Usopp stares at framed portraits on the wall, exclaiming, "IS THIS HER ROOM...I" and "NOW THAT I LOOK AT IT AGAIN, SHE'S QUITE PRETTY... THE SERVANT GIRL, CINDY-CHAN..." A large portrait shows Victoria Cindry with flowers. Usopp continues, "BUT SHE HAD A LOT OF SCARS FROM STITCHES ALL OVER HER FACE AND BODY." Cindry stands silently in the room with another woman. Usopp notes, "IT'S NOT LIKE IT'S SOMEONE ELSE... SO IT MUST BE HER OLD PHOTO...!!!" while examining the pictures. Cindry's stitched face appears in close-up as someone says, "THAT'S TRUE... NONE OF THESE PHOTOS HAVE THEM..."

Usopp reads newspaper clippings, declaring, "ACTRESSI DIDN'T HE SAY THAT SHE WAS A SERVANT SOMEWHERE BEFORE, TOOI LOOK, THESE ARE ALL THE ARTICLES ABOUT HER. IT SEEMS LIKE SHE WAS A FAIRLY FAMOUS STAGE ACTRESS." A woman replies, "NMM!I VICTORIA CINDRY..." Usopp reacts with surprise, "EH...I WHAT IS ITI" The woman explains, "IT SEEMS AS THOUGH SHE WAS BORN INTO AN ARISTOCRATIC FAMILY. LOOKING AT THIS, IT'S UNTHINKABLE. SHE WAS KICKED OUT AFTER SHE BROKE SOME DISHES OR SOMETHING. SHE WAS POPULAR EVER SINCE SHE WAS A CHILD..." A close-up shows Cindry's face with wide eyes as narration states, "TEN YEARS AGO. SHE DIED IN AN ACCIDENT..." Usopp gasps, "!!I"

Usopp reacts in shock, "THE ONES ON THIS ISLAND ARE... REALLY ZOMBIES. THE ONES THAT WE SAW ARE ALL... THE DEAD BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE!! THEN THAT MEANS THAT SHE'S BEEN DEAD ONCE AND REVIVED.... BUT IF THAT OBITUARY IS REAL, SHE'S NOT DEAD!!!" Cindry appears distressed as someone shouts, "WHAAAA!!I WH-WH-WH-WH-WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!I SHE WAS ALIVE!! SHE'S DEAD!!!" A large splash panel shows a grand building with dramatic Japanese sound effects. Usopp panics, "WHAT A QUICK CHANGE!! WAIT, USOPP!! ISN'T THAT... A TREASURE CHEST!!II" Cindry transforms into a revealing outfit with hearts appearing as Usopp yells, "OPEN IT!! TRY TO OPEN THAT CHEST!" while a large "DON!!" sound effect erupts. A woman exclaims, "UWAH!! WHAT THE HELL!I IT'S GETTING EVEN CREEPIER...!! IT WAS BETTER NOT TO KNOW THAT...!!!" as "GATAN...!!" sounds.

Panic erupts inside the collapsing mansion as zombies and mechanical contraptions burst from every direction. A terrified voice screams "AAAAAH!!!" while another yells "TOO BAAAAAD!!! THE PLACE TO HOLD THE TREASURE ISN'T IN HERE!!!!!" A massive numbered device marked 256 spins wildly, scattering debris and treasure chests. Smaller panels show fleeing figures shouting "GYAAAH, PAINTING ZOMBIES!!!" and "THEY CAME OUT!!" One man in a tall hat points in shock, exclaiming that a zombie definitely said the treasure line. The chaos peaks as a jack-in-the-box zombie springs forward with a loud "GYAAAH!! JACK IN THE BOOOOX!!!" and another victim cries "AAAAAH!" amid flying impact lines and smoke.

Inside the dark mansion hallway a shadowy swordsman stands as voices call out "OOH, IT'S YOU...!!" and "IT SEEMS AS THOUGH SOMEONE IS LOST IN THE MANSION...!!" A framed portrait reacts with "OH! BODY-GUARD...!!" The swordsman laughs "YO HO HO HO!!!" and declares "NOT A PROBLEM!! I'LL CATCH THEM." The scene shifts outdoors to a forest clearing where a massive stitched creature complains "WE ALREADY HAVE A RACCOON DOG AND A ROBOT, AMONG OTHER THINGS!!!" A cyborg figure retorts "HEY, I'M NOT A ROBOT. I'M A CYBORG, YOU DORK!!" while another voice notes "WELL, YOU'RE NOT A HUMAN ANYMORE, THAT'S FOR SURE." In the distance a grand clock-towered mansion looms under the moon.

The group discusses the bizarre forest creatures. One voice wonders "WHAT'S GONNA COME OUT NEXT~~~ HOW FUN~~~" while another lists "LIKE THE "TREE MAN" AND THAT "UNICORN" THAT WE JUST SAW..." A long-nosed man protests "NO, I'M NOT PRAISING YOU!!!" and "I'M BASED ON A HUMAN!!" while being told "YOU'RE BASED ON SOMETHING ABNORMAL!!!" Larger panels reveal a wolf-like beast marked 82 and a woman examining stitched bodies. She explains that numbers, scars, and stitches are the common markers for the odd creatures. Suddenly a straw-hatted boy shouts "THERE!! IT'S A GHOOST!!!" as a small white Negative ghost floats up, prompting the reaction "NEGATIVE."

More Negative ghosts multiply while dancing, prompting the cry "THEY'RE MULTIPLYING WHILE DANCING, HOW FUNNY!!I" and the worried line "WHAT A DISTURBING CALL..." The straw-hatted boy and long-nosed man swing a net, shouting "THERE'RE TOTALLY SPIRITS..." and "I'LL CATCH AND RAISE THEM!!!" Impact sounds "ズバァァァ!!" and "ズバァ!!" ring out as they strike the ghosts. A close-up shows a horned creature with "HORORORORO..." while the boy yells "FRESH FIRE"!!! and a massive fiery blast erupts with the onomatopoeia "オォゥゥゥ!!!" The ghosts continue to chant "NEGATIVE." amid swirling smoke and motion lines.

A muscular man in a top hat slumps forward, tongue out, as negative ghosts swirl around him. He mutters, "NO GOOD, IT DIDN'T WORK." and lets out a weak "HORORORORO..." A small "!I" reaction bubble pops nearby. In the next sequence, the same man is attacked from behind by a spiky-haired figure yelling "YOU BASTARD!!" while a ghost cries "QUIXII". The top-hatted man collapses further, declaring "HOW DEPRESSED ARE YOU GETTING!!!I" then "...I SHOULD DIE. I HAVE NO CONFIDENCE TO LIVE." and "EVERYTHING I DO IS NO GOOD. IT'S USELESS. I'M TOTALLY NO GOOD THIS WEEK..." A close-up shows his grim face. Negative ghosts float by a long-haired woman who states "NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE." The spiky-haired man and top-hatted figure continue their exchange on the ground as more ghosts drift past, with the top-hatted man repeating "I'M THE WORST... I SHOULD DIE... IF I'M GOING TO BE REBORN... I WANT TO BE A SHELL."

Sanji stands with a serious expression, saying "IT'S BECAUSE THEY DON'T USUALLY PREPARE THEIR SPIRITS," "THAT THEY GET THEIR MINDS PLAYED WITH BY SOME WEIRD GHOSTS!!" and "...HMPH, THEY'RE PATHETIC." In the background, the group faces grotesque monsters as someone notes "MAYBE WHEN YOU TOUCH THESE GHOSTS, YOUR WILL BECOMES WEAK..." and replies "THAT'S SILLY." Robin turns to Sanji, remarking "IT LOOKS LIKE WHAT ROBIN-CHAN SAID IS TRUE..." The spiky-haired man is struck again, shouting "THAT'S ENOUGH!!!" and "I'M SORRY I WAS BORN..." while a ghost yells "SUCC!!" Negative ghosts continue their chant of "HORO HORO HORO." and "NEGATIVE, NEGATIVE." Robin observes "WHAT AN ODD ISLAND." and agrees "THAT'S TRUE." as the group stands before a ruined structure with more ghosts labeled "live" floating nearby.

The top-hatted man roars "SHUT UP!!!" while grabbing the spiky-haired man by the collar. He continues "WAHAHA! I SAW SOMETHING AMUSING." "THEY MUST HAVE A WEAKNESS!! I'LL ERADICATE THEM!!!" "I WON'T FORGIVE THEM, EITHER!!!" and "IF THOSE GHOSTS COME AGAIN, I'M GONNA RAISE THEM, EITHER!! I DON'T NEED THEM!!" Sanji watches from the side, cigarette in mouth, thinking "THEY WOULD COME OUT ONCE IN A WHILE AND APPEARED TO BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR US... THE PROBLEM IS... WHO IS BEHIND ITI THOSE WERE ON THE LOOKOUT, TOO..." The group stands in a foggy graveyard filled with crooked crosses and tombstones. Someone suggests "HEY, LET'S EAT OUR LUNCH HERE!!" while another replies "HEY, IT'S A HUGE GRAVEYARD! IT REALLY SETS THE MOOD." Sanji retorts "IDIOT. IT'LL MAKE THE FOOD TASTE BAD. ON TOP OF THAT, WE'RE IN A HURRY."

Luffy stares in shock as a zombie-like creature screams "AAAAA...!!!" and reaches out with clawed hands. Sound effects "MOZO MOZO" and "PASHI---" mark the movement. Luffy yells "I'M NOT GOING BACK JUST LIKE THAT, YOU FOOL!!!" while grabbing the creature's arm. The zombie groans "AAAAH..." as Luffy pulls it up. In a wider view, the top-hatted man, spiky-haired man, Robin, and others stand together as Luffy declares "IT'S A ZOMBIE ANY WAY YOU LOOK AT IT!!!" A close-up shows a terrified man with stitches exclaiming "AN OLD PERSON WITH MAJOR INJURIES!I" while the grotesque zombie looms with its mouth wide open.

Zombies burst from the graveyard in a frenzy, cackling and charging with wild energy. "HOACHOH!!!" "UOACHAH!!!" "URUA!!!" "DON'T UNDERESTIMATE US!!!!" "HOW DARE YOU LOOK DOWN ON ZOMBIES.....!!!!" Luffy stares in surprise and says, "I DIDN'T KNOW THAT ZOMBIES ARE THIS LIVELY." A massive explosion of movement erupts as the zombies swarm forward. "WAN! WAN! WOON!!" someone yells amid the chaos. A giant shadowy figure looms with the command "SHOW THEM HOW DANGEROUS ZOMBIES ARE!!!" while a tremendous "WUUOOOOOH!!!!" shakes the scene. In the bottom row, several figures react with sharp sounds: "CHAKI" "BERS" "BOKI" "SUPA!" "FWAH!" Luffy grins and declares, "I SEE, SO THEY WANT TO FIGHT. WE CAN ALSO TEACH THEM HOW DANGEROUS WE ARE...!!"

A colossal brawl erupts as massive stitched arms and grotesque zombies clash violently. A huge speech bubble declares "600 MILLION BERI JACKPOT!!!" amid flying debris and impact lines. The enormous zombie horde surges with wild punches and grapples while smaller figures are sent flying. Heavy sound effects "ドドドドド" and "ギャアアア" dominate the panel as the chaotic melee intensifies with motion lines and dust clouds everywhere.

The defeated zombies sit up in the ruined graveyard and explain, "WE WERE ROTTING..." "WE WERE BURIED, OR MORE LIKE..." "...ZOMBIES, SO..." "...I WAS ROTTING." "ME, TOO." Luffy, wide-eyed, asks "WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING HEREI" The zombies bow deeply and shout "WE'RE SORRY!!!" Luffy snaps back, "YOU JOKING AROUNDI" One zombie adds, "FOR REAL!!" In the next panel Luffy questions them about information. The zombies nervously reply they cannot talk about such things, with one stammering "AAAAH, YES, YES, YES..." Luffy notes, "HMM... SO YOU SURE YOU WON'T TALKI" and "THREE OF THEM PASSED." He describes "A GUY WITH A LONG NOSE AND... A GIRL WITH ORANGE HAIR, AND...A RACCOON DOG THAT LOOKS LIKE A REINDEER." and asks "DID THEY PASS THROUGH HEREI"

The zombies continue denying involvement: "...I DIDN'T." "I DIDN'T, EITHER." "NO, I DIDN'T!" "N-" Luffy glares and demands, "THEY'RE MY NAKAMA. YOU DIDN'T MESS WITH THEM, DID YOUI" The zombies panic and one shouts "FOOL!! DON'T SAY THAT." Another admits "AND... YOU BIT THEM, TOO!!!" while another blurts "EH!I HEY, DON'T SELL OUT YOUR FRIENDS!!" and "THIS GUY DID." They confess "WE ALL ATTACKED THEM." Luffy relaxes slightly as the zombies point toward the distant mansion, saying "IT'S OK IF HE ISN'T AROUND." "THEY DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT BROOK..." "I'M GLAD THEY'RE SAFE." "IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THEY HEADED TOWARDS THAT MANSION." Large debris and broken crosses litter the foreground as the group looks on.

The injured old man in the tattered coat and hat desperately waves his hands, pleading, "WILL YOU LET ME TALK A LITTLE!I" He continues, "I... WAS WATCHING. YOU'RE HORRENDOUSLY STRONG." From the side, a voice calls out, "HEY!!... H-HEY, YOU GUYS...!! WAIT A MOMENT!!" Luffy stares in shock and shouts, "LIKE WE SAID, IT'S A ZOMBIE!!! AN OLD GUY WITH MAJOR INJURIES!I" The old man insists, "NO, I'M AN OLD GUY WITH MAJOR INJURIES." Others react with confusion: "HOW CONFUSING!!! YOU CAN JUST BE A ZOMBIE." The old man kneels on the ground and explains, "THERE WERE A WHOLE BUNCH OF VICTIMS, BUT... IF YOU BEAT HIM, THEY'LL ALL BE SAVED. ONCE MY 'SHADOW' RETURNS, I'LL THANK YOU AS MUCH AS YOU WANT. THERE'S A GUY I WANT YOU GUYS TO BEAT...!!! YOU GUYS WILL BE ABLE TO DO IT!!"

The group questions the scene: "WHOSE WORK IS THIS ANYWAYI WHO'S ON THIS ISLANDI" Someone notes, "THAT'S TRUE; YOU DON'T HAVE A SHADOW, EITHER. JUST LIKE BROOK...!!!" Robin speaks up, "... I KNOW HIS NAME WELL." Luffy asks, "ROBIN, YOU KNOW OF HIMI" The discussion turns to the culprit: "DO YOU MEAN...! YOU DON'T MEAN GECKO MORIA......!I" "YEAH... THAT'S RIGHT... THAT MORIA!!" The old man confirms, "A MAN CALLED MORIA. HE'S REALLY FRIGHTENING...!!!" A dramatic close-up shows a sweating face with the realization: "IS ONE OF THE SHICHIBUKAI!!! GECKO MORIA..." accompanied by "!!I"
