Tom's Workers

Inside a large, cluttered indoor space with high ceilings and hanging chains, several figures react to an arrival. Voices discuss: "Really... he usually uses the front door at the top..." "What's he doing here all the way from the 'sea side'I" "Someone's here... probably Zanbai and the others." A bell rings "DING DING". Two women converse closely; one with an afro and sunglasses smiles while the other with glasses and a fur collar says, "Maybe he brought the Straw Hat with him." In the lower panels, Franky appears agitated, declaring "I already told you that. They won't come, we're not friends anymore." Another character snaps back, "I forgot that we were using you as bait to lure out Straw Hat!!" Franky reacts with shock: "Oh yeah!!"

The scene continues with tension around the entrance. A woman with an afro shouts, "Alright, alright, we're coming!" while another wonders, "---I Why isn't he coming inI" Bells continue to ring "DING DING". A long-haired man with a stern expression stares silently with "......". Outside near a damaged ship structure, a figure says, "----- should go back to your friends." Two speech bubbles address someone: "You..." "Hey kid...". Franky argues heatedly in close-up: "If you know that the ship can't go on, the problem is already solved!!" "It's been resolved...!!" He continues, "I fought with the captain...!! I can't do that now." The cyborg replies, "Alright! Shut up will ya!" with more "DING DING!!" sounds as the group debates the unresolved ship problem.

Franky erupts in anger, yelling "DON'T BUTT IN!!! THIS IS MY PROBLEM!!!!" while gesturing wildly. He insists, "Yeah, and I'm saying I'll solve the problem for you. Be glad!!!" and recalls, "When I went to destroy the ship...!!! Think about it!! I was just thinking of what's best for you..." A calm voice responds, "Leave it with me. I'll take care of it however you like." Franky points dramatically and shouts, "Don't you get it!!I This is troubling for the ship too!!! The day it sinks with you on board... It's never gonna die, y'know!I It's not gonna go to heaven!!! The ship liked you enough to show its human form." In smaller panels a small creature protests, "I'm not!! This is the subject!!!" while another says, "You're changing the subject!" Franky continues desperately, "You'd tell him 'It's ok, you can die now'!!I" and "So, if you had a friend who was dying..."

A fishman-like man and a spiky-haired fighter react in shock as a curly-haired woman crashes down onto the tiled floor with a loud THUD. "HUH!I" "!I" the two exclaim. In the next sequence the fishman twists violently, shouting "MOZU!!! BRO..." while impact lines and "!!!" mark the strike. The long-legged woman in fishnet stockings and high heels appears, her powerful kick sending debris flying as she yells "KIWI!!!" The spiky-haired man is knocked back amid motion lines and "!I" reactions.

Close-ups show the fishman-like man gasping "WHA..." and the spiky-haired man glaring "!I" as a distant view reveals the curly-haired woman sprawled on the ground. "WHO IS IT ~~~!!!" someone shouts. The long-legged woman in fishnets stands confidently among suited men, one hand on her hip. "THE GIRLS WOULDN'T LET US IN..." she states. A bearded man in a bowler hat replies, "SORRY TO INTERRUPT..."

The fishman-like man and spiky-haired man stare in disbelief. "THE GALLEY-LA SECRETARY...!!!!" The long-legged woman launches a devastating high kick, her heel striking the spiky-haired man squarely. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE!!!" she demands amid heavy impact lines and "!!!I" reactions. The suited men watch from the background as the blow connects with explosive force.

The spiky-haired man yells "WHAT'RE YOU DOING DRESSED LIKE THATIII" while the fishman-like man adds "BLUE ~~~ NO ~~~I!!" The long-legged woman delivers a powerful punch, sending the spiky-haired man flying with "AUGH!!!!" The fishman-like man questions "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE SELLING A FIGHT TO...!!!" The spiky-haired man retorts, "CHEEKY, AREN'T WE...!!! WHO DO YOU THINK I AM" as the fight intensifies.

A man in a top hat with a pigeon on his shoulder leans in and says, "HEY HEY." Nearby, a large bull-headed man reacts with surprise. "OH!I HEY..." A voice notes, "YOU'RE KINDA DIFFERENT TODAY." Another adds, "YOU'RE USUALLY THE SLOW-BAR-TENDER..." The bull-headed man grunts, "GRNG..." A gloved hand points sharply. In a sudden burst of motion, the top-hatted man lunges forward, shouting, "STOP IT, BLUENO!!!" A massive impact erupts with a giant "V" shape and flying debris as the bull-headed man is struck hard. The woman nearby is sent flying amid motion lines and impact stars. The scene ends with bodies tumbling across the ground amid large "X" and "Z" sound effects.

Shocked voices fill the air: "WHAT...!I" "AREN'T THEY THE GUYS FROM THE SHIPYARD...!!!" "UHI!I HEY!! AREN'T YOU, LIKE, STRONG!!!I" "WHAT THE HE......!I" A figure apologizes, "..... SORRY..." Another yells, "IDIOT!!" and questions, "WHAT GOOD IS IT IF YOU KILL HIM NOWI" Four close-up portraits appear: the top-hatted man, a blonde woman with glasses, the bull-headed man, and a man in a cap. The top-hatted man mutters names under his breath: "AND EVEN 'MOUNTAIN MONKEY'..." "THE SECRETARY..." "BLUENO...!!!" "THE GALLEY-LA PIGEON BOY..." In a large panel, Franky stands dramatically in his secret hideout, arms spread, declaring, "THIS IS MY SECRET HIDEOUT!!!" He demands, "HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THIS PLACEI" The top-hatted man replies, "LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO MY LITTLE SISTERS. THEY'RE NOT EVEN READY TO WED YET." Franky answers, "THANKS A LOT FOR ACTING SO SUPER..." A voice observes, "WHAT KIND OF GROUP IS THIS... YOU ALL LOOK SO SERIOUS."

A close-up of the top-hatted man reveals, "OUR LIVES IN THE CITY ARE ALL FAKE..." "WE'RE ACTUALLY SPIES FOR THE WORLD GOVERNMENT...!!!!" He continues, "I DON'T CARE ABOUT LITTLE THINGS LIKE THAT..." and "I'LL EXPLAIN BRIEFLY... SO LISTEN." In the background, several figures stand near a stone building. The top-hatted man states, "AND THE REASON WE'RE HERE." A large panel shows the bull-headed man reacting in shock, "YOU PROBABLY KNOW THE MEANING OF THAT..." "THE WORLD...!!!!" "YOU!!I" Another panel features the top-hatted man confronting Franky directly: "YOUR REAL NAME IS 'CUTTY FLAM'." "THE OTHER DISCIPLE OF TOM, WHO WAS SAID TO HAVE DIED 8 YEARS AGO!!" Franky stands with the blonde woman and others nearby as the top-hatted man warns, "FRANKY, WE ALREADY KNOW EVERYTHING." "DON'T PLAY DUMB WITH US... IT'LL ONLY RESULT IN FURTHER IMPATIENCE."

Reactions continue across panels. A cyborg-like man shows a question mark. The top-hatted man remains silent with "....." Franky sweats, admitting, "I'VE GOT A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS..." and "BUT GOOD FOR YOU..." The bull-headed man growls, "..... I DUNNO HOW YOU FOUND OUT..." The top-hatted man commands, "FRANKY. TAKE THAT THING AWAY FROM THE ISLAND..." A stern man with a scar states, "IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE I'M TARGETTED." The bull-headed man sweats heavily. A close-up shows the top-hatted man's intense eye. In the final panels, the bull-headed man shouts, "THAT IDIOT ICEBURG....." and asks, "SO... HOW'S....." The top-hatted man declares, "HE'S DEAD." The bull-headed man reacts with shock, "DOINGI"

In a dimly lit room, a man in a top hat with a small bird on his shoulder speaks while facing forward. "IT WAS PASSED ON... FROM TOM TO ICEBURG, AND ICEBURG TO YOU." A shadowed figure adds, "I HAVE SOMETHING TO GIVE YOU." The top-hatted man continues, "YOU TWO, COME OVER HERE. IT'S FINALLY CHECK MATE FOR OUR LONG SEARCH." The scene shifts to a ruined stone building interior. Franky, shirt open to reveal his star tattoo and mechanical body, stands with his back partly turned as multiple figures watch from the background. A voice demands, "GIVE US THE BLUEPRINT OF... THE WORLD'S WORST BATTLE SHIP... 'ANCIENT WEAPON' PLUTON!!!" Another speaker calls out, "NOW, FRANKY..."

Close-ups show Franky's furious face as he growls, "ARE YOU DEAF!I I SAID..." The top-hatted man replies with a cold stare. A slim figure questions, "CAN I JUST CALL YOU FRANKYI" while another remarks, "FLAMI WHAT A WEIRD NAME." Franky snaps back, "GIVE IT TO US, CUTTY FLAM." The slim figure mutters, "WHAT-EVER." In the next instant Franky lunges forward in a powerful dodge, shouting, "I AIN'T GIVING YOU NOTHIN'!!!!" as debris and motion lines explode around him.

Franky is violently struck from above by a massive chain-linked weapon. His body twists in mid-air, hair flying and limbs flailing as the impact sends him crashing downward. Large onomatopoeia "ガーン!!!! バキッ!!!!" dominate the panel, showing the force of the blow. Smaller inset panels capture the chain tightening and Franky's star-tattooed back hitting the rubble-strewn floor amid flying debris and dust.

A massive explosion erupts with the sound effect "バン!!!! ビシャアアアアア!!!!" Franky is hurled through the air amid smoke and shattered wood. The top-hatted man is knocked sideways by the blast. In the aftermath, Franky lands in a crouch, sweat flying, while a wide-eyed cyborg-like figure yells, "...HUH!I...!!! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED...!I I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING!!! HEY!!! YOU!!! HE'S TOO FAST!!!!" Another voice cries, "ARE YOU OK!!I"

Lucci towers over a battered figure sprawled on the rubble, asking "WHAT'S WRONG, LUCCHII" while a distant silhouette watches. Kaff sound effects punctuate the tense silence. Elsewhere, a stern man orders "SEARCH IT." Inside a wrecked building, a voice notes "THE PERFECT PLACE TO HIDE A BLUEPRINT." and another wonders about "A DRAFTING ROOM.....I" Lucci, now wearing a tall hat, scowls and mutters "WHAT... IS THIS DIRTY LITTLE ROOMI" In a cluttered room below, a hand points to a wooden sign reading "CUTTY FLAM" beside a name-plate marked "..... A NAME-PLATE." A tall silhouetted man reaches toward the plate while a long-haired woman in a patterned outfit stands nearby watching.

A large figure in a palm-tree patterned outfit protests "IT'S IMPOLITE... TO GO TROMPING THROUGH OTHER PEOPLES' MEMORIES..." while another warns "DON'T TOUCH IT..." Close-ups reveal signs reading "ICE-BURG" and "TOM". A man in a top hat states "THE WAREHOUSE IS A WRECK." and identifies "TOM'S WORKERS." A voice recalls "THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE I GREW UP. THE SHIP-BUILDING COMPANY," followed by "LIVED HERE." In a large flashback panel, young Franky and other Tom's Workers members sit together; one declares "BUT THE WORLD'S BEST SHIP-BUILDER..." amid the bustling shipyard setting.
