JUNGLE BLOOD

On the deck of the Baratie, Pearl stands frozen, staring down at a drop of blood falling from his nose. "BLOOD...!" he mutters in shock. Behind him, the Krieg Pirates begin to panic, waving their arms frantically. "IT'S JUST A LITTLE NOSEBLEED! EVERYONE GETS THOSE! YOU HAVEN'T REALLY BEEN HURT AT ALL!" one yells. Another adds, "PEARL, IT'S FINE!" The Baratie cooks, watching from the restaurant's entrance, look completely bewildered. "WHAT...?" one asks. Another cook yells out, "SO JUST CALM DOWN, PEARL!" Luffy and Sanji stand nearby, observing the bizarre reaction.

A Baratie cook sweats nervously, realizing the shifting mood. "THESE GUYS'RE DANGEROUS!" he says. Pearl, trembling and sweating profusely, stares in disbelief. "MY... IRON WALL WAS BROKEN THROUGH!" he stammers. Luffy casually picks his nose, remarking, "IT'S JUST A LITTLE NOSEBLEED..." Sanji, smoking his cigarette, looks equally unimpressed. "THE HELL'S UP WITH HIM?" Suddenly, Pearl begins violently clacking his iron shields together, the loud "CLACK!! CLACK!!" echoing across the deck. The cooks brace themselves. "SOMETHING'S HAPPENING...!" one warns. The Krieg Pirates desperately try to calm him down. "THIS AIN'T THE JUNGLE!" one shouts. "PEARL! STOP IT! THERE'S NO NEED TO GO WILD OVER A DAMN NOSEBLEED!" But Pearl is lost in a panic, repeatedly screaming, "I'M IN DANGER!" as he bashes his shields. His crewmates plead, "PEARL! CALM DOWN!"

With a massive roar of flames, Pearl erupts into a blazing inferno. "DANGER!" he screams at the top of his lungs, his entire body and shields engulfed in fire. The sudden explosion of heat and flames shocks everyone on the Baratie. "FIRE!?" someone yells as the fire spreads across the wooden deck of the restaurant ship, sending thick smoke into the air.

The Krieg Pirates recoil in terror from the intense heat. "CRAP! HE'S DOING THAT THING HE LEARNED TO DO WHILE GROWING UP IN THE JUNGLE!" one pirate explains frantically. "BACK IN THE JUNGLE FULL OF WILD BEASTS, EVERYTIME PEARL FELT THAT HE WAS IN DANGER, HE HAS A HABIT OF LIGHTING A FIRE!" The Baratie cooks watch in disbelief as the flames roar. "WHAT!?" "IT'S HIS DEFENCE TACTIC AGAINST BEASTS!?" Pearl, now completely surrounded by a sphere of fire, clacks his flaming shields together. "DON'T YOU DARE GET CLOSE TO ME!" he threatens. "FIRE PEARL'S..."

"...DAITOKUTEN! (special treat)" Pearl roars, unleashing a massive wave of fire around himself. The flames surge outward, threatening to consume everything nearby. Seeing the danger, Luffy quickly grabs Sanji by the collar and stretches his arm to pull them both backward, away from the expanding inferno. "HOT!" Luffy yells as they narrowly escape the scorching heat.

The Krieg Pirates scramble away from the spreading flames, screaming, "HOT! HOT! HOT!" and begging, "PLEASE STOP, PEARL!" Pearl, however, is lost in his fiery rampage, laughing maniacally. "BURN!" he shouts. "WITH MY FLAME SHIELD, MY IRON WALL IS NOW EVEN MORE INVINCIBLE!" The pirates panic as the fire licks at their own ship. "OUR SHIP'S GONNA CATCH ON FIRE!" "CRAP!" Sanji watches the chaos with a scowl. "THAT DAMN IDIOT...!" he mutters. "IS HE TRYING TO BURN DOWN THE VERY SHIP WE'RE TRYING TO STEAL INTO CINDERS!?" "HMPH." Nearby, Luffy frantically fans himself, complaining, "AHHHH HOT HOT HOT!"

The fire rages across the extended fins of the Baratie, trapping the cooks. "SHIT! FIRE IN THE FRONT AND THE OCEAN TO THE BACK!" one yells. "WE'VE GOT NO PLACE TO RUN TO!" The heat becomes unbearable. "HOT!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!" "JUMP INTO THE SEA!" As the cooks panic, Sanji suddenly dashes forward, straight toward the flames. Pearl notices him and taunts, "CAN'T GET NEAR ME, CAN YOU!?" Sanji glares, muttering, "THAT BASTARD...!" Patty shouts a warning, "SANJI, YOU DUMBASS! YOU'LL GET BURNT TO A CRISP!" but Sanji ignores him, yelling back, "PATTY, STAY BACK!"

Sanji leaps high into the air, soaring directly over the roaring flames toward Pearl. "DON'T YOU DARE BURN THIS RESTAURANT DOWN!" Sanji shouts angrily. With incredible speed and precision, Sanji delivers a powerful flying kick, his foot smashing directly into Pearl's face and shield. The impact forces Pearl backward with a loud "UGH!" Patty watches in stunned silence as Sanji strikes the seemingly untouchable, flaming opponent.

Pearl slides backward from the force of the kick, his flames still burning. The Krieg Pirates are shocked. "TALK ABOUT RECKLESS!" "DOES HE WANT TO BE BURNED ALIVE!?" Pearl recovers, furious and confused. "H-HOW COULD YOU ATTACK ME, THE FIRE PEARL THAT WILD BEASTS WON'T EVEN APPROACH...!?" Sanji stands calmly amidst the smoke, pointing a finger at Pearl with a confident grin. "IDIOT. HOW COULD A CHEF EVER COOK, IF HE WAS AFRAID OF FIRE?" Pearl's face contorts in rage. "D-DAMN YOU!" he snarls. "WHY YOU DANDY SON OF A...!"

Pearl retaliates, swinging his flaming shield in a wide arc. "FIRE PEARL PRESENT!" he yells. Sanji swiftly dodges the attack, leaping backward with a "DASH!" As Pearl leaves himself open, Sanji immediately counters, launching a powerful upward kick that strikes Pearl's arm and shield, knocking his defense aside.

Following up his attack, Sanji lands a devastating kick directly to the top of Pearl's head. The Krieg Pirates watch in horror. "AHHH! HE GOT HIM!" "HE SLIPPED PAST PEARL'S IRON WALL!" Sanji lands gracefully on the deck, a confident grin on his face. The pirates realize the threat he poses. "WHO IS THIS COOK!?" "HE'S SERIOUS TROUBLE!"

Pearl clutches his bleeding face, completely losing his mind. "MY... MY FACE...!" he cries out. "DANGER! HE'S TOO DANGEROUS!" In a blind panic, he begins shooting fireballs indiscriminately in all directions. "MORE FIRE! MORE FIRE PEARLS!" The Baratie cooks scream as the fireballs crash around them. "AGHHH! HE'S PLANNING TO BURN DOWN THE RESTAURANT!" "THIS PLACE IS GONERS IF THE FIRE SPREADS TO THE KITCHEN!" Don Krieg watches the chaotic scene unfold from his ship. One of his men yells, "SIR! RUN AWAY!"

Suddenly, Zeff leaps down from the upper balcony of the Baratie, spinning rapidly in the air. He lands heavily on the deck with a loud clink from his peg leg. The sheer force of his landing creates a massive gust of wind that instantly blows out the surrounding flames. The cooks stare in awe. "WHAT!?" "W-WHAT!?" Zeff stands tall, his arms crossed. "I MAY HAVE LOST ONE LEG, BUT THIS MUCH IS NOTHING I CAN'T HANDLE," he states calmly.

Luffy's eyes widen in amazement. "OLD MAN, THAT WAS AMAZING!" The Baratie cooks cheer for their head chef. "HOLY CRAP! MAYBE RED-LEG ZEFF'S STILL GOT IT...!?" "HE PUT OUT THE FIRE WITH THE WIND BLAST CREATED FROM HIS KICK!" "THAT'S INCREDIBLE, SIR!" Meanwhile, Don Krieg scowls, clearly annoyed by his subordinate's incompetence. "THAT IDIOT PEARL'S MORE TROUBLE THAN HE'S WORTH!" Krieg declares. "BEFORE THAT FIRE SPREADS TO THE REST OF THE RESTAURANT," Krieg swings his massive, spiked flail weapon, preparing to launch it. "I'LL SINK THOSE 'FINS'!"

Sanji turns and sees Krieg's massive spiked flail hurtling toward the Baratie's extended deck. "SANJI! WATCH OUT!" a cook yells. "IT'S NO GOOD! HE'S SURROUNDED BY FLAMES!" Sanji realizes he can't dodge in time. "AH...!" "HOT!" Suddenly, Luffy steps in, stretching his arms far back. "ERRAND BOY!" a cook calls out. "GOMU GOMU..." Luffy shouts. He launches his stretched arms forward with incredible speed. "BAZOOKA!" Luffy's palms slam directly into the heavy spiked flail mid-air.

Luffy's "Gomu Gomu no Bazooka" successfully deflects the massive spiked flail, but the sheer weight and momentum of the weapon send Luffy flying backward. Krieg watches in surprise. "HE HIT IT BACK!" Luffy crashes hard onto the burning deck right next to Sanji, immediately screaming, "HOOOOTTTT!!!" and "HOT HOT HOT!" as he scrambles away from the flames. The deflected spiked flail crashes violently into the Baratie's mast, splintering the thick wood.

The heavy mast snaps and comes crashing down directly onto Pearl. "AGHH!" Pearl cries out as the massive wooden structure crushes him against the deck. "U... UGH..." he groans, pinned underneath. The Krieg Pirates yell his name in shock, "PEARL!" Don Krieg looks on with utter disappointment and annoyance. "WHAT'S UP WITH THIS DUDE," Krieg mutters. "MAYBE HE'S MENTALLY ILL..." Luffy and Sanji watch the scene unfold. Krieg concludes, "IN THE END, THE ONLY ONE I CAN COUNT ON IS ME!"

A voice suddenly calls out, "PLEASE STOP FIGHTING, SANJI." Luffy and Sanji turn around in shock. "AHHH!" The scene reveals Gin standing over Zeff, holding a double-barreled pistol directly to the head chef's head. Zeff is sitting on the ground, held hostage. "I DON'T WANT TO END UP KILLING YOU," Gin says, sweating and looking conflicted. Sanji stares in disbelief, his cigarette nearly falling from his mouth. "GIN, YOU...!" Luffy also yells out, "GIN!"
