The Devil That Came from the Ice Country

In conclusion, a panel shows Brook's skull again as the speaker states, "IN CONCLUSION, TO BEAT A ZOMBIE, PLEASE STUFF SALT INTO THEIR MOUTH!! THAT IS THE TRICK!!" TO BECOMING THE 'PIRATE KING.'" Someone off to the side shouts "HOGBACK....!!!" Moria laughs wildly, "KISHISHI SHISHISHI!!!" In the background stand several figures including a small girl in a frilly dress and a tall figure in a top hat. Hogback, the doctor with the long beak-like mask, appears in close-up, eyes wide with excitement. He exclaims, "IF WE PUT THIS SHADOW INSIDE HIM, HE'LL BECOME THE STRONGEST ZOMBIE IN HISTORY!! HE WILL SURELY BECOME A GREAT POWER FOR US TO USE!!" and adds, "I'VE WORKED ON NUMBER 900 SINCE THE DAY WE MET ON THIS DAY EXACTLY 10 YEARS AGO." SFX フク フク punctuate his words.

Perona smiles brightly amid a chaotic collage of cute zombie creatures, declaring, "AND CREATING MY DREAM KINGDOM OF LOYAL SUBORDINATES!!" and "MY GOAL OF TURNING ALL THE CUTE THINGS IN THE WORLD INTO ZOMBIES." The scene shifts to a massive circular door labeled 900. Moria orders, "OPEN THE DOOR TO THE SPECIAL FREEZER!!" A subordinate answers, "YES, MASTER!!" Moria laughs, "SHALL WE TRY AWAKENING HIMI KISHISHISHI!!!" while SFX GYORO! NIN! BAO!! erupt from the opening mechanism.

Absalom shouts, "YES!!" and orders, "SPIDER MICE!! GO THROW STRAWHAT LUFFY'S BODY ONTO THE SHIP. DON'T FORGET TO TAKE THE ROPE OFF OF HIM. WE CAN'T LET HIM DIE YET." Luffy's motionless body lies on the floor nearby. Absalom then growls in disbelief, "... IT'S IMPOSSIBLE THAT HIS SHADOW WAS EXTRACTED... BEATENI" A narration box recalls, "A SHORT WHILE AGO, CAPTAIN 'SPIDER MONKEY' TALLAREN WAS BEATEN!!" In a flashback panel, the defeated captain stands alone in ruins. Absalom's expression twists in shock as he realizes, "ABSALOM... THE ONLY MAN WHO COULD DO SUCH A THING IS HIM...!!!" Nearby zombies panic, "I! HIS SHADOW WAS EXTRACTED!!!"

THE CULPRIT IS THE CHIVALROUS SWORDSMAN, 'HUMMING'!!" Absalom and others react in alarm. Perona exclaims, "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT HE LOOKS LIKEI!" A masked figure adds, "I'VE HEARD THE STORIES, BUT WHAT KIND OF GUY IS HEI" Absalom growls, "DAMN... THE ONLY MAN WHO HAS EXPOSED US HAS FOUND THE ZOMBIES' WEAK POINT. HE'LL HAVE NO PROBLEM PASSING RIGHT THROUGH OUR SURVEILLANCE!" Perona questions a woman, "HEY... CINDY-CHAN, WHY ARE YOU IN FRONT OF ME...I" The woman replies nervously. Absalom demands, "HOW ON EARTH WAS IT EXPOSED... AND HOW DID HE RETURN HERE AGAINI!" A large zombie roars, "JUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!" while another voice snaps, "AS IF I CARE ABOUT SUCH A THING, YOU STUPID BASTARD." Absalom orders, "WELL, LET'S GO TO THE FREEZER!!" as a small zombie stammers, "AH... WAIT."

Inside the frozen passageway to Zombie Number 900's special freezer, a voice exclaims, "I'M SO EXCITED..." The scene shifts to a grand chamber where Gecko Moria stands dramatically before a massive frozen form. His crew reacts with terror as narration recounts the legend: "HE TURNED THE COUNTRY THAT ARRESTED HIM INTO HIS OWN TERRITORY, AND BUILT A COUNTRY OF VILLAINS. MY BREATH CAUGHT WHEN I HEARD THAT DREADFUL THING ROAMED THE SEA 500 YEARS AGO...!!! I COULDN'T STOP SHIVERING. WHEN I SAW HIS BODY IN THE 'ICE COUNTRY,' IT'S COLD." Moria declares, "THE RINGLEADER THAT LEFT BEHIND THE 'LEGEND OF A MAN WHO INFLUENCED A COUNTRY' WAS IN THERE...!!!" In the lower panels, Moria raises his arms and shouts, "THE ONLY ONE IN HISTORY... NOW...!!! IT'S TIME TO REVIVE HIM!! WE'LL STOP THAT LEGEND ONCE AGAIN, KISHISHISHISHI!!! THIS IS THE GREATEST OF ALL THE ZOMBIES I HAVE CREATED..."

The colossal zombie Oz bursts free from its chains in a massive explosion of ice and debris. Its stitched body is marked "S-900" as it towers over the chamber. Moria stands below with arms outstretched, proclaiming, "THE MAD WARRIOR THAT WAS CALLED THE 'DEVIL' HIMSELF!!!" The giant zombie roars, "OZ"!!!! while smaller figures including Moria's subordinates scatter in panic amid the destruction.
