THE TRUTH

Kuro glares with fury, brandishing a clawed glove as he shouts, "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU ALL... DON'T FORGET, IN MY VEINS IS THE BLOOD OF A PIRATE! YOU UNDERESTIMATE ME! HOW DARE YOU HIT ME..." Background pirates react in shock. He lunges forward yelling "KYAAH! DIE!" Kaya watches in horror and cries out, "USOPP-SAN! DON'T DO THIS!" A close-up shows a sweat-drenched face with wide eyes and an intense expression amid heavy motion lines and impact SFX as someone screams "AAH!!"

Kaya sits up in bed, hand to her head with a worried expression amid SFX "HUFF... HUFF...!!" She stands, opens the door, and walks down the hallway. She knocks firmly on a door while calling out, "ARE YOU THERE, CLAHADORI" Inside the room, a figure under the covers coughs and murmurs, "I DON'T UNDERSTAND... WHY WOULD USOPP-SAN SAY SOMETHING LIKE THAT..."

A dramatic hallway scene shows a body collapsed on the floor with sheep-like curly hair, a hand reaching out. Kaya stares in shock from the doorway. Her face twists in horror as she screams "MERI!!" A close-up of the fallen figure has a speech bubble saying "ME..." while Kuro's intense eye and clenched fist appear in the final panel with heavy motion lines and impact SFX.

In a dim room, Klahadore lies collapsed on the floor, coughing violently. "COUGH... UGH..." A voice cries out desperately, "MERI! WAKE UP!! YOU CAN'T DIE! WHAT HAPPENED!!I" Kaya rushes to his side. Klahadore struggles to his feet, gasping, "OJOUSAMA... GOOD... YOU'RE SAFE..." He staggers forward as Kaya supports him. Suddenly his face twists in rage, eyes bulging, "CLAHHADOR!!!" Kaya stares in shock, sweat pouring down her face. "I'M SAFE...I WHAT... WHAT ARE YOU SAYING..."

Klahadore's face fills the panel, tears and sweat streaming down as he shouts, "HE TRIED TO KILL ME..." Kaya's eyes widen in horror. "HOW... THIS COULDN'T BE REAL!!" A flashback shows a man with glasses crying out, "IF... IF ANYTHING HAPPENED TO YOU... I WOULD FEEL LIKE I HAD BETRAYED YOUR PARENTS!" Kaya covers her mouth, "HE... WHA...I!" In the empty room, Kaya kneels alone beside the blood-like stain. A large caption declares, "HE'S A PIRATE!"

Kaya stands over the fallen Klahadore. "HE ALONE KNEW THE TRUTH, AND TRIED EVERYTHING TO WARN US... BUT WE..." She recalls yesterday, "ALL THAT STUFF USOPP-SAN SAID WAS TRUE...!I" A villager in a cap screams at her, "JUST... TAKE THIS CHANCE TO RUN! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME! WE'VE MISUNDERSTOOD THAT MAN'S GOOD INTENTIONS... AFTER TOMORROW, YOU WILL KNOW THE TRUTH! NONE OF US BELIEVED ANYTHING HE SAID!" Another voice adds, "HE TRIED SO HARD TO SAVE THIS VILLAGE BUT INSTEAD WAS CHASED AWAY! THAT BRAVE YOUNG MAN,"

Kaya weeps, tears streaming, "WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE FOR HIM..." Klahadore lies coughing on the floor. "IT'S NO USE... EVERYONE WENT ON VACATION STARTING YESTERDAY! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP... MERI'S..." He looks up at Kaya and says, "ALSO, BEFORE EVERYTHING HAPPENS, WE NEED TO THINK CALMLY AND DECIDE WHAT WE HAVE TO DO NOW..." Kaya replies softly, "MERI!I I'M YOUR SERVANT, HOW CAN I LET YOU DO MY DUTIES FOR MEI THEN... I'LL GET SOME HELP..."

Inside the mansion, Merry sweats heavily and declares, "NOT ONLY OUR LIVES, BUT THE LIVES OF THE VILLAGERS ARE ALSO IN DANGER". He continues, "THEN, HE MUST HAVE GONE TO THE SHORE TO JOIN HIS COMRADES" and "IF... WHAT USOPP SAID WAS TRUE... JUST NOW, I SAW CLAHADOR WALK OUT THE DOOR...". Kaya clenches her fist and announces, "I'M GOING TO GO TALK TO CLAHADOR RIGHT NOW!". Merry replies from behind, "I UNDERSTAND. I WON'T RUN AWAY!" while adding nervously, "EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T REALLY HAVE TO... CAN YOU DO ITI". Kaya answers firmly, "I KNOW!". Outside, a villager wonders, "EHI THAT BUTLER WENT TO THE SHOREI". At the shore, the three Usopp Pirates members stand by a tree; one says, "NOW ISN'T THE TIME TO SLEEP. SOMETHING AWFUL MIGHT BE ABOUT TO HAPPEN", another replies, "BUT NORMALLY I'M SLEEPING THIS TIME OF DAY...", and the third yells, "HEY NINJIN! WAKE UP!" as the boy on the ground snores.

The three boys continue talking under the tree. One declares, "ME TOO! BECAUSE HE WAS ACTING KINDA WEIRD YESTERDAY!" while another agrees, "I THINK SO TOO!". A bespectacled boy shouts, "I THINK CAPTAIN WAS LYING WHEN HE SAID THAT IT WAS JUST A LIE... I THINK PIRATES ARE REALLY COMING TO ATTACK THE VILLAGE!". Meanwhile, Kaya walks alone through the village street holding a long rifle, breathing heavily with "HUFF..." sound effects around her. The three boys spot her and react in surprise: "THAT'S... EH!I", "SOMETHING MUST'VE HAPPENED!", "WHAT'S SHE DOING WALKING OUT...", and "IT'S KAYA-SAN...".

A massive impact erupts at the rocky shore with the huge SFX "ゴオオオオオオ..." as a dark figure leaps through debris. SFX: GOOOO.... A boy with glasses stands ready with a sword and wonders, "WHAT'S GOING TO COME OUT NOW...". Nearby, two figures lie on the ground snoring with "ZZZ...". One of the prone pirates lifts his head slightly and threatens with a sinister grin, "YOU'LL ALL BE KILLED...... HEH HEH..." while the other continues sleeping.

A cloaked figure stands atop the ship with arms raised, shouting dramatically, "NYABAN BROTHERS!" and "COME DOWN..." as impact lines radiate outward. Below, small figures on the deck react with surprise. "OKAY! LET'S GO!" one calls. Others question the delay: "WHY ARE THEY STILL HEREI" "WHATI THEY HAVEN'T GONE TO THE VILLAGE YETI" "HEY! THE CAPTAIN IS CALLING FOR US!" A large sound effect "だだんっ!!" erupts as the ship is shown from afar. In the final panel, crew members notice something wrong: "THAT'S WEIRD... LET'S GO DOWN AND CHECK!" "HEY! LOOK! EVERYONE HAS BEEN DEFEATED!"

Two figures leap down from a high ledge with dramatic sound effects "スタ" and "タッ...!!". A large man with a cat-like mask and striped outfit lands heavily, identified by a label as "KURO NEKO'S PIRATE CREW: SHIP GUARDIAN BUCHI". Beside him stands a lean man with curly hair and claws, labeled "KURO NEKO'S PIRATE CREW: SHIP GUARDIAN SHAM". Buchi asks, "WHAT'S UPI" Sham inquires, "CAPTAIN, YOU CALLED FOR USI" A speech bubble from above greets them: "HELLO, NYABAN BROTHERS".

Usopp in a black mask watches from the trees, thinking "WOW... JUMPING FROM SO HIGH... THEY'RE LIKE CATS..." Kaya and an older man react with shock: "WHAT ARE THEYI" In the forest path, Kuro orders Buchi and Sham, "...BECAUSE THOSE GUYS ARE BLOCKING OUR WAY! NOW GO AND DESTROY THEM! BUCHI, SHAM... WE COULDN'T PASS THROUGH THIS SLOPE..." Buchi growls, "YEAH! THOSE GUYS LOOK REALLY STRONG!" while Sham worries, "WHATI! HOW CAN WE... BUCHI, WE CAN'T BEAT THEM..."

Usopp's group watches nervously from hiding. Kaya notes, "THEY BOTH SEEM SCARED...." Usopp mutters, "I DON'T KNOW..." The older man wonders, "WHAT'S GOING ONI AREN'T THEY GOODI" Buchi and Sham panic and protest: "EH!I WHY ME!I" "SHAM! GO NOW!" "YEA! WE DON'T WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THESE KIND OF BATTLES!" "WE'RE JUST... THE SHIP'S WATCHMEN!" Kaya asks in confusion, "WHAT'S GOING ONI WHY ARE THEY MAKING THOSE COWARDS FIGHTI" Kuro demands, "WHAT'S GOING ONI AREN'T THEY SUPPOSED TO BE STRONGI" Buchi and Sham finally charge forward with a loud "ズレェ!!" as one yells, "OKAY! I'M GOING!" "GO!"

Roronoa Zoro stands ready with his sword drawn on a wooden walkway as a small clawed figure leaps in the distance. The clawed fighter lunges forward with arms raised, shouting, "MY CLAWS ARE REALLY SHARP!! PREPARE TO DIE....!!" while motion lines and impact effects burst around him. Zoro glares back and replies, "WHAT CAN YOU DO TO ME WITH THOSE CLAWS...I" The attacker presses on, declaring, "JUST YOUI YOU CAN'T KILL ME..." Zoro's eyes narrow as he warns, "IF YOU DON'T STOP NOW, I'LL ATTACK YOU!" A massive claw slash erupts across the panel with a loud "グィィィ" sound effect. Zoro's face twists in shock, eyes wide as he gasps, "WHAT!I"

The clawed fighter, now revealed in a black cat-like outfit, leaps onto Zoro from above with a powerful downward strike. Massive impact lines and "ガキッ" effects explode as the attacker pins Zoro's sword. The fighter taunts, "THAT I'M JUST A COWARDI YOU MUST BE THINKING..." Zoro grits his teeth and mutters, "YOU..." In a sudden reversal, Zoro breaks free and slashes upward. The attacker is sent flying backward with a dramatic "ズシャッ" sound. A woman with glasses appears in the background, explaining, "IF I DIDN'T, THEN YOU WOULDN'T HAVE LEFT YOUR GUARD DOWN! I WAS JUST PRETENDING TO BE A COWARD." Zoro stares in surprise at the turn of events.

Zoro looks around in confusion, asking, "WHERE DID THEY GO! EH..." A blonde girl stares in shock, exclaiming, "ZORO!I YOUR KATA-NAS..." while a wide-eyed curly-haired man yells, "SO HE WAS JUST ACTING SCAREDI!" The cat-masked fighter stands confidently with a smirk, declaring, "WHATI ARE YOU MISSING SOMETHINGI YOU LOOK LIKE YOU MIGHT HAVE A FEW SKILLS! BUT YOU UNDERESTIMATED ME, SHAM OF THE NYABAN BROTHERS." He adds, "I DON'T KNOW WHERE THEY WENT!!" In a close-up, a man with a top hat sweats nervously, thinking, "STOLE MY KATA-NAS......!! THAT BAS-TARD..." while a grinning figure labeled "CAT BURGLAR" points and shouts, "THERE IT IS!"
