In the next panels, the same child wails WAAAAH...!! while a woman in a floral kimono watches from a basket. A man carrying a shoulder pole retorts, YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT SHOW ANY WEAKNESS!! YOU ARE A MAN THAT HAILS FROM THE WANO COUNTRY! The child continues I'M HUUUUNGRY!! as a woman holding a baby scolds, HUSH! YOU'RE UNSIGHTLY TO LOOK AT!! SFX: BLUB GLUB. Close-ups show sparkling produce: eggs, pineapples, apples, fish, and barrels being carried. SFX: ツケーッ and ピリピリ. In town, a desperate man pleads while being confronted: WE WON'T BE ABLE TO AFFORD ENOUGH CLEAN WATER!! PLEASE, I NEED MORE... THERE'S NO WAY MY FAMILY CAN SURVIVE THE REST OF THE WEEK WITH THIS...! A woman with horns and a revealing outfit stands beside a horse-like creature, announcing, WE'VE GOT A GREAT ASSORTMENT OF YUMMY FOOD TODAY TOO! HIHIN! OPEN THE GATES!! The creature, labeled BEAST PIRATES HEADLINER SPEED HORSE SMILE USER, declares IS 350 DEGREES!! JUST WHAT I EXPECTED FROM A HORSE!! A voice replies, THAT'S RIGHT, MASTER SPEED. PLEASE TAKE A LOOK. A lavish treasure ship overflows with food as crowds cheer, "YAHOOO!! ♡ IT'S MASTER SPEED'S TREASURE SHIP OF PROVISIONS!!! TODAY'S FOOD IS HERE!!" and "MAN, I'M STARVING!!" The ship unloads massive amounts of produce. A spiky-haired man sweats and wonders, "...WHY DO ONLY THESE GUYS...!!" while another exclaims, "IT'S SAFE FOOD...!!! ALL OF THE FOOD THERE IS GROWN WITH PURE, CLEAR WATER... IT'S PROVISIONS FROM THE PARADISE FARM....!! THERE'S SO MUCH FOOD...!!!" A woman with buns says, "I'M SURE HE'LL GET ANGRY, BUT... IT'LL BE BETTER THAN SENDING HIM FLYING SOMEWHERE. HUHI" A gray-haired man replies, "HUHI...WHY'S THATI" then tells another, "KIKU! I'M SORRY, BUT... In a crowded Wano town square lined with pagodas and banners, a commanding voice orders a young dark-haired girl, "WOMAN!! YOU'VE BEEN CHOSEN. COME FORWARD." Another figure adds, "LET'S GO AHEAD AND EXECUTE ONE OF YOU RIGHT HERE AND NOW!!" and "NOW, NOW... I DON'T NEED ALL THREE OF YOU TO BE MY HOSTAGES!!" A cat-masked man reacts in shock with "!I" while nearby figures mutter and a large beast-like Gifter growls "KYAH!" and "COME!!" Suddenly the girl vanishes from the scene. The beast pirate stares in confusion, shouting "HUHII WHERE'D THE GIRL GO!I" as a heavy impact lands with "BUGH...!!!"

Luffy bursts onto the scene carrying Tama, shouting "WE'RE GONNA MAKE A RUN FOR IT, TAMA!!" and "SORRY FOR TAKING SO LONG!!" A massive dog-like creature barks "WOOF!! WOOF!!" while a swordsman reacts with "WHAT!I WHEN DID HE...!I" Below, chaos erupts as a figure yells "GO GET THE GIRL BACK...!!" and another demands "KAMUIRO!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!I" A lion-masked Gifter is struck with "SLASH SLASH!!!" and "GYAAH!" A bearded man points and calls "DOG!! THIS WAY!!" as the dog barks "WOOF!!" and Tama cries out in alarm.

Komachiyo races through the streets carrying Luffy and Tama while barking "WOOF!!" Luffy yells "ZOROJUURO!!" A voice commands "HEAD STRAIGHT OUT OF TOWN!!" In close-up Luffy reassures Tama, "EVEN THOUGH HE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GET ANY KIBIDANGO USING THEM...!!! I'M FINE. HE JUST PINCHED MY CHEEK WITH PLIERS, THAT'S ALL." Tama asks "HMI WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR CHEEKI" Below, the lion-masked Gifter roars "ROAR!! LION FIRE!!!" and unleashes a fiery blast. Luffy is sent flying with "WAAAH!!" while reacting "PLIERS...!!I"

Luffy is engulfed in a massive fiery explosion but emerges shouting "I'M FINE!! YOU'VE ALREADY SAVED ME!!" The lion-masked Gifter laughs "GAHAHA HAHA!!" while declaring "WATCH... THIS IS THE POWER OF THE CHASING SWORD... THE KARAKURI SWORD!!" Luffy counters with a blazing kick, yelling "RED HAWK!!!!" The impact sends the Gifter flying as Luffy thinks "TALKING IT OUT IS FUTILE... LUFFY IS ENRAGED!!!" The chapter ends with the defeated Gifter and Luffy's determined face.
