ROUTE

The story begins with a sudden flurry of action. In the first panel, someone's hands abruptly grab onto collars with a surprised "WHA?" and "HM?". In the next large panel, Luffy is sprinting at top speed, forcefully dragging Zoro and Sanji behind him by their shirts. Zoro and Sanji are flailing wildly, caught completely off guard by the sudden movement. Zoro yells in confusion and anger, "W-WHAT!? WHAT'S GOING ON? THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, LUFFY!? HEY!" while Luffy simply shouts forward, "LET'S GO!" Sanji screams in panic, "AGHHHHHH!" As Luffy continues to drag them roughly across the ground in the bottom panels, Zoro complains, "YOU'RE BREAKING MY NOSE!" and Sanji demands, "LET GO OF ME! WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA!?"

Back in the town of Whisky Peak, Vivi looks around anxiously, noting, "CARUE'S NOT HERE...!" Nami runs past her, urging, "HURRY VIVI!" A wide shot shows the town's buildings and the Straw Hat ship docked at the riverbank. Nami calls out, "HEY!" and sighs, "WHEW." Meanwhile, Zoro is still being dragged by Luffy, grunting, "NGH!" Luffy finally hauls Zoro and Sanji onto the ship's deck, dropping them unceremoniously. Luffy asks, "ARE YOU GUYS STILL SLEEPING? WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME TO GO LOOK FOR HIM!" Zoro, rubbing his head, replies, "HUH?" Sanji, dusting himself off, says, "GOOD, NOW GET ON. WE'RE READY TO LEAVE AT ANY MOMENT NOW." Luffy proudly announces, "I BROUGHT THE GUYS!"

On the ship, Nami angrily confronts Zoro and Sanji, yelling, "THAT'S WHERE YOU WERE!?" Sanji points to a large duck on the deck and asks, "YOU MEAN HIM?" Zoro adds, "HE GOT ON THE BOAT EVEN BEFORE ME." The duck, Carue, quacks. Vivi explains that Carue was missing and would not come even after whistling, but she could not leave him behind. Nami asks, "WHAT'S WRONG?" The ship's sail is suddenly unfurled with a loud flap, and Luffy declares, "WE'RE OFF!" Nami takes charge, ordering, "WE HAVE TO LEAVE AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE! TURN THE BOAT AROUND TO HEAD DOWN THIS RIVER AND WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO REACH THE OCEAN!" Later, Luffy asks, "HEY, SO HOW MANY GUYS ARE GONNA COME AFTER US?" Vivi explains, "I CAN'T SAY FOR SURE. THERE'S REPORTEDLY 2000 PEOPLE WORKING FOR BAROQUE WORKS," adding that towns like Whisky Peak are not uncommon and that it is possible considering how serious knowing the boss' real identity is. Nami reacts, "YOU MEAN WE COULD HAVE A 1000 PEOPLE AFTER US!?"

A massive, fiery explosion erupts on the water, sending thick black smoke billowing high into the sky with a loud roar. The wreckage of a ship is seen burning intensely and sinking beneath the turbulent waves, leaving debris scattered across the surface. In the foreground, the dark silhouette of a woman wearing a cowboy hat is shown against the bright flames. She smirks confidently and says, "THINKING A DECOY WOULD WORK... HOW FOOLISH..."

On the Straw Hat ship, Usopp and Sanji are throwing a tantrum, complaining loudly to Nami. Usopp cries, "I MEAN, THE SUN HASN'T EVEN RISEN YET! COME ON, LET'S GO BACK! SO LET'S TAKE THINGS NICE AND EASY! WE ARE PIRATES, YOU KNOW! THAT'S RIGHT YOU HAVE NO IDEA IF WE'LL EVER COME ACROSS A TOWN AS NICE AS THAT ONE!" Sanji adds, "CAN'T WE STAY AT LEAST ONE MORE NIGHT!? THEIR PARTY WAS A BLAST AND THEY HAVE SO MANY CUTE GIRLS! WHAT'S GOING ON!? WHY DID WE HAVE TO SET SAIL SO SOON!?" Nami, looking calm and collected, simply says, "CONSIDER IT DONE." Zoro, looking annoyed, tells her, "I THINK YOU OUGHTA GO EXPLAIN TO THEM WHAT HAPPENED..." The ship sails away from the island as the sky begins to lighten. Someone notes, "IT'S ALMOST MORNING," and another adds, "THE FOG IS LIFTING."

A close-up reveals the woman in the cowboy hat, smiling confidently. She says, "BE CAREFUL NOT TO CRASH YOUR SHIP INTO THE ROCKS NEAR THE SHORE. AND CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR ESCAPE. <3" The crew reacts in shock, turning to see the woman sitting casually on the railing of their ship. Usopp yells, "WHO'S THAT!?" The woman remarks, "WHAT A NICE SHIP THIS IS." Zoro immediately draws his sword, gripping the hilt tightly, ready for a fight.

Luffy yells at the intruder, "HEY! WHY'RE YOU ON OUR SHIP ANYWAYS!?" Vivi looks terrified, sweating profusely as she asks, "ARE YOU SAYING... IT WAS YOU WHO DID THAT TO IGARAM...!?" The woman smiles and replies, "I MET UP WITH MR. 8 JUST A LITTLE WHILE AGO... I MUST TELL YOU MS. WEDNESDAY," A full-body shot shows the woman sitting elegantly on the railing. Vivi shouts, "WHAT'RE YOU DOING ALL THE WAY OUT HERE, MISS ALL-SUNDAY!" A text box introduces her: "BAROQUE WORKS VICE PRESIDENT (HIGHEST RANKING OFFICER) MISS ALL-SUNDAY".

Vivi explains the situation to the crew, "TO FIND OUT WHO THE BOSS WAS AS WELL! WHICH IS WHY IGARAM AND I TAILED AFTER HER, SHE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS THE BOSS' TRUE IDENTITY, SHE'S MR. 0'S PARTNER...!" Usopp asks, "WHO IS IT THIS TIME!? WHOSE PARTNER IS SHE!?" Vivi angrily accuses Miss All-Sunday, "AND I BET YOU'RE THE ONE WHO TOLD THE BOSS THAT HIS IDENTITY WAS LEAKED!" Luffy interjects, "I ALREADY KNEW THAT! OH, SO SHE'S A GOOD GUY." Miss All-Sunday smiles and clarifies, "WELL TECHNICALLY, IT WAS MORE LIKE I LET YOU TAIL AFTER ME." She looks down at them calmly, "NO NEED TO GET SO WORKED UP. I ONLY LET YOU FOLLOW ME BECAUSE YOU LOOKED SO DESPERATE... NOW, NOW..." Usopp demands, "JUST WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR OBJECTIVE!?" Luffy concludes, "OH, SO SHE'S A BAD GUY!"

Miss All-Sunday continues, her expression unreadable, "A SINGLE PRINCESS WHO FOOLISHLY THINKS SHE CAN TAKE ON THE ENTIRE BAROQUE WORKS ORGANIZATION AND SAVE HER KINGDOM... AND IT WAS JUST TOO AMUSING TO OBSERVE," Vivi glares at her, shouting, "DON'T YOU UNDERESTIMATE ME!" A brief flashback shows Igaram saying, "AND MAY WE MEET AGAIN IN OUR HOMELAND. TAKE CARE," Back in the present, Sanji and Zoro have their weapons drawn and pointed directly at Miss All-Sunday, ready to attack.

Sanji, pointing a gun, says, "BUT WHAT I DO KNOW FOR SURE, IS THAT THIS WOMAN'S A THREAT TO MY LOVELY MISS WEDNESDAY...!" Zoro, with his sword drawn, adds, "NO..." Usopp asks, "DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON...?" Nami says, "HEY..." Suddenly, Miss All-Sunday uses her power. Extra arms sprout from Sanji and Zoro's bodies, knocking them off the railing and disarming them. They yell, "AGH!?" and "WHA!?" Miss All-Sunday calmly asks, "WOULD YOU PLEASE MIND, NOT POINTING SUCH DANGEROUS WEAPONS AT ME?" The rest of the crew reacts in shock. Luffy exclaims, "OHHH!?" Nami realizes, "IT'S A DEVIL FRUIT!" Zoro yells, "WHAT!?"

Sanji and Zoro fall to the deck with a clatter, their weapons dropping beside them. They grunt, "AH!" and "WHA?" The crew stares at Miss All-Sunday in disbelief. Usopp asks, "WHAT ABILITY DOES SHE HAVE!?" Zoro wonders, "IS IT A DEVIL FRUIT!?" Miss All-Sunday sits calmly on the railing and says, "I HAVEN'T COME HERE ON ANY ORDERS NOR DO I HAVE ANY REASONS FOR FIGHTING YOU PEOPLE. FUFUFU... NO NEED TO GET SO RILED UP." Sanji, recovering quickly, swoons over her, "WHOA! SHE'S A REAL BEAUTY!"

Miss All-Sunday sits on the railing, holding Luffy's straw hat and tapping it. She says, "MONKEY D. LUFFY. SO YOU'RE THE CAPTAIN OF THE STRAW-HAT PIRATES," Luffy suddenly realizes his hat is missing from his head, exclaiming "AH!" and "!?" He then yells angrily, his mouth wide open in a comical roar, "I'VE NOW DECIDED TO SEE YOU AS MY ENEMY SO COME AT ME!!! GIMME BACK MY HAT! SO YOU ARE TRYING TO PICK A FIGHT WITH US, ARE YA NOW!?" Miss All-Sunday calmly holds the hat, looking down at them, and says, "AND A LONE PRINCESS HAVING TO ENTRUST HERSELF TO A FEW SMALL-TIME PIRATES... HOW UNFORTUNATE... SMALL-TIME PIRATES HAVING TO LOOK AFTER A PRINCESS TARGETED BY THE ENTIRE BAROQUE WORKS ORGANIZATION..."

Miss All-Sunday continues her taunting, "BUT ABOVE ALL, HOW UNFORTUNATE YOUR ROUTE POINTED OUT BY YOUR LOG POSE IS...!" She smiles slightly and says, "THE NAME OF THE NEXT PLACE ON YOUR JOURNEY IS, 'LITTLE GARDEN.'" She adds that even if she were not to lay a single finger on them, "WITHOUT EVEN MEETING CROCODILE, THE CURTAINS WILL CLOSE ON YOUR MISSION AND LIVES. IT'S MORE THAN LIKELY THAT YOU'D STILL NEVER REACH ALABASTA...!" Luffy yells at her, "Y-YOU BIG MEANIE!" Usopp adds, "YEAH, HOW DARE YOU!" Sanji asks, "HOW OLD ARE YOU?" Luffy demands, "AS IF WE'D JUST ROLL OVER AND DIE! NOW GIMME BACK MY HAT!"

Miss All-Sunday tosses a small hourglass-like device, an Eternal Pose, towards Vivi. She says, "YET TO KNOW OF THE DIFFICULTY THAT LIES AHEAD AND STILL RUSH IN IS AN ACT FIT FOR ONLY FOOLS. ENOUGH HOWLING, ANYONE COULD PUT UP A BRAVE FRONT." She explains, "MOREOVER, THE ROUTE YOU'LL BE NAVIGATING ON IS UNKNOWN TO BAROQUE WORKS SO YOU WON'T BE FOLLOWED BY ANYONE EITHER. THE NEEDLE OF THAT LOG POSE POINTS TO AN OBSCURE UNINHABITED ISLAND LOCATED RIGHT BEFORE ALABASTA. YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SKIP RIGHT OVER YOUR FUTURE TROUBLES WITH THAT." Vivi catches the device, surprised, "AN ETERNAL POSE!?" The crew discusses the offer. Nami wonders, "WHAT? IS SHE NOT A BAD PERSON THEN?" Vivi asks, "W-WHY WOULD YOU GIVE SUCH A THING TO ME!?" Zoro says, "...IT'S PROBABLY A TRAP." Miss All-Sunday replies, "OH, I WONDER ABOUT THAT..." Vivi thinks, "WHAT SHOULD I DO... I DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT THIS LOG POSE FROM HER OF ALL PEOPLE BUT PICKING THE SAFEST AND SUREST ROUTE IS CRUCIAL...!?"

Suddenly, Luffy crushes the Eternal Pose in his hand, shattering it. He says, "AH! ENOUGH WASTING TIME WITH THAT!" The crew reacts in absolute shock. Usopp yells, "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IF SHE DOES TURN OUT TO BE A GOOD PERSON!?" Nami screams, "SHE CAME OUT ALL THE WAY HERE TO TEACH US THE SAFEST ROUTE TO ALABASTA! ARE YOU AN IDIOT!?" Luffy, looking determined and angry, shouts back, "DON'T YOU DARE THINK, THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE THE PATH OF OUR JOURNEY!"

Miss All-Sunday smiles, seemingly amused by Luffy's action. "LET US MEET AGAIN SOON IF YOU SURVIVE. WELL, I DON'T DISLIKE BOLD MEN..." Luffy retorts, "I DON'T WANNA! SHE BLEW UP THAT CHIKUWA MISTER SO I HATE HER!" Miss All-Sunday simply says, "I SEE. HOW UNFORTUNATE..." She then jumps off the ship and lands on the back of a giant turtle that surfaces next to them. "LET'S GO, BUNCH." The turtle replies, "URN." Usopp exclaims, "WHOA, IT'S A TURTLE!" The crew watches her leave. Usopp demands, "HEY! EXPLAIN THE SITUATION TO US!" Nami sighs, "WE'VE GOT AN INCOMPREHENSIBLE PERSON LIKE HER ONBOARD TOO, YOU KNOW." Zoro adds, "THEN IT'S A WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT TO THINK ABOUT IT." Vivi says, "THAT WOMAN...! I DON'T HAVE THE FAINTEST IDEA WHAT SHE'S REALLY PLANNING!" Luffy observes, "WHAT A HUGE TURTLE..."

Nami turns to Vivi and says, "OH PLEASE." Vivi asks, "ARE YOU REALLY ALRIGHT WITH ME RIDING ON YOUR SHIP...? I MAY BE JUST PUTTING ALL OF YOU INTO DANGER..." Usopp yells from the deck, "I SAID EXPLAIN WHAT'S GOING ON ALREADY!" Someone asks, "WILL MISS WEDNESDAY BE JOINING OUR CREW?" Luffy notices Carue and blurts out, "WHOA! WE HAVE AN OSTRICH ON OUR SHIP!" Carue quacks. Nami scolds Vivi, "IT'S ALREADY YOUR FAULT THAT THEY FOUND OUT ABOUT US AND HOW WE LOOK LIKE! IF YOU DIDN'T WANT TO TROUBLE US, THEN YOU SHOULD'VE DONE SO TO BEGIN WITH!" Vivi apologizes, "I... I'M SORRY." Luffy shouts, "IT'S MORNING! SANJI! TIME FOR BREAKFAST!" Nami notes that Luffy looks like he does not care and asks, "RIGHT, LUFFY?" The ship sails on as Nami declares, "LET'S SET SAIL!" Sanji asks, "MISS WEDNESDAY! MIGHT YOU BE ACQUAINTED WITH THAT GORGEOUS LADY JUST NOW?" Usopp complains, "NOW THEN... SINCE THE SUN IS UP, HELLO? ANYBODY LISTENING? COULD REAAAALLY USE AN EXPLANATION OVER HERE!"

Miss All-Sunday is shown smiling as she rides away on the giant turtle. She says, "THIS SHOULD BE INTERESTING. FIRST UP IS 'LITTLE GARDEN.'" The scene then shifts dramatically to a dense, prehistoric-looking jungle. A large, fierce tiger is shown prowling through the thick vegetation. A text box reads, "THE NEXT ISLAND, 'LITTLE GARDEN'". The tiger continues to walk through the jungle, its heavy footsteps marked by "TROD" sound effects as it moves through the undergrowth.

Back on the ship, Usopp looks shocked as he hears the story. "WOW............. I'M GLAD I SLEPT THROUGH ALL THAT!" Sanji, smoking a cigarette, says, "SO DON'T WORRY! NOW THAT THE SLEEPING PRINCE HAS AWOKEN, YOUR SAFETY IS GUARANTEED. I SEE... WELL THAT'S A SHAME BUT I GUESS THAT ALSO MEANS THAT I'VE STILL GOT A CHANCE TO SHINE." The crew is relaxing on the deck. Zoro asks, "WHY THE HELL WOULD IT SNOW?" Nami replies, "YOU JUST DON'T KNOW BECAUSE YOU WERE SLEEPING WHEN IT WAS SNOWING THE OTHER DAY." Luffy wonders, "I WONDER IF IT'S GONNA SNOW..." Usopp boasts, "WELL YOU CAN COUNT ON ME TO BACK YOU UP! THE WHOLE WORLD'S TALKING ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THE 30 MILLION BOUNTY ISN'T ACTUALLY FOR MY HEAD INSTEAD!" Nami deadpans, "NOT REALLY." Sanji asks, "ARE YOU JEALOUS, NAMI?" Luffy smiles broadly and asks, "DO YA THINK IT'LL SNOW SOME MORE?" Someone yells, "HEY!"
