It Begins

Outside a large, ornate building with domes and palm trees, Pell stands holding his sword. He is dressed in a white robe and a patterned headpiece. Scattered on the ground before him are numerous defeated Baroque Works agents, groaning in pain with a "Thud!" sound effect. An off-screen voice says, "Such a pity... You've rendered my precious employees unable to work..." Pell looks sternly to the side and replies, "That's absolutely unacceptable. Enough blather." The scene shifts to show Miss All-Sunday (Nico Robin) standing casually with her hand on her hip, while Princess Vivi sits on the ground nearby, looking tense. Miss All-Sunday continues, "Would that be acceptable with you? In any case, I'd like to invite the princess to our organization's base but,"

Miss All-Sunday continues speaking to Princess Vivi, saying, "A princess should never resort to such brutish behaviour, Ms. Wednesday. Now, now." Suddenly, Vivi lunges forward, swinging her Peacock Slasher weapon at Miss All-Sunday. With a swift "GRAB!" sound effect, Miss All-Sunday effortlessly catches the sharp weapon barehanded. Vivi glares fiercely and yells, "DON'T YOU UNDERESTIMATE ME!" Miss All-Sunday calmly replies, "Oh, you mean Mr. 8..." Vivi's face fills with rage and sweat as she thinks of Igaram, shouting, "I WON'T FORGET WHAT YOU DID TO IGARAM...!" Miss All-Sunday smiles condescendingly and says, "How hypocritical...! After all, how is it any different from what you did to my employees down there? Is it really something to lose your temper over?" Nearby, Pell overhears this exchange and looks completely shocked, his eyes wide as he realizes, "WAS SHE THE ONE WHO KILLED IGARAM!?...!?"

With a swift and forceful motion, Miss All-Sunday easily overpowers Princess Vivi. A large "SWISH" sound effect accompanies the action as Miss All-Sunday throws Vivi backward. Vivi's Peacock Slasher weapon clatters away as she is sent flying through the air. Watching this unfold, Pell screams out in panic, his mouth wide open in a desperate yell: "PRINCESS VIVI!" Miss All-Sunday stands calmly, looking down with a cold, unbothered expression on her face. On the ground, Vivi lands hard, clutching herself and groaning in pain with an "UGH...!" as she struggles to recover from the throw.

Enraged by the attack on Princess Vivi, Pell leaps high into the air toward the large casino building. As he ascends, he transforms, shouting, "YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT!" Down below, Miss All-Sunday crosses her arms in front of her chest, her fingers raised in a specific pose. She smiles confidently and calls out her attack: "TRES FLEUR! (Three Flowers) YOUR CORPSE SHALL DISINTEGRATE TO DUST!" High above, Pell is now fully transformed into his half-falcon hybrid form, soaring through the sky. Miss All-Sunday lets out a sinister laugh, "Ahahaha!" as a sudden "THUD!" sound effect indicates her power taking hold of the flying warrior.

High in the air, Pell flies in his full falcon-human hybrid form, his large wings spread wide. Suddenly, multiple human arms sprout directly out of his back and wings with loud "BLOOM!" sound effects. Pell is caught completely off guard, exclaiming "!!?" in shock. The sprouted hands immediately grab onto his wings and limbs with a tight "GRAB!!" sound, immobilizing him mid-flight. Pell's face contorts in confusion and panic as he gasps, "WHA?" Unable to fly, Pell plummets toward the ground. Miss All-Sunday stands calmly with her arms still crossed, not even looking back as Pell crashes violently into the earth behind her, kicking up a massive cloud of dust and debris with loud "CRASH" and "THUD" sound effects.

Pell lies on the ground, having reverted to his human form. He coughs violently, struggling to lift his head as he calls out, "PRINCESS VIVI? ARE YOU HURT!?" Vivi rushes to his side, looking deeply concerned as she cries, "PELL!" Miss All-Sunday stands nearby, casually brushing off the incident. "Oh, don't get so mad. It was just a little joke," she says. Pell, still on the ground, glares at her and asks, "Are you a devil fruit user!?" Miss All-Sunday smiles mysteriously. Vivi demands, "What did you do!?" Miss All-Sunday chuckles, "Fufufu... Did it look like I really killed her? Hahaha..." To demonstrate, Miss All-Sunday holds out her arm, and another arm sprouts directly from it with a popping sound. She explains, "I can sprout any part of my body like a flower like so. This is my power. That's right, I ate the 'Hana Hana Fruit.'" A small footnote explains that *Hana means Flower.

Miss All-Sunday strikes an elegant pose, demonstrating the full extent of her Devil Fruit powers. Multiple arms sprout from her back, fanning out like the limbs of a multi-armed goddess. She looks down confidently and says, "As long as I can sprout any part of my body anywhere I choose, You can't run away from me." She then smiles slightly and adds, "I see... Well, I'm sorry to hear that." Pell, battered but resolute, glares at her fiercely. "I'LL AVENGE IGARAM'S DEATH RIGHT HERE AND NOW!" he declares. "Me? Run away!? That's absurd!" Miss All-Sunday turns her back to them, beginning to walk away toward the large casino building in the distance. "I'm afraid I don't have any spare time," she says dismissively. "For you see, as much as I'd love to play with you,"

Pell charges furiously at Miss All-Sunday, his sword drawn and ready to strike. "DON'T WORRY, I'LL END THIS QUICKLY!" he yells. Miss All-Sunday glances back over her shoulder with a calm, almost bored expression, murmuring, "What a fool..." As Pell sprints forward, Miss All-Sunday uses her power again. "SEIS FLEUR! (Six Flowers)" she calls out. Suddenly, six arms sprout directly onto Pell's body. The hands grab his arms, legs, and head with tight "GRIP!" and "GRAB!" sound effects. Pell grunts in surprise, "UGH!!!?" Miss All-Sunday smiles confidently. "Such things are irrelevant against me. 'Speed'..." Pell struggles helplessly as the arms lock his limbs in place. "'Power,'" she continues. Watching in absolute horror, Princess Vivi realizes what is happening and screams, "A SUBMISSION HOLD!?"

With Pell completely immobilized by the six arms sprouted on his body, Miss All-Sunday executes her finishing move. She stands tall and commands, "CLUTCH!" The arms attached to Pell forcefully bend his back backward at a severe, unnatural angle. Pell screams in sheer agony as a loud "CRACK!" sound effect echoes through the air, indicating his spine being violently bent or broken. The force of the attack is immense. In the next panel, Pell collapses to the ground, completely defeated and motionless. Miss All-Sunday stands over his fallen body, her posture relaxed. Princess Vivi watches the brutal defeat of Alabasta's strongest warrior and screams in absolute terror, her hands flying to her face as she gasps, "GASP...!!"

Princess Vivi screams in despair, "PELL! THIS CAN'T BE!" as she looks at the fallen warrior. Miss All-Sunday stands over Pell's motionless body, looking down with a condescending smirk. "It seems that the 'Strongest Warrior of Alabasta' isn't worth much. Fufu..." she mocks. Turning her attention back to Vivi, Miss All-Sunday says, "The boss and your companions are all waiting for you," Vivi stares back, trembling and terrified, whispering, "It can't..." Miss All-Sunday gestures forward, "Now then, let's get going..." The scene transitions to a wide exterior shot of the massive Rain Dinners casino, a giant pyramid-shaped building with a crocodile statue on top, surrounded by palm trees. Text bubbles set the scene for the next location: "Inside a cage, At Rain Dinners..."

Inside a large, sturdy cage at Rain Dinners, Usopp and Luffy are goofing around. Usopp has a scarf wrapped around his head and is holding a stick like a cigarette, doing an impression. "Was it you who ate the meat!? Look at me, I'm Sanji," he jokes, while Luffy laughs hysterically beside him. Nami, however, is absolutely furious. She screams at them with sharp teeth, "WOULD IT KILL YOU TO BE A LITTLE MORE SERIOUS!? WE'RE TRAPPED IN A FREAKIN' CAGE RIGHT NOW FOR GOD'S SAKE!" In the background, Zoro is peacefully sleeping on the floor. Nami continues her tirade, pointing angrily, "YOU SHOULD BE SERIOUS BECAUSE WE'RE TRAPPED! WE COULD DIE LIKE THIS, YOU KNOW! AND WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SLEEPING?" Usopp, completely unfazed, replies calmly, "Yeah, we know! But we've got nothing else to do BECAUSE we're trapped!"

Nami glares angrily through the bars of the cage. From outside, a deep voice remarks, "Quite a spirited girl, aren't you..." Inside the cage, Zoro finally wakes up, looking groggy and annoyed. "What, is it morning already?" he asks. Nami immediately yells at him, "IT'S ALWAYS BEEN MORNING!" Luffy grabs the bars of the cage and yells out at their captor, "Because once this guy here busts out of this cage, He'll kick your ass all the way above the clouds! Right, Luffy!?" Luffy enthusiastically agrees, shouting, "YOU BET YOUR ASS!" Nami sighs in exasperation, "Oh, sure! Enjoy your little peace while it lasts!" Outside the cage, Crocodile sits comfortably at a table, smoking a thick cigar. He smiles a sinister, confident smile. "Kuhaha! It appears you've got your crew's unwavering trust, Straw-Hat Luffy... Is there anything more useless in this world? Trust..."

Crocodile's menacing face is shown up close as someone yells his name: "CROCODILE!" Inside the cage, Usopp panics, grabbing Nami to hold her back as she yells angrily, "WHAT WAS THAT!? YOU THINK YOU CAN TREAT ME LIKE AN IDIOT!?" Usopp stammers nervously, "H-hold on there, Nami or you'll really make him angry...!" A wide shot reveals the grand interior of the casino room. Crocodile sits alone at a long, elegant dining table set for a meal. Behind him is a grand staircase, and to the right is the massive cage holding the Straw Hat crew. A figure is seen walking down the stairs. Inside the cage, Smoker is also trapped, sitting quietly and smoking his cigars with a scowl. Luffy and Usopp suddenly notice the person descending the stairs and press their faces against the bars, calling out in surprise, "VIVI?" "VIVI!"

Crocodile sits at the head of the long dining table, gesturing grandly with his hook hand. "Ah, welcome at last, Princess Vivi-" he says, before correcting himself with a smirk, "Or rather, Ms. Wednesday... You've done a splendid job avoiding my assassins and making it all the way here." Princess Vivi stands before him, her face contorted in absolute fury. She glares at him and declares passionately, "IF IT MEANT SEEING YOUR DEATH, I'D COME ALL THE WAY TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH, MR. 0!" Crocodile's expression turns dark and menacing, his scarred face filling the panel as he delivers a chilling threat. "I'M AFRAID THE ONLY THING DYING YOU'LL SEE IS YOUR WORTHLESS COUNTRY, MS. WEDNESDAY..." Vivi stares back, her eyes wide with shock and anger at his cruel words.

Without hesitation, Princess Vivi launches an attack. She leaps forward, spinning her Peacock Slashers on their wires. "IF IT JUST WEREN'T FOR YOU, THIS COUNTRY WOULD STILL HAVE ITS PEACE!" she cries out. Inside the cage, Smoker watches the scene unfold with a serious expression. Next to him, Luffy and Usopp panic, gripping the bars and screaming at her, "NO, VIVI! OPEN THIS CAGE FIRST!" Ignoring them, Vivi swings her weapons with full force toward Crocodile, who remains seated calmly at the table, smoking his cigar. She calls out her attack name: "STRING SLASHER! PEACOCK," as the sharp, spinning blades hurl directly toward Crocodile's neck.

Vivi's Peacock Slasher slices cleanly through Crocodile's neck with a loud "SLICE!!" sound effect. His head is completely decapitated and falls backward off his shoulders. However, instead of blood, only sand pours from the wound. Inside the cage, Smoker watches with a stoic expression and simply states, "It's useless." Next to him, Luffy and Usopp's jaws drop in exaggerated shock as they scream, "OOOHHHH!" Vivi lands on the table, panting heavily from the exertion. To her horror, Crocodile's head seamlessly reforms from the sand, reattaching to his body as if nothing happened. He looks at her calmly and asks, "Calmed down yet, Ms. Wednesday...?"

Crocodile suddenly lunges forward and grabs Princess Vivi by the throat with his large, bare hand. A tight "GRIP!" sound effect emphasizes his hold as he lifts her slightly. "I'm sure all who live in Alabasta, yourself included," he says menacingly, "Would be well aware of the power of my 'Suna Suna Fruit'..." A small footnote explains that *Suna means sand. Crocodile glares intensely at the struggling Vivi, his face close to hers. "SHALL I DRY YOU UP INTO A MUMMY?" he threatens. Inside the cage, Luffy is furious. He grips the bars tightly and screams at the top of his lungs, "HEY YOU! GET AWAY FROM VIVI RIGHT NOW OR I'LL KICK YOUR ASS!" Beside him, Usopp is completely terrified, his eyes wide and mouth agape as he realizes the danger. "H-HE'S A SAND-HUMAN!?" he stammers in panic.

Crocodile releases his grip, dropping Princess Vivi to the floor. "It's time for the long-waited party to begin..." he announces, turning his back to her. "Or am I mistaken, Ms. All-Sunday?" He begins to walk away, adding, "Oh, don't glare at me like that. Now sit down..." Vivi collapses onto the floor, coughing and gasping for air with an "UGH!" Inside the cage, Luffy watches with a confused expression, a question mark floating above his head. Miss All-Sunday (Nico Robin) stands nearby, smiling calmly. "No, you're right on the mark..." she confirms. A series of narrative text boxes appear on the page, setting the ominous stage for the events to come: "The time is now 7 o'clock." "And so begins Baroque Works' Operation Utopia," "And the start of a very long day..."
