Tennozan: Turning Point

In the Flower Capital of Wano, the Fire Festival blazes on while Onigashima rumbles far above in the distance. Festival-goers dance, laugh, and play music beneath lanterns, unaware of the full danger in the sky. Tenguyama Hitetsu asks Otoko, "Otoko, are you having fun?" and she smiles, "Yeah!!" He then thinks anxiously of Tama, asking, "Where are you going, Otama?!" Tama's remembered voice answers, "Forgive me, master!!" The page contrasts the capital's fragile celebration with the raid's crisis and reminds us that the people below still do not know how close Onigashima and Kaido's war are.

Tenguyama Hitetsu quietly prays, "Please let Otama be safe..." The memory of Tama's departure continues, with voices protesting, "I can't just sit here and do nothing!" "Don't worry, we'll protect her!!" and "Out of the question! Get back here!!" In the present festival, someone says there is no telling now that she is out at sea. The scene then cuts to a Mary surveillance report: "I have an update on the mysterious second dragon!!" The announcement says that Master Yamato is alone on the roof, injured, and that an unbelievable sight is playing out in the skies above. The report pulls the entire raid's attention toward the rooftop.

The Mary announces, "The two dragons are squaring off!!" Kaido, identified as the Azure Seiryu, is being challenged by the pink dragon ridden by "Straw Hat" Luffy. The dragon's identity is still unknown, but the broadcaster says there is no doubt it is hostile. Yamato, seeing Momonosuke's dragon form, thinks that if he could turn into a monster like that, he would actually be useful to the others. He also realizes that Yamato must have been the one keeping Kaido busy. The page frames Momonosuke's appearance as a battlefield shock: Kaido's dragon form is no longer unmatched in the sky.

It's not that your luck is bad, mine's just betterororin♪" Carrot and Wanda notice the danger and cry, "Master Nekomamushi! He's no longer in his Sulong form!" Elsewhere, the disappearance of the moon affects Inuarashi too as Jack begins to rise again. Someone shouts, "Momo!!" and Kaido, still tangled in the rooftop fight, reacts in shock to the name Momonosuke-sama. The page shows the cost of the storm clouds: without moonlight, the Minks' advantage collapses at the worst possible moment.

Luffy uses Momo's bite as proof that fear no longer has to rule him. He shouts, "You just bit one of the Four Emperors!! After doing that... does anything in the world still seem scary to you?!" Momo begins to answer, "N--" but Yamato cuts in with a firm "No!" Luffy orders, "Then go!! You can fly!! Stop Onigashima in its tracks!!" Momo answers, "Right!!" Luffy and Kaido clash with such force that the heavens split. People below stare up and cry, "The heavens... They've split...!!" The split opens the cloud cover, bringing moonlight back. Perospero tries to keep talking after mocking Nekomamushi's luck, but Nekomamushi cuts him off: "Not another word!! You were saying something about luck?" Perospero screams as Nekomamushi strikes, and Nekomamushi begins, "Oden One-Sword Style..." The page makes the chapter's turning point literal: Luffy's clash with Kaido changes the sky, restoring the moon at the exact moment the Mink leaders need it.

With the moonlight restored, Nekomamushi finishes Perospero with "Grinning Cat Claw!!" while Inuarashi defeats Jack with "Decapitating Dog Fleche!!" Perospero screams, and Jack collapses.
