The story resumes with Bellamy bouncing through the broken corridor as a side note asks, "With his friend standing in his way, what will Luffy do...?" Luffy shouts, "Mingo betrayed you!" and "Stop this, Bellamy!!!" Bellamy wheezes and answers, "That may be true, but I don't give a shit anymore!!!" Luffy yells back, "There's no reason for you to pick this fight with me!!!" Bellamy warns, "If you think I'm bluffin'," while Luffy stands battered and frustrated.

Bellamy continues his Spring Hopper charge. He grins and says, "Then just keep..." before whipping past Luffy again. As his body rockets around the walls and floor, Bellamy finishes, "Standin' there and I'll bring the pain!" Luffy watches grimly, taking in the attack pattern while Bellamy's impact sounds and ricochets fill the page. The page is a tense visual continuation of Bellamy forcing Luffy to either endure the blows or finally answer him.

The scene cuts to the plateau on which the palace is located, second level, around the statue of Pica. The crumbling stone giant knocks people aside as someone cries, "Pica-sama!!" Zoro braces himself, saying, "Shit!! My foothold..." while civilians scream, "Waa aaa ah!!!" and "Gyaa aaa!!" As Zoro reappears in front of the stone mass, the enemy soldiers yell, "Unaah!! It's the 'Pirate Hunter'!!!!" and "Shoot him down!" Zoro says, "This stubborn chunk of rock just doesn't know when to quit!"

At Franky's battlefield, Senor Pink tells Franky, "Despite having learned what my powers are... you still believe you can take me down. How naive." Franky is swept through the ground as people shout "Uwah!!" and "Wait!!" Senor Pink invokes "The Admiral's Dignity," making the Marines line up and call, "'Tten hut--!!" Franky pauses with "Hrm?" as the Marines plead, "Please stop--!!" and "Ad... miraaalll... stooop--!!" One confused onlooker asks, "Huh?! Why are we lined up at attention..." Senor Pink then launches "Killer Bowling!!!"

Senor Pink's attack crashes through the battlefield as people scream "Gyaa aaaa ah!!!" Zoro notices incoming help, and an ally says, "Nice! Thanks for the help." When asked, "Are you someone from the Colosseum?!" the man declares, "I am Orlumbus! Had this been the sea, I'd have sent my Grand Yonta Maria fleet to aid you!" He adds, "We're a bit short on hands at the moment, so I'm going to have to leave that monster to you!!" Zoro says, "Wha?!" then accepts the role, answering, "Yeah, I'll handle him... That bastard has been flailing about for too long already..."

Zoro uses the chaos around Pica's huge stone body to bait him. Pica's face appears in the wall while people shout, "Uwaaah! Pica-sama has taken over the plateau!!!" and "A face showed up on the wall!!" Pica mutters, "Pikkya-pikkya-pikkya-rara..." Zoro taunts him, saying, "So... you thought you had escaped the wrath-- was that your laugh just now? Did you actually just laugh like that?!" Pica snaps, "You're... you're the ridiculous one, Pirate Hunteeer!!" Another voice protests, "It was just so fucking ridiculous that it blew my mind!!" and Zoro says, "Hey, Pica!! Mind your surroundings! We're fighting here too, y'know!!!" He grins, "Heh...! The bigger the better... I can't wait to dig my blades into you." A translation note explains that "Charlestone" is written with the kanji for "dance-stomp stone."

Leo attacks with "Hakaithou!!!" and a translator note labels it "Destruction Cannon" as his strike sends an enemy flying with a "Kyaa--!!" Leo tells Robin, "Don't go letting your eyes wander elsewhere, shorty!!" Robin asks, "Why didn't you come out and tell me this before?!" Leo laughs "Tada!!" and says, "Just because we're both enemies?!" He insists, "I still have no idea what you're talking about!!! Don't play dumb with me!!!" while Robin looks exasperated.

Leo explains his awkward heroic logic: "If you're going to come after me so earnestly, little things like what side we're on shouldn't matter!" In memory panels Princess Mansherry says, "I'm gonna take that heart of yours!" and "Saying things like you'll 'steal my heart'..." Another voice says, "Kakkakka! I ain't letting go of this hand!" Leo says, "You think you can keep up with me? Or to 'come with me!'" and, "That you'll 'hold my hand'..." Mansherry blushes and cries, "You... need me, don't you!?" with a sighing heart. Leo reacts, "Ehhh??" Below, Mansherry says, "I've already taken care of that giant, Harjudin! My next prey will be--iin..." and adds, "I've found some footin'!" while the battlefield shakes with "Whoa-iiin!!!"

As Machvise bears down on Hajrudin, someone recognizes Zoro and says, "Ah! That's... Roronoa Zoro!" Machvise mocks Hajrudin: "Against the great Mach Vise, even the warriors of Elbaf ain't shit!" Hajrudin thinks of his dream: "My dream is to become the king of all giants..." He remembers losing the tournament, being made into a toy, being saved, and still not repaying his saviors: "Yet what does that matter? I lost the tournament... I was made into a toy... I was saved... and I can't even repay my saviors!" He asks himself, "Why am I still alive!? Is this the extent of my gratitude?!" and calls himself pathetic if he truly thought he could die to repay that debt. Machvise laughs with "Ton ton!" and "Niiiin!" as he descends.

Machvise drops toward Zoro and shouts, "Here I come, Roronoa! Thousand-ton Destruction Vise!" Hajrudin steps in and tells Zoro, "Forgive me, but... leave him to me..." Zoro recognizes the giant's resolve while Machvise laughs, "I guess I've just gotta get heavier-iiin!" and asks, "Oi oiittin' you still haven't bitten the dust? Hajrudiiittiin!" He announces, "10,000 Ton Hell Vise!" Hajrudin thinks, "The dead are of no use to anyone, but... if I have even a single arm left, I can take down this guy!" Machvise taunts, "You oughtta still have some bones left for me to break!" Hajrudin answers, "Take this! The force of this life!"

Hajrudin's battered arm cracks under Machvise's enormous weight, but he keeps forcing it upward. He cries, "Fly, fly away to the kingdom of the gods!" Machvise boasts, "I'm ten thousand freaking tons! Niiiin! It's useless-iiiin!" while allies shout, "Get crushed, Hajrudin!" Hajrudin strains through the pain with "Rraa aaag ghhh!" and drives his punch up with the attack name "Gungnir!" A translator note says the hero's spear Gungnir is the name of the Norse chief god Odin's spear. Machvise is blasted skyward despite his weight.

Machvise hurtles upward screaming, "Graaa aaaaa aaah!!!" while below the impact sounds explode with "Gyaa aaiii iin!!!" Bystanders yell, "It's gonna break!!" and "Whaaaat!?" Someone cries, "Vise-sama!" and another warns, "Oh shit! Above!" As Machvise keeps rising, a fighter says, "He's gonna hit the Bird Cage! Vise-sama! Stop!" Hajrudin collapses, and a speaker says, "I guess he isn't flying anywhere anytime soon." Zoro adds, "Well, not like he's a bird or anything." Another voice says, "Sweet dreams, giant. When you're done counting sheep," while Hajrudin says, "This cage will be gone!" The ending caption reads, "The pride of Elbaf burns bright!" and the page marks "ONE PIECE Ch. 770 END."
