In front of a certain plateau in the royal palace of Dressrosa, a man in a top hat and goggles shouts into a Den Den Mushi, 'I HEAR YA.' A young woman with goggles responds urgently, 'HELLO, CAN YOU HEAR MEI SABO-KUN!!' The scene shifts to a ruined cityscape where Sabo sits on rubble while the woman stands over him. She yells, 'ARE YOU PLANNING TO DRAG THE REVOLUTIONARY ARMY INTO A WARI! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE MAINTAINING YOUR POSITION!! YOU CAN'T JUST GO UP AND BRAWL WITH A MARINE ADMIRAL JUST BECAUSE YOU FEEL LIKE IT!!' Sabo replies, 'MY LITTLE BROTHER'S IN TROUBLE, ALL THAT OTHER SHIT DOESN'T CONCERN ME!!!' Nearby figures react with shock: 'CAN'T BECOME HEROES...', 'WE ARE ALL BIRDS OF A FEATHER, EVEN THE MARINES IN THIS COUNTRY...', 'IT'S ABSURD...!!!', 'WWEF HE SHEDDD...', 'OWW!!!', 'IT SO DOES!!!'

Sabo continues speaking into the Den Den Mushi: 'DAMNIT!! THE ONES THAT EVERYONE GETS PISSED AT FOR YOUR SELFISHNESS...... HRMMI! YOU UNDERSTANDI! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENINGI!' A voice answers, 'WELL, I COULD TELL THEM I'VE BEEN... COMPROMISED... WHAT IF SOMEONE FINDS OUT THAT'S WHAT YOU REALLY THINKI' Sabo replies, 'THAT'S QUITE THE GAMBLE...' and 'I HOPE YOU HAVE GOOD LUCK...' while thinking 'HEHE...'. The view widens to the 'FORMER "KING'S PLATEAU"' where a massive crowd gathers. Narration explains: 'AFTER REALIZING THE TRUTH...ALL WE REALLY WANT IS TO BE SAVED FROM HIS LUDICROUS GAME!!!' 'BY MANIPULATING KING RIKU FOR JUST ONE NIGHT, DOFLAMINGO WAS ABLE TO TURN THE ENTIRE POPULACE AGAINST KING RIKU AND THEY'VE HELD THAT GRUDGE AGAINST HIM THESE PAST 10 YEARS...' Citizens shout, 'IF WE DID THAT...WE'D ALL LOSE!!!', 'WHAAATI! Fujitora grips his cane and states, 'I WILL NOT ALLOW DRESSROSA, ONCE A SYMBOL OF PEACE, TO GO TO WAR...'. A marine reacts, '...AH! MARINE ADMIRAL FUJITORAI!'. Fujitora continues, 'IT SEEMS AT SOME POINT, I TOO, STARTED TO BELIEVE IN LUFFY-KUN AND HIS FRIENDS' VICTORY...!!!'. Someone asks, '...EHI WAIT...I HOW ABOUT WE TRY WAITING JUST A BIT LONGERI'. Fujitora concludes, 'IF YOU'RE CHOOSING DEATH...THEN YOU WOULDN'T MISS OUT ON ANYTHING BY WAITING A LITTLE WHILE...!!!' while rolling dice that go 'CLANG... ROLL...'.

High above Dressrosa, the battle rages across the royal structures. Narration boxes mark the locations: "ROYAL PALACE TOP FLOOR—", "THE FOURTH LEVEL—", and "A CERTAIN ROYAL PALACE PLATEAU—". Massive impacts shake the plateau as a huge figure crashes through the air. In the central clash, Luffy leaps forward with a powerful kick, Law stands ready with his sword drawn on a floating stone, and a white-haired fighter grips his blade nearby. A massive black impact SFX "ドン!!" erupts across the sky. Below, a close-up reveals intense eyes glaring upward as the character pants heavily, "HAAH....!!" "HAAH....!!"

Luffy yells at his opponent, "THAT PLAN JUST NOW ISN'T GOING TO WORK A SECOND TIME!!!" Law glares and shouts, "LOOK!! WE'VE YET TO DEAL WITH ANYTHING BUT SUPERFICIAL WOUNDS!!" and spits "PEH!!" while calling out "HOW'D YOU LIKE THAT ONE, YOU BASTARD!!!" The enemy, a patterned blob-like figure, reacts with shock "WHAAI!" and "HUHI" as Law explains, "BECAUSE WE ORIGINALLY WANTED THE 'OPE OPE NO MI'... AND ITS POWER!!!" and "I KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR ABILITY!!!" The foe panics, "EHHH~!I CRAP, I'M IN TROUBLE!!! MY NOOSE IS RUUUNNING ~!!!!" Law counters with a grim warning: "YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO REATTACH YOUR BODY!!" and details his technique, "'RADIO KNIFE' CREATES A DIFFERENT KIND OF INCISION THAN A NORMAL AMPUTATION...!!!! IN JUST A FEW MINUTES!! REGARDLESS OF ANY KIND OF MEASURE OR 'ABILITY' YOU HAVE AT YOUR DISPOSAL..."

Law presses the attack, shouting "EAT THIS!! 'HANAMIZU SHINKEN SHIRAHA-DORI!!!'" and "STOOOP!!! HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN HOW I USED TO TAKE CARE OF YOUI!" while using his powers labeled "INJECTION" and "SHOT"!!! The enemy screams in agony "UGYAAAAH....!!! STAY BAAACK!!" with SFX "SUPAPAN!" and "BUHH!!" as the technique lands. Law's determined face appears in close-up. The foe reels from the strike, body twisting violently amid impact lines and debris.

The fight intensifies as Law unleashes another technique, "FULL BRIGHT"!!! while yelling "TREBOL!!!" The enemy counters with wild slashes and laughter "PEH HEH HEH!!!" amid massive impact SFX. A note clarifies the attack name. Trebol is sent flying backward with a pained "UGH!!!" as the strike connects, his body contorting amid debris and motion lines. Luffy watches from the side with a fierce expression.

Luffy launches a powerful kick, shouting as his foot connects with explosive force. "ばっっ!!!" Law lies on the ground after the impact, marked with "ドォォォ!!" and "TRAFFY!!!" Luffy's leg swings back with "+4...!" A massive clash erupts in the center as Doflamingo's strings and attacks collide with Luffy and Law, sending debris flying. "!!I" appears as the fighters are thrown. Law reaches out desperately with "GRAB" while a hand stretches forward amid motion lines labeled "KYUUUU".

Luffy yells in panic, "PLEASE, DODGE THIS~!!!" as Bella appears nearby. Doflamingo lunges forward shouting "RUN... STRAW-HAT!!!" Law counters with "MUGI-WARAYA"!!! while striking. Doflamingo roars "GWAH!!!" amid heavy impacts. A close-up shows Doflamingo's furious face declaring "IT'S BEING LOOKED DOWN UPON...!!!!" He grabs Law violently, asking "...!!! DO YOU REMEMBER THE ONE THING THAT I HATE THE MOSTI" as Law gasps "LAW...!!!"

Doflamingo stands tall and declares "I AM A 'TENRYUU-BITO'!!!" He continues, "FOR I... I AM OF THE WORLD'S GREATEST AND MOST NOBLE BLOODLINES...!!!" and "TO BE ABLE TO RISE UP AND THINK FOR EVEN AN INSTANT THAT YOU HAD A CHANCE OF WINNING IS A DISGRACE I CANNOT BEAR!!!" and "FOR A BUNCH OF LOWLY SCUM LIKE YOU..." Luffy reacts with shock "EHH!I" while Doflamingo recounts his past: "GREATNESS WAS NOT ONLY MY BIRTHRIGHT, BUT I ALSO ACQUIRED ONE OF THE RAREST ABILITIES IN THIS WORLD!" and "SPOUTING CRAP LIKE WE NEED TO 'LIVE LIKE REAL HUMANS'...I! HE WAS SUCH A STUPID, FOOLISH FATHER...!!!" "AND OUR FAMILY OF FOUR WAS BROUGHT DOWN INTO THIS GARBAGE DUMP OF A WORLD!!" "ONE DAY, MY FATHER ABANDONED ALL OF IT..." "BUT...!!! A flashback shows young Doflamingo with his father and brother. The father says "THAT MOTHER GOT SICK AND DIED." "FATHER... IT'S BECAUSE WE LIVE IN SUCH A FILTHY PLACE LIKE THIS..." Young Doflamingo demands "I WANT YOU TO LEND ME YOUR GUN." and "FATHER, A LOWLY COMMONER TALKED BACK TO ME! A TENRYUUBITO!" while the brother asks "FATHER, WHERE ARE WE GOING TO BUY SOME!" and "LET'S GO BUY SOME!" Doflamingo narrates "-BUT THE TENRYUUBITO WHO LABELED US A 'FAMILY OF TRAITORS' REFUSED TO EVER ACCEPT ME BACK AS ONE OF THEM...!!!" "AND SO I KILLED HIM... AND I TOOK HIS HEAD BACK TO MARIEJOIS WITH ME...!!!" "BECAUSE OF MY STUPID FATHER, BY THE TIME I WAS 8 YEARS OLD I HAD SEEN THE HEAVEN OF THIS WORLD AND THE HELL OF THIS WORLD..." He concludes "THAT I WOULD DESTROY EVERY LAST PART OF THIS WORLD THAT THEY CONTROL...!!!" and "A GROWN MAN LIKE ME DOESN'T HAVE THE TIME TO PLAY YOUR KIDDY GAMES!!!" "THE LIFE YOU'VE ALL LEAD IS NOTHING COMPARED TO WHAT I'VE GONE THROUGH!!!"
