KURO, THE PIRATE WITH 100 PLANS

In a forest clearing, two figures clash violently. Luffy stands with arms raised in shock as large impact symbols and the words “NO WAY” appear beside him. Kuro lunges forward with claws extended, shouting “DIE”. The next panel shows Kuro charging with arms outstretched and the exclamation “!!I”. A small inset panel reveals two onlookers reacting with “THEY STARTED!!”. Large stylized sound effects dominate the top of the page.

Kuro swings his clawed gloves in a wide arc, labeled “SFX: SWING!!”, striking Luffy who is sent flying backward with a pained “UGH...!!”. Kuro continues his assault with rapid claw slashes marked by sharp sound effects. Luffy reacts with surprise “AHI!” as the attacks land. The final panel shows Luffy being hurled through the air with additional impact sounds “バキッ！ パチン！”.

Luffy appears determined in close-up. He stretches his arm and shouts “GOMU GOMU-” while launching a kick. Kuro is struck and sent flying with the attack labeled “LEG SWEEPER!!!”. Luffy follows up with another strike as Kuro is knocked back. Luffy grins and declares “AND...” while preparing his next move, with sound effects “ザッ ザッ” and “グッ...!!” filling the panels.

Luffy launches a powerful strike from above with his right fist extended downward. "PISTOL!!!" The blow creates a massive impact effect as Kuro blurs into motion, dodging with incredible speed. SFX: WHOOSH!! A suited man with glasses leans back sharply, his body twisting away from the attack. Below, members of the Black Cat Pirates react in shock: "AH!!!" and "!!I" with wide eyes and open mouths. In the lower panels Luffy appears surprised, mouth agape with "AH!" while Kuro stands calmly nearby, adjusting his glasses with a slight smile. SFX: SPLAT and impact lines emphasize the missed strike and rapid evasion.

Kuro stands casually atop Luffy's massively stretched arm, one foot planted as the limb extends like a tightrope across the scene. He yawns and remarks, "THIS IS SO BORING, I'M BEGINNING TO FEEL SLEEPY..." In the distance along a tree-lined path, a tiny figure of Luffy is visible far away. The Black Cat Pirates stare in disbelief: "HE... HE DODGED IT AND...!!!!" and "HE'S STANDING ON HIS STRETCHED ARM!!!" Kuro suddenly launches forward in a blur of motion, delivering a fierce strike. "...YOU BASTARD!!!" Luffy's face shows pain and surprise as the blow lands, with dramatic speed lines and impact effects filling the panel.

Kuro smirks confidently in close-up as Luffy clings desperately to his leg. SFX: ヒュ... and "UWAA..." Luffy is sent flying backward through the air, hat flying off, body twisting from the powerful kick. The background shows a village path and trees blurring past. Kuro's body is shown mid-kick with extreme motion lines. Luffy lands hard in the dirt, sprawled out with limbs splayed and sweat drops flying. SFX: dramatic impact sounds and "ドン" effects punctuate the landing as the Straw Hat pirate struggles on the ground.

Kuro walks away along a devastated stone path, long claw-like blades extending from his fingers. SFX: massive destruction lines and "ドッドッドッドッド..." echo through the area. A voice cries "OUCH OUCH" while Kuro mutters "NU..." In the next panels Luffy, bruised and bloodied, glares up and says "YOU MADE ME BLEED..." with "PUH" as he spits. The Black Cat Pirates watch from the side in awe: "THAT'S OUR CAPTAIN KURO.....!!!!" and "THAT STRAW-HAT KID WAS SO SCARY AND STRONG...!!" The crew erupts in cheers, raising fists and shouting "CAPTAIN KURO!!" "GO CAPTAIN KURO!!" "KILL HIM!!" with wild excitement.

Kuro's face twists in rage as he roars at his crew, "DON'T CALL ME USING THAT NAME!!!" The Black Cat Pirates recoil in terror, one screaming "HIII....!!!" while another blurts "EHHH!!!" In a wide view of the rocky shoreline, Kuro sits alone in the distance as narration explains, "IS TO ELIMINATE THE NAME 'CAPTAIN KURO' FOREVER!!" and "THE REAL PURPOSE OF THIS PLAN..." Jango stands nearby with a question mark above his head. From the foreground, several cat-masked pirates watch while Kuro turns and asks coldly, "YOU STILL DON'T UNDERSTANDI"

Kuro stands tall, declaring, "MAKING PLANS FOR YOU RECKLESS MORONS..." and "I'M SICK AND TIRED..." In close-up he continues, "I DECIDED TO KILL MYSELF... THAT'S WHY ON THAT DAY, THREE YEARS AGO," while a smaller panel shows him on a cliff as he recalls, "THAT REALLY STARTED TO ANNOY ME... THE GOVERNMENT'S MARINES AND PROFESSIONAL BOUNTY HUNTERS KEPT COMING AFTER ME, AS MY NAME BECAME MORE AND MORE NOTORIOUS." On the ship, a crewman shouts, "CAPTAIN KURO IS LOOKING FOR YOU!" Jango clutches his head in panic, yelling, "WHAT IS ITI FIRST-MATE JANGO! IT'S THAT... THAT INCIDENT...!!! THA... THAT DAY..."

Three years earlier, Kuro lounges on the deck reading a book and says, "JANGO... I WANT TO LEAVE THE SHIP..." A caption reads, "THE 100 PLANS KURO (3 YEARS AGO)." Jango protests with heart-shaped eyes, "BUT THIS IS YOUR SHIP! AND YOU'RE THE CAPTAIN!" Inside the cabin a crewman reports, "A MARINE SHIP IS SPOTTED TO THE NORTH!! AGAIN!I THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS WEEK!!" while Kuro sits at a table and replies, "HUH...I WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUTI! I DON'T THINK I'M SUITED FOR A PIRATE'S LIFE. I'M SICK OF THIS CHAOTIC LIFESTYLE. YOU CAN BE THE NEXT CAPTAIN."

The crew panics as marines fire on the ship. Kuro gestures angrily, "BECAUSE OF THAT, YOU'VE BECOME NOTORIOUS. WE'RE DOING THINGS THAT GET US HUNTED. WE DON'T HAVE A CHOICE. SEE! THEY'VE COME AGAIN." He continues in close-up, "THAT'S WHY I DECIDED NOT TO BE CAPTAIN KURO ANYMORE. YES... IT'S THE NAME THAT DRAWS THEM HERE." Jango pleads, "NO, GET ME A SMALL BOAT. CAPTAIN KURO, WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT THE MARINESI SHOULD WE BLAST THEM WITH THE CANNONSI!" Kuro answers firmly, "THEN I WILL DIE AND MAKE MYSELF DISAPPEAR FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH." Jango shouts back, "STOP KIDDING YOURSELF! YOU'LL BE HUNTED DOWN BY THE GOVERNMENT ALL YOUR LIFE UNTIL YOU'RE DEAD."

Under a crescent moon, a large pirate ship floats calmly on the dark sea. On deck, Black Cat Pirates crew members stare toward the distant Marine vessel. One shouts, "HE'S HEADING TO THE MARINES ALONE... IS HE TRYING TO TURN HIMSELF INI" Another replies, "THE CAPTAIN LEFT ALL BY HIMSELF. WHAT IS HE DOINGI" A worried crewman shields his eyes and says, "THEY'VE STOPPED ATTACKING, AND THERE'S BEEN NO MOVEMENT OVER THERE." Another growls, "MAYBE THEY KILLED THE CAPTAIN!!" Suddenly the ship erupts into panic. A crewman yells, "AH...!!I" while another screams, "STEER THE BOAT OVER! MAN THE CANNONS! EVERYONE, PREPARE FOR BATTLE!!" Pirates scramble across the deck with weapons drawn as alarm spreads.

The Marine ship deck is littered with fallen bodies. A massive impact sound "ドーン..." echoes as a voice cries, "ARE DEAD!! ALL... ALL THE MARINES..." Below deck, Captain Kuro stands with arms crossed, his glasses glinting. He calmly states, "LET'S START THE PLAN..." A subordinate answers, "...... OKAY..." On the Black Cat ship, the crew reacts with shock. One says, "YEAH... THE OPPONENTS WERE WELL-TRAINED MARINES..." Another adds, "HIS POWER STILL BRINGS SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE" while a third notes, "EVEN THOUGH HE'S OUR CAPTAIN..."

Kuro stands over the fallen, furry first mate and says coldly, "YOU'RE NOT DEAD YET..." The wounded man groans, "OH... UH..." Kuro continues, "IF YOU'RE GOING TO KILL ME, THEN DO IT NOW!" The first mate growls back, "I WON'T BEG FOR MY LIFE." Kuro replies with a slight smile, "YOU'VE GOT QUITE A NICE FACE" and "I'M IMPRESSED." The first mate spits, "YET YOU STILL CAN SAY SUCH CRAP" and "...... YOUR JAW IS BROKEN..." Kuro finishes, "I SHALL REWARD YOU WITH THE HEAD OF 'THE 100 PLANS KURO'."

Jango swings his pendulum and counts, "JANGO!! TWO... ONE..." while declaring, "THIS TRAGEDY WAS CAUSED BY YOU. YOUR NAME IS CAPTAIN KURO." The bound man on the deck is forced to repeat, "ONE, TWO, JANGO!!...AND, YOU'RE THE MAN WHO CAPTURED CAPTAIN KURO!!" The real Kuro steps forward, eyes glowing, and proclaims, "THIS TRAGEDY WAS CAUSED BY ME. I AM CAPTAIN KURO." He explains the scheme: "THE FIRST MATE'S HYPNOTIZED HIMSELF AGAIN. I'M THE MAN WHO CAPTURED CAPTAIN KURO!! THIS IS A PERFECT PLAN. ONCE THE FAKE ONE IS EXECUTED, CAPTAIN KURO WILL DISAPPEAR FROM THIS WORLD...!!!" In close-up he adds, "MY PLAN CAN ONLY BE COMPLETE WHEN I HAVE OBTAINED WEALTH AND PEACE" and reflects, "WHAT HAPPENED THAT DAY HAS BEEN ESSENTIAL FOR TODAY'S PLAN TO BE SUCCESSFUL..."

On a cracked forest path, Luffy stands with his back to the viewer facing a tall, thin man in a long black coat and glasses. The man speaks coldly: "DO YOU UNDERSTAND, NOW, KID...I" Luffy replies with fierce determination, "I'VE SPENT THREE YEARS DOING THIS PLAN, IT CANNOT FAIL!!" The man lunges forward in a blur of motion, shouting "...DISRUPT MY PLANS!!" and "I CAN'T LET YOU..." Luffy is struck hard, his body twisting as he yells "HEEYAAA....!!!" His face shows raw anger and resolve in close-up panels.

The brutal exchange continues. Luffy is hurled through the air with a pained "HUUH!!!" The man with glasses presses the attack, noting "SO, IT SEEMS YOU CAN DO MORE THAN JUST STRETCH." Luffy answers defiantly, "TO BECOME A PIRATE!!" and "THAT'S RIGHT! I'VE BEEN TRAINING..." He is slammed down again, grunting "UGH!!!" before countering with a powerful "HEEYAH!!" Motion lines and impact effects fill the panels as the fight rages on the rocky path.

Luffy and Kuro clash violently. Kuro warns, "IF YOU'RE AFRAID OF YOUR NAME BEING KNOWN..." while Luffy retorts, "YOU SAID THAT YOU'RE SICK AND TIREDI" Small onlookers in the background cry out, "WHOA!! THE 'CAT'S CLAWS' ARE BROKEN!!!" Luffy grins wildly and declares, "MY DREAMS ARE FAR GREATER THAN YOUR PLANS!!!" Kuro is sent flying as Luffy presses, "...THEN HOW CAN YOU BE A PIRATEI!" Massive impact SFX and debris fill the chaotic panels.
