In the forest near the SMILE Factory, fighters react to the ongoing crisis. A voice declares, "AS LONG AS THEY DON'T HAVE A KEY TO THE DOOR, THEY AREN'T GETTING IN!!!" Another shouts, "WHAT NOWI!! THE PEOPLE THAT USED TO BE TOYS ARE WORKING ON THIS FACTORY!!" Amid the confusion, someone notes the sealed walls. A figure states, "EVEN IF THE WHOLE SEALING COMES CRASHING DOWN, IT WON'T MAKE A SCRATCH ON THIS PLACE'S KAIROUSEKI WALLS!!! AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL... TO THE YOUNG MASTER, THIS FACTORY IS AS IMPORTANT AS HIS OWN LIFE!!" Below, a long-haired man in a black coat yells, "YOU COULDN'T ASK FOR A BETTER DEFENDED FORTRESS!! WHO'S GONNA BE ABLE TO DEFEAT THEMI!!" while a cloaked ally with a staff stands ready. Large sound effects boom as the group braces for impact. "WE'VE GOT TWO CHIEF OFFICERS DEFENDING US!!"

At the trading port, Usopp lies injured and says, "H...HI, I'M UZOBB... (HI I'M USOPP...) THIS IS MY CREWMATE, USOPP! DID YOU MEET LUFFYI" A woman replies, "YOU CAN LET HIM REST..." Nearby, Koala hugs a small figure and cries, "KOALA!! SABO! ROBIN-SAN!!" Sabo tips his hat and smiles. Outside the lift, a man with a top hat reacts with shock. In another scene, a curly-haired fighter bursts forward shouting, "MY APOLOGIES!! YOU MUST LET ME THROUGH!!! DOFLAMINGO!!" with dramatic impact effects. On a high ledge overlooking the King's Plateau and outer wall tower, Zoro looks down and asks, "WHERE DID THAT ROCK GUY GOI!!" as someone notes, "SOMETHING'S GOING ON DOWN THERE...!!!"

Near the Royal Palace, a battered fighter lies on rubble and declares, "...AT ONCE. WE MUST TAKE COUNTER-MEASURES..." Outside the palace, a spiky-haired man lunges and roars, "HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVEI!!" while another yells, "THAT'S JUST UNSETTLING...!!!" In the chaos, a swordsman swings his blade and shouts, "THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT!!! SOLDIER!! KYROS-NIISAMA!!" A woman cries out in alarm. The swordsman continues, "...TO CUT OFF A MAN'S HEAD PROPERLYI SHALL I TEACH YOU HOW..." as the fight rages with dramatic motion lines and impact effects.

A massive stone structure is hurled through the air with tremendous force, trailing debris as it spins wildly. "!!!I" someone reacts in shock. Kyros appears in close-up, eyes wide and mouth open in fury as he roars, "KYROS!!" A huge impact SFX "ズドン!!" shakes the buildings below. In the lower panel, Luffy in his Straw Hat and battle-torn clothes is locked in a brutal mid-air clash with a towering striped figure. The two exchange heavy blows amid swirling smoke and flying rubble, with massive impact SFX "ドゴォン!!" and motion lines emphasizing the raw power of the exchange.

The thrown building crashes violently into the ground, exploding in a cloud of dust and debris with SFX "ギャン" and "シャアァン!!". Doflamingo grins viciously in close-up, muttering "STRAW HAT...". A woman with pigtails shouts in alarm, "THERE ARE TWO OF THE YOUNG MASTER...!!" Luffy and Doflamingo continue their fierce aerial battle, trading rapid strikes. Doflamingo launches a powerful spinning kick while Luffy counters, the clash producing a massive bright explosion and impact SFX "ビリビリビリビリ!!" and "ジャァン!!" as shockwaves ripple outward.

Doflamingo is sent flying backward from the barrage, body twisting in mid-air with SFX "ビリビリビリ" and "ドドド". Luffy presses the assault relentlessly. A massive explosion of smoke and impact SFX "ザンギュッ!!" erupts as Doflamingo is struck hard. Luffy's face strains with effort, sweat flying, while Doflamingo is hurled away with a pained "UAAHHH!" and a final impact SFX "ビリビリ". In the closing panels, Luffy lands, breathing heavily, as the dust settles from the devastating exchange.

A massive explosion erupts as Luffy is blasted backward through the air amid swirling smoke and debris. "OWW!!" he cries out. "LUFFYLAND!!" someone shouts. The blast sends rubble flying as Luffy crashes down. A dark-haired woman stares in shock, sweat on her face. "IT SEEMS TO BE A MARIONETTE MADE FROM THREAD! I'VE NEVER SEEN A TECHNIQUE LIKE IT!" she exclaims. Nearby, a wild-haired man grimaces, "...THAT HURT..." while another figure questions, "WHAT IS THAT DOUBLE...I!"

The wild-haired man roars in fury, "IT HAUNTS ME EVEN NOW, EVERY NIGHT WHEN I SLEEP! WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING...I!" A flashback shows a cloaked figure standing amid ruins as he accuses, "DO YOU REMEMBER HOW IT FELT...THAT NIGHT TEN YEARS AGOI! THE DAY YOU STRUCK DOWN YOUR BELOVED SUBJECTS AND BURNED THEIR PEACEFUL TOWNSI!" Doflamingo smirks and replies, "I WON'T ALLOW YOU TO STAGE SUCH A TRAGEDY A SECOND TIME!!! I'LL LET YOU ALL ESCAPE." The man retorts, "DON'T BE RIDICULOUS!! WHAT ARE YOU PLANNINGI!" Doflamingo continues, "THE TRAGEDY THAT IS ABOUT TO OCCUR WILL BE NOTHING SO MEAGRE..." A desperate voice cries, "PLEASE, SOMEBODY KILL ME!!!" Doflamingo then orders, "PICA, TAKE THESE FOOLS OUTSIDE!!! THEY'RE IN THE WAY!!!" as massive stone hands erupt, sending people flying with "UWAAHH-HHHH!!!"

Screams echo as people are hurled through the air: "AAAAA-AHHHHH!!!" and "UWAAA-AGHHHH!!!" Doflamingo's massive string construct looms. In smaller panels, figures tumble while Doflamingo glares and declares, "I BEG YOU, DON'T HARM THIS KINGDOM ANY MORE THAN YOU ALREADY HAVE!!!" A close-up shows a grinning man with an eyepatch, while Doflamingo's face twists in rage, "DOFLAMINGO!"

Law stands with his sword drawn, declaring, "AS LONG AS PICA IS PROTECTING HIM, WE WON'T BE ABLE TO GET NEAR DOFLAMINGO!!" Usopp pants heavily, "WE'VE BEEN DROPPED ALL THE WAY DOWN TO OUTSIDE THE OUTER WALL TOWER...!!!" A close-up of Law's intense face reveals, "IT'S THE BIRDCAGE...!!!" and "IT'S BEGUN...!!!" The massive Birdcage descends over the island as a narrator states, "BEFORE THE TRUTH OF THIS COUNTRY GETS OUT... HE PLANS TO MASSACRE EVERY LAST PERSON..." The crowd below reacts in horror, "EHHI!!"

Panic spreads through the streets as civilians and pirates flee the tightening Birdcage. "HE'LL ONLY TAKE US OUT INSTEAD!!!" one man yells. "THERE'S NO POINT GOING UP AGAINST DOFLAMINGO HERE!" another shouts. "LIKE I KNOW!! AT ANY RATE, WE'RE GETTING OUT OF HERE!!" A striped-shirted captain cries out in alarm, "CAPTAIN, WHAT'S THATI!!!" as a massive dome of razor-sharp blades erupts from the ground. "AAA-GHH!! THAT HURTS!!!" screams a victim caught in the wires. "CAPTAIN!! UP AHEAD!! THERE'S SOMETHING UP AHEAD!!" The enormous cage fully forms, its wires slicing through buildings. "THE HELL ARE THESE BARSI!!" someone yells. "BLADESI!" "WHERE'S THE WAY OUTI!!" "THEY STRETCH AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE!"

Marines struggle to report the crisis. "SAME HERE!! OUR LINE TO BASE ISN'T CONNECTING!!" "WE HAVEN'T EVEN TOLD THEM WHAT HAPPENED HERE YET!!" "WHAT'S THAT UP THERE...I" "VICE-ADMIRAL BASTILLE!! WE CAN'T SEEM TO CONTACT HQ!!" Bastille grips his weapon as chaos erupts. A man screams, "IT'S NOT ME!! MY BODY, IT'S...!!" while attacking civilians. "HEY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO THOSE CIVILIAN HOUSESI!" Another marine is struck: "AAAGHH-HHH!!!" A leopard-print fighter roars, "UAAA-AGHHHH-HHH!!!" as wires slice him. Close-up on a masked face, someone shouts "PARASAITO!"

The ground shakes violently. "TH... THE KING'S PLATEAU IS SINKINGI!!" Buildings crumble as a massive structure descends. "WHAT IS IT THIS TIMEI!!" a horned fighter yells. "ALL AROUND DRESSROSA, PEOPLE ARE STARTING TO INDISCRIMINATELY ATTACK THOSE AROUND THEM!!" A top-hatted man reports, "URGENT REPORT!!" The palace lifts off on its own. "THE PALACE IS GOING OFF SOMEWHERE ON ITS OWN!" "HOLD IT!!!" "IT'S PICA!! AS LONG AS IT'S MADE OF ROCK, HE CAN EVEN CONTROL THE TERRAIN ITSELF!!!" "HEY, THE GROUND'S SINKING! WHAT'S GOING ON...I!!"

The SMILE factory bursts upward from the earth amid explosions and debris. "EHHHHI!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HEREI!!" "UWAAAAH-HHHH!! THE FACTORY IS RISING UP FROM THE GROUND!!" Citizens scream as the ground beneath Flower Hill consumes buildings. "IT'S RISING UP AND CONSUMING THE CITY!!" "AAAGH-HHH!!!" "UAAAGHHHHH!! SOMEBODY!! SOMEBODY STOP ME!!!" A close-up shows a grinning figure declaring, "AND OF COURSE... HONOURED GUESTS." Signs read "CITIZENS OF DRESSROSA..." and "THE ROYAL PALACE."

Doflamingo's voice echoes across Dressrosa as the massive Birdcage tightens around the kingdom. In the palace, he declares, "...THAT THIS GAME CAN END...!!!" but adds, "BUT THERE IS ONE MORE WAY..." His face twists with a cruel grin as he continues, "...TO CONTROLLING YOU ALL THROUGH FEAR...!!!" and "I NEVER HAD ANY OBJECTIONS..." The citizens react in horror while Doflamingo announces, "...I AM ABOUT TO NAME!!!" He explains, "IF YOU TAKE THE LIVES OF THE INDIVIDUALS... AND I WILL PAY A FINE BOUNTY FOR EACH OF THEIR HEADS!!" A close-up of his eye emphasizes the threat: "KILL OR BE KILLED." Narration states, "THE CURTAIN RISES ON A TERRIBLE SPECTACLE...!!!" Doflamingo proclaims, "THE ONLY WAY TO SAVE YOURSELVES... IS TO TAKE THE LIVES OF OTHERS!!! EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY IS NOW A BOUNTY HUNTER!!" He stands defiant in the palace, saying, "I AM HERE IN THE PALACE. I WON'T RUN, AND I WON'T HIDE!!! As panic spreads through the city streets, someone shouts, "NOW THAT YOU KNOW THE TRUTH...!!!" and another cries, "DOF LA-MINGO!!" The massive dome of the Birdcage looms over the burning buildings of Dressrosa.
