I'm Not Gonna Die

Gin coughs violently on the floor, bloodied and weakened by poison gas, his striped helmet cracked. The Baratie cooks react in shock: "HEY LOOK! OUR GUYS ARE FINE!" one shouts, while another yells, "I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! THE DON IS ACTUALLY GONNA KILL OUR BATTLE COMMANDER!" A third cries out, "AHH! THAT KRIEG'S BATTLE COMMANDER OR WHATEVER MUST'VE GOTTEN A FULL BLAST OF THAT POISON GAS!" as someone calls, "SANJI!I"

Sanji stands firm amid the chaos, shouting, "WHATEVER! JUST BRING IT OVER NOW!" The cooks argue urgently: "AND BESIDES, THAT GUY'S THE ENEMY..." "U-UHH YEAH... I THINK SO BUT THAT'S MAINLY FOR FOOD POISONING..." "PATTY! DON'T YOU HAVE SOME ANTIDOTE!I" One cook insists, "TAKE HIM UP TO THE 2ND FLOOR AND HAVE HIM BREATHE WITH THAT MASK. IF THERE'S EVEN THE SLIGHTEST CHANCE OF STILL SAVING HIM, THEN THAT'S THE FIRST STEP TO TAKE." Another warns, "YOU IDIOT, JUST PUT THAT MASK ON HIM RIGHT NOW. IT MUST CONTAIN AT LEAST A BIT OF AN ANTIDOTE OF SOME SORT." Sanji leans close to the fallen Gin and says firmly, "DON'T YOU DARE DIE, GIN..." Luffy watches nearby as the cooks yell, "A-ALRIGHT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO YELL! PATTY! CARNE! MOVE YOUR ASSES!" and "ME TOOI"

Luffy kneels before the injured Gin, declaring, "BE KILLED BY A GUY LIKE HIM!" and "DON'T YOU DARE LET YOURSELF." Don Krieg smirks from above, replying, "HE'LL ONLY HANG AROUND FOR ANOTHER HOUR OR SO..." and "HMPH, IT'S FUTILE..." Sanji, wearing a gas mask, tells Luffy, "N... NO, STOP... YOU CAN'T... BECAUSE I'LL SEND HIM FLYING IN THE MEANWHILE." Luffy turns with fierce determination, shouting, "HANG IN THERE WITH SHEER WILLPOWER! GOT IT!I" Krieg watches as Luffy charges forward. A cook yells from the side, "HEY! CALM DOWN, YOU IDIOT! CHARGING DIRECTLY AT HIM IS EXACTLY WHAT HE WANTS!" while another warns, "YOU'LL GET YOURSELF KILLED!"

"HE'S GONNA MAKE A SCREEN!" One cook clutches his head in terror. "MY GRAVE!I" The massive spiked wheels and harpoon launchers of the Krieg ship roar to life. "THE OCEAN IS YOUR DOOM! BUT IF YOU TRY TO JUMP, MY SPEARS WILL MAKE MINCEMEAT OUT OF YOU!" Spears and cannon fire erupt toward the floating restaurant as Luffy stares upward at the incoming barrage.

A colossal explosion rips through the side of the Krieg ship. Luffy is hurled through the air amid flying debris and smoke. Massive SFX "ドドドドド" and "ゴォオオオ" shake the page as the vessel's structure buckles. The impact sends Luffy tumbling across the waves while the enemy ship's armored hull cracks open under the force of its own misfired or countered barrage.

Explosions and cannon fire fill the sky. "HAHA... DID HE DIE AFTER REFUSING TO RUN AWAY...I" A close-up shows a blond-haired fighter struck by debris. "HE'S HIT!" The man grits his teeth in pain as impact lines and "ズババババ" SFX surround him. Below, a spiky-haired figure with a cigarette and fur-collared coat braces against the blast, sweat flying. Another voice says, "I'VE NEVER EVEN SEEN THE DON ON HIS KNEES BEFORE, MUCH LESS LYING FLAT ON HIS FACE!" A third mutters, "WHAT... WHAT'S WITH THAT GUY!I" Blood drips from Luffy's fist as the crowd stares in shock.

Luffy stands defiantly on the damaged deck, gripping a broken weapon as he glares at his opponent. "MINE, OR YOURS... OR YOUR GRAVE...I" he challenges. The armored foe looms over him with a spiked cape and spears. Luffy refuses to back down. "NOW THIS IS THE PLACE, REALLY MY GRAVE..." the enemy declares. Luffy snaps back with fierce determination, "BUT DON'T YOU DARE DECIDE THAT QUESTION JUST BY THESE MEASLY SPEARS OR YOUR STUPID SPIKY CAPE! THIS AIN'T THE PLACE FOR ME TO DIE! WHICH IS IT!I"

On the upper deck, voices call out in concern. "HANG IN THERE! HEY! DO YOU NEED ANY WATERI COME ON, BREATHE! BREATHE IN THAT FRESH AIR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE!" Sanji lies injured on the floor while Zeff watches closely. "WATCH HIM CAREFULLY, SANJI... TALK ABOUT RECKLESS." Below, the cooks rush to help. "DON'T DIE! AGHH!" Patty and Carne argue over the fallen man. "HEY, MY MEAT DISHES ARE THE WORLD'S BEST! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY 'POISON!I' AND LOOK WHO'S TALKIN'! YOU IDIOT! WHAT GOOD WOULD FEEDING A POISONED PERSON MORE POISON DO!I OH THAT'S RIGHT! DO YOU WANT SOME OF OUR RESTAURANT'S SPECIAL PUDDING!I" Sanji sweats, thinking, "A GUY LIKE HIM IS THE WORST ENEMY YOU CAN FACE... FIGHT TO THE DEATH...
