A hand reaches forward. Aokiji appears in the distance with a wide grin. Multiple characters react in shock, shouting "AH... AOKIJI...!!!" A massive explosion erupts as a figure is blasted backward amid flames and debris, with large impact sound effects "キ" and "ド」. Aokiji stands amid the blast, his body steaming and damaged, with reaction sounds "ピキ」 and "ピキ」. An arm lies on the ground as the smoke clears.

A huge fiery explosion fills the sky with sound effects "パキーン」 and "パキパキパキパキ」. Aokiji emerges from the blast, his body wreathed in flames and smoke. In smaller panels below, a woman shouts "YOUNG MASTER". A close-up shows a grinning figure with a stitched mouth yelling "YOUNG MASTER!!!". Another panel shows several characters tumbling through the air with "エッヒ!!!" and impact sounds.

Aokiji stands facing a cloaked figure as a massive explosion erupts between them. The cloaked man is hurled backward by the blast. Close-ups show Aokiji's intense glare and the cloaked man's calm expression. In the aftermath, both stand amid smoke and debris; the cloaked figure breathes heavily with "HAA" while Aokiji also exhales "HAA" with floating paper scraps around them.

Smoker lies on the snowy ground, gasping as he realizes the truth. "HE WASN'T FROZEN THROUGH AND THROUGH...!!!" he shouts. "TH... THANK GOODNESS!!!" Nearby, the masked man in a gas mask looms. A tall figure with wild curly hair stands calmly in the snow, his feathered coat billowing. "I'LL HAVE TO CHANGE MY PLANS!!" the curly-haired man declares. He turns slightly and asks, "TELL ME ONE THING." The masked man replies with a laugh, "I DON'T MUCH FEEL LIKE FIGHTING YOU... FUFFUFFU!! BUT IF I'M UNABLE TO SILENCE THAT MAN HERE AND NOW..." In a close-up, Smoker glares and yells, "WHAT'S YOUR GAME!!I KUZAN!!" Kuzan answers quietly, "YOU... NOW..."

The masked man laughs wildly, "FUFFUFFU FFUFFU!!!" while Smoker sits up and calls out, "AYE AYE!! CAN I GET SOME HELP OVER HEREI HEY, HEY" The masked figure leans in close, stating, "I HAVEN'T HEARD GOOD THINGS." In the distance, Kuzan is shown mid-air, spinning with his coat flaring. Narration reads, "THE FACE OF A MERE WANDERER... AND THAT OF A MAN WITH DETERMINATION." Close-ups reveal the masked man's intense eyes and a woman's serious face watching the scene. Someone remarks, "THEY'RE QUITE DIFFERENT!!!"

Kuzan stands with his back to the viewer, a penguin-like figure beside him. He says, "I WAS NEVER UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THE WORLD GOVERNMENT WAS THE END-ALL BE-ALL... FROM THE START..." In a close-up, the masked man sweats and admits, "...I... WAS ABOUT TO DIE." Kuzan smiles faintly and continues, "AND THERE ARE MANY THINGS THAT BECOME CLEAR AFTER LEAVING THE MARINES BEHIND... EVEN WITHOUT MARINE AFFILIATION, ONE CAN ACCOMPLISH MANY THINGS." The masked man asks, "BUT WHY DID YOU COME...I" Kuzan replies, "TO SEE YOU." The masked man concludes, "FUFUFU... HMM... SEEMS THAT WHAT BROUGHT ME HERE WAS FATE."

Kuzan questions the masked man, "A... FORMER ADMIRAL... WITH THE UND-...BUT HOW DID YOU KNOW TO COME HEREI" The masked man responds, "HMMI AM I RIGHTI YOU MUST HAVE A CONNECTION WITH THE UNDER-WORLD" while Smoker reacts with shock, "!!I" and "!I" The penguin-like creature sleeps with "ZZZZZZ". The masked man then shouts, "OKAY!! IF YOU'RE DONE FIXING HIM UP, THEN SCREW OFF!!" Smoker, now bandaged, answers, "IF THAT'S WHAT YOU SAY..." Kuzan stands and declares, "IT'S ME, SMOKER."

Trafalgar Law leans forward with a serious expression, speaking urgently. "CONTACT SAKAZUKI AND TELL HIM TO MOBILIZE THE ADMIRALS. Law continues, "THAT SAKAZUKI AND HIS NEW MARINE HQ HAVE FACED... IT COULD BE THE MOST DIRE SITUATION..." The bearded man exclaims, "I'VE GIVEN YOU FAIR WARNING." Law's face fills the panel as he warns, "IT'S A SECRET THAT WE MET YOU, GOT IT!!" The bearded man panics, "I FORGOT... WELL, WHAT... EVER....WHAT WAS IT AGAIN..." Law covers his mouth, "UH... IT'S A... HEY!! YOU GUYS!! THE FACT THAT WE MET..."

A massive explosion rocks the sea at night as a small ship sails away. "THINK THEY'VE LOST OUR TRAIL!I HOW MANY THOUSANDS WOULD BE IN THE SEARCH PARTY!I HOW MANY TENS OF THOUSANDS!I" A narration box reads, "THAT NIGHT, OUT AT SEA." "IT'S ALMOST DAWN, AND NOBODY'S SHOWN UP!!" The crew debates their next move. Kin'emon declares, "RESIGN FROM THE SHICHIBUKAI OR TANGLE WITH AN EMPEROR... WHAT A CHOICE..." A skeleton-like figure replies, "NO NEED TO WORRY, SINCE WE GOT THIS ARMOR AND THESE HELMETS FROM KIN'EMON." Others shout, "THAT'S RIGHT, THAT IT IS!! THERE'S NO WAY I CAN REST EASY!! AFTER HEARING YOU THREATEN DOFLAMINGO LIKE THAT..." The skeleton adds, "I'D EXPECT HE WOULD JUST SAY 'NO THANKS' TO EITHER AND COME TO KILL US, YO HO HO!! SCARY!!" Nami smiles and says, "PIDA!I IS THAT MAN MAKING STRANGE CUISINE AGAINI I WONDER IF MOMO-NOSUKE IS YET ASLEEP. OH, HE'S IN THE BATH WITH ROBIN." The three monstrous figures roar, "WHAT DOES THAT BRAT THINK HE'S DOING!!" Kin'emon calls out, "KIN'EMON-SAN, DO YOU HAVE THE BOY'S KIMONOI" Robin smiles, "AH... PERFECT TIMING." WHO GOES AROUND BULLYING CHILDREN!I" The monsters are sent flying with impact effects as Robin stands protectively with the boy.
