Allow Me to Introduce Myself

A massive man with a dog-like face states "WE WERE ALL BORN AND BROUGHT UP IN DIFFERENT PLACES" and "WE ARE SAMURAI THAT SERVED UNDER ODEN-SAMA TOGETHER." Kin'emon responds fiercely: "WE WILL WIN THE FIRST BATTLE!" and "RAISE YOUR SWORD, KINEMON!!" while rejecting pity from others. A cannon fires with "TIME TO REPORT, I HAVE FULFILLED MY ROLE!!" Explosions rock the ships as the crew yells "LET'S DISPEL THE HUMILIATION DONE TO LORD ODEN!" and "YEAH!!" amid massive waves and "WANO!!" lettering.

A giant crane takes flight carrying a figure away as feathers scatter. The fishman glares upward, teeth bared, declaring, "NOW THAT I KNOW THAT SHE'S STILL ALIVE!!" The escaping figure on the crane shouts, "I WILL ALSO FIND HIYORI AND I WILL KILL HER!" Below, the fishman is struck and sent flying, yelling, "ANYWAY, YOU ARE NOT A THREAT TO KAIDO'S ARMY!!!" The crane rider mocks, "GYAA! IT IS HIGH!!! I AM SCARED!!! GOODBYE, GUYS!!!" and adds, "YOU LIAR!! NOW YOU CAN DRAW A BIRD THAT CAN FLY AS WELL!!" The fishman retorts, "YOU WILL NOT EVEN MANAGE TO DOCK ON THE ISLAND!! KAKAKKA!!" while the rider sneers, "BUT WHEN YOU WERE WITH US WE ONLY GOT YOUR OLD ROTTEN DESIGNS!!" and "LET ME DOWN!!"

On the ship deck, retainers panic as Momonosuke is carried off, shouting, "RETURN LORD MOMONOSUKE TO US AT ONCE!" and "WHOA! LORD MOMONOSUKE GOT..." Luffy yells in shock, "OI! WHERE ARE YOU GOINGI KANJURO! MOMO!" while others cry, "IT'S SCARY! SOMEONE PLEASE!" A retainer questions, "WHATI!" as the scene shifts to the sky where Kanjuro escapes on a cloud. Luffy realizes, "LUFFY!! THEY ARE SAYING KANJURO WAS THE SPY!!" Robin notes, "IT'S OKAY TO ASSUME THAT KANJURO IS THE SPY, RIGHT ROBIN-CHANI SEEMS LIKE IT. WE HAVE TO SAVE HIM." Luffy growls, "I HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT THAT CLOUD" and "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CLOUDI" while Usopp shouts, "I'LL SHOOT HIM DOWN!" and another yells, "IS THAT TRUEI! SINCE THE VERY BEGINNINGI! THAT BASTARD!!!"

Kanjuro creates a massive ink cloud with his technique, labeled "SUMI GUMO*" and "もくもく" as it swirls and expands. A note reads "*TL: CLOUD OF INK". Luffy reacts with alarm, "WHAT!I" as ink rains down. Kanjuro commands from the cloud, "RAIN DOWN ON THEM! INK ARROWS!" The ink storm hits the fleet, with ships tossed in massive waves. Crews scream, "AA AAH!!" "KYA AA!!" and "YARGH!!!" while trying to steer, "TURN THE BOAT!!" Kanjuro unleashes his technique, "UKIYO YUDACHI EZU!!!" as ink arrows and dark clouds engulf the ships amid the raging sea.

Flashbacks surge as Kanjuro looms with a twisted grin. A voice declares, "YOUR FATHER, ODEN," while another confirms, "THAT'S EXACTLY RIGHT. EVERYONE WILL DIE AT LONG LAST AND ALONG WITH..." Kanjuro screams in panic, "PLEASE I BEG YOU, STOP IT KANJURO," as the scene shifts to a massive wave engulfing ships. Narration reads: "THEY DANGLED HOPE IN FRONT OF EVERYONE'S EYES AND EXTENDED THEIR TIME OF DEATH BY 20 YEARS." Another voice calls out, "YOUR MOTHER, TOKI." Momonosuke shouts desperately, "I AM NOT MY FATHER!! I KNOW IT BETTER THAN ANYONE!!" He continues, "I AM AWARE THAT... AN EMPTY COWARD OF A KID THAT IS SCARED OF HEIGHTS. HOWEVER, THE GENERAL OF THOSE HARDY SAMURAI IS..." An unseen figure laughs, "KAKAKA... THAT'S SOMETHING WORTH LAUGHING AT."

Momonosuke yells, "THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE ENEMY WANTS!! EVERYONE, DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME!" From the wreckage, a voice cries, "EVERYONE, CAN YOU HEAR ME!I LORD MOMONOSUKE!I" Momonosuke breaks down in tears, declaring, "I WANT YOU TO DEFEAT KAIDO AND OROCHI AND PROTECT WANO!!! I PROMISE WILL GET OUT OF THIS ON MY OWN, SO... WITH THIS, NO ONE WILL COME SAVE ME... BUT... WHAT DO I DO... IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME..." Luffy and the others react with shock and admiration. Someone shouts, "THIS LITTLE MOMO! HE BEHAVES LIKE A MAN! WORDS WORTHY OF A LORD!! SO YOUNG, AND YET... WAAAH LORD MOMONOSUKE!!"

Luffy yells across the waves, "I PROMISE I'LL COME TO SAVE YOU! YOU JUST FIND A WAY TO SURVIVE!" Enemies taunt, "WHO IS THAT BASTARDI! HACK HIM DOWN TO PIECES!" Luffy fires back, "WELL SAID, MOMO!! EVEN IF YOU'RE JUST A POOR WHINY KID WHO LOOKS LIKE A SAMURAI WITH HIS BUN!!" Momonosuke stares in stunned silence with sweat drops. Luffy grins widely and says, "WE ARE FRIENDS, AFTER ALL!!" The crew prepares to move, shouting, "LET'S GO! HEAD FOR ONIGASHIMA!! YEAH!!" A bird-like creature flies off with sound effects "PLOC PLOC PLOC PLOC" as they depart.

On the deck of a ship, a woman reports, "WE SANK THE THIRD." Another asks, "HMI WEREN'T THERE 3 SHIPSI" A voice answers, "DOESN'T MATTER, WE ARE GOING THE SAME WAY RE-GARDLESS ONE OF THE SHIPS IS RUNNING AWAY." Amid the stormy sea with damaged vessels, someone says, "DYING AT SEA WOULD BE REALLY HUMILIATING!! LET'S HURRY AND DISEMBARK ON THE ISLAND. WE HAVE A FEW INJURED AND SOME SHIPS THAT HAVE BECOME UNUSABLE. IS EVERYONE ALRIGHTI" Kin'emon faces the group and states, "A LOT HAPPENED. YOU!! WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR FACEI! I PRESUME THAT MOMONOSUKE AS WELL WON'T GET HIS LIFE TAKEN SO SOON. MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE, YOU ARE SAFE. I WAS WITH HIM BUT... KIN'EMON, FORGIVE ME... I'M GLAD I'M ABLE TO MEET YOU ALL."

On the deck of a ship near Wano, a goggled man with wild hair shouts orders to his crew: "GUYS, NO WAY WE'RE STAYING BEHIND THE STRAW HATS!!" Another fierce warrior with a headband yells, "WHAT HOSPITALITY!I GET OFF THE SHIP!!" and "OI! THIS IS NOT A HOTEL FOR SAMURAI!!!" A voice replies, "YES, CAPTAIN!" and "THANK YOU FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY." The crew reacts with shock as distant cannon fire erupts. A massive explosion rocks the water with "ボゴォン" and "GYAAA!!!" as ships are struck. The goggled captain exclaims, "WHATI!" while another panel shows "くぇぃぃぃぃ" impact lines. Onlookers realize, "THEY JUST WANTED TO DISTANCE THEMSELVES, THOSE BASTARDS!!" "LONG RANGE CANNONS!!" "THAT'S THE SHIP THAT WAS GOING AWAY!" and "THAT FARI!" as distant vessels fire upon them.

The attackers boast from their massive vessel: "THANKS TO FACTORIES, WE HAVE ALL KINDS OF WEAPONS!!" "THE WEAPONS OF WANO ARE OF EXCELLENT QUALITY!!" and laugh "GYA HA HA HA HA!!!" with heavy SFX "ドゴォン". A long-haired fighter commands, "SINK THEIR BOATS!! AND KEEP THE DISTANCE!!" Cannons roar with "ドン" and "ドン" as shells strike, sending debris flying. An enemy taunts, "LET'S HEAR YOU TALK BIG NOW!!" A huge blast "ボォォン" engulfs a ship in smoke and water with "WUUAAH!!" as the vessel begins to sink amid crashing waves.

Luffy, sweating and determined, shouts, "MAXIMUM SPEED, STRAIGHT AHEAD!! WE HAVE TO GET CLOSER!!" The goggled captain growls, "DAMNIT! WE THOUGHT TOO CARELESSLY THAT THEY HAD RUN AWAY!!" and "THAT'S NOT OUR PROBLEM!!" while noting "THEY CAN SINK A FEW SAMURAI BOATS." Explosions erupt with "KABOUM!" and "DON! DON! DON!" as ships rock violently. A fishman-like fighter yells "YARI NAMI!!" and "HMI" while others cry "DAHAHA! WE HAVE THEM NOW!" "THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING!!" "ALL OUR BOATS WILL SINK!!" and "THIS IS NOT GOOD, THEY MANAGE TO KEEP THEIR DISTANCE!!" as more vessels are hit and begin sinking.

Panic spreads as a warrior screams, "AAAHH! THERE IS A HOLE IN THE BOAT!!!" and "AH!! THE CANNONS!!" with "!I" reactions and "ズズズーン" rumbling. A massive ship looms amid waves with huge SFX "ボォォン!!!" and "!!I". A skeleton-like figure appears holding a scythe, musing, "PERHAPS THEY ARE VICTIMS OF GHOSTS OF BABIES WHO HAVE PERISHED AT SEA...I" while another notes, "IT LOOKS LIKE SOMETHING IS HAPPENING!" and "THAT WOULD BE MORE PEACEFUL THAN WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING!! WHERE DO YOU GET THAT FROMI!" A hand extends in close-up with the declaration "ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF." as "バァン!" sounds and a voice asks, "TO ALL OF YOU... IT LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE IS STANDING THERE, WHO IS IT!I" with "!I" reactions.

Jinbe stands before the crew and begins his formal introduction. "NOT LONG AGO, I RECEIVED A CUP OF SAKE FROM THE STRAW HAT'S CAPTAIN. ALL OVER THE WORLD, I HAVE CAUSED GREAT HARM TO MY COMRADES. I COME FROM A COUNTRY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA CALLED THE RYUGU KINGDOM, THE SECTOR OF THE FISHMEN." The Straw Hats react with shock as the scene flashes back to a massive seaquake and a sinking ship. "JINBE, KNIGHT OF THE SEA!!!" someone shouts. Jinbe continues, "THEY CALL ME.. I AM THE NEW RECRUIT!!" Luffy stares in wide-eyed surprise while Nami, Usopp, and others look on. "LET ME WISH US A HAPPY COLLABORATION," Jinbe says. A crew member yells, "HE IS JOINING THE STRAW HATS!!I" Another voice cries out, "NOW THAT YOU KNOW WHO I AM... NO WAY!!"

Jinbe appears in full view wearing a black kimono with geometric patterns, striking a dramatic pose. "LUFFY, AS PROMISED, I CAME BACK ALIVE!!!" he declares. Laughing heartily he adds, "WAHAHAHAHA, SORRY FOR THE LITTLE MONOLOGUE!!" The crew reacts with excitement as Jinbe continues, "SEEMS LIKE I ARRIVED IN TIME FOR THE BATTLE!!!" A small panel shows the Straw Hats shouting "BOSS!!" and "JINBE!!!" Luffy yells "JINBE!!!" with pure joy.
