Bellamy the Hyena

Chopper and Luffy are running for their lives, screaming in terror, "AAAAA AAAGH HHHHH HHHH!" Behind them, a massive giant praying mantis and other huge insects are in hot pursuit. A voice yells, "THEY'RE COMING! WATCH OUT!" The giant mantis snaps its scythe-like claws with a "GIRI GIRI GIRI" sound. Luffy and Chopper sprint frantically, their legs a blur as they try to escape the giant bugs.

A massive block of wood is cleanly sliced off a giant tree stump with a sharp "SUPA" and "ZAZAZA" sound. Luffy and Chopper run past the falling debris, looking back in shock and sweating nervously. The giant praying mantis lands heavily on the freshly cut stump with a loud "ZUZUUUN!!" It holds up its sharp, scythe-like forelegs, which gleam with a "SSHHING!" sound, ready to strike again.

Luffy runs through the forest, holding a bug net and a stick. He yells in frustration, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS ENTIRE FOREST!" The giant praying mantis slashes at him, cutting his net to pieces with a "SLASH! SLASH!" Luffy screams, "AGHHH! THE NET!" Another voice cries out, "WHAT'S UP WITH THIS PRAYING MANTIS!?" Up in the trees, a large Southbird sits on a branch, looking down and crying "Jooee!" Chopper realizes what's happening and says, "The Southbird is ordering all the bugs to attack us!" Luffy looks up, shocked, "WHAT? It's him! HOW CAN A BIRD ORDER AROUND BUGS!?" The Southbird simply grins down at them.

Two Southbirds sit high in a tree, crying out "JOOEE! JOOEE!" Down below, Usopp, Nami, and Sanji are cautiously making their way through the forest. Usopp holds a finger to his lips, whispering, "Sshh, I hear it! Where's it coming from?" Nami looks concerned, "...!? Hold on, I think I hear something else too..." A low rumbling "GOGOGOGO" sound approaches. Usopp looks terrified, pulling at his face, "Is it a dung beetle's dung!?" Sanji looks back over his shoulder, "...The hell? I think we've got... boulders rolling towards us!?" Nami screams, "No, they're bugs!" Up on the hill, giant round bugs are rolling rapidly toward them.

A swarm of giant ladybugs rolls down the hill like massive boulders with a loud "GOGOGOGO". Nami, Usopp, and Sanji run for their lives. Sanji grabs Nami's arm to help her flee. Nami screams, "HOLY CRAP, THEY'RE HU-" and Usopp finishes, "LADYBUGS!" The Southbird continues to cry "Jooeeee!" from above, directing the swarm. Elsewhere, Zoro stands surrounded by a massive swarm of giant mole crickets and a praying mantis. He rests his hand on his sword hilt, looking annoyed. "God, there's no end to this mole cricket swarm! Stop trying to attack me, you're in my way!" he says. He glares at the bugs, "Do you really think you can beat me or something!?" He then notices, "It's the bird-cry again..."

Sanji delivers a powerful kick to a giant slug. Nami yells, "A SLUG! SPRINKLE SALT ON IT!" Sanji replies, "Oka- Wait, no! What does that have to do with this!?" Usopp shouts, "Sanji! Give it a somersault kick!" The Southbird's cry of "Jooeeeee!" echoes through the forest. Meanwhile, Luffy is running from a swarm of giant carpenter bees. He yells, "I'm sick and tired of running away! I'll take all of you on!" Chopper warns him, "No, Luffy! These carpenter bees have deadly venom!" Various voices ring out from the crew as they encounter more bugs: "PIIGGGS!", "AHH, ROACHES!", "Oh, So pretty.", and "Ahh, fireflies!" A wide shot of the forest shows the chaos as screams of "GYAAAAAAAH" mix with the Southbird's continuous "Jooeee..."

Bellamy holds up a small gold statuette, admiring it with a grin. "Look at this beauty... Now this is a fine gold statuette," he says. He looks down, asking mockingly, "The right...?" On the ground, Mont Blanc Cricket is heavily beaten, bleeding, and panting. He struggles to say, "HUFF.. NONE OF YOU... HAVE THE RIGHT TO TOUCH THAT GOLD...!" Bellamy ruthlessly stomps his foot down hard on Cricket's head. Cricket groans in pain, "NGHH-". Bellamy yells angrily, "IS THIS NOT ENOUGH FOR YA!?"

Masira swings down from the trees, yelling "BIG CHOP!" and "UKEE!" as he aims a strike at Bellamy. Bellamy looks up in surprise. Cricket, still pinned under Bellamy's foot and bleeding heavily, mutters, "YOU IDIOT..." Masira lands on the ground near Bellamy's crew. Bellamy laughs arrogantly, "Hahaha! Ain't none of you, As strong as us! Might makes right! What else do we need to have the right to steal treasure!?" Someone from the crew yells "MASIRA!" as the giant monkey man confronts them.

Shoujou arrives and unleashes a devastating sound wave attack, yelling "HAVOC SONAR!" The powerful vibrations blast outward. One of Bellamy's crew members yells, "BOSS! GET AWAY!" The sound waves hit the crew, causing a woman to scream "KYAAA!" and a man to yell "WHOA!" as they cover their ears. Bellamy prepares to counterattack, his legs transforming into coiled springs. Someone notes, "Bane Bane fruit's ability again..." Bellamy says, "He's using his..." Sarquiss steps forward, but Bellamy stops him, "Hold up, Sarquiss. I'll finish that one off." Sarquiss mutters, "That son of a..."

Bellamy crouches low, compressing the springs in his legs tightly. Masira sees this and yells a warning, "SHOUJOU, WATCH OUT!" Bellamy mutters, "SPRING..." as the tension builds. With a massive release of energy, Bellamy launches himself forward at incredible speed, bouncing off the ground and yelling, "SNIPE!" He becomes a blur of motion, rocketing directly toward Shoujou.

Shoujou looks on in shock as Bellamy hurtles toward him. Masira screams his brother's name, "SHOUJOU!" Bellamy strikes Shoujou with a devastating, high-speed punch directly to the chest. The impact is brutal, accompanied by a loud "BOKI" sound of breaking bones. Shoujou coughs up blood, gasping "GAHH-". The force of the blow sends Shoujou flying backward, crashing violently into the ground and destroying part of Cricket's wooden structures with a massive "DOOOOOM!!"

Bellamy's crew begins loading the stolen gold onto their ship. One member says, "Load the gold onboard." Bellamy, walking away from the defeated Masira, says, "Alright, let's beat it." His crew is ecstatic about the loot. "BOSS! WE FOUND SOME GOLD!" one yells. Another adds, "THEY'RE GOLD INGOTS IN THE SHAPE OF A BELL!" A third points out, "LOOK! THE LOGS TALK ABOUT A GOLDEN BELL TOO!" They laugh mockingly, "THE CITY OF GOLD MUST EXIST! UKIKIKI!" and "AHAHAHA! SETTLE DOWN, THIS HOUSE IS TOO SMALL FOR YOU TWO..." Bellamy laughs heartily, "HAHA HAHA! THEN YOU BETTER REALIZE THAT ILLUSIVE DREAMS LIKE THAT WILL NEVER COME TRUE!" He looks back over his shoulder, adding, "Grow up, old man! The city of gold is just another product of Noland's overactive imagination! If you wanna be a pirate that can make it in the coming new age,"

Bellamy continues walking away. Behind him, Cricket struggles to his feet, coughing and hacking up blood. "COUGH... HACK! HOLD UP RIGHT THERE, BRAT..." Cricket says. He stands tall despite his severe injuries, lighting a cigarette. Blood covers his face and chest. He glares at Bellamy and says, "A WET-NOSED BRAT LIKE YOU WHO DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE GUTS TO BET ON DREAMS... SHOULDN'T BE GOING AROUND TALKIN' ABOUT PIRATES." Bellamy stops and looks back over his shoulder, his expression darkening with annoyance. "WHAT WAS THAT...?" he asks menacingly.

The Straw Hat crew regroups in the forest, looking exhausted. Sanji complains, "Oh for god's sake. 7 pirates can't even catch one little bird!? Get it together!" Nami retorts, "That includes you. I can't run any more too!" Usopp defends himself, "But we were so busy being chased by bugs to do anything else." Luffy adds, "We managed to find one, All we did was run..." Zoro says, "Couldn't even get a good look at a single one of them..." Robin agrees, "It's no good..." Usopp suddenly gets angry, "WHAT!? SO IT CAME HERE JUST TO LAUGH AT US!? THAT'S IT! I'M SHOOTING TO KILL!" The Southbird flies overhead, mocking them with "JOE JOE JOE JOE JOOEEEE!" Usopp aims his slingshot, but the bird easily dodges. Robin calmly uses her Devil Fruit powers, saying, "As long as I can see it..." Multiple arms sprout on the flying bird. It falls from the sky with a "PLOP!" Chopper gasps "AH..." as the bird lands safely in a net of Robin's sprouted hands. The bird looks confused, "Joe?"

The Straw Hats return to Cricket's camp and are horrified by the destruction. Luffy yells out for their friends, "MASIRA! SHOUJOU! DIAMOND-HEAD MISTER!" Usopp looks around in shock, "WHO COULD'VE DONE SUCH A HORRIBLE THING! GODDAMNIT! LOOK! THE GOING MERRY!" The Going Merry is shown heavily damaged. Sanji curses, "Damn it... Who the hell did this!?" Zoro calls out, "Help me out, Chopper." Chopper replies, "Right!" Luffy rushes over to the badly injured Cricket, demanding, "JUST TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED FIRST, MISTER!" Cricket, barely conscious, replies, "BY SUNRISE... BUT...! DON'T YOU WORRY, THERE'S STILL TIME... WE'LL FIX... YOUR SHIP... WE WERE HERE BUT COULDN'T DO A THING... HOW PATHETIC! REALLY... SORRY..." Luffy asks with concern, "Mister! Mister, are you okay!?" Cricket just repeats, "SORRY..."

Luffy looks down at Cricket with intense anger and concern. Cricket coughs and tries to reassure him, "LUFFY! COUGH! THAT'S GOOD... IT'S... IT'S NOTHING. DON'T WORRY. MORE IMPORTANTLY... AH GOOD, YOU MANAGED TO CATCH THE BIRD..." Nami suddenly realizes something is missing and looks panicked. "The gold statuette... It's been stolen!" she cries out. Cricket sighs, "Ahh... It's fine, just forget about that.... What we need to worry about is-" Luffy's face is shown in a close-up, his expression dark and furious.

Cricket tries to downplay the theft, "Shut your trap... I said it's fine... Besides, it's my problem, not yours... Now listen!" Usopp is outraged, yelling, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, FORGET ABOUT IT!? ISN'T THAT THE GOLD YOU FOUND AFTER DIVING FOR 10 YEARS STRAIGHT TO THE POINT OF EVEN RUINING YOUR HEALTH!?" A wide shot shows the devastated camp. Cricket insists, "We'll definitely get you up into the sky...! We can definitely wrap it up by morning so no worries there. We can repair and reinforce a ship of that size in no time. If all crew members of the Saruyama Alliance work together," Luffy turns his back to them, his face hidden in shadow. Nami tries to stop him, "Hey, Luffy... I told you already- But...!"

Robin asks Luffy, "If I follow the coastline, can I reach the town we were at yesterday?" Luffy replies simply, "Yes, you should be able to." Nami yells at him, "NO, LUFFY! Don't start getting stupid thoughts now! There's only 3 hours left until we set sail!" Luffy says, "Nah, I'm fine alone." Zoro asks, "Need help?" Nami points out, "That's Bellamy's mark!" Cricket tries to stop him, yelling, "W-where do you think you're going, kid!? Don't do anything unnecessary! Do you have any idea who you'd be dealing w-" Zoro tosses his sword to Cricket, saying, "Use this if you wanna stop him." Luffy walks away, cracking his knuckles. His expression is fiercely determined as he declares, "I'LL BE BACK BY MORNING."
