Luffytaro Repays a Favor

A massive impact rocks the Flower Capital as a huge "ベンッ!!" erupts above burning buildings and scattering debris. The narration box declares ONE BLOW TO A HEADLINER! In the chaos, a cloaked swordsman charges while a horned minotaur-like figure named Lord Holdem roars. A young girl with pigtails screams "WAGH!" as she is flung through the air. Below, Lord Holdem bellows "LORD HOLDEM!" amid swirling dust and panicked townspeople.

Luffy-taro bursts from a cloud of smoke atop a massive shaggy lion-dog creature that barks "WOOF WOOF!" Someone shouts "LUFFY-TARO!" A woman cries "DON'T STOP! HEAD STRAIGHT TO THE GATE!" while another voice notes "HE'S GONE AND DONE IT..." In the next panels a shocked onlooker asks "SOMEONE LIKE YOU, DEFEATED IN ONE BLOWI! WHO IS THAT MANI!" Lord Holdem is sent flying with a loud crash as the crowd yells "LORD HOLDEM-EEEEM!" Luffy-taro lands in a fighting stance, declaring "ALRIGHT, WE'VE GOTTA SPLIT!" while enemies shout "WHOAA AGGGH! HALT!"

Confusion erupts as onlookers yell "WAIT... THE HELL ARE YOU DOINGI!" and "A HUMANI!" while a woman is lifted into the air shouting "KYAAAAAH! WHO IS THATI! BEING EMBRACED LIKE THIS..." Luffy-taro grabs a rearing horse and yells "A HORSE! PERFECT! GIDDY-UP!" and "LADY SPEED!" Speed protests "OI, TAMA!" as Tama offers "GIMME ONE OF YOUR DANGOS!" The horse is dragged down amid cries of "DRAG HIM DOWN!" and "IP!" Tama feeds a dango to the creature while it chomps "HEEN! YUMMY!" and she commands "'KAY, NOW CONTROL THAT HORSE! GO!" Speed gasps "WHA-I! I CAN'T! IT DOESN'T WORK ON HUMA—"

A wild half-horse creature races at top speed with two riders aboard. The front rider, a horned figure in a revealing outfit, cheers wildly, "YAY! IT WORKED! WOO HOO!" while the creature itself calls back, "HEHEEN! WHERE TO, MASTERI" with a heart symbol. Speech bubbles exclaim "LADY SPEEDI!" as dust and motion lines fill the panel. In the next tier, Luffy and a young girl cling to the speeding creature. Luffy shouts, "ALRIGHT, UMAMI! FOLLOW THAT TREASURE SHIP!" The girl protests, "ERM... WE'D LIKE TO FOLLOW'N IT! I'M NOT YOUR SERVANT." Luffy grins, "SO FAST!" while the creature replies, "HEHEEN! MASTER!" and another voice wonders, "PROBABLY CAUSE THIS THING'S HALF HORSE! WHYI!" Below, two samurai watch from afar. One calls out, "BROTHER, BACK THERE..." The other echoes, "BRO-THER!" A third figure questions, "HAVE THEY TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF A WEAKNESS OF HERSI!" while narration notes, "LADY SPEED, A HEADLINER, HAS..."

The young girl smiles warmly at Luffy and says, "YOU REMINDED ME OF'N ACE..." Luffy looks surprised as the creature leaps through the air in the background. In close panels, Luffy asks, "I" while the girl clings to him. He quickly replies, "NOTHING! NOTHING AT ALL." Distant figures tumble with impact lines and "ぎゅっ!" sound effects. A voice shouts, "WHATI! WHAT WAS THATI" A stern man with long hair and a tattooed forehead appears, demanding, "WHO ARE YOUI!" A hand makes a three-finger gesture with "SSU..." A large sign reads "BAKURA TOWN NEAR THE ENTRANCE." The long-haired man draws his sword and declares, "I'LL BE TAKING YOUR LIFE."

A massive "ROOM!" and "ブィゥーン!!" effect erupts over Bakura Town as the long-haired man stands ready with his sword. The tattooed man reacts with "!I" while riders charge in the distance. Close-ups show the tattooed man's hand with "AND THAT TATTOO!" and his serious face thinking, "THIS POWER... THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING LIKE TAKING OUT HOLD'EM. WE RAISE A FINGER ON HIM, IT'S ALL OVER. RORONOA'S WITH THEM, AND HE SHOULD KNOW THE PLAN..." The long-haired man swings his sword, shouting, "DISAPPEAR, HAWKINS!" with a "FYUN!" effect. Sweat drops on his face as he concludes, "IT'S POSSIBLE! THESE TWO... THEY MADE AN ALLIANCE!"

The long-haired man (Hawkins) is struck from behind by a massive spiked weapon, reacting with "!!I" and "CHAMBRES." as a "フゥゥ!" sound effect appears. He spins through the air in his patterned cloak, eyes fierce. In the next panel he lunges forward with a determined glare. Below, townspeople panic as a giant creature rampages. One screams, "WHA-I! HE'S STILL ALIVE! WHAT THE-I! HELP ME!" while another yells, "HUH-I!" and "UWAAAGH!" as the beast attacks with "ズバァァ!!" and "ズゴォォ!!" effects, sending figures flying.

Trafalgar Law stands amid swirling smoke and debris as his attack launches a helmet skyward. A voice demands, "NOW, THEN, WHAT SORT OF POWER WAS THAT JUST NOWI!" Another orders, "REMOVE THAT HELMET!" Law replies, "IT'S USELESS." In the next instant a massive shockwave erupts across the battlefield. Law's blade slices through the air while armored figures are hurled in every direction. A towering long-haired warrior with a spiked gauntlet stares in shock, mouth open, as smoke and impact lines fill the panel. Close-ups show Law's intense glare and narrowed eyes amid flying debris and motion lines.

Trafalgar Law, back turned, speaks while holding his sword near the long-haired warrior's throat: "I DON'T LIKE TAKING LIVES. I'M STILL JUST BLUFFING. AFTER ALL, I'M A DOCTOR." The warrior answers, "YOU CERTAINLY CATCH ON QUICK." In the next panels Law questions, "SURPRISED THAT I KNOWI I CAME ACROSS STRAW HAT EARLIER. I ASSUME YOU SOUGHT TO SEAL MY LIPS BEFORE I COULD TELL ANYONE, BUT..." The warrior retorts, "I DOUBT YOU'RE HERE TO SIGHTSEE. WELCOME TO WANO COUNTRY. WE HAVEN'T SEEN EACH OTHER SINCE THAT FATEFUL DAY IN SABAODY, HAVE WEI" A sweating, panicked face exclaims, "THOSE GUYS... THIS IS THE WORST CONCEIVABLE SITUATION!" Nearby, two figures flee while a Den Den Mushi transmits, "WE'VE ALREADY REPORTED TO LORD JACK! THEY'RE ON THE RUN NOW! LORD HOLD'EM HAS BEEN DEFEATED BY THE BANDITS!" The snail clicks, "PRR RRR! GACHA!"

A massive treasure ship decorated with a huge "宝" kanji, fish banners, and flowers crashes through the air amid clouds and debris. Voices shout, "WE'RE IN A BIT OF A HURRY!" "COMING THROUGH!" "OI! YOU LOT! OVER THERE! MAKE WAY!" A wolf-like roar echoes, "WOOF WOOF!" Below, the ship smashes into a building as panicked figures tumble: "GYAA AAH!" "UWAA AAGH!" Trafalgar Law and a spotted-hatted companion react with surprise. The long-haired warrior growls, "OH, TRAFFY. YOU BAS-TARD!" Another figure yells, "AFTER THEM! FOOD THIEVES!"

In Leftover Town a smiling man with slicked-back hair says, "IN LEFTOVER TOWN! ALRIGHT. WE'LL SPLIT THIS UP." A young woman with a bun replies, "ZOROJURO! WE'LL BE OUT OF THE CITY SOON!" Elsewhere she gasps in shock, "YOUR JOB WAS TO BE A RONIN IN THE FLOWER CAPITAL! WHY ARE YOU ALL THE WAY OUT HERE, IN KURII! YOU'VE GONE AND DONE SOMETHING BAD ENOUGH TO GET ON THE WANTED LIST, AND NOT ONLY DID YOU GET ON THE WANTED LIST, YOU SWORE UP AND DOWN THAT YOU WOULDN'T CAUSE TROUBLE!" "WHA—WHO IS HEI! IS THIS OKAYI!" The treasure ship smashes down in a crowded street, scattering people. Onlookers scream, "A TREASURE SHIPI!" "WHYI!" "HOWI!" "FOOD!" "REALLYI!" Citizens of all ages stare in awe and panic as the vessel lands amid dust and debris.

In the ruined streets, rabbit-like minks and townsfolk scramble amid debris. A voice yells, "OI! LISTEN TO ME! THOSE AREN'T LEFTOVERS YET!" Another shouts, "HEY, HEY! WAIT A MINUTE, YOU MONGRELS!" A massive wooden barrel erupts in a fountain of clear water, splashing everywhere. Text proclaims "MONEY-FREE, TOO! POISON-FREE! WATER!" as creatures cry "GUEHI!" One onlooker gasps "HUHI!" Below, ecstatic townspeople cheer with hearts floating around them: "SO MUCH DRINKABLE WATER... HOW MANY YEARS HAS IT BEEN..." Luffy, wide-eyed and pointing at himself, declares, "THE NAME'S LUFFYTARO! ANYONE ASKS, YOU TELL 'EM!" Others shout "WATERI!" and "LUFFYTARO! THANK YOU!"

A young girl with an apple remarks "AN APPLE!" while distant figures stand amid burning buildings. Luffy, facing Law, says "STRAW HAT... THIS IS REBELLION." Law replies "IT'S BEEN A WHILE!" Luffy reacts "HUHI! TRAFFY!" Smoke rises as someone asks "WHERE ARE THE FIRE FIGHTERSI! THE FIRE'S SPREADING." Luffy yells "OI! SAVE SOME MEAT FOR ME, TOO!" and explains "TAMA GAVE ME. THIS IS ME REPAYING THE FOOD AND IT'S JUST THE BEGINNING!" A long-haired figure thinks "I DOUBT EVEN I WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO..." while others note "THREE RATHER TROUBLESOME CHARACTERS WERE PRESENT." "YES, THIS IS A RATHER PUBLIC FAILURE, BUT..." Holdem's lion head growls "GRRRR..." as a voice cries "LORD HOLDEM! KEEP IT TOGETHER! WAGH! ONLY THE LION'S CONSCIOUS!"

Tama calls out "BROTHER!" Luffy promises "I'LL MAKE THIS YOUR EVERY DAY!" and tells her "TAMA... DON'T LET JUST THIS SATISFY YA." In close-up, Luffy continues "WE'LL MAKE IT A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN EAT YOUR FILL EVERY DAY! BY THE TIME WE LEAVE THIS COUNTRY," while Tama eats. Later, a tearful Tama protests "N-NO! OF COURSE'N NOT! I'M SO HAPPY! JUST... SURPRISED." Luffy asks "HMI DO YOU NOT WANNAI" while a man in a hat smiles and repeats "WE'LL MAKE IT ONE WHERE YOU CAN EAT YOUR FILL EVERY DAY! THE NEXT TIME WE COME TO THIS COUNTRY," leaving Tama wide-eyed and speechless.

Brook points his sword and declares "TO THE RUINS OF ODEN CASTLE! ON THAT PEAK." Law snaps "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT FROM YOU!" while a blond man adds "RIGHT, THEN.
