Sanji vs Jyabura

Inside the ruined room, the air still trembles with the heavy aftermath of the fight. Sanji stands calmly with smoke curling from his cigarette while Nami, bruised and startled, sees Kumadori collapsed nearby and Usopp lying beaten on the floor. Kumadori groans, "KRA KRAK..." Nami cries, "SANJI-KUN!! HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO GO BACK TO NORMAL?" Usopp, barely conscious, gasps, "...!!" and Sanji answers dryly, "A BATHTUB FELL FROM THE HEAVENS AND THE CURSE WAS BROKEN." Then he adds, "PROBABLY BECAUSE I GOT SOME HOT WATER ON ME... BUT ENOUGH OF THAT. BY THE WAY, NAMI-SAN..." Water splashes below as the scene turns toward the danger outside.

Sanji looks toward Nami with a teasing spark, asking, "DID YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH ME ONCE MORE--!!?" In his imagination, Nami appears wrapped in hearts; Nami instead snaps back, "I WISH THE BATHTUB HIT YOU INSTEAD." Usopp wheezes from the floor, "HAA...!!" Sanji notices him and scolds, "ARGH! AND NOW YOU'RE NOT EVEN USING ANY CHARACTER FROM 'SOGEKING'." Nami laughs, "HA-NAPP!!" Usopp coughs, "COUGH...!! ... HAA... HAA... S-SORRY, SANJI-KUN... HAA... I..." Sanji cuts through the panic with a grave look: "!! I COULDN'T REALLY HANDLE... AS LONG AS YOU'RE ALIVE, THAT'S FINE. EVERYONE HAS SOMETHING HE CAN AND CANNOT DO." He points them outward: "BOTH OF YOU... LOOK OUTSIDE." From the tower, the sea and the looming situation beyond Enies Lobby come into view.

The enormous Gates of Justice dominate the horizon. Usopp stares in disbelief, "...!! EH...?" Nami realizes, "THE 'GATES OF JUSTICE'!! ARE ABOUT TO OPEN...!!!" Sanji explains the stakes: "... ONCE THOSE GATES ARE OPENED... AND ROBIN-CHAN GOES THROUGH THEM, THE SEA BEFORE US IS... A NEST OF SEA KINGS THAT WE CANNOT CROSS. GO FARTHER AND THERE WILL BE THE 'GREAT PRISON' AND THE 'MARINE HEAD-QUARTERS'. SOON ROBIN-CHAN WILL BE GONE TO A PLACE THAT WE CANNOT REACH!!!" Beneath the great doors, someone can only say, "NO WAY..." and another cries, "LUFFY DIDN'T MAKE IT!!?"

Spandam drags Robin along the curving passage toward the bridge, one hand forcing her onward as she struggles beside him. He snarls, "NOW, COME!! I SAID, COME!!! WE'RE GOING TO THE BRIDGE!!" Robin groans, "UGH...!!" Elsewhere in the battered tower, Sanji breaks into motion through smoke and debris, the room's smashed walls and hanging fixtures behind him. At the same time, Luffy and Rob Lucci glare at each other in silence, both damaged but still standing and preparing to continue their fight.

Outside, Zoro pushes himself through the chaos and wonders, "WILL I MAKE IT?" while another fighter thinks, "I JUST HOPE... THAT WE CAN RELEASE NICO ROBIN... WITH EITHER THE NUMBER 3 OR 4 KEY...!!" Marines crowd the passages, shouting, "EITHER WAY, I HAVE TO WA... STOP THEM AT ANY COST!!!" Chimney urges, "CHIMNEY, HURRY UP!" and someone warns, "THIS TOWER WILL SOON BE BOMBARDED!!!" Gonbe meows, "NYAA NYAA." A worried voice calls, "HOLD ON, BAA-CHAN. IF WE DON'T DRAW THE SIGNS, THE OTHERS WILL GET LOST!!" Sanji, seeing the situation collapse around them, thinks, "THE SITUATION... HAS GONE FROM BAD TO WORSE."

Outside the tower, the evacuation surges into panic. A voice screams, "HEY!! LET ME GET ON IT!!" Another answers, "IMPOSSIBLE!! THE UMI-RESSHA IS FULL!!" The order goes out: "SEND IN THE SHIPS FROM REMOTE ISLANDS!!" On the ground, two men bicker as the crowd flees; one yells, "BASTARD!! NO WONDER YOU WERE UNNATURALLY CALM!!" and the other replies, "YOU TIED YOURSELF WITH YOUR OWN ROPE!!" They are asked, "HOW ABOUT FRANKY BRO!? AND THE STRAWHATS!!?" The reply is faith, not fear: "THEY'RE INVINCIBLE!! THEY DON'T NEED US TO WORRY ABOUT THEM!!" Ships cut through the water while someone shouts, "HURRY AND GET OUTTA THE ISLAND!!!" Over the fleet comes the announcement: "TEN WARSHIPS HAVE DEPARTED... TO THE JUDICIAL ISLAND: ENIES LOBBY."

Enies Lobby stands beneath the half-open Gates of Justice as the sea churns. Sanji measures the disaster with one hard conclusion: "WITHIN THE WORST SITUATION, LIES OUR BEST CHANCE!!" Back in the room, he turns to Usopp and says, "LEAVE HIS KEY TO ME. I'LL DO WHATEVER YOU CANNOT DO. AND YOU DO WHATEVER I CANNOT DO!!!" Jyabura laughs, "GYA HA HA HA HAA!!! A CHANGE OF PLAYER!? I DON'T MIND!!!" Usopp blurts, "!?" Sanji orders him, "THINK CAREFULLY. UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION!!!"

Usopp's battered face freezes as Sanji names him plainly: "USOPP!!!!" Sanji tells him, "IF YOU MANAGE TO GET THERE, YOU CAN SURELY RESCUE ROBIN-CHAN!!!" The words hit Usopp harder than the wounds. He whispers, "... I CAN!?" then lets out a long cry, "WUGOOOOOOH!!" Chopper worries from the side, "OWEEE, IT HURTS!! MY WOUNDS!!" Nami says, "HE... HE'S RIGHT!! USOPP!!" Sanji launches himself forward with "SORU" and shouts, "GO!!!"

Jyabura meets Sanji's rush by spreading his arms and hardening his body with "TEKKAI KENPO" before releasing "OOKAMI HAJIKI"--noted as meaning Wolf Bullet. The impact blasts through the room with a violent crash, striking Sanji head-on and sending shock through the broken chamber. Debris and dust burst outward as Sanji is hurled across the wreckage, but even while being thrown back he twists in the air and keeps himself from losing control.

Jyabura advances over the broken floor, muttering, "MU~~ FUFU FU!" Usopp, confused by Sanji's instruction, asks, "IS THAT SO? I UNDERSTAND." Nami presses him, "EH? WHAT!?" Usopp repeats, "I UNDERSTAND, I GET WHAT HE'S SAYING!!" but Jyabura sneers, "HEY, DO YOU WANT TO GET THE WOLF'S ATTENTION!?" He decides, "GYAHANA... I SHOULD JUST KILL THEM ANYWAY." Sanji explodes back into the fight, cutting Jyabura off with a kick that smashes through the surrounding stone. The page ends on the impact and the shocked "!!!"

Dust rolls across the ruined chamber as Sanji steps forward with a sharp "TAP," his posture calm despite the rubble around him. He exhales through his cigarette, "HSSSHH..." Across from him, Jyabura's jaw cracks and groans, "KRAN GRAN..." showing that Sanji's counter landed cleanly. Jyabura immediately strikes back anyway, driving his fingers forward with "JUSHIGAN" while Sanji braces, shifts his body, and slips into the next close-range exchange.

Sanji answers with "TROISIEME HACHIS" and then "HACHIS!!" but Jyabura hardens himself with "TEKKAI" and takes the blow head-on. The kick lands with tremendous force against Jyabura's body, yet he grunts only, "HMPH!!!" Sanji recoils as the wolf-man's iron defense holds, and Jyabura plants himself through the smoke with a low "KU" as the room shakes around them.

Jyabura mocks Sanji's attack: "WHAAT!? WHAT'S WITH HIS KICK...!!? THAT WOULDN'T HURT ME, IDIOT!!!" Sanji understands the problem at once: "... YOUR TECHNIQUE THAT HARDENS YOUR BODY LIKE... IS SO TROUBLE-SOME!!" Jyabura swings into "RANKYAKU 'KOROU'"--marked as meaning Lonely Wolf--and the wolf-shaped slash tears through the battlefield. Sanji darts through the pressure and counters with a rapid chain of kicks named for cuts of meat: "BASSES COTES" (spare ribs), "LONGE" (loin), "TENDRON" (cartilage), "FLANCHET" (stewed beef flank), "QUASI" (rump), "QUEUE" (tail), "CUISSE" (leg or thigh), and "JARRET" (shin).

The exchange tightens into close quarters. Sanji watches Jyabura's movements and drives in with "VEAU SHOT!!!" while Jyabura answers with "TEKKAI KENPO" and lets the kick crash into his hardened body. He laughs through the impact and says, "Y-YOUR KICK WON'T HURT ME..." The blast throws dust and broken stone outward, but Jyabura's confidence remains.

Jyabura fires back as promised: "LIKE I TOLD YOU BEFORE-- 'ROUGA'!!" Sanji is knocked away and gasps, "WHOA!!" Jyabura boasts, "GYAA HA HA HA, IT HURT YOU WELL-- 'ROUGA' 'TEKKAI KENPO' 'ROUGA NO KAMAE'!!! OUT OF ALL THE ROKUSHIKI USERS, THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN MOVE WHILE USING 'TEKKAI' IS ME!!!" A note names Rouga as "posture of wolf fang" and calls the impact "2ND RATE MINCED MEAT." Sanji rushes back in with "DEUXIEME HACHIS" while Jyabura hardens again with "TEKKAI!!!"

The room erupts as Sanji's attack smashes Jyabura across the floor and into the wall. Sanji, breathing hard, asks himself, "DID THAT FINISH HIM OR NOT...!?" But Jyabura rises from the rubble and says, "WELL DONE... I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR... A MAN LIKE YOU..." He changes tone completely: "... WOULD YOU SAVE HER...? SAVE ROBIN..." Sanji hesitates, "EH? WH-WHAT ARE YOU SAYING...!?" Jyabura continues, "... I'VE BEEN KEEPING IT TO MYSELF UNTIL NOW... BUT ROBIN IS... MY LONG LOST LITTLE SISTER!!" Sanji's face twists in shock: "...!! WHAT...!? FOR REAL...!?"

Jyabura deepens the lie, saying, "... I HAD NO IDEA...!! WE NEVER TALKED ABOUT SUCH THINGS... I'M NOT SURPRISED... BUT THAT'S THE TRUTH. PLEASE SAVE ROBIN..." Sanji immediately melts, sparkling as he says, "ALRIGHT, LEAVE IT TO ME! I'LL TAKE THE KEY AND SURELY RESCUE ROBIN-CHAN..." Jyabura grins. With Sanji leaning in and the key dangling, the trap snaps shut. He asks, "DID YOU REALLY THINK... I'D BUY THAT 'ROUGA'!!!?" and drives his attack straight into Jyabura, who spits out "GOBEB!!!" as the blow lands with a brutal crash.
