I Can Feel Ya

On Water 7's Shipwreck Island, Franky works among shattered ships, planing and shaping timber with loud "SHWIP" strokes. Iceburg arrives and says, "BRO, ICEBURG'S HERE." Franky looks up from the wreckage and asks, "WHAT'S GOING ON, FRANKY?" then, "WHAT DID YOU COME HERE FOR?" Iceburg answers with his usual calm, "NMAAA... WELL," and asks, "AM I NOT ALLOWED TO HELP OUT?" Franky's stunned silence says enough. The former Tom's Workers are standing together again over a ship, but this time the work is not a weapon or a crime. It is a replacement for the Straw Hats' burned pirate ship.

Iceburg studies Franky's plans and asks, "HEH... CAN YOU EVEN FOLLOW MY PLANS!?" then demands, "LET ME SEE YOUR BLUE-PRINTS." Franky is not ready to be underestimated: "YOU SHOULD ASK YOURSELF THAT; ALL YOU'VE BEEN DOING IS DISMANTLING. ARE YOU SURE YOUR SKILL'S UP FOR IT?" Iceburg asks whether Tom's workers have all gathered, and the men answer Franky's call with pride. "I HEARD YOU'RE BUILDING A SHIP FOR THE STRAWHATS!! IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO HELP?" they ask. Franky tells them, "YOU DON'T NEED TO BUILD YOUR SHIP IN A PLACE LIKE THIS, YOU KNOW?" but they insist they do not want him to rush and be sloppy with the job. Their loyalty turns the ruined island into a shipyard.

While the shipbuilders work, the Franky Family rushes through Water Seven with the newspaper. Someone shouts, "HEEEY," and another cries, "LOOK! IT'S TODAY'S NEWS-PAPER!!" The article is about Enies Lobby, and they know it matters: "THAT ARTICLE WILL DECIDE OUR FATE!!!" But when they read it, their excitement collapses. "I-IT'S FINALLY IN THE PAPERS!!" turns into "IT DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT US... AT ALL...!!" and then disbelief: "WHA...!? FOR REAL!!?" They had expected to become fugitives after declaring war on the World Government, so the omission feels almost impossible. One of them sinks with relief, saying, "WOOOH I THOUGHT WE'D HAVE TO START A LIFE ON THE RUN... THANK GOD..."

At the Galley-La Company temporary headquarters, Sanji reports the commotion: "HOW DID THAT HAPPEN? THE FRANKY FAMILY WREAKED HAVOC OVER THERE." Nami guesses, "YOUR GRANDPA TWEAKED THE INFO AND SAID THEY WERE INNOCENT CITIZENS WHO GOT DRAGGED INTO THE MESS?" but Sanji rejects it: "NAH... HE DOESN'T PAY ATTENTION TO DETAILS LIKE THAT." Robin quietly says, "... I BET IT WAS AOKIJI... SUCH A MYSTERIOUS GUY..." The newspaper claims the Straw Hats declared war on the World Government and were responsible for burning the island, but ignores the Franky Family. Zoro smiles because this means their bounties will rise again, Chopper wonders if he will get one too, and Nami fumes that theirs will be problematic because people may treat them like superstars. Sanji snaps, "WHAT ARE YOU BEING SO HAPPY ABOUT!? ARE YOU ALL IDIOTS!?"

The others finally tell Luffy what happened while he was asleep. "Once again, Luffy and the others heard about the new ship that would replace Merry," and they are overjoyed. Luffy beams, "EEEE-EEH!!? FRANKY IS BUILDING A SHIP FOR US!!?" The crew cheers that Franky was a good guy after all. Then Nami brings the celebration back to money: "IN THE MEAN TIME, WHY DON'T WE GO SHOPPING...?" Luffy asks, "... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 100 MILLION BERI?" and she admits, "WE GAVE IT TO THEM TO BUY MEAT AND BOOZE... FOR THE FEAST!!" Chopper says it was their feast, but Nami explodes: "GAVE IT!? IT'S OUR MONEY!!!" After the huge party, they have only "A TINY BIT LEFT."

While waiting five days for Franky to finish building the ship, the Straw Hats spend a short time vacationing in Water 7. Luffy insists, "WE GOT A SHIP FOR FREE, SO THAT'S ALL RIGHT, ISN'T IT?" but Nami groans that she has nothing left. She had planned to buy gorgeous furniture for the ship, and Robin teasingly says, "FUFUFU... LET'S GO LOOK FOR BARGAINS." Chopper treats children to Mizu-Mizu candy and says, "IT'S ALL RIGHT, I GOT 10,000 BERI. I'LL USE THE REST OF THE MONEY TO BUY MEDICAL BOOKS." Nami loves the clothes in a shop, but the price ruins the dream, and Sanji tries to buy an expensive real sword for her. The shopkeeper sends him away: "GO HOME, WINDOW-SHOPPER!!"

Usopp rehearses alone, trying to imagine the best way to return to the crew. He pictures Chopper running up with, "HEY, CHOPPER, THE WEATHER'S NICE TODAY," and himself answering casually. He imagines saying, "LET'S GO FISHING! HEY, LUFFY, WHY DON'T YOU JOIN IN?" or pretending nothing happened and blending into the crowd. Another idea is to announce, "I'VE DECIDED TO GO TO ELBAF!" and then immediately claim, "I WAS KIDDING! I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ALL TOO WELL!!" But each scene exposes the same problem. If Luffy asks for him, Usopp will come back instantly, so he shouts in frustration, "YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING WITHOUT ME!!" and "IF YOU SAY THAT MUCH... ALL RIGHT!! I'LL COME BACK FOR YOU!!!"

Usopp's fantasy reaches its softest point: Luffy crying, "YOU'LL COME BACK FOR US, USOPP!?" and Usopp roaring, "GAHAHAHA, OF COURSE, FOOLS!!!" From far away, someone mutters, "You guys love me too much," and Sanji notices the act for what it is: "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT IDIOT DOING...?" The crew's expressions grow quiet. They all know Usopp is circling the same wound without facing it. In the distance, on Shipwreck Island, the new ship's body rises from the wreckage as Franky, Iceburg, and the shipwrights work through the sunset.

By the third day of the wait, the Log Pose is ready. Kokoro announces, "THE LOG IS READY!!!" and explains that it is already pointing to the next island. Luffy can hardly wait: "THEN ALL WE NEED IS THE SHIP TO SET SAIL!! I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!" Kokoro says Franky wanted to surprise them, so they should not come by until it is ready. She asks Nami, "ZOO YOU... KNOW WHERE ZE LOG'S LEADING YOU TO?" Nami says it is pointing a little downward, and Kokoro answers, "NGAGAGA... OF COURZZE. ZE NEGGST ISLAND IZZ FIZZHMAN ISLAND, ZE PARADIZE BENEATH ZE SEA!!" The next destination is no ordinary island; it lies under the ocean.

The mention of Fishman Island overwhelms Sanji. He stammers, "EEEEEEH!!? F-FI-FI-FI FI... FI...!! FISHMAN ISLAND...? FINALLY!!?" and Chopper asks what is going on with him. Luffy admits he has mixed feelings after everything that happened in Arlong's village, but Sanji's imagination has already launched into paradise. He declares, "FISHMAN ISLAND IS A FAMOUS SPOT IN THE GRAND LINE!! BEAUTIFUL MERMAIDS DRAW ARCS ABOVE THE WATER AND PLAY WITH FISH IN THE DREAM KINGDOM!!" Zoro reminds him, "BUT BACK THEN, THOSE FISHMEN WERE PIRATES, RIGHT?" Sanji snaps that Zoro knows nothing and adds, "THEY HAVE YOUNG MERMAIDS, TOO!!!" When Nami says nothing, Sanji collapses at her feet and insists, "I'M A PIRATE, DAMN IT!!! CAN'T I AT LEAST DREAM ABOUT IT!!?"

Kokoro warns that reaching the paradise beneath the sea will not be easy. "IT'ZZ NOT EASY TO GET TO ZE PARADISE," she says, and when Luffy asks about the "beneath the sea" part, Kokoro tells him, "ZHAT... YOU'LL GETZ IT WHEN YOO GET THERE. ZHAT'S NOT ZE PROBLEM." Then she points them to the front page of the recent newspaper. Nami reads, "14 SHIPS DISAPPEARED THIS MONTH... AGAIN," and asks what it means. Kokoro names the danger: "FLORIAN TRIANGLE." It is an area they must pass through to reach the paradise, and the phrase immediately turns the route to Fishman Island into something ominous.

Kokoro explains the Florian Triangle with the image of an abandoned ship and fog thick enough to swallow the sea. "MORE ZHAN 100 SHIPS EACH YEAR ARR REPORTED MISSING ON ZHAT SEA..." she says. Later, people sometimes find ships drifting without their crews, and there are even constant sightings of vessels carrying the dead onboard. Chopper screams, "THERE ARE GHOSTS!!? SCARY!!!" while Luffy lights up: "I CAN MEET LIVING SKELETONS!!?" Nami panics that she does not even want to see such creepy ships, and Robin calmly says merchant and pirate ships returning as ghost ships are always part of the legends of the "Treasure Ship." Kokoro gives the practical warning: "IF SOMETHING HAPPENZZ TO YOU, YOO WON'T COME BACK ALIVE. A DARK ZEA WITH A THICK FOG... BE WAAAARNED."

The crew reacts to the ghost-ship warning exactly as expected. Luffy shouts, "LET'S GO FIND THE GHOST SHIPS!!!" Chopper begs, "LEAVE IT TO ME!!!" in panic, and Nami screams, "EEEEH, NOOO!!" Sanji imagines treasure ships and maybe swords, while Robin calmly says, "BRING ON THE DISASTERS." Their argument is interrupted by the Franky Family crashing in, out of breath. They shout, "PIRATE BROS--!! STRAWHAT--!!" and when Luffy asks what is up, they answer, "FRANKY BRO... ASKED ALL OF YOU TO COME...!!!" The reason is huge: "THE 'DREAM SHIP' IS DONE!!!" and "IT'S REALLY A GREAT ONE!!!"

The Straw Hats race toward the ship. Luffy yells in delight, "EEEH!? IT'S DONE ALREADY!? THAT'S MUCH FASTER THAN PLANNED!!!" Sanji explains, "FIVE TOP-NOTCH SHIPWRIGHTS SPENT DAYS AND NIGHTS TO BUILD IT!!" and the crew charges forward shouting, "ALL RIGHT, LET'S GO!!" Then the Franky Family catches up again, exhausted and desperate. They ask whether the Straw Hats saw the wanted posters, and when Sanji hears, "YOU... YOU HAVE AN OUTRAGEOUS BOUNTY ON YOUR HEAD, STRAWHAT-SAN!!" he realizes, "ME, TOO!?" Nami and Chopper both cry, "ME, TOO!?" The family throws the posters down and says, "HERE... SEE FOR YOURSELF!!"

The wanted posters scatter across the page, and the Straw Hats' new status becomes official. The Franky Family says, "ALL SEVEN OF YOU GOT BOUNTIES!!!" Strawhat Luffy now has a bounty of 300,000,000 Beri. Pirate Hunter Zoro has 120,000,000 Beri. "Devil's child" Nico Robin has 80,000,000 Beri. Black Leg Sanji, whose poster says "photo unavailable," has 77,000,000 Beri. "King of sharpshooters" Sogeking has 30,000,000 Beri. "Cat thief" Nami has 16,000,000 Beri. "Cotton candy lover" Chopper, listed as a pet, has only 50 Beri. The page turns the crew's survival at Enies Lobby into numbers that the whole world will see.

The crew reacts in every direction at once. Luffy laughs, "WOO HOO!! MINE INCREASED!!!" Zoro only smirks, "HEH." Nami freezes in horror, Sanji stares at his poster and asks, "WHO'S THIS?" while Chopper whispers, "FIVDY..." at his tiny bounty. Robin smiles quietly, and even Sogeking has a poster. The Franky Family raises their hands and says, "WELL, I CAN FEEL YA... AND I KNOW YOU'VE GOT LOTS TO SAY, BUT... W-WAIT! OUR REQUEST IS IN REGARD TO THIS. LOOK AT THIS." The reveal is not finished. The wanted posters are also the reason they came running.

The final poster is Franky's. The name reads "Cyborg" Franky, with a bounty of 44,000,000 Beri. The Franky Family shouts, "FRANKY!!!" and explains why they are afraid. Since Franky now has a bounty, "BRO'S LIFE WILL BE AT STAKE IF HE STAYS IN WATER 7!!" If he is caught again, they will not be able to save him, and they admit, "WE GOT OFF THE HOOK SOMEHOW... BUT BRO DIDN'T MAKE IT..." They beg the Straw Hats directly: "STRAWHAT-SAN, PLEASE!!! USE FORCE IF NECESSARY!!! PLEASE TAKE HIM OUT TO SEA!!!" Their request is born from love and fear. Franky is a son of a pirate after all, and Water 7 can no longer shelter him.
