Aspects of Battle

High above Dressrosa, the enormous stone head and fist of Lord Pica crash down as the giant body halts. Voices cry out: "THEY GOT HIS HEAD! LORD PICA HAS STOPPED MOVING!" and "WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!I" Below, fighters clash in the streets. One shouts "THE ONE WHO'S GONNA STOP DOFLAMINGO IS... ME!" Another yells "NO, IT'S ME!" as a masked fighter is struck with "GYAH!!" and "HERE THEY COME AGAIN!!" Soldiers fire rifles while commanding "DO NOT LET THEM REACH THE PALACE! HOLD THEM OFF!" A lone figure watches from a distant rooftop.

A young woman with dark hair peers through binoculars and notes, "SO THE ONES WHO STOPPED LORD PICA WERE THE STRAW HATS, AFTER ALL..." A diagram labels the battle's four aspects: Zoro vs. Pica at the old King's Plateau, Luffy and Law heading for the Royal Palace, the Colosseum Army advancing, and Kyros' side moving upward. In the chaos, fighters yell "KYAA AAAH!", "MOVE IT!", "KYA- WHAT MOMENTUM!", and "HOW CRAZIIIIIIIN'!" One warns "EVEN NOW, THEY STILL STAND AGAINST THE YOUNG MASTER... THEY'VE STILL GOT FUJITORA'S MARINES TO GET THROUGH!" Kyros sweats and pleads, "PLEASE, GO QUIETLY, KYROS!" while the narration states the Colosseum group cannot be stopped.

A cloaked swordsman stands over fallen foes and declares, "IF WE DON'T KILL YOU GUYS, THE REST OF OUR DEATHS ARE GUARANTEED! IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME! WE MUST HAVE ALL 12 OF YOU CONVICTS GIVE YOURSELVES UP!" Another fighter answers, "IT'S NOT WHAT WE WANT THAT BOUNTY!" while a third says, "AS I, TOO... BUT IT'S ALL THE MORE REASON TO LET ME GO ON AHEAD! I CAN'T SAY I BLAME YOU FOR YOUR DECISION..." The cloaked man then grips his sword tightly and shouts, "HAVE THINGS I MUST ACCOMPLISH!" amid flying debris and impact effects.

They passed through the colosseum and have arrived upon the royal plateau. A sign marks the former royal plateau as the group emerges. God Usopp and his band have made it from the underground trading port to the surface. Viola and King Riku appear in a small inset. A map shows the path taken. Usopp, Robin, Tontatta, Rebecca, Bartolomeo, and Hack are listed among the arrivals. A massive figure with wild hair and an open mouth roars in shock, "WHAAAAAT!I LUFFY-SENPAI ISN'T HERE!" Below, a woman with braided hair declares, "FREEDOM! THAT'S MY PIRATE KING FOR YA!" Another voice states, "Luffy can't stand still in the same place for more than 5 minutes." A spiky-haired man demands, "How exactly is that obvious!I" A calm reply answers, "Obviously."

A horned, gray-haired man stares upward and asks, "And why is the royal plateau up there!I" while a stone monster rampages in the background with sound effects "ギャー どすっ". A goggled woman shouts, "What is that stone monster!I King Riku!" In another panel a hooded woman smiles and says, "After everyone's climbed up, we'll cut that net!" Robin climbs a building and warns, "Robin! We've got some pursuers climbing up after us!" Chaos erupts as people tumble from a high stone ledge with screams "WAAA AAAAAA AAH!!" and "PARDON ME." Figures including the horned man and armored soldiers fall amid sound effects and impact lines.

A large man with a chain yells "GYAAAAHH VIOLA-SAMA!" while a small crowd cheers "VIOLA! AH!" and "HERE IT IS!" Viola holds up a small key and announces, "The key, father! The key to Trafalgar Law's handcuffs!" King Riku glares and demands, "What is itI" A close-up shows Viola's determined face as she continues, "Right! Those outlaws are the only ones capable of shattering this country's facade of peace!" She adds, "Wait, Viola. Who do you think those guys are!I They're pirates!" and "I finally found it... Now we've gotta get it to him, somehow..." In profile she tells her father, "Father... I have placed my hopes in them!"

Viola declares, "I have no wish to be saved by the marines or the government and the 'justice' they tout! At the hands of the pirate whom the world government gave a title and this very country, Doflamingo... We have been made to suffer so!" King Riku growls, "The ears of those in power listen only when it is convenient!" and "This country's angry cries! They cannot hear them. The cries of the fallen they themselves have inflicted!" A small figure in a hat shouts, "I promise you I'll kick Doflamingo's ass! Promise me you won't leave my friends' side!" Viola responds passionately, "Their hearts and hands move together! At least the Straw Hats' words are sincere!"

The crowd erupts in praise as Usopp stands revealed. "BROKE THE 'TOY CURSE' THAT HAS PLAGUED THIS COUNTRY FOR OVER A DECADE! HE IS OUR HERO!" one voice cries. "THIS MAN, WITH NO REGARD FOR HIS OWN SAFETY," another continues. "USOLAND, ALSO KNOWN AS GOD USOPP!" the people shout. King Riku is urged, "KING RIKU, PLEASE, TAKE A LOOK AT THIS MAN!" A woman with goggles stares in shock, whispering, "YOU'RE... THAT 5-STAR..." The scarred warrior declares, "THOUGH THEY MAY BE PIRATES, WE WILL FOLLOW THEM TO OUR LAST!" Nearby, another proclaims, "KING RIKU, THE STRAW HATLAND CREW (OR USOLANDERS) ARE DRESSROSA'S BEACON OF HOPE!" and "AND LUFFYLAND IS THIS SUPER HERO'S CAPTAIN!" In the lower panel, the scarred man roars with excitement, "RIGHT, RIGHT! LET'S DO IT! IF YER GONNA GO TO WHERE LUFFY-SENPAI IS, LEMME GO WITH YOU! YOU CAN COUNT ON ME!" Rebecca watches tensely while Viola turns sharply, declaring, "VIOLA! I'LL TAKE THAT KEY TO LUCY!" An unseen voice adds, "AS IT STANDS, I CAN'T SIMPLY SIT IDLY BY HERE WAITING..."

Viola, Rebecca, and allies finalize their plan. "PRINCESS VIOLA, KABU AND MYSELF SHALL ACCOMPANY HER. DO NOT FEAR!" one ally insists. "IF THAT'S THE CASE, THEN LET US GO OVER THE ROOFS!" another suggests. Rebecca reassures them, "THE PRISONERS OF THIS GAME WON'T LET YOU OFF EASILY!" but Viola replies calmly, "REBECCA, IF YOU GO DOWN THERE, I'LL BE FINE!" The group presses forward. "NO PROBLEM! IT SEEMS THE FACTORY IS A BIT UNDERSTAFFED AT THE MOMENT! WITH FRALAND, WE'LL..." one states. "GO SAVE PRINCESS MA CHERIE AND OUR FRIENDS AND BRING EVERYONE BACK!" another cheers. "INHEL, CAN I LEAVE THE FACTORY TO YOUI" a voice asks. Viola commands, "OVER THE ROOFSI" The scene shifts to a wide view of the royal plateau and Colosseum as they leap across rooftops. "LET US PROMISE TO MEET UP AGAIN AT THIS ROYAL PLATEAU!" one calls. "GOT IT! SEE YOU SOON! WE CAN'T BE DAWDLING AROUND!" another answers.

Franky bursts onto the scene with a triumphant yell, "I'VE MADE IT!" A small sign notes "FRANKY'S SIDE." He glares ahead and mutters, "RIGHT..." In the next sequence he charges forward, shouting "RADICAL!!" while grunting with effort, "HNN NNNN.....!!" Massive doors labeled with a large "S" block his path. "HURRY UP AND GET LOST, YA DOORS!" he bellows. The doors resist as Franky slams into them, growling, "JUST FOR THE RECORD, THOSE DOORS... AIN'T GONNA BUDGE AN INCH WITH AN ATTACK LIKE THAT." The impact creates debris and motion lines as he forces his way through the massive barrier.

Franky crashes through the wreckage, declaring, "TO SETTLE THINGS WITH YOU!" and "BY THE WAY, I'VE COME HERE..." A massive impact erupts with SFX "ビッグォォォォォ" and "ボンッ!" as debris flies. Senor Pink appears with a smug grin, hearts floating around him, replying, "NO. A MAN, MY DEAR BOY." He adds flirtatiously, "KYAA AA— SENO ~R" with hearts. Franky reacts in shock, eyes wide, shouting, "WHO'RE YOUI! AN ENEMYI!" The panel erupts with impact SFX "ビシッ!!!" and motion lines as the two face off intensely.

At the New Land Royal Palace, fighters from the colosseum scale the cliffs amid chaos. "WHY'RE THE IDIOTS FROM THE COLOSSEUM CLIMBING UP!" someone yells. "WEIRD! KYA! SOMETHING IS OFF!" another cries. Below, a massive battle rages as the colosseum group clashes with marines. "NOT TO MENTION MARINE HQ ADMIRAL FUJITORA AS WELL! HOW'D THEY GET PAST ALL OF THEM!I" a voice questions. Explosions and screams fill the air with large SFX "わめめああ" and "あああ". "THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN SEVERAL THOUSAND MARINES DOWN THERE! AND VICE ADMIRAL BASTILLE!" an observer notes. In the foreground, a fighter in checkered attire charges forward. "OI! IS THIS ALL THE DONQUIXOTE FAMILY IS MADE UP OF!I" someone shouts. "WE'LL BE AT THE BOSS IN NO TIME!" another declares as the assault presses on.

Straw Hat Luffy arrives on the first level, unleashing a furious assault. "GATLING GUN!" he roars, fists blurring with "GOMU GOMU NO..." as marines are sent flying amid impact lines and "BUHA-!" and "GAAH HHHH HHH!". A diagram labels the New Royal Plateau levels with Luffy's position marked. "THE MARINES ARE BEING HELD BACK, THE ENTIRE LOT OF THEM!" a voice reports. "THERE THEY ARE, DERRINGER!" another calls. "THE COLOSSEUM ARMY HAS SHOWED UP FROM BELOW!" someone announces. A woman with a weapon stands ready while a smiling figure in a hat exclaims "STRAW HAT!". "WE ARE ABSOLUTELY HELPLESS AGAINST THEM! WHAT'S MORE..." a marine despairs as the palace structure crumbles under the assault.

Sabo arrives on the scene, confronting the chaos. "ACTUALLY, WHAT I MEANT WAS... AS A BIG BROTHER!" he says with a grin. "OHI" a large man reacts in surprise. "AND EXACTLY WHOSE BIG BROTHER MIGHT YOU BEI" the man demands. A massive "ドォン!!" impact shakes the area. "IS THE SUPPORT OF PIRATES THE JOB OF THE REVOLUTIONARY ARMYI" a fighter questions. "INDEED IT IS. AS A MEMBER OF THE REVOLUTIONARY ARMY, I SHALL NOT LET YOU PASS!" Sabo declares firmly. Nearby, pirates and warriors clash with marines. "THE PIRATES OF THE STRAW HAT CREW AND THOSE WARRIORS WHO CURRENTLY AID THEM... ANY AND ALL WHO ATTEMPT TO BRING HARM TO THESE PARTIES... SHALL NOT BE ALLOWED PAST THIS POINT," a voice states as the battle intensifies around the palace.
