Perona's Wonder Garden

Armored zombies stand guard before a massive gothic gate. One shouts "GARU RURU!!!" while another declares "THEY AREN'T EVEN WORTHY ENEMIES FOR THE LIKES OF YOU, GENERAL ZOMBIES!!!" and a third orders "STAY ALERT AND HUNT THEM DOWN, NO MATTER WHERE THEY MIGHT TRY TO RUN!!" SFX "ガチン" and "ザチン ガチン" ring out. In the distance a cloaked figure walks through the archway. A smaller panel shows the cloaked figure walking away as someone mutters "...DAMN, HE'S SO HOPELESS." Another panel reveals a scarred woman with a black creature, sighing "AB-SAMA ♡". Nearby, a bearded man in a helmet sweats "HUUUUP..." while a long-haired man taunts "HMM...I HEY, DON'T BE SUCH A SLOWPOKE, CAPTAIN JOHN! YOUR INFAMOUS, LIFE-TIME REPUTATION ALL OVER THE WORLD IS CRYING!!" Captain John replies "AYE, AYE... I'M GOING, HUHEHE!!!" SFX include "ズズ..." and snoring "Zzz".

A massive boar-like zombie in a wedding dress looms with hearts, shouting "GYAAAA, LOLA!!! MARRY ME---" while a man in a cap yells "GYAAAA, LOLA!!!". The boar zombie pleads "MARRY ME!!!" as Lola retorts "THINK ABOUT IT, LOLA!! YOU'RE A FEMALE WARTHOG, AND A ZOMBIE TO BOOT!!! YOU'RE DEAD AND STINKY!!!" and "DON'T FUCK WITH ME!!! I'M A HUMAN!! SO I'LL TAKE A FEMALE HUMAN FOR MY BRIDE." The boar demands "WHY!!I SO MARRY ME!!!" while another voice shouts "GET OUT AND FIGHT ALREADY!!! I'M THE COMMANDER!!!". In a side panel the boar zombie signs a "Marriage registration" document as Lola protests "SAAA..." and a small creature reacts "HUHI" "HA!". SFX "ドン" and "さっ!" appear.

The boar-like zombie lunges forward yelling "HERE GOES!!!" as Lola screams "WOOAH, LET GO!!!" and fires "BAH!!" with a gun. SFX "ドンッ!!!" explodes. In the next panels Lola cries "I DON'T FEEL LIKE BEING HAUNTED BY A DEAD ANIMAL FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!!" while the boar grabs her hand "WOAH!!" "GIVE ME YOUR FINGER!!! I LOVE YOU, ABSALOM!!!". A bystander shouts "THAT...!! THAT WAS TERRIBLE!! WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO PULL BY GETTING ME TO SIGN THAT MARRIAGE REGISTRATION WITHOUT CONSENT!!I". The boar admits "OH... I JUST CAN'T HOLD IT WITH THAT WILD MOUTH OF YOURS...". The struggle continues with Lola yelling "TO!!!" "WHA!!" "HAH!!!" as the boar counters "CHUBABA!!!" "CHUBA" amid "Bridal Martial Arts!! KISS OF THE VOW!!!" and impact SFX "ドンッ" "バチバチ" "ハッ".

Absalom looms forward with a massive clawed hand outstretched, declaring his intentions. "I'VE ALREADY DECIDED ON THE WOMAN I'M GONNA MARRY!!" he shouts. "I, YOU SEE...!!!" A smaller bubble adds, "SHE'S STRONG-WILLED, BUT SHE'S A REFINED AND WEAK WOMAN DEEP INSIDE!!" He laughs, "HA." Off-panel voices cry, "WAIT! LOLA, LISTEN TO ME!!!" In the next tier, a stitched-face woman with pigtails glares and says, "I CAN'T ALLOW THAT." Absalom continues, "WITH THIS, YOUR CURSE OVER ME IS OVER... SHE'S ONE OF THE PIRATES THAT LANDED ON THIS ISLAND... SHE'S SO BEAUTIFUL THAT SHE'S FITTING TO BE MY BRIDE!!" A voice mocks, "MORON, LOOK!!!" The bottom panel erupts as a massive stitched bull-like zombie head fills the frame, roaring, "STOP IT!! WAIT, LOLAAAA!!!" while a tiny Absalom is sent flying in the background. The bull bellows, "I'LL ERASE THAT WOMAN!!!"

Perona stands on a balcony overlooking the grand hall, issuing orders. "GO RECEIVE THEM AND... TAKE THEM TO THE DANCE HALL! GOT ITI" she commands. "THE SQUIRREL-KEY BROTHERS ARE CARRYING THE COFFINS HERE." A voice answers, "HEY, BEARSY!!!" Perona continues, "TO COMMAND THE TREASURE RECOVERY GROUP. I'M GOING TO THE SHIP RIGHT NOW... IF SOMETHING HAPPENS, LET ME KNOW. GOT IT!I" The bear-like zombie replies, "UNDERSTOOD!!I" and is scolded, "DON'T ANSWER!! YOU AREN'T CUTE!!" In the lower panels, Perona whispers to the small bear zombie Kumashi, who reacts with shock. "YOU!! YOU JUST WHISPERED, DIDN'T YOU!!I" she accuses. Kumashi sweats, "HAVE A GOOD TRIP..." Perona beams, "FULL...!!! THAT'S RIGHT! YOU'RE CUTE WHEN YOU'RE QUIET!!" while the striped bear zombie stares in silence.

Two small squirrel-like zombies strain to carry a massive black coffin down the stairs. "TAKE THIS, TAKE THIS TO THE MASTER!!" one yells. "HE HOO! HE HOO!" they chant as "KYA KY A." echoes. The coffin slips. "DANGEROUS!!" a voice warns as the coffin tumbles, "ZURU," sending the squirrels flying. In the bottom panel the two Risky Brothers sit dazed on the ground, staring up in horror. "THE THING WE NEED TO DELIVER TO THE MASTER!!" one cries. "OH NO!! IT FELL!" the other panics. "OH NO, WE'VE DONE IT!!"

The fallen coffin bursts open. "WAH, HE WOKE UP! THIS IS BAD!!" a squirrel screams. "THE COFFIN OPENED!!!" "KICK IT QUICKLY!! KICK IT AND KILL IT!!!" they shout. A bandaged zombie in a top hat lunges, "'LRIIIIIIGHT!!!" striking the emerging figure. "WHA AAAA AAH!!!" the victim howls. Nearby, a small stitched figure peeks from cover, thinking, "LET'S HALF-KILL HIM!! SO LET'S ONLY HALF-KILL HIM!! IT'LL BE BAD IF WE KILL HIM!! THIS PLACE IS..." A massive fist swings down with a "BOHAA AAAAA!!!" impact. "YOU LITTLE!!!" the enormous attacker roars as the squirrels tumble away.

Inside the strange mansion, Usopp and Nami lie unconscious on the floor as a massive stitched bear zombie looms over them. A voice shouts, "OPEN YOUR EYES!" Another yells, "HEY!! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER!!" and "AH!! USOPP, NAMI!!!" The bear growls, "GAHUU!!!" while someone mutters, "...!!!" In the next sequence the samurai zombie stands with his sword, saying "ZUKI ZUKI..." A bandaged figure notes, "BY THE SAMURAI..." The samurai realizes, "...!!! IT HURTS... HMMI FOR SURE, WE..." while a short-haired woman groans, "... UGH..." and remarks, "... SO IT WAS WITH THE BACK OF HIS SWORD, HUH...!!!" Outside, the group reacts in panic. Usopp shouts, "TROUBLE! LET'S CALL OUR FRIENDS!!" Someone yells, "DAMN, THOSE 3 WOKE UP!!" A large impact SFX "ドゴォォ!!" erupts as the bear and another creature tumble. The top-hatted man exclaims, "WOAH! AREN'T THOSE COFFINS!I" while the woman observes, "IN THOSE BOXES BY THOSE SQUIRRELS." The top-hatted man adds, "I DON'T QUITE UNDERSTAND, BUT WE WERE CARRIED..." Nami concludes, "THIS PLACE IS... OUTSIDE... THERE WAS A LITTLE RAIN, SO THE GROUND IS WET."

Usopp suddenly notices something behind them and shouts, "... HEY, BEHIND!!" The top-hatted man realizes, "WE'VE BEEN CARRIED QUITE A DISTANCE..." They gaze up at a towering gothic mansion. Someone identifies, "HOGBACK'S RESEARCH AREA WAS ON THE TOP FLOOR." Nami notes, "THIS LOOKS LIKE... THE BACK OF THE MANSION." The group stares in shock at an enormous round tower-like structure. Usopp cries, "WHAT'S THAT...I! BEHIND THE MANSION..." while others react with "!!I" and "ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE, THERE'S A WEIRDER BUILDING!!" A massive impact SFX "ドドド" shakes the scene. The braided woman gasps, "THERE WAS SUCH A HUGE BUILDING...!!!" In the lower panels, a small figure watches from a window as SFX "ゴォォォ" echoes. The top-hatted man says, "... I KNOW WHAT KIND OF PLACE THIS IS...!!!" while Nami reacts in surprise, "NAMI...!I"

The group stares at a massive stone bridge connecting the mansion to the strange tower. Someone exclaims, "THIS IS THE BRIDGE CONNECTING THE MANSION AND THIS BUILDING." Nami shouts, "... IT'S REALLY WIDE!! IT'S AN ENTIRE FOREST!!" while Usopp yells, "BRIDGE!I" Large SFX "ゴゴゴォォオオ" rumble across the bridge. The top-hatted man deduces, "MEANING THAT WE WERE OBVIOUSLY ABOUT TO BE BROUGHT TO THAT BUILDING." He continues, "... WELL, EVEN IF THIS FOREST IS WEIRD AND ALL... WHEN WE LOST CONSCIOUSNESS, WE WERE BROUGHT HERE," as the braided woman adds, "WE MIGHT HAVE BEEN TAKEN THERE TO BE TURNED INTO ZOMBIES!!" Usopp screams in terror, "GYAAAA AAAAAA!!!"

Nami worries, "THIS ISN'T SMART... RUNNING AWAY AFTER WE MADE SUCH A SCENE FROM BEING SCARED... WE'LL ONLY MEET WITH MORE SCARY EXPERIENCES..." Usopp suggests, "WAIT A MINUTE..." The top-hatted man panics, "THAT'S RIGHT, LET'S RUN RIGHT NOW!!... BUT WHERE TOI" Someone replies, "THEN IT'S LUCKY THAT WE WOKE UP!! LET'S RUN!!" Nami decides, "THE STORE-HOUSE FOR TREASURES ISN'T HERE!!!" recalling, "THE WORDS THAT ZOMBIE SAID BACK THEN..." The top-hatted man suddenly senses danger, "WHAAAA!! THERE'S A STRONG RESPONSE IN MY 'SOMETHING-IS-BAD SENSOR'!!!" Usopp yells, "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!I YOU!!!" Nami urges, "DON'T THINK ABOUT SUCH STUPID THINGS! LET'S JUST RUN!!" and "DON'T SAY ANYTHING! WE'LL JUST RUN, NAMI!" In the final spread the top-hatted man suggests, "WE MIGHT MEET THAT SAMURAI AGAIN, AND I DON'T LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT." Nami considers, "THAT'S SOMETHING TO PONDER ABOUT... IF WE RETURN TO THE MANSION,... SO WHICH WAY SHOULD WE RUNI FRONTI BACKI" The top-hatted man warns, "BUT IF WE GO FORWARD, WE MIGHT EVEN MEET SOMEONE EVEN SCARIER." Nami snaps back at Usopp, "BUT YOUR EYES ARE WEIRD!!!" while Usopp retorts, "MORONS, I KNOW!! I'M SCARED TOO!"

Nami stares in disbelief at three small penguin-like figures dancing in the forest clearing. "HUH... WHATI THOSE LOVABLE FOREST ANIMALS... PENGUINS!I" she exclaims. The figures spin and pose as musical notes float around them. "NUMBERS!!" someone shouts. The penguins line up and count down: "3..." "AH!" "2!!" "KURURI!" "1!!" They transform, revealing stitched zombie faces beneath top hats and bow ties. SFX erupt: "WAN!" "BAN!!" "BAN!!" The lead penguin-zombie trio declares, "LIKE WE CARE ABOUT YOUR MEMBERS' SITUATIONS!!!" and "AND THE ONES BEHIND YOU ARE OUR NAKAMA WILD ZOMBIES!!" Franky stands with his back to the viewer while Nami watches in shock. A voice trails off, "WEEELL..." as Nami cries, "NOOO..."

A massive gate swings open, revealing an army of stitched animal zombies. A huge banner reads "TO PERONA-SAMA'S 'WONDER GARDEN'!!" as the creatures cheer "WELCOME..." Nami, Franky, and Usopp stand frozen in the foreground. The zombies include a massive stitched bear, a sword-wielding horse, a boxing zebra, rabbits, a gorilla, and many others, all marked with numbers. Panic erupts as the horde surges forward. Nami screams "KYA AAAA AAAA AAAA!!" while Usopp yells "GYA AAAA AAAA AAAA!!" The zombies shout "AND TIE THEM UP!!!" "JUST BEAT THEM..." and "THEY'RE WEIRD TO THE POINT OF LOATHING!!" Impact lines and motion effects fill the panel as the group is surrounded.

Usopp fires his slingshot at point-blank range. "HISSATSU!!!" he yells as the impact sends a zombie flying. "THAT'S RIGHT, THEY ARE ZOMBIES TOO!!" Nami realizes in alarm. "THIS IS BAD!!" Usopp is urged, "USOPP, FIRE!! FIRE!!!" Chopper appears mid-leap, shouting "USOPP!!" and striking with "DORYAA!!!" A massive "HORAN!!" rings out. Suddenly a chain-wielding arm swings from behind: "CHOPPER, LOOK OUT BEHIND YOU!!!" Chopper is struck hard, "BUHAA!!!" Nami watches in horror as the fight intensifies.

A massive hippo zombie looms over Nami, roaring "WE'LL HALF-KILL YOU, TOO!!!" She gasps "AH!" Nearby panels show Usopp and Chopper under attack. Nami calls out desperately, "CHOPPER, USOPP!!!" Chopper and Usopp are slammed by heavy blows. A large "STOP IT!!!" balloon erupts as the hippo zombie is struck from the side, its jaw cracking open with "!!I" and "NUNN..." Impact stars and motion lines explode across the spread while Nami's expression shifts from fear to determination.

Zombies surround a short-haired woman in a flowing dress amid a misty garden. One zombie declares, "I DON'T KNOW WHO THAT LADY IS, BUT... EVEN IF IT'S UNDER THE MASTER'S ORDERS..." Another shouts, "THE ENEMY IS THAT HUMAN!! KICK THE CRAP OUT OF HER!!!" A third yells, "HEY, NEW GUY!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO YOUR NAKAMA!I" The woman stands calmly as the dog-like zombie in a striped hat and bow tie refuses, declaring in large letters, "I WON'T KICK A WOMAN!!!" He adds, "EVEN IF I DIE...!!!" The zombies react in shock with "!!I" and motion lines. In the next panel the dog zombie is struck, shouting "FUCKING ZOMBIES!!!" while the woman watches with wide eyes. Other zombies exclaim "...!I" and "COME AT ME..." as one threatens, "IF YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN,..." The woman replies with a soft "... HUHI"

Luffy and a large man carrying a squealing pig burst from a grand, multi-story building as distant voices call "HEEEY!!!" and "HEEE EEEE-EEEY!!!" A woman in a dark outfit stands nearby. The pig-headed figure protests, "I TOLD YOU FROM THE START! I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!!" while the large man retorts, "AREN'T YOU LAUGHINGI YOU SHAMELESS FELLOW...!!!" and "HEY!! 'BUHI'*! YOU DID SOMETHING AGAIN, RIGHT!I" The woman notes, "THAT'S WEIRD... THERE AREN'T ANY VOICES... MAYBE THEY WERE STRANGLED TO DEATH..." and questions, "WHY ARE YOUR CIRCUITS ALWAYS WIRED SO OMINOUSLY!!I" Luffy, looking concerned, says, "ZORO DISAPPEARED TOO!!" and "THIS IS WEIRD.....!!" A note explains "*BUHI IS THE SOUND PIG MAKES IN JAPANESE" as the group reacts to the eerie silence.
