Ace's Vivre Card

A massive dragon-like creature rampages through the castle interior as a black creature flies past with "FWOOM!!" and "!!!". The dragon roars amid smoke and debris, with a voice yelling "DAMN IT! WHAT KIND OF POWER IS THISI IS HE INVINCIBLE OR WHATI" Explosions erupt as the creature is struck, sending figures flying. A small furry creature reacts with shock while a spiky-haired fighter is hurled backward, shouting "WOAH! YOU COULD'VE WARNED ME AT LEAST!" Another voice calls out "LET HIM GO THROUGH!!" as the battle rages across the collapsing floors.

Yamato smiles while a bandaged boy with a topknot stares in surprise, asking "D.I THAT'S FATHER'S LOGBOOKI" In a dramatic flashback panel, a young Kozuki Oden kneels before a burning castle as a dragon coils above, with narration stating "I WILL BE GIVING IT BACK TO YOU... I HAD FOUND IT NEAR THE RIVER OF ODEN CASTLE ON THAT DAY..." The text continues, "THAT I WOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET YOU SOMEDAY. In the final spread, Yamato and the boy react in horror as a wild-haired man roars "SABO AND I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU!" and "I JUST SAID IT WITHOUT THINKING!" while the boy shouts "DON'T MAKE FUN OF IT! FORGET WHAT I SAID, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY..." and Yamato cries "WHAT...!!!" The man declares "THAT IS LITTLE BROTHER'S DREAM!"

Yamato stares with wide eyes, tears forming as she recalls, "WE BELIEVE IN HIM!" A flashback shows a smiling woman with a bottle declaring, "I WON'T ALLOW THE OTHERS TO DO SO!" while a man in a hat adds, "...WE HAD A GOOD LAUGH, BUT... THE FIRST TIME HE SAID THAT..." The scene shifts to a young Ace shouting "ACE!" with impact lines and "I!" as someone yells "HUHI" A close-up reveals Ace's intense face under his hat, sweat flying, as he exclaims, "THAT HE CAN ACHIEVE IT! HE TRULY BELIEVES... SO..." Back in the present, Yamato smiles through tears, proclaiming, "I WOULD NEVER MAKE FUN OF HIM! THE KING OF THE PIRATES ALSO SAID THE SAME THING!" Ace reacts with wide eyes, "I SEE... A BIG FIGURE, HUHI NOT BAD AT ALL!" Yamato continues narrating, "...THERE IS A CERTAIN BIG FIGURE THAT ALSO SAID THE SAME THING! IN KOZUKI ODEN'S JOURNAL... THOSE WORDS HAD AMAZED ODEN! SO OBVIOUSLY I AM NOT GOING TO MAKE FUN OF IT... YOUR LITTLE BROTHER IS AMAZING!" The man in the hat reacts, "IF HE WASN'T ALREADY DEAD!!" with "WHATI DEADI!" and "HUHI" Yamato smiles, "I'D LOVE TO HAVE A DRINK WITH HIM AND LUFFY! THEY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ALONG JUST FINE!" In the present, Luffy stares at a piece of paper, asking "WHAT IS THATI A PIECE OF PAPERI" as a hand holds it up, "YOUR VIVRE CARD!" with sound effect "ばム..." and "FINALLY, HERE IT IS..." while a question mark floats nearby.

Yamato holds the Vivre Card aloft, beaming, "WELL MEET AGAIN RIGHT, ACEI GOT IT! THINK OF GIVING PARTS OF IT TO THE PEOPLE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SEE AGAIN! THIS PIECE OF PAPER WILL ALLOW US TO MEET ANOTHER TIME!" She explains, "IT FADED AWAY, NOW 2 YEARS AGO... I LEARNED OF WHAT HAPPENED BY READING THE JOURNALS." Flashbacks show young Yamato and others reading, with narration, "ODEN DESCRIBES THE FUTURE LIKE SO... THE SAME PIRATE THAT YOU BROUGHT HERE, LUFFY! AND THAT LITTLE BROTHER WAS MAKING A NAME FOR HIMSELF AS A PIRATE... THE FACT THAT ACE WAS ROGER'S SON..." Luffy pants heavily, "HUFF... HUFF..." with sound effects "ビアン" and "I!" as the scene erupts in motion lines and impacts.

Big Mom cackles, "ALL I WANT IS YOUR HEAD!!" while Kaido roars, "MUGIWARA..." and a grinning figure taunts, "YO! DID YOU GUYS COME TO WATCH MY FIGHTI" Luffy stands shocked amid a massive battlefield, "!!" as a dark silhouette walks forward with "...WALKING..." and impact SFX "ドォ" "ドン!!!" Big Mom declares, "...THEY ARE THE ONES WHO WILL DEFEAT KAIDO!!!" while another voice adds, "IF I WERE TO DIE... THEY WILL ARRIVE IN THE NEW WORLD!!!" Luffy stares in awe at the approaching figure, with narration continuing, "...THE NEXT GENERATION OF PIRATES WHO WILL LEAD THE NEXT ERA... IN ABOUT TWENTY YEARS" as the massive clash unfolds with motion lines, debris, and dramatic poses from the assembled fighters.

In the ruined rocky landscape, a massive horned figure looms with a gaping maw while Eustass Kid stands ready with his metal weapon and Monkey D. Luffy stares in shock. The large figure growls, "HMMI" as Luffy reacts with wide eyes. A voice exclaims, "OH..." The massive oni-like creature then roars, "HE DESTROYED MY CASTLE! YOU OWE ME AN APOLOGY, STRAW HAT!" Nearby, another fierce face snarls, "HE'S JUST A RUNT! HE HAD THE SAME HAUGHTY ATTITUDE WHEN HE FACED ME AS WELL!" and adds, "LINLIN, GUESS WHAT THIS KID SAID TO MY FACE!" Luffy stands silently with "..." as the giant figure steps forward with a "STEP" sound and questions with "HMMI" while debris flies and impact lines fill the air.

Kaido leans in with a furious glare, shouting at Luffy, "HEY KID! I DARE YOU... SAY IT ONE MORE TIME. WHAT YOU WANT TO BECOME!" Luffy lies on the ground as Kin'emon approaches. Luffy says, "SORRY FOR THE DELAY." Kin'emon replies, "YOU HANGING IN THERE, KIN'EMONI" A loud "BANG!!" echoes across the battlefield. Luffy coughs with "COUGH" and "..." as he pushes himself up, sweat and motion lines showing his effort while the rocky terrain stretches behind them.

Flashbacks show Kozuki Oden in his prime alongside retainers in traditional armor. Back in the present, the defeated retainers kneel and cry out in anguish, "WE WOULDN'T DARE SHOW OUR FACES TO HIM AFTER THIS!" One retainer shouts, "LORD ODEN..." while another sobs, "WE...WE REGRET...!!!" and "HAA...HAA... IN THE AFTERLIFE..." Luffy and Kin'emon watch the emotional scene amid swirling smoke and debris.

Luffy stands tall with a fierce expression and declares, "IT'S MY FRIENDS' COUNTRY! OF COURSE I WILL!" In the distance a voice pleads, "PLEASE SAVE WANO!" and "I BEG OF YOU..." Luffy crashes down with debris flying, "WOAH!" The sequence builds to Luffy's enraged close-up as he activates his technique, "GEAR THIRD GOMU GOMU NO" with intense impact effects and "!!!" sound effects surrounding the action.

Luffy's face fills a panel with fierce determination as he declares, "THE KING OF THE PIRATES!!! AND I WILL BECOME..." while shouting "I AM MONKEY D. LUFFY" and "I WILL SURPASS YOU..." Kaido looms in dragon form above. Luffy launches a devastating punch, the massive attack labeled "RED ROCK!!!" with enormous impact, smoke, chains, and debris exploding outward.
