Having Arrived Here

The chapter begins with a wide view of the ancient ruins of Skypiea. Narration boxes state, "With the end of the 400-year war in Skypiea, The celebration of joy continued throughout the country for several days." In the next panel, Nami wakes up, rubbing her eyes and saying, "Mnn...? What?" Nearby, Luffy is sneaking around the sleeping bodies of the Skypieans and Shandians. He whispers loudly, "HEY, NAMI! WAKE UP THE GUYS!" A sound effect reads "SNEAK" as he tiptoes past the exhausted partygoers. In a large close-up, Luffy holds a finger to his lips with a mischievous grin, whispering, "SSHHH! LET'S MAKE OFF WITH THE GOLD!"

Nami immediately ruins the stealth by yelling at the top of her lungs, "GOLD!? WHERE!?" Luffy and Usopp, both drawn with sharp shark teeth in their anger, yell back at her, "BE QUIET! YOU'RE TALKING TOO LOUD!" and "YOU'RE TALKING WAY LOUDER!" A nearby sleeper complains, "SHUT UP! I CAN'T SLEEP! GAHHH!" Soon, the rest of the crew is awake. Sanji cheerfully greets Nami, "A lovely morning to you, Nami!" Nami, confused, asks, "Huh? Is it morning already?" Usopp angrily points out, "HEY, WAIT A MINUTE! IT'S NOT EVEN MORNING! YOUR VOICE IS WAAAYY LOUDER THAN MINE!" Chopper looks confused, saying, "What?" while Zoro complains, "USOPP HIT ME!" A Skypiean observes the chaos, "Those blue seas people sure do love to party..." In the final panel, the silhouettes of Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper sit together. Luffy declares, "...Alright, so that'll be our plan. Let's make the most out of this rare opportunity to be in Skypiea!"

Elsewhere, the Skypieans and Shandians are working together. A man shouts, "CHIEF! WE FOUND THE GOLDEN BELL!" Wyper reacts with shock, "WHAT!?" The man explains, "IT WAS CAUGHT ONTO THE COLLAPSED GIANT JACK! WE'RE TRYING TO PULL IT BACK UP RIGHT NOW!" Gan Fall asks, "Really!?" and the man calls out, "ANYBODY WITH SOME MUSCLE SHOULD COME TO THE EASTERN SHORE AND HELP AT ONCE!" Meanwhile, Robin stands alone, looking thoughtful. She thinks, "PONEGLYPHS, THE STONES THAT CANNOT BE FOUND WITHOUT SEARCHING... HERE OF ALL PLACES... JUST WHEN I THOUGHT I COULD FINALLY GIVE UP MY SEARCH..." She looks towards the ruins and says, "THE BELFRY?" At the eastern shore, a large group of men are pulling on thick ropes attached to the massive beanstalk. They chant, "One more time! One... Two... THREE! PUUULL! NGHHH! PULL!"

The men continue to struggle with the massive beanstalk. Someone yells, "Damn it! We still need more people!" Another adds, "It's the pride of our ancestral city! We have to save it no matter what!" A man encourages them, "THAT'S RIGHT! PUT YOUR BACKS INTO IT!" They coordinate their efforts, shouting, "ONE MORE TIME, EVERYONE! ONE... TWO... THREE!" Two Skypieans flex their muscles, ready to help. In a large panel, the combined effort of the Skypieans and Shandians finally moves the giant beanstalk. They roar, "うおおおおおおおおお!! PULL!" as the massive plant shifts.

Usopp is busy trading with the Skypieans. He stretches a rubber band, explaining, "About 90% of the work in felling the Giant Jack came from the power of these Usopp rubber bands. I'm the only one in the world with a supply of these." The Skypieans are amazed, asking, "Rubber... band?" and "This is what a rubber band is?" Usopp continues his pitch, "But wait, there's more! Check out these iron sheets! You'd all like some iron, right?" He laughs heartily, "GAHAHA HAHAHA!" as the Skypieans eagerly offer their dials. "I brought over these specially from my ship! You can trade for these with your dials..." One Skypiean says, "No, I like these rubber bands more! I'd be happy to trade for them!" Another asks, "I want some too! Is that okay!?" Later, Usopp walks away with a large sack. A Skypiean remarks, "You're in a good mood, Usopp. Did you get a good deal?" Usopp grins, "YOU BET! GOT A BAG FULL OF 'EM! DIALS, THAT IS!" He excitedly plans, "I can do so much with them! It's time for a dial revolution for Usopp's Factory! I can even make Nami's climatact much stronger now! Can't wait to do all kinds of things to my pachinko too... Hee hee hee!" He turns to Zoro, "Hey, Zoro! You want me to make that katana into a flavour sword?" Zoro bluntly replies, "No thanks."

Zoro and Usopp are walking together. Usopp asks, "Where are Luffy and the other guys? Or Robin?" Zoro replies, "They're still inside. As for Robin, she went off somewhere." They walk past the giant snake, Nola, who is fast asleep, snoring loudly. Usopp comments, "This snake sure sleeps like a log. Well, it did dance non-stop for several days... I don't know what it was so happy about, But we better get going, Before it wakes up and causes trouble again. Huh? This gentle snake?" Inside the snake's stomach, Luffy, Nami, Sanji, and Chopper are exploring. Luffy's eyes sparkle as he shouts, "LOOK! THERE'S SO MUCH STUFF HERE!" Outside, Zoro argues with Usopp, "Gentle, my ass! You have no idea how bad this snake can be." Usopp, holding a dial, repeats, "Huh? This gentle snake?" Zoro continues, "Like I just said, you can only say that, Because you haven't seen what it's really like." Usopp presses the dial, which plays back his own voice: "Huh? This gentle snake?" Zoro realizes Usopp is just playing with a Tone Dial and yells, "IT'S A TONE DIAL! You even listening to me, Usopp!? QUIT WASTING MY TIME!"

Inside the giant snake, the crew has found a massive hoard of treasure. Sanji holds up a golden object, exclaiming, "WHOA, THIS IS REAL TREASURE!" Luffy is jumping around excitedly, "SEE! SEE!" Nami hugs a large golden piece, hearts floating around her, "AMAZING!" She wonders, "What the hell has this snake been eating...?" Chopper holds a golden staff, "So pretty! It's just like the one the monkeys had!" Outside, the giant snake Nola continues to sleep peacefully. Voices from inside echo out: "We raised it!" "Amazing!" "So this is all gold!?" "It's beautiful..." "Let's bring it up on Vearth." "It's too unstable here!"

The massive Golden Bell has been fully uncovered and stands majestically among the ruins. Someone remarks, "Simply looking at is splendid!" Another notes, "But one of the pillars seem to be broken." Robin approaches the base of the bell and spots a large stone block. "Look over there! This must be, The Poneglyph... The stone that our ancestral home and its inhabitants, Risked their lives to protect...!" Wyper asks, "What do the writings say, chief?" Gan Fall replies, "It is fine even if we do not know its contents... Our duty was simply- 'BEAR TRUE MOTIVES AT HEART AND SEAL THY LIPS.'"

Robin reads the ancient text on the Poneglyph aloud: "'WE ARE THOSE WHO WEAVE HISTORY, TOGETHER WITH THE GREAT BELFRY'S RING.'" Wyper is shocked, his eyes wide. "You... How do you know those words-" Gan Fall realizes, "Those words were engraved... On the ruins of Shandora. So your people must have been the guardians of these words for generations." Wyper stares at Robin in disbelief, "WAIT...! ARE YOU SAYING... YOU CAN READ THAT SCRIPT!?" Robin looks back at him calmly.

A close-up shows the intricate ancient script carved into the stone. Robin translates the crucial part: "THE ANCIENT WEAPON THAT BEARS THE NAME OF GOD, 'POSEIDON'... LIES THERE." Wyper is stunned, "Ancient weapon!? Why is something like that written...!?" Robin thinks to herself, "ANOTHER WEAPON...! A SEPARATE ONE FROM THE PLUTON IN ALABASTA... TO THINK THAT SUCH DANGEROUS WEAPONS STILL CONTINUE THEIR SLUMBER IN THIS WORLD..." She looks disappointed, "Another miss, I see... THIS ISN'T WHAT I WANTED TO LEARN...!" Suddenly, she notices something else on the golden base beside the Poneglyph. "...Hey! Aren't the engravings over there written in the same script?" She looks closer, "Hm?"

A large panel shows the new text carved into the gold. Robin reads it: "'HAVING ARRIVED HERE, I WILL LEAD THIS PASSAGE TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD.' -PIRATE GOL D. ROGER-" Robin is visibly shocked, sweat on her face. "THE PIRATE KING!? HE VISITED SKY ISLAND TOO!?" Gan Fall looks serious as he asks, "HOW CAN HE WRITE IN THIS SCRIPT...!?" Robin turns to Gan Fall, "...Roger? Is that what's written there? Do you know him?" Gan Fall replies, "It was over 20 years ago, but a man by that name came up here to the sky. He was a pirate from the blue seas." Robin asks, "Is his name engraved there?"

Robin looks up at the massive Golden Bell. "Yes... Although I have no idea, How he reached this bell... But the undeniable proof is engraved right here..." She begins to explain her understanding of the Poneglyphs. "...There are said to be two kinds of poneglyphs. Those that record information... And those that point to the location of the former... And this one... Is a poneglyph that records information..." She recalls the message left by Roger: "'Having arrived here, I will lead this passage to the ends of the world...' 'Lead this passage...'" A realization dawns on her, her eyes widening. "Could it be...!? That the Rio Poneglyph is actually...!?"

Wyper looks at the bell, tears forming in his eyes. "Chief, this poneglyph... Has fulfilled its purpose." Gan Fall asks, "Its purpose?" Robin explains her theory, "Yes... For the poneglyphs that record information which are scattered across the world... I believe that connecting them together forms a single passage which records the Void Century. This connected text is its complete form... In other words, the Rio Poneglyph, which does not yet exist. The Pirate King Gol D. Roger... Must have carried this passage off to his destination." Wyper cries openly, "Then... IS THERE NO NEED... FOR US TO FIGHT ANY LONGER...?" Gan Fall replies softly, "I see... That is why-"

Wyper looks out over the ruins, "HAS OUR ANCESTORS' WISH... THEN BEEN FULFILLED...!?" His men call out to him, "Chief! CHIEF!" Robin smiles gently, "Yes... THAT MEANS I TOO MUST LEAD, ALL THE PONEGLYPH PASSAGES I HAVE READ..." She looks determined, "TO THE END OF GRAND LINE! TO RAFTEL!" Gan Fall interrupts her thoughts, "By the way, girl... You and your companions desired gold, is that right? We can't give you the golden bell but how does this broken belfry pillar sound? I heard that down in the blue seas, gold was more valuable than Vearth..." A Skypiean agrees, "Ah! That's a great idea! We really have to do something to thank you all for everything!"

Robin smiles, "Is that fine? I'm sure my companions will be very pleased!" A large group of Skypieans and Shandians are shown carrying the massive broken golden pillar. "Alright, guys! Let's bring this over to their ship!" "That's right! We've gotta thank them for beating Enel!" "Be careful! It's heavy!" "WE'RE GOING TO DELIVER IT TO THIS COUNTRY'S SAVIOURS!" "Wrap it around with cloth! It's hard to get a grip!" "But it's so big..." Gan Fall speaks to Robin, "Miss... About that straw hat boy... I seem to sense the same air about him as Roger. Is it... merely my imagination...?" Robin replies, "His name is Monkey D. Luffy. I, too, confess I'm endlessly fascinated by him." Gan Fall laughs, "'D'... I see, So they even share one letter in their name... Hahaha!" Robin agrees, "Yes... And I'm certain... That too, is another important question concerning this world's history."

The Straw Hat crew is running through the ruins, carrying a massive sack overflowing with gold. Usopp complains, "Robin's sooo late..." Sanji wonders, "Why's it so empty here? What happened to all the guerillas and angels?" Zoro replies, "It's better that way. They'd come chasing after us if they spotted us. After all, we're trying to make off with all this gold!" Usopp adds, "Well, Nami and Conis should be getting the ship ready to leave at a moment's notice but..." Zoro gets impatient, "Ugh, what a bother. We don't have to wait for her. I'm heading ahead to the ship!" Sanji yells, "OH NO YOU DON'T, DUMBASS!" Zoro retorts, "DUMBASS!" Sanji yells back, "DUMBASS MARIMO!" Zoro shouts, "AS IF YOU CAN ALL TALK!" Sanji mocks him, "OH PLEASE, YOU'D BECOME A LOST CHILD AFTER SETTING JUST 3 STEPS INTO THAT FOREST!" Chopper spots someone, "Hey look, it's Robin!" Luffy waves enthusiastically, "HEEEYYY! ROOOBIIIN! HURRY UP! WE STOLE THE GOLD SO IT'S TIME TO RUN!" Usopp panics, "ARE YOU RETARDED!? DON'T SAY THAT! JUST LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE COMING BACK BEHIND HER!" Sanji sighs, "Oh, NOW they all suddenly come back." Zoro notices something, "OH CRAP! THEY'VE GOT A HUGE CANNON!" Chopper screams, "AGHHH! THERE'S SO MANY OF THEM!"

Robin catches up to the crew, smiling. "MY SACK'S COMPLETELY STUFFED!" Luffy cheers, "GET ON THE SHIP! WE CAN'T STAY HERE ANY LONGER! SEE!? LOOK AT OUR HAUL! WE'RE RICH NOW!" The Skypieans in the background look confused. "Hm? Don't tell me they're planning to leave already!?" "NO, WAIT! PLEASE WAIT A MOMENT!" The crew misinterprets this as an attack. "OH CRAP, THEY'RE ONTO US!" "RUN FOR IIIIIIIIIT!" "HEY, WAIT!" Usopp runs while dramatically preaching, "You can tell us to wait as much as you want BUT...! RISKED OUR LIVES, DID WE! IN VENTURING OUT TO THIS REMOTE ISLAND IN THE SKY! IN EXPLORING THE LEGENDARY CITY OF GOLD! FOR PROUD PIRATES ARE WE! TO RETURN EMPTY HANDED AFTER SUCH GLORIOUS FEATS SHAN'T DO!" Luffy cheers him on, "Woohoo! Preach it, Usopp!" Chopper cries out, "Robiiiiinnn! Hurry up or you'll be caught!"

Robin runs alongside them, laughing softly, "Haha, It seems they don't need it." Behind them, the Skypieans are bewildered. "Be caught!? What're they talking about!? We were just trying to thank-" "Hey, you! Didn't you say they'd be happy to accept this golden pillar!?" The crew continues to flee in panic. "WHAT!?" "BUT-" "WAAIIIT!" In a large final panel, Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper sprint away as fast as they can, carrying their stolen gold, screaming, "RUUUUNNNN!"
