The battle rages in a mountainous area near the Judicial Tower, Room: Wolf. Zoro and Sogeking face Kaku and Jyabura. Kaku has transformed into a towering giraffe hybrid, towering over the battlefield with his long neck and spotted pattern. Jyabura, in wolf-man form, sits laughing on rubble. Kaku shouts, "WHAT'S WRONG WITH A GIRAFFEI I TOLD YOU, I LIKE IT!!" Jyabura mocks, "HOW PITIFUL YOU ARE. YOU'LL BE A GIRAFFEMAN FOR LIFE...!!" and laughs "USHI USHI" NO MI, MODEL: "GIRAFFE." GYAAAAAHAHAHAHA." A small figure, likely Sogeking, stands with "..." nearby. In a lower panel, Sanji and a leopard-print fighter react: Sanji asks, "IS CP9 SUCH A GROUP...!I" while the other says, "I CAN'T BELIEVE THERE ARE TWO OTHER DF USERS WHO CAN TRANSFORM INTO ANIMALS...... Zoro mutters "NN..." as a massive black shape erupts with the sound "ドーン". The giraffe-masked fighter screams "SOMETHING'S COMING!!!" and "WHOA...!!!! WHAT!I" while the transformed giraffe charges, unleashing "RAN-KYAKU" and "AMANE-DACHI"!!! The enormous slash tears through the air with "WIDE SUNDER", sending debris flying. Below, Usopp yells "OO-WAAA-AH!!" as the impact hits, with sounds like "ズゴゴゴゴ!!!" and "ズドォォーン". The group discusses: "IF IT'S THE PAIR OF HANDCUFFS THAT MATCHES EITHER ONE OF OUR KEYS, THEN WE'LL TAKE IT OFF FOR YOU RIGHT AWAY. SO THAT WE'LL KNOW WHICH KEY GOES TO WHICH HANDCUFFS. EACH SET OF HANDCUFFS AND KEYS HAVE NUMBERS..." A figure points and cries, "NUMBER, NUMBER...!!! THERE!" In a close panel, the black-coated agent holds up a key while the masked one stares. "IT'S NUMBER 2!!! OPEN IT FOR ME!!!" The agent replies with a calm "..." as the key is examined.

The black-coated agent states, "NOT MINE, EITHER. HOW DISAPPOINTING." The masked agent echoes, "NOT MINE." They conclude, "THEN THERE'S NO OTHER WAY. THEN THAT MEANS ONE OF THE OTHER THREE CP9 MEMBERS HAS THE KEY...!I SHIT!" The spiky-haired fighter yells, "WHAT!I YOU GOT ME EXCITED FOR NOTHING!!" Tension rises as one declares, "GUESS THAT'S THE ONLY WAY... WHOEVER KILLS 'EM FIRST IS THE WINNER!!!" The two connected fighters lunge at each other with a massive "ドン" impact. The masked agent screams, "WOOOO OOOOO OOOOH!!!" while the spiky-haired one shouts, "CRAP, WE'VE GOTTA DO SOME- THING!!!" A huge roar erupts between them.

Inside the Judicial Tower, a man on the broken staircase yells, "NO DOUBT, SOMETHING HAPPENED BECAUSE OF THE BLAST EARLIER!! I WONDER IF THIS BUILDING'S GONNA BE OKA!" Another panics, "WHOA!! WHATI THIS STAIRCASE IS ALL DISJOINTED!! HAA HAA" A massive explosion rocks the area with "ギャアアアアアア" and "ズババババン" SFX. Zoro is spotted mid-air: "ZORO! SOGEKING!!" as he crashes down with "ギャアアアアアア" and impact lines. Below, the group reacts wildly: "LOOK FOR THE KEY FOR THE 'NUMBER 2' HANDCUFFS FOR US!!!" "IDIOT!!! LOOK AT THE DAMNED HAND-CUFFS!!!" "WHA-!I THAT LOOKS FUN!!" "H-HEY!!" "AH!! CHOPPER!!!" The masked agent and others scramble in panic with "ばっ!!" and "!I" effects.

A frantic discussion erupts among the group. One voice shouts, "EH!I IF THAT'S THE CASE..." Another declares, "I'LL JUST FIGHT THEM!!" A worried figure warns, "DON'T BE SILLY; YOU'D HAVE TWO OPPONENTS. IF YOU'RE DEFEATED..." The central character realizes, "HAA...!!! I SEE, THE KEYS AND HANDCUFFS HAVE NUMBERS!! NO. 2, NO. 2!" The bear-hatted pirate pleads, "PLEASE BRING IT HERE ASAP!!!" and "IF ONE OF THEM GOT A HOLD OF THE 'NO. 2' KEY, SANJI, NAMI, OR FRANKY!" while adding, "I'M COUNTING ON YOU!!!" The same pirate grins confidently, "PLEASE!! YOU'RE OUR ONLY HOPE!!" A cheerful reply comes, "HOPE!I I'M NOT HAPPY WITH IT!!" The bear-hatted one continues, "WE'LL BE STUCK IN THESE HANDCUFFS AND BE KILLED WITHOUT HAVING DONE ANYTHING!" In the next sequence, the bear-hatted pirate vows, "I'LL LOOK FOR SANJI!" and "I'LL DO MY BEST!! I'M THEIR 'HOPE'!!" while sniffing the air with "SNIFF SNIFF" and racing off amid motion lines. A final panel shows a close-up of the bear-hatted pirate thinking, "THE ONE MOST LIKELY TO HAVE GOTTEN A HOLD OF THE KEY... IS SANJI."

Luffy stares toward a massive tower rising from the sea. He mutters, "WHAT THE HECK IS THATI" and thinks, "FOR SOME REASON, I JUST THOUGHT THERE'D BE A BRIDGE OR SOMETHING." Giant swirling currents churn violently around the structure as Luffy exclaims, "GIANT SWIRLS!!!" From the dock he shouts, "CAN A REGULAR BOAT GET ME THERE!I" and "I CAN SEE THE GATES OF JUSTICE THOUGH!!" In a close-up, Luffy's face fills with determination, sweat and scars visible, as he declares, "I WONDER IF ROBIN'S THERE ALREADY!!" and "I DON'T HAVE TIME. I'LL JUST HAVE TO TRY SOMETHING!!!"

Nami screams in pain, "KYAAAH!" as Kumadori strikes her with a staff, sending her flying. Kumadori taunts, "YOYOI!! GI-VE UP A~LREADY!!!" and "I~~~ GO~~~T AHO~~~LD OF YOU~~~~!!!" while Nami cries, "UGH...!! LET GO...!!" Kumadori continues his assault with "DIE!!!" Franky clashes with Fukurou in a fierce exchange. Fukurou activates "TEKKAI." and yells "BOXING" while Franky counters with "FRAN-KYYYY" and lands heavy blows.
