Hancock intervenes when Pacifistas lock onto Luffy. Luffy thanks her, "Thanks Hancock!!" while Marines ask, "Isn't that the Empress!? How does she know you!?" Hancock blushes at hearing him say her name again, but snaps at the Pacifistas, "Don't call me by my name!! Move, Boa Hancock." The Pacifistas mark "Monkey D. Luffy" as the target and identify Hancock as "Boa Hancock... Shichibukai," but she blocks their attack. Luffy realizes, "I see!! You're on his side!!" and keeps running toward the platform, shouting, "Old man!!!"
