In smaller panels, a man with a rifle aims and shouts "YOU'LL PAY FOR HURTING OUR MEN!!" The action cuts to a large Pacifista-like figure labeled "PX-41 041" slamming into an opponent with a powerful strike, sending the victim flying amid impact lines and debris. The defender yells "ARRRGH!!" as the blow lands.

Below, Marines and workers react in confusion: "SOMETHING'S DEFINITELY UP!!" "ARE THE PACIFISTA DOING THEIR JOBI" "HUFF HUFF. SOME DAY OFF THIS TURNED OUT TO BE.." One warns an injured man, "YOU'LL AGGRAVATE YOUR WOUNDS! PLEASE DON'T MOVE!" A sign reads "FACTORY." The bearded Marine officer clutches his head in frustration, exclaiming, "AND I CAN'T EVEN GET A HOLD... OF GRANDPA PUNK!! THE FRONTIER DOME'S SEALED..." A small robot clings to him, adding to the chaos as heavy sound effects rumble across the floor.

Luffy pants heavily, "HUFF... HUFF..." while a voice off-panel cheers, "YOU GOT IT!! I'LL GET HIM OFF THIS ISLAND, NO MATTER WHAT!!" Nearby, a small floating robot buzzes with "BZZ...!!!" The Navy continues its attempts to contact the island as Luffy notes, "THE NAVY'S STILL TRYING TO REACH ME... THEY DON'T REALIZE I'M ALREADY A REBEL!! IT'S UNSETTLING..." Inside a control room, an officer in a dark coat and sunglasses commands, "STAND READY TO DEPLOY!! ALL 50 MARK III UNITS..." Mechanical sounds echo as the units prepare, and the officer concludes, "GUESS I CAN JUST DO WHATEVER I WANT NOW."

A towering figure orders, "STAND GUARD AT THE COAST!!" while another states, "THE NAVY MIGHT HAVE SOMETHING UP THEIR SLEEVE." The mission is confirmed: "YOUR MISSION IS TO SEE TO IT THAT THEY SET SAIL SAFELY!! STRAW HAT LUFFY WILL BE TAKING DR. VEGAPUNK WITH HIM ON HIS SHIP!!" A voice replies, "UNDERSTOOD." In the streets, Marines and civilians sense trouble: "SOMETHING IS GOING TO GO DOWN ON THIS ISLAND SOON..." Chaos erupts with heavy impacts as fighters are thrown aside. The final panels show close-ups of the determined Marine officer sweating as he vows, "NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS......YOU MUST ENSURE YOUR CREATOR ESCAPES!!"

A massive dome labeled "PUNK RECORDS" looms as someone shouts, "HE'S GOT TO BE IN THE LAB SOMEWHERE!!" A sign points to "LABO-STRATUM, EGGHEAD." Luffy, exhausted, huffs while a tiny robot scolds him, "SO YOU BROKE YOUR HOVERBOOTS FROM ALL THAT RUNNING AROUNDI!" Luffy protests, "DON'T SNITCH! I CAN'T PAY THEM BACK!" and adds, "I RAN ALL OVER THE PLACE LOOKING THOUGH...!!" Inside the lab, a monitor displays live feeds as a figure reports, "EVERYTHING IN THE LAB IS TRANSMITTED TO THIS MONITOR." Luffy reacts with shock, "HUHI!" while others note, "BONNEY'S OVER HERE." "I COULDN'T FIND BONNEY EITHER." "BUT SERIOUSLY, WHERE DID APPLE GRAMPS GOI" "YOU COULD'VE TOLD ME SOONER!! SHE NEVER WENT ANYWHERE."

Inside the control room, panic spreads as the group realizes their situation. "...Trapped on the labo-stratum. As things stand we're basically..." "SeriouslyI!" "WhatI! How can that beI!" "Second, we've lost control of the frontier dome..." "First, the Stella has disappeared." "Just keep calm and listen." "Yes, we have a couple of issues..." A helmeted figure labeled 01 warns, "If we tried to leave, the lasers would likely fry us." Scattered crew members lie on the floor amid debris while others search, one shouting, "We found some spare parts!" "Hey, your face is as good as new!" On the right, a tall robot-like figure labeled 3 declares, "The future is now!! This place is simply marvelous!! They have everything!!" A blonde woman in a PUNK shirt replies, "I thought we were leavingI" while a spiky-haired man labeled SS stands nearby. Below, an older man with a headset asks, "If he's not showin' up on any of your monitorsI" "How are we meant to find him..." "We should prioritize finding the Stella first!!" "Quite, and the dome is really a secondary concern when you consider your main passenger is missing!!" "I'll figure out a way to repair the dome in the meantime." A shocked voice yells, "WHAAAAATI! How can we leave the island with Vegapunk thenI!" "Where's your Stella body... did something happenI" Large sound effect: "どどっ!!"

The crew examines the lab monitors. "But that Seraphim rampage just now... Must've incapacitated some of the baby monitor snails... or maybe they were just knocked out of position." "Well, these displays do normally show the entire lab." A figure points at the screens showing various rooms. "Third floor of C tower seems empty." "I see... then next try-" "Shaka! It's Pythagoras!" "He might've passed out in a blind spot." "I'm having our workers and the other satellites search for him." A woman with long hair and heart effects says, "Oooohhh!! Stussy-sama, take me with youuu!!" "I'm worried." "I'll also take a look around." "I'll join you." "The sooner we can set sail, let's search..." "The sooner we find him." A skull-faced figure labeled 3 appears with a treasure chest labeled "FOR TREASURE TOO!" while a woman in a revealing outfit stands nearby.

Elsewhere, a dark-haired woman smiles and says, "Just, be a dear and wait, okayI" "He's right, Zoro! You stay!" "But who's gonna find you when you're doneI" "Hold up, Mosshead!" "You're going out to find someoneI!" A green-haired swordsman and others react with shock. "We're looking for a geezer with a sawed-off head, rightI" "Guess I'll lend a hand..." In another area, injured figures lie on the ground. "Huff. Huff." "BLEH!" "I... always... go all out... for everything..." "Can't believe we bumped into these guys again." "Anyway, you must've been running out, huhI" "Man, what damn pain..." "Well, they're just forming a search party, so I guess they'll be fine." A sign reads "LAB INTERIOR: PAW ROOM." Nearby, a small creature yells, "Shut it! Get outta here!" "WAAAH!!" "Bonney, don't touch that!" while a man thinks, "I wonder how Ice-boss is doing..." "Takes me back to Water 7..."

Outside on grassy terrain, a long-haired woman stands with tears, "SOB" "Huff." "..." Close-ups show heavy breathing and distress. A small creature sniffles, "Sniff..." "Uwaah!!" The woman approaches, asking, "Hey... what's wrong...I" Silhouetted figures shout in panic, "They'll kill the rest of us!" "Bastard! Get your ass back now! If you escape," "Uwaah!! Someone save me! I can't take it anymore!!" "C'MERE!!" "I don't wanna go back!!" The woman reaches out, "Wait..." A voice calls, "We've got you now!!" She whispers, "Daddy...I"

A terrified young woman with long light hair runs desperately across rocky ground, tears streaming down her face as she clutches a large cylindrical weapon. "IF I GO BACK, I'LL DIE ANYWAY!!" she screams. Nearby voices taunt her: "GO BACK!!" "JUST KILL ME INSTEAD!!" "WHAT GOOD'S CRYING GONNA DOI DAMN BRAT!!" "I DON'T EVER WANT TO GO THERE AGAIN!!" She gasps, "WHAT...I! I CAN'T GET ANY CLOSER...I!" A shadowy figure swings a bat, yelling "STOP!!" The woman pleads, "PLEASE... STOP IT... SAVE ME..." while the attacker looms over her, declaring "IT HURTS... I'M SORRY!!" and "HELP ME..."

The young woman fires her weapon, unleashing a massive glowing blast that engulfs the area with "VUUU..." and "ZUUU..." sounds. An unseen figure cries "ARGH!!" The blast knocks both the woman and a large bear-like man to the ground. They lie panting, "HUFF..." as the bear-man struggles to rise. The woman looks up in shock. The bear-man, identified as Bartholomew Kuma, charges forward while someone shouts "IS HE STILL GOING!!" and "SHOOT HIM DOWN!!"

The young woman reflects, "IF I STAY IGNORANT, I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND... RIGHT, DADI" She adjusts her mask, murmuring "MY RESOLVE WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH..." In the ruined futuristic city of Egghead, a small round robot labeled "PUNK 04" asks "STELLA... WHERE THE BLAZES DID YA GET TOI" while another figure reacts with "HMI" Explosions rock the area as "KA-BOOM!!" and "ARGGH!!" ring out. A distant voice notes, "EVEN THOUGH THEY WERE BORN HERE... WOW, THEY REALLY TOTALED THE PLACE..."

A news coo delivers a frantic report from a floating "WE NEWS" blimp: "AN INSANE SCOOP JUST CAME IN!" "KU HA HA HA! GET A LOAD OF THIS!" A bird-like reporter in a top hat declares, "IT'S LIKE OHARA ALL OVER AGAIN!! THE WORLD GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ASSASSINATE THE BELOVED DR. VEGAPUNK!!" He continues, "EMPEROR STRAW HAT LUFFY TAKES VEGAPUNK HOSTAGE!!" "SO LET'S MAKE THE HEADLINE: 'NAVY SKIRMISH AT EGGHEAD!!'" Background voices react with "YES!!" "THAT'S OUTRAGEOUS!" and "THIS GUY!!"

On a lively street lined with buildings, Wapol and a companion react in panic. "KEEP YOUR VOICE DOWN!! WHAT IF THERE'S A WIRETAP SNAIL AROUND HEREI!" "THE GOVERNMENT WILL ERASE US!!" Wapol, labeled KING OF EVIL BLACK DRUM WAPOL, yells while gesturing wildly. "BESIDES, MORG-CHAN TOOK US IN! DON'T BE RUDE!" Nearby, Princess Nefertari Vivi stands with arms crossed, retorting "THE ECONOMIC JOURNAL IS SUCH A RAG!" and "LUFFY-SAN WOULD NEVER DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT." A small bubble notes "SHE ACTUALLY BORROWED MY CLOTHES! ♡ I'M NEVER WASHING THEM AGAIN ♡" Background figures watch as large sound effects "くぅ!!" erupt. In the lower panel, a top-hatted figure dramatically declares "MY WORDS CAN SHAKE THE WORLD!" while debris flies. "BESIDES, NEWS ISN'T ABOUT FACT OR FICTION, IT'S ABOUT ENTERTAINMENT!!"
