The Tower of Justice still groans from the damage done to it, stone cracking and rubble spilling out near the sea. In the kitchen, Franky hears Chopper call to him: "Oh yeah, Franky!! Listen to me, before it's too late!" Franky answers, "What!? Then you mean," and Chopper confirms the crisis: "We can't do anything until we find the number 2 key!?" Franky, newly restored by cola, understands at last: "Yup, that's right. Those dorks... Well, at least now I know what's going on." He looks down at the fallen Fukuro, who lies smoking in the debris with a quiet "Crackle!!" The fight is no longer just about winning; Franky needs the key to free Zoro and Sogeking from the handcuffs.

Fukuro is not finished. From the rubble he mutters, "Chapa..." and plants his foot back on the floor. Chopper gasps, "...!! He...!! He's tough! He's back up again!" Franky tells him, "... Just stay there and watch..." Fukuro crawls forward, furious: "Jababa baba!! You've made me really angry~~!!!" Franky stands broad and calm in the kitchen smoke, restored to his full shape. He shifts both arms into position, the marks "BF" and "36" visible on his shoulders as the mechanisms begin to whir: "Weeeeen." Then he names the weapon with a hard stare: "Frankyyy"...

Franky reveals the "Destroyer Cannon!!!" Chopper's eyes shine, "Ooh!!!" but he quickly worries when Franky complains, "Ooooow!! I hate it 'cause it dislocates my shoulders." Chopper cries, "Eeeh!? Then don't do it!!!" Fukuro laughs off the setup: "Chapapapa, what an idiot!! Bombardments... will never hit me, a 'Rokushiki' user!! No matter how much you run around, you can't escape from the 'Franky Destroyer Cannon.'" Franky explains why: "Because these are pursuit cannonballs!!" Chopper realizes the scale of the trick: "A pursuit cannonball...!? Can it be a cannon that can sense the enemy and hunt them down!? I've never heard of such technology!! What is he...?"

The cannonballs roar out and curve after Fukuro. He shouts, "Wait!!!" as the explosions chase him down the corridor, and Chopper realizes the target: "You're the one pursuing him!!?" Fukuro panics when the shots keep following him: "Hack!!! I fell for his trick!!" He twists away from one blast after another, muttering "Muh!!" and cursing, "You bastard~~!!!" The attack is not true homing technology at all; it is Franky's trap. By firing at the cannonballs or drawing their path, Fukuro has made himself the one they pursue.

Fukuro disappears amid dust and broken stone. Franky searches the room, asking, "Where the heck did he go now...?" Fukuro's voice answers from hiding: "There's no point in trying to find me... Come out!! I'm an expert of 'Rokushiki' technique: 'Soru.' In addition to my imperceptible speed, my fighting style is silent as an owl's during a hunt. My target won't be able to see me until the very last second of being..." Chopper wonders, "An owl's, huh...?" Then Fukuro strikes from behind with "Toh!!" and Chopper cries, "Cough!!!" Franky points back and says, "He's been hiding over here!!! Well, I bet you didn't see that coming, did you?"

Fukuro takes the insult as humiliation. "How impudent!!!" he roars. "I won't tolerate such humiliation!! I'm a CP9!!" He vanishes with "Soru!!!" and reappears as a spinning black mass. The note explains that "dama" means ball as Fukuro curls his body into "Tekkai-Dama!!!" The iron-body ball slams into Franky with a huge impact, tearing through the kitchen wall and launching both fighters outward. Chopper can only react with alarm as the fight punches through the tower, and the momentum carries Franky and Fukuro toward open air over the sea.

Franky and Fukuro burst through the tower wall and tumble outside. Chopper sees the danger first: "...!! Ack!! Watch out!!!" Franky realizes the open drop beneath him: "Shit!! The sea is right below us!!!" They crash and spin along the outside of the tower, debris falling with them. Chopper screams from above, "Fran-kyyy!!!" while Franky is carried toward the roaring waterfall. It is a terrible position for a cyborg who can fight on land but cannot afford to be swept helplessly into the sea below Enies Lobby.

The waterfall yawns below the tower. Chopper panics, "Oh, crap...!! If he gets swept away... He'll go straight to the bottom of the waterfall!! And I can't save him if he's in the sea! Franky!! Good luck...!!!" Franky falls through spray and rubble, thinking, "Shit...!!" Fukuro is not helpless in midair. "Chapapapa!! Even if I'm thrown into the abyss, I still have 'Geppou'!!" he boasts. Franky fights the current: "I can't stop this...!!! The current is too strong!!! I can't hold my breath anymore. I've gotta surface!!!" Fukuro gloats, "Chapapa, fall, you... fall...!!!"

Back in the kitchen, Chopper hears a familiar sound through the broken wall: "Eh...!? That voice...!!!" Kumadori has escaped the refrigerator and returned huge from eating inside it. Chopper gasps, "No way, did he open the fridge door...!?" Kumadori staggers out, laughing and thanking him: "Tha-tha-... Tha-tha-tha-... Thaan!!! Ah, tha~~nk... you~~ for~~" Chopper realizes what happened: "The food~~!!! He got fatter!!! How much food did you eat from that fridge!!?" Kumadori, swollen and bizarrely grateful, fills the doorway while the Franky fight continues outside.

Outside, Franky fights against the fall and the waterfall spray. He gasps, "Haa Haa" and then cries, "Bha!!!" as he surfaces near the violent edge. The danger is immediate: "Oowhoah! I'm at the edge of the waterfall already!!!" He thinks, "Shit...!! I don't want to drown in a place like this... Hrm?" The current keeps dragging him: "I'm dying!! Dying!!! Oowah, I'm falling~~!!" Then he finds his answer. With a wild grin, he launches himself through the water using "Frankyyy Butterfly!!!" and declares, "I've gotta get to the shore somehow!!"

Fukuro uses "Geppou" above the water and laughs, "Chapapa! I won't let you do that!" He drives back into Franky with another "Dugong!!!" Franky is knocked sideways in the spray, grunting "Erk!!?" and "D'oh!!!" Fukuro keeps the pressure on, trying to force him back toward the fall. Franky sinks beneath the surface for a moment, then stares up through the water and curses, "...ng, that bastard...!!!" The fight has shifted from the kitchen to a desperate struggle over whether Franky can reach the shore before the current takes him.

Fukuro lands lightly on the water with "tap tap," shouting, "Urururry-aaaah!!!" Franky answers from the water with "Weapons"... but Fukuro avoids the shot again using Rokushiki. He cries, "Left!!!" and the sequence names his evasions: "Kamie" and "Slime." Franky misses, and Fukuro's body bends around the attack like a boneless sheet. Franky snarls, "Shit!!! What the hell was that!?" Fukuro only smiles, "Chapapa!" The sea battlefield favors Fukuro's mobility now: Geppou, Kamie, and the current keep Franky from landing the straightforward power he relies on.

Fukuro mocks him from above the water. "Too bad for you. That was close!" Franky is still being dragged toward the abyss. He thinks, "This is really bad! Gotta get to shore by any means!!!" and prepares a desperate blast: "1.0 Cola Cannon" and "Coup de"... The shot erupts as "Boo!!!" and launches him across the water in a violent burst. Fukuro is thrown off balance by the sudden acceleration, but Franky is not simply fleeing. He is using his cola power to cross the gap, get out of the current, and reset the fight before the waterfall swallows him.

Franky flies toward Fukuro with a "Foosh!!" but Fukuro still believes Rokushiki makes him untouchable. "Learned your lesson yet...!?" he says. "You can't defeat 'Rokushiki' with just your power." Franky winds up "Strong"... and throws "Hammer!!!" Fukuro slips aside again with "Kamie," letting the attack pass through empty air, and says, "Fall into the abyss!!!" The two spin above the waterfall. Franky has enough force to reach him, but Fukuro's paper-body evasion keeps turning that force into missed blows and another fall toward disaster.

Franky changes the angle instead of chasing another miss. He swings his "Strong Right!!!" and the chain of his arm wraps around Fukuro. The hook catches with a hard "Grab!!" Fukuro cries, "Eh!!?" and Franky drags him close. Fukuro tumbles in a black spiral, yelling "Oowaaaaah!" while Franky calls from the other end of the chain, "Hee hee hee... Now, come!!" The move turns Fukuro's evasive body against him: he can dodge a punch, but he cannot slip away once Franky's chain has caught and reeled him in.

Franky hauls Fukuro through the air while Fukuro screams, "Oowah!!! L-let go of me, punk!!!" Franky laughs, "Wahahaha!" but Fukuro points out the problem: "I-it's too much to support two people with a one-legged 'Geppou'!! W-we'll both fall!!" Franky calmly answers, "That's right... So before we both fall... Why don't we go back to the shore?" Fukuro asks, "Or what? Would you rather try to fight me... while supporting two people's weight? Hmph! The game is clear." He assumes their shared danger forces a truce: "My life's at stake, too. We both share the same fate now, you know... So let's get back to the shore."

For a moment, it looks like Fukuro has accepted the obvious solution. "Good... right... That's good... Let's get back to shore together!!" he says while they drift above the roaring water. But he is already planning betrayal: "Chapapa, but as soon as we get there... this battle will end...!!" Franky sees through him. "I see... Is that what you think...?" Fukuro grins wider: "Chapapapapa!!! 'Cause I just... thought of a way to finish you off with one blow!!!" Franky lowers his shades and answers with the same confidence: "...I see... Same here, Fukurou-kun...!!!" The chapter ends with both fighters pretending to share survival while each prepares the finishing blow.
