AND TWO DAYS HAVEN'T PASSED... BLOOD..." A colossal blast erupts from the center of the cavern, the massive gate exploding outward in a ring of fire and debris. Enormous letters dominate the page: "FOOOOOO-OOOOOOOD!!!" The shockwave hurls prisoners through the air as they scream in terror and recognition. "IT...!!! IT CAN'T BE!! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!I IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN A FULL DAY!!! STRAWHAT BOY!!! UWOO-OOOHH!!!
