LUFFY IN BLACK

At Arlong Park, the giant sea cow Momoo lies defeated and unconscious in the water, its eyes swirling. The massive creature has crashed into the compound, destroying part of the wall. On the shore, the villagers of Cocoyasi Village and Arlong's fishman crew stare in absolute shock at the destruction. A villager exclaims, "He flung that... monster from the Grand Line...!" Another adds, "What destructive strength..." Someone else mutters, "It's almost... Too much to believe...!" The sheer scale of the impact leaves everyone stunned.

The fishmen pirates continue to stare in disbelief at the defeated sea cow. One of them says, "To think that there would actually be humans who can handle fishmen..." Another questions, "Is this really a battle of our world...!?" The scene shifts to show Sanji, Luffy, and Zoro standing confidently, facing the fishmen. Sanji, smoking a cigarette, remarks, "If this was how things were going to turn out, we should have fought from the beginning." Luffy stands with his feet still stuck in the stone pavement, while Zoro rests his hand on his sword.

Arlong sits in his chair, looking furious. Beside him, Chew says, "If we let you fight while that much enraged, all of Arlong Park will end up destroyed! Chu <3" Kuroobi adds, "Arlong, please just sit right there." Meanwhile, Hatchan, the octopus fishman, prepares an attack, puffing up his cheeks. "Take this! Zero field of vision..." Luffy, still stuck in the ground, says, "Uhh guys, hear me out. I'm in a bit of a pickle." Sanji notices Hatchan and says, "That octopus is doing something." Zoro casually suggests, "First boil the octopus in salt water, slice it up, and add some olive oil and paprika to make an excellent side dish while drinking." Hatchan suddenly unleashes a massive blast of black ink from his mouth, shouting, "Tako-Hachi Black!"

Hatchan's ink blast shoots toward the trio. Sanji and Zoro quickly dodge out of the way, yelling, "Octopus ink!" and "Aghhh!" Sanji turns back and yells, "You dumbass! Why didn't you dodge that!?" Luffy is shown completely covered in black ink, screaming, "Aghhh! I can't see anything!" Zoro warns him, "Luffy, watch out! Dodge it!" Luffy replies, "I kinda can't move... nor see..." Sanji stares in disbelief, "What." Zoro facepalms, muttering, "For god's sake..." Sanji yells, "But you're the one who did that to yourself!" Zoro agrees, "Yeah, that's the problem..." In the background, Hatchan prepares his next move.

Luffy, completely blackened by the ink with only his eyes and teeth visible, looks confused and says, "Huh?" Hatchan yells, "On the Tako-Hachi Black... Rock!" He lifts a massive chunk of stone rubble and hurls it directly at the immobilized Luffy. The huge rock crashes down onto Luffy with a deafening smash, kicking up a massive cloud of dust and debris. Arlong watches the impact with a sinister grin.

The massive rock shatters into pieces as Sanji steps in and kicks it away, saving Luffy. Sanji sighs, "Agh, jeeze... Looks like I've chosen to follow a dumbass for my captain..." Luffy cheers, "Nice one, Sanji!" Sanji smirks and says, "But it's still a 100 times better, than being in a pirate crew that would harm a lady." Usopp, watching from a distance, is amazed and yells, "He's amazing!" Zoro agrees, "My feelings exactly." Kuroobi addresses Sanji, "For a human, you're not half-bad but... a pirate going around spouting chivalrous lines? How half-assed..." Luffy is seen pulling on his legs, trying to free himself. "Heh. Still not yet. My feet aren't budging one bit." Sanji looks back in disbelief, "Still!?"

Sanji faces Kuroobi, retorting, "Would you like to test just how half-assed my chivalry really is, Mr. Fish? Despite what you may think, I've spent half my life as a pirate." Kuroobi crosses his arms and replies, "It seems that you fools, don't understand the level that we fishmen are on." Meanwhile, Luffy is stretching his upper body backward, pulling as hard as he can to free his feet. Sanji asks, "What about now, Luffy!? Are you even trying!?" Luffy replies, "Eh, you're only stretching it. My feet are still stuck as ever." Sanji asks, "Is it still not coming out!?" Luffy confirms, "Nope, not even a bit." Suddenly, Hatchan appears above Luffy, wielding his swords and yelling, "You think you can just horse around, at Arlong Park!?"

Hatchan descends toward Luffy with his swords drawn, shouting, "I'll kill you all!" Usopp panics, screaming, "Aghhhhh! Hurry up and get your feet out already!" Just before Hatchan can strike, Zoro steps in and blocks the octopus fishman's swords with his own. Zoro says, "Hey octopus, those guys're busy right now." Hatchan looks surprised and says, "Nyu! Roronoa Zoro! That's right, I forgot!" Zoro smirks confidently and challenges him, "Why don't you play with me instead?"

Hatchan furiously attacks Zoro, pushing him back with a flurry of sword strikes. "How dare you deceive me before! Not only that, you cut down my brethren!" Zoro blocks the heavy blows, grunting, "Whoa!" Zoro then pushes back, stating, "I don't care about ancient history. It doesn't matter for what reason you want to kill me... the situation's different now." Zoro draws his swords, a fierce smile on his face. "You guys aren't going to be doing the killing. It's us that's going to be killing you!"

Usopp gives a thumbs up, looking relieved. "G-good, Zoro. I'll let you deal with that octopus. Nice work." Suddenly, Luffy's stretched body snaps back like a rubber band. "Crap! I accidentally let go!" Luffy flies backward at high speed, screaming, "Aghhhhhh!" He crashes violently into Sanji and Zoro, knocking them both down. Chew watches the chaotic scene, muttering, "Hmm?" Luffy bounces back to his original spot, his feet still stuck in the stone. "Darn it, I'm back....My bad." Sanji and Zoro are left groaning on the ground.

Usopp screams in absolute terror, his eyes bulging, "Aghhhhhhh!" Chew shouts after him, "Looks like you really do want to be killed by me!" Usopp immediately turns and sprints away as fast as he can. Johnny and Yosaku yell after him, "Brother Usopp!" Chew notices the commotion and recognizes Usopp. "That's the guy who saved Gen back at our village... He's a pirate too?" Chew then addresses the gathered villagers. "Oh, it's you hooligans from before. You were still here? Chu <3 Oh? Looks like all the Cocoyashi villagers are here too. Seeing as how you're all carrying weapons, which means you'll all be... I take it that you're all rebelling." The villagers, including Nojiko and Genzo, stand their ground with weapons in hand.

Suddenly, a fiery projectile strikes Chew directly in the face, exploding on impact. "Flame Star!" Chew is knocked backward by the blast. Usopp is seen running away at full speed, looking back over his shoulder. Johnny and Yosaku cheer, "Brother Usopp!" Usopp yells back bravely despite running away, "Don't forget! Your opponent is me!"

Usopp continues to sprint away, screaming in panic, "Aghhhhhh!" Chew recovers from the attack, his face darkened with rage. "Fine, since you want to be killed so badly, allow me to make it quick!" The villagers watch Usopp flee in confusion. One says, "W-what's with that youngster..." Another adds, "Acting tough then running away..." A third mutters, "What a strange man..." Nojiko looks on, thinking, "How could these guys be pirates...!?!" Chew charges after Usopp, his sharp teeth bared in a furious expression.

Back at the main fight, Kuroobi tells Arlong, "Arlong, I've already asked you not to fight." Luffy, still stuck, says, "I ain't gonna fight but... Ah." Luffy stretches his arm far back, preparing an attack. "I'm gonna kick your... ASS!" He launches a powerful punch directly at Arlong.

Arlong effortlessly catches Luffy's incoming fist with one hand, his grip tight. "Do you seriously think you can win against us?" Sanji, smoking, replies, "And what if we do?" Luffy struggles against Arlong's grip, yelling, "You bet I think so, you idiot! Now let go of my hand!" Zoro observes, "Seems like, he has something to say." Arlong smirks menacingly and says, "No, no..." He begins to pull on Luffy's stretched arm, dragging Luffy toward him.

Arlong lifts Luffy entirely off the ground by his arm, pulling up the massive chunk of stone pavement that Luffy's feet are stuck in. Arlong laughs, "Why don't we play this game? Devil fruit users are said to be unable to swim...! Well, in this situation, even a non-devil fruit user wouldn't be able to swim...! Shahahaha!" Sanji realizes the danger and says, "Don't tell me... he's gonna throw him into the sea!?" Luffy, dangling in the air with the heavy rock attached to his feet, stammers, "W-w-wha?" Desperate, Luffy tries to counterattack, throwing his other fist. "Gomu Gomu... Pistol!"

Luffy's punch lands squarely on Arlong's face, but Arlong simply bites down hard on Luffy's hand with his sharp teeth. Luffy screams in pain, "Gahhhhh!" Arlong mocks him, "Fool... How futile." Luffy gasps, "Wha..." With a powerful swing, Arlong hurls Luffy, along with the heavy stone block, directly into the deep pool of water in the center of Arlong Park. Arlong laughs triumphantly, "Shahahaha!" Luffy screams, "Ahhh!?" as he plunges into the water with a massive splash. Sanji yells, "Luffy! You bastard! I'll go s..." He prepares to dive in, but Zoro stops him, shouting, "Wait, you dumbass!"

Zoro warns Sanji, "Don't act so rashly! Going into the sea is exactly what these guys want! There's only one way to save Luffy right now...!" Sanji understands and replies, "You mean we have to beat these guys to a pulp on land first and then jump into the sea? Fine by me." Zoro draws his sword and declares, "Let's do this!" Sanji agrees, "Yeah!" Arlong laughs, "Ah, one of these games, huh. Shahahaha!" Underwater, Luffy is sinking rapidly, weighed down by the stone block. Bubbles escape his mouth as he thinks, "Ughh... Crap. All my energy feels like it's being sucked out..."
