FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS

Luffy lands in a powerful crouch, arms spread and fists clenched, glaring forward with intense focus as bold SFX read DO-N!!. His face twists in a fierce grimace with SFX AAAA.... Nearby, Buggy flees in panic alongside a striped-shirted figure, both screaming GYAAAAAAA... as the giant bird looms behind them. Nami appears in close-up, sweat drops flying, her expression tense and worried. In the final panel the ship rocks violently under attack with repeated SFX GYAAA... and impact lines.

Luffy leaps forward through a ruined rocky path, leg extended in a powerful kick as massive impact lines and debris explode around him. A huge onomatopoeia "ゴォォォォ" dominates the upper panel while he yells at the top of his lungs, "COME OUT, YOU EVIL BUTLER!!!" Smaller figures scatter in the background. In the next panels Luffy's face fills the frame with a fierce, gritted-teeth glare; a small "!" bubble appears as he lands on the broken ground. He stands braced on the rocks, arms out, cape-like vest flaring, while a sharp "カシャッ" SFX cuts through the air and a final "SFX: SWOSH!" marks his rapid movement.

A massive black impact graphic "ドドドド" slams across the page as Luffy is struck from above, body twisting violently with sweat flying. He cries out "UUH!!!" in pain. The next sequence shows his torso and head reeling from successive heavy blows, motion lines and sweat drops emphasizing the force. Luffy is hurled backward, mouth open in a scream "AHHHH!" as he crashes onto the rocky terrain, one hand braced on the ground while his body skids from the impact.

A massive impact erupts with the huge sound effect "ズドォーン!!" as Luffy is violently hurled through the air, body twisting upside down amid swirling debris and motion lines. A shocked "!!I" bursts from him in the chaos. In the next moment Luffy appears in close-up, grinning wildly with eyes wide, arm outstretched as he declares "GOTCHA!" The adjacent panel shows him landing amid a flurry of motion lines and the rapid SFX "ザッ ザッ アッ...!!" while figures scatter across the ground.

A close-up shows the suited man with glasses, sweat on his face, angrily declaring "YOU SHOULD'VE JUST QUIETLY LET ME CHOP YOU TO PIECES...!" while another balloon reads "YOU BASTARD..." Below, on a rocky cliffside, the same man stands over a long-nosed figure as he shouts "MY BELOVED CREW, IS HALF DEAD AND IN GREAT PAIN!" and "LOOK! IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU," with small "POTA... POTA..." droplets falling. Luffy, now facing them, replies "YUP" and asks "YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAYI" The suited man and the long-nosed figure react in pain with "IT HURTS!!!" "STOP IT!" "DAMN IT..." while nearby injured crew members lie groaning "Hッ Hッ" amid blood and bandages.

Luffy glares with fierce determination, his fist clenched tightly as he shouts, "I SWEAR! I WILL NEVER..." and "EVER BE A PIRATE LIKE YOU!". Kuro stands tall in his dark suit, responding coldly, "YOU WILL DIE HERE... BECAUSE, OF COURSE, YOU CAN'T EVEN BE A PIRATE...". With a swift motion and the sound effect "ダラ", Kuro activates his technique as Luffy taunts him, "TRY AND USE YOUR 'SILENT STEP' NOW". The two clash violently in a flurry of motion lines and impact effects, Luffy yelling, "LET'S SEE YOU TRY!" while gripping Kuro during the struggle.

Kaya screams in anguish, tears streaming down her face as she pleads, "I'LL WRITE THE WILL!! JUST STOP HURTING THE BOYS!! PLEASE STOP IT!!". In the forest clearing, Usopp stands defiantly with his slingshot raised toward Kuro, who looms over him with a blade and warns, "HE'LL KILL YOU!! NO!! AFTER YOU WRITE THE WILL,". Jango steps in with heart-shaped sunglasses, shouting, "DON'T TRY TO NEGOTIATE WITH ME! IDIOT!" as another voice states, "CAPTAIN KURO SAID," while Usopp mutters, "I HAVE TO...".

In the forest clearing, Klahadore lunges forward with claws extended, shouting "...KILL ALL OF YOU!!!" as Piiman-kun watches from the side. A boy is sent flying with a cry of "UWAHH!!!". Kaya stands firm, pressing a seal to her palm and declaring, "I WILL KILL MYSELF! AND YOU WON'T GET THE WILL!!" She adds, "SINCE YOU WON'T LISTEN..." The three Usopp Pirates lie sprawled unconscious on the ground after being struck. Klahadore, eyes hidden behind heart-shaped lenses, smirks and says, "NOT LIKE THEY CAN ESCAPE ANYWAY!" He continues, "OKAY, I'LL LET THE KIDS GO! I JUST WANT THE WILL, IF I DON'T GET IT, I'LL BE IN A BIG TROUBLE!" A close-up shows his panicked face as he yells, "WAH!! WAIT!! DON'T MAKE A STUPID DECISION!!" with a large "ドキッ!" sound effect.

The three boys remain collapsed on the forest path while Kaya, seen from behind, writes on a document and is reminded by a silhouette, "DON'T FORGET TO MARK IT WITH YOUR THUMBPRINT". The boys begin to stir. One whispers, "DIDN'T THE CAPTAIN ALWAYS SAY THAT IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE GONNA LOSE, THEN YOU MUST FLEEI" Another replies, "IF WE PRETEND TO STAY UNCONSCIOUS, WILL WE LIVE...I" They realize, "I THINK SO... KAYA-SAN HAVE SAVED US..." The boys declare, "WE ARE THE USOPP PIRATE GROUP" and "WE CAN'T LET KAYA-SAN DIE... AND STILL WANTED TO PROTECT US". One boy insists, "NOW, HE'S BRAVELY FIGHTING ALONE!!! HE WAS ALL COVERED IN BLOOD..." while another shouts, "BUT CAPTAIN IS A LIAR!!!"

Kuro stands holding the will, smirking as he reads aloud. "GOOD... THIS IS DEFINITELY YOUR WILL THAT EVEN SAVED ME TIME HYPNOTIZING YOU..." A large speech bubble declares, "I'M LEAVING ALL OF MY INHERITANCE TO MY BUTLER, CLA-HADOR." In the next panel Kuro spins into action, extending his clawed gloves with a fierce grin. "THE WILL'S NO BETTER THAN A PIECE OF SCRAP PAPER," he snarls. "NOW, YOU HAVE TO DIE! IF YOU'RE STILL ALIVE..." Kaya kneels on the ground, pleading desperately, "YOU PROMISED ME, YOU WON'T HURT THE BOYS!" Kuro looms over her, blades flashing. In close-up, sweat drips down Kaya's face as she stares in horror. Kuro adjusts his glasses with a confident smile and reassures, "I'M A MAN WHO KEEPS HIS WORDS. DON'T WORRY!"

Luffy bursts onto the scene with wide eyes and an outstretched arm, shouting, "THERE THEY ARE!!!" Below, Usopp is being pummeled amid trees and debris; impact sounds ring out as he cries, "STOP! STOP! STOP! THERE! THERE! OW OW!! DON'T HIT ME THERE, I HAVE A WOUND!!" A small figure yells, "OVER THERE!!!" Usopp continues to protest while being struck. In the lower panel Kuro suddenly appears behind Kaya, blades ready, exclaiming with relief, "THANK GOD!" He declares, "SHE'S STILL ALIVE!!!" while holding her. Kaya pleads, "LET ME DOWN..." as an unseen voice warns, "BUT SHE'S IN DANGER!" and another shouts, "YOU JUST WAIT THERE!"

In the forest path, Jango glares back furiously while fleeing. "DAMN HYPNOTIST, YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING NOW...!!!" he snarls. A close-up shows his panicked face as he thinks, "WHAT!! HE CAUGHT UP WITH ME!" and questions, "CAN I DO IT AT THIS DISTANCEI" Below, the three Usopp Pirates kids charge forward, one yelling "UGH!" as debris flies. Jango looms over a long-haired figure on the ground, declaring "I SHOULD FINISH YOU OFF QUICKLY!" while the victim gasps "UGH...!!" The kids tackle from behind with a loud "HUUAA!!" The long-haired figure shouts "DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!" as motion lines and impact effects fill the panel.

Jango's massive belly dominates the frame as he laughs "カァァァ カァァ..." The three children slam into him with a huge impact "カァァァァ" and "UWAAH", sending him reeling. "YOU DAMN BRATS!!!" Jango roars in rage. In the next panel he recovers, sneering at one child, "IT'S TOO LATE NOW, HARA-MAKI-KID!!!" while laughing "HAHAHA!" The kids continue their desperate charge down the path as dust and motion lines trail behind them.

In the forest clearing, the beanie-wearing fighter leaps through the air with swords drawn, slashing wildly as massive impact lines and debris fly. "OH YEAHI" he taunts with a wide grin. "GRIN..." SFX: CUT!! The blade slices through a thick tree branch. Below, the Usopp Pirates kids scream in panic, "CAPTAAAAIN!!!" Usopp stares in shock, eyes wide, as someone cries, "USOPP -SAN..." "WHATI!" the fighter exclaims. "GOOD!! THAT TREE BRANCH WAS BLOCKING THE WAY," he declares while gripping his swords. In a dramatic close-up, a massive fist swings forward with motion lines, striking the bound hypnotist. "EAT THIS, HYPNOTIST!!" the attacker shouts.

Kuro and the beanie fighter clash violently on the rocky ground, dust and impact lines exploding around them. "WHAT DID YOU SAYI!!" Kuro snarls. "NOW YOUR THREE YEAR PLAN WILL FAIL," the fighter retorts. Kuro struggles, sweat flying, "DAMN!! LET ME GO!!!" In the background, the Usopp Pirates cheer wildly, "KILL CAPTAIN KURO...!!" "THAT'S GREAT, RUBBER MAN!!" one yells as Luffy raises his fists triumphantly. "WAIT A MINUTE... IF HE WINS, THEN WE WON'T BE KILLED...!!" another realizes. "HE'S... HE'S GOT CAPTAIN KURO!" The fight intensifies with SFX "ぐぐぐ" and "ゴゴン!!" as the beanie fighter is slammed down, "GUH!" Luffy watches with a determined glare.

A massive impact sends Usopp flying backward with a bloodied face, his goggles askew as he howls in agony, "GYAAAA-AAAHH!!!" He immediately snaps back with fierce determination, shouting "I'M GONNA BEAT YOU ALL UP TOO, SO BE READY!" and rejecting the crowd with "I DON'T NEED YOUR CHEERS!" In the next sequence, a composed figure crouches amid rocks and debris, sweat dripping as he mutters "MY PLAN... HOW CAN IT BE... GOMU GOMU..." The page ends on a dramatic close-up of Kuro, eyes bulging with rage and veins throbbing, teeth bared as he snarls "CAN- NOT FAIL!!" while thinking "MY PLAN..."

Usopp's face twists in panic with heart-shaped goggles as he desperately launches his attack. The panel erupts with the labeled special technique "SPECIAL TECHNIQUE 'KAYAKU-BOSHI'!! (GUNPOWDER STAR)" followed by the massive SFX "KABOOM!!" A blinding explosion engulfs the scene with flying debris, impact lines, and smoke. The victim reels backward, arms flailing, screaming "BUUAA-AAAAHH!!!!" as the blast hurls him through the air.

Two furious faces glare from the top inset panel, teeth bared and eyes blazing with rage. The spiky-haired man roars forward as the word BELL erupts beside him in bold letters. Below, a massive impact slams into a long-haired figure from behind. The victim's body arches violently, mouth stretched wide in shock, limbs flailing as jagged motion lines and debris explode outward. The enormous onomatopoeic BELL dominates the center while huge black impact shapes and speed lines fill the frame. At the bottom the stricken figure's striped shoes skid across the ground, a massive "!!!!I" bursting beside them as the force of the toll overwhelms the scene.
