Coming Down

A powerful impact strikes a spiky-haired fighter from behind, sending him flying forward with motion lines and debris exploding around him. In a wrecked room filled with scattered papers, a tall fishman with a saw-like weapon stands over a kneeling dark-haired girl. He speaks mockingly: "THEN SHE'D BE A CHEEKY LITTLE CAT... IN ANY CASE, SHE'S A CUTE LIL' THING." Another balloon continues, "SHE'S A BRILLIANT CARTOGRAPHER. OF COURSE, SHE IS STILL A MEMBER OF YOUR INFERIOR RACE. BUT SHE'S GOT A GOOD HEAD ON HER SHOULDERS. IF I WERE TO FLY YOU HUMANS TO FILTHY RATS," The fishman adds, "AND EVEN BUY HER ANY CLOTHES SHE WANTS! THAT GIRL WILL NEVER BE IN WANT FOR AS LONG AS SHE LIVES. Outside a large domed building with palm trees, voices call out in concern: "WE'VE GOT NO WAY OF KNOWING WHAT'S GOING ON UP THERE!" and "DAMN IT....! JUST WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED TO BROTHER LUFFY!I" A close-up shows an enraged fishman face shouting "WHA...!" with sweat drops and impact lines. The scene cuts to a violent clash where the spiky-haired fighter is struck hard, his body twisting amid shattered wooden debris and motion lines as large SFX "バキッ" explode across the panel.

A fish-man reels back in shock, eyes bulging as debris flies. "WHAT!I" he yells. The building behind him erupts with a massive "ビックリ!!" impact and an "AHHH!" scream. Nami stares tensely at the destruction. "A DESK..." she murmurs. Johnny and Yosaku watch the airborne furniture. "IT'S JUST A DESK..." Johnny says. "WHEW..." Yosaku sighs in relief. Nami sweats, voice faltering. "WHA... NO, UMM... I UHH, THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE ARLONG..." Johnny turns to him. "HEY, YOU WERE SCARED TOO, JOHNNY!" Yosaku fires back. "HEY! ARE YOU SAYING YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN BROTHER LUFFY'S STRENGTH!I" Another voice adds, "THAT SCARED ME GOOD. FOR A SECOND, I ALMOST THOUGHT IT WAS BROTHER LU..." Nami exhales softly, "AH..."

Luffy smashes through the room in a frenzy, furniture exploding around him. "THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!I" he roars amid giant "レレレレレ!!!" and "ドゴゴゴン!!!" sound effects. Nami watches with wide eyes, sweat beading. "LUFFY...I" she whispers. Luffy continues his rampage below, sending debris flying as more impact effects "ガチャン!!" and "ドゴン!!" erupt around him.

Nami points firmly while Luffy peeks from behind a curtain. "AND OVER THERE'S YOUR DESK AND PEN!" she declares. "FROM TODAY ON, THIS'LL BE YOUR ROOM!" she continues. "ANYTHING THAT YOU MIGHT POSSIBLY NEED IS ALL HERE!" Luffy looks stunned. "WHAT'S WITH ALL THESE THINGS BEING THROWN OUTTA THEREI" he asks. Outside, chaos erupts with "ガシャン!!!" and "ドゴン!!!" as furniture crashes. Luffy leaps through the air, sword-wielding figure nearby. "LEAP" reads one effect. "STOP THAT ALREADY!" Luffy shouts amid "ズドン!!!" impacts.

Nami cries out in pain, "AGHH!" as impacts "ヒラヒラ" and "ドサドサ..." hit her. Luffy charges with a determined "LAND!" leap, clashing fiercely. "M-MY MAPS...!" Nami gasps amid "キャン" and "ビリビリ" effects. Luffy glares intensely, teeth gritted, "NGHHH!" Nami stands before towering stacks of maps and books. "AND DON'T YOU DARE LEAVE YOUR ROOM UNTIL YOU'RE FINISHED, YOU HEAR!I" she commands. "HERE'S THE DATA FOR YOUR NEXT TASK. TURN ALL OF IT INTO MAPS!" More crashes "ドサ..." and "ガチャン!!" sound as Luffy reacts. "HOW DARE YOU DRAW FAKE MAPS...!" she yells. "DON'T YOU EVER EVEN THINK OF TRICKING ME, YOU LITTLE BRAT!" Luffy winces under the barrage, "AGHHH!"

The Marine ship Arlong Park crashes violently into the building as debris flies everywhere. Luffy is struck hard, eyes wide in pain as he shouts, "UGH!" A voice yells, "THOSE MAPS TOOK NAMI 8 YEARS TO DRAW, YOU BASTARD!" In a flashback panel, a giant shark-toothed mouth laughs "SHAHA HAHA!" while Nojiko cries out "NOJIKO...!" and another voice calls "BELLE-MERE...!" Below, Luffy charges forward with a furious "ARGHHH!" as impact lines and motion blur fill the panel. From the side, a figure in a straw hat and polka-dot dress watches the chaos and remarks, "SEEMS LIKE AN INTENSE FIGHT IS GOING ON UP THERE."

Nami stands alone, tears in her eyes as she clutches a small object and whispers, "THANK YOU..." Below, the ruined Arlong Park comes into view with smoke rising; a voice notes, "IT STOPPED..." Someone else asks in shock, "W-WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON!I" Arlong suddenly grabs Luffy by the throat with both hands, snarling, "YOU WENT TOO DAMN FAR, YOU RUBBER-TRASH!" Luffy struggles in the fishman's grip as the fight intensifies.

Arlong continues choking Luffy while taunting him about fishmen. Luffy, bloodied but determined, thinks to himself, "ABOUT FISHMEN OR HOW GREAT THEY ARE... I AIN'T GOT A DAMN CLUE... NOR DO I KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MAPS OR HER CIRCUMSTANCES... BUT! I FINALLY KNOW HOW TO HELP HER NOW...!" With a massive effort he breaks free, sending Arlong flying backward amid huge impact effects and the roar "GYAAAAAAA!"

Luffy's face fills the panel, eyes blazing as he declares, "THIS ROOM THAT SHE NEVER WANTED TO BE IN... I CAN'T ALLOW IT TO EXIST! I'LL ERASE THIS PLACE DOWN TO THE VERY LAST TRACE!" Arlong stares in shock with "!!I" Luffy stretches his arm back, shouting the technique name "GOMU GOMU...!" as he prepares his attack amid flying debris and motion lines.

A massive impact rocks the tower of Arlong Park as debris flies outward with a thunderous グク ン!!!. In a close-up, Arlong snarls while taking a heavy blow, blood and sweat flying. He roars, "COULD EVER BE DESTROYED BY THE LIKES OF YOU INFERIOR SCUM!" and "DON'T GET CONCEITED NOW...! AS IF THE MIGHTY ARLONG PARK,". Below, Luffy stares upward in shock with wide eyes and gritted teeth as a massive shark-like maw lunges forward, jaws snapping with "KAPA!" and the words "SHARK ON...".

Luffy clings desperately to a wooden pillar as Arlong's massive form looms, sweat flying. A powerful spinning kick connects with explosive force, "TOOTH!". From above, Arlong's enormous foot stomps down with multiple impact stars. The shark-man's jaws open wide as he swings his arm in a devastating strike, "BATTLE-AXE!".

Luffy's face twists in pain and rage, mouth open wide. Arlong bites down hard on Luffy's arm with crushing force, blood spraying as the fishman twists violently. Arlong screams in agony, "ARGHHHHHHH!". The impact craters the ground below as Luffy is slammed through the floor, the entire structure cracking. Luffy's own pained cry echoes, "ARGHHHHH!" while a distant figure reacts with "GUH!".

Arlong Park's upper structure explodes outward in a massive chain of impacts, "ドゴン ドゴン ドゴン!!!". The building titled "ARLONG PARK" cracks and collapses amid flying debris and smoke. Onlookers below react in shock: a Marine officer, a woman in a spotted outfit, and others stare upward with wide eyes. Someone yells "WHAT!I" as the entire tower begins to crumble.

A massive impact rocks the area as debris flies everywhere with a huge "ドドドドーン!!!" sound effect. In the next panels, a shark-like figure roars with "オオオ" while Luffy is slammed into a crumbling structure, dust and rubble exploding outward with "ゴォオオ" and "HUFF... HUFF..." as he struggles. A small panel shows Luffy's shocked face with "バチンッ!" and "HUFF...". Below, panicked villagers including Nami shout desperately: "BUT LUFFY'S STILL IN THERE!" "SISTER NAMI!" "IT'S TOO DANGEROUS! EVERYONE EVACUATE IMMEDIATELY!" "IT'S ALL COMING DOWN!" "NO WAY!" "L-LOOK! AFTER THAT IMPACT JUST NOW, ARLONG PARK IS...!" The building visibly crumbles with "パラ パラ" and "CRUMBLE" effects as Luffy stares upward in surprise, muttering "HMI".

Arlong Park's tower completely explodes in a massive blast of smoke, wood, and debris. The structure shatters with enormous sound effects "ドゴォン" and "ゴゴゴゴゴ" as the shark figure is hurled through the air. Luffy's voice echoes desperately from off-panel: "LUFFY-YYYYY!!!" The entire building collapses in a cloud of dust and falling wreckage, leaving only ruins and scattered debris across the ground.
