SPIN, PINWHEEL!

Night fell upon the island once more, and the waves were as quiet as always. A serene beach scene shows palm trees, a crescent moon, and calm water under starlight, with a narration box stating this. Music notes and laughter drift across the water. However, the thunderous festivities did not subside this night nor the next. Villagers and pirates dance wildly on the shore with instruments, including an accordion, as confetti flies. They had endured everything in order to laugh again. In the foreground, Usopp grins broadly while Luffy shouts with mouth wide open, bone in mouth, as the party rages on.

At the feast, Sanji sits cross-legged holding a large piece of meat. Someone asks, “WHAT’S WITH ALL THAT MEAT YOU’RE HOLDING ONTOI” Sanji replies, “HEY, SANJI! WAS THERE SOMETHING ON THAT LAST MELON YOU ATE JUST NOW…!I” Luffy, cheeks puffed with a bone, exclaims, “AHH… I SURE ATE A LOT. FEELS NICE TO STUFF YOURSELF EVERY NOW AND THEN.” and “AHH!” with sound effect “ガギーン!!”. Nearby, Sanji wonders about the food source while Zoro questions the melon. Usopp stands dramatically on a rooftop declaring, “IT IS I, CAPTAIN USOPP!” and “IT’S TIME TO FLIRT WITH THE LADIES!” as women cheer and a man sleeps with “zzzz…”. The crowd chants and requests autographs amid the celebration.

On a hilltop grave marked by a cross, a voice says, “YOUR DAUGHTERS HAVE GROWN UP TO BE FINE, STRONG WOMEN…” and “BELLE-MERE…”. A Marine captain pours sake onto the grave marker, thinking, “WHEN I LOOK AT YOUR DAUGHTERS… IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE I’M SEEING YOU AGAIN.” In a close-up, the scarred man with a stitched face and Marine hat declares, “TO LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST. FROM NOW ON, ALL OF US WILL DO OUR BEST,” with a determined grin.

A tall man in a bandana and dark vest stands before Luffy, who is tied to a wooden post. The man speaks solemnly: "WE HAVE TO LIVE OUR LIVES TO THE FULLEST FOR THEIR SAKE. WE HAVE TO LAUGH AND SMILE UNTIL OUR VERY CHEEKS HURT...! BECAUSE OUR FREEDOM CAME AT THE COST OF SO MANY LIVES." Luffy listens intently. In the next sequence, Luffy suddenly shouts "JUST WAIT RIGHT THERE!" while a man in a Marine-style hat reacts with surprise, muttering "OH WELL, I'LL HEAD BACK. THERE'S NO FOOD HERE... DARN IT. HUHI" Luffy's face fills the panel as he yells "RAW HAM MELON!" with sweat flying. The scene shifts to a windswept hill with two crosses marking a grave. Luffy, now wearing his straw hat, stares and asks, "A GRAVEI DID SOMEBODY DIEI" The bandana-wearing man replies quietly, "YES... BUT IT WAS LONG AGO."

Continuing at the grave, Luffy and the bandana man discuss Nami. Luffy says, "RIGHT, THAT. THE WORD IS 'CONDO-LENCES.'" The man corrects him through several confused bubbles: "CONDITIONS...I CON... CONDIMENTSI" Luffy then states, "HEY, KID. NAMI SAID SHE'LL JOIN YOUR CREW AND BECOME A PIRATE... IT'LL BE A DANGEROUS JOURNEY. WELL, HE OR SHE HAS MY DEEPEST C... I SEE, HMI" The man grows stern, warning, "...SO IF YOU EVER DO SOMETHING TO STEAL HER SMILE AWAY, I'LL PERSONALLY COME AND KILL YOU!" Luffy, looking shocked with a bone in his mouth, sweats heavily and replies, "...UNDERSTOOD." The man stands firm in the background as Luffy accepts the threat.

In a separate scene, a young girl with a headband sits on steps beside a heavily tattooed woman. The girl says, "THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT AT FIRST TOO. I THOUGHT YOU'D BE ALL, 'OH WHY DID MY DAD HAVE TO DIE BEFORE THIS DAY,' OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT. YOU'RE NOT SULKING AT ALL." The tattooed woman replies, "WHAT ISI HOW BORING." The girl pinches the woman's arm, yelling "WHAT THE HELL! OWW OWW OWWW! WHY'RE YOU PINCHING ME!I" The woman retorts, "HOW CHEEKY." Later, the tattooed woman sits alone, thinking, "THAT NOTHING GOOD WOULD COME FROM SUCH THOUGHTS. BUT THEN I REALIZED..." She smiles and tells the girl, "JUST 'TATTOOED LADY' IS FINE." The girl laughs, "AHAHAHAHA! YOU'VE ALREADY PICKED ON ME ENOUGH!" while the woman protests, "OWWW! YOU VIOLENT TATTOOED LADY! HERE I WAS, WAITING FOR A CHANCE TO PICK ON YOU SOME MORE..."

In a tattoo parlor, a man operates a buzzing machine on a person's back as Nami lies face-down on the table. The artist says, "THAT'S JUST HOW TATTOOS ARE. I'M AFRAID ERASING IT COMPLETELY WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE, SINCE IT'LL LEAVE A BIT OF A SCAR." Outside, wind chimes tinkle as Nami stands with the artist, replying, "ERASE ITI THAT'S RIGHT... TATTOOS AREN'T SOMETHING YOU CAN JUST ERASE..." In a hallway, Nami kneels and cries out, "I'M NOT EVEN ONE OF THEM... BUT THANKS TO THIS, I'VE BEEN BRANDED AS ONE...! I DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO SEE THIS TATTOO!" A close-up shows her tearful eye, followed by a final panel of her looking up with a determined yet sorrowful expression as someone calls, "NAMI..."

Nami touches her left shoulder and insists, "IT'S ONLY A TATTOO. IT'S JUST ANOTHER DECORATION." Nojiko stares in shock and cries out, "NOJIKO! WHAT HAPPENED!I YOU HAVE A TATTOO!" Nami replies calmly, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHATI" In a later moment Nami smiles and affirms, "YEAH..." Nojiko bursts into laughter, "HAHA HAHA!" and declares, "I'M THE SAME AS YOU NOW, NAMI!" The scene shifts to a doctor's office where Nami lies on the table and tells the bespectacled physician, "HEY, DOC... THERE'S SOMETHING I'D LIKE YOU TO TATTOO FOR ME... THIS." The doctor reacts with surprise, "HMI"

In Cocoyasi Village a wild celebration erupts. Usopp leaps with arms raised, shouting, "FOR MY 6TH NUMBER, I'LL SING THE 'USOPP CHEER SONG'!" while villagers dance and laugh, "AHAHA HAHA! THESE TWO SURE KNOW HOW TO DANCE!" and "GYAH HAHA!" Large onomatopoeia "わははは" and "はははは" fill the air. A wide banner reads "THE DAY OF THE DEPARTURE." The Going Merry sits docked at the shore as a crowd gathers beneath palm trees, with sound effects "わいわい" and "がやがや" capturing the lively chatter.

Two bounty hunters bow and say their farewells: "THOUGH WE MUST SAY GOOD-BYE, MAY WE MEET ONCE AGAIN SOMEPLACE ELSE IN THE FUTURE. WE MUST NOW RETURN BACK TO OUR JOB AS BOUNTY HUNTERS. SO THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP UNTIL NOW." A crewmate answers, "THE SAME TO YOU, MY BROTHERS. I SEE THEN. TAKE CARE." On the dock Luffy points and yells, "HEY! THAT RAW HAM MELON YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT WASN'T ANYWHERE!" Zoro asks, "WHAT!I IS NAMI REALLY NOT COMING!I" Usopp wonders, "MAYBE SHE'S NOT COMINGI" while another crew member demands, "WHERE IS SHE ANYWAYSI" The group discusses anxiously: "SHE SAID IT'S FINE," "BUT SHE RISKED HER LIFE TO SAVE UP THAT MUCH...," "SHE'S NOT TAKING ANY OF HER MONEY WITH HERI" and "SHE'S LEAVING ALL HER MONEY BEHIND!I ALL 100 MILLION BELIS!I"

The Marine captain growls, "IT'S US WHO SHOULD BE TRYING TO MAKE THINGS UP TO HER AFTER ALL SHE DID... THAT FOOL..." Nojiko, hand to her head, replies, "BUT SHE WOULDN'T HEAR OF IT. YOU KNOW HOW SHE IS. I TOLD HER A LITTLE BIT AT LEAST." Suddenly a loud voice bellows "SET SAIL!" as the crew reacts with shock. Luffy and Usopp turn in alarm; someone shouts "NACCCHAN!" Nami sprints at full speed, hair flying, with motion lines and impact sounds "ずっ" "ダッ" while the crew yells, "SHE SAID SET SAIL SO... I GUESS WE SHOULD SET SAIL," "SHE'S RUNNING OVER HERE! WHAT DOI" and "!!I"

The Going Merry raises its sail bearing the Straw Hat Jolly Roger as the ship pulls away from the dock. Villagers watch in shock. "Without letting us say even a word of thanks or goodbye...!I" one exclaims. "Don't tell me... she's planning to leave," another mutters. Nami stands on the deck, hair whipping in the wind. From the shore, voices cry out desperately: "At least let us thank you for all you've done! Nami, stop!" "Nami, wait! I can't allow you to leave this way!" Genzo shouts, face twisted in anguish. The ship gains speed with a loud "ドドドド". "Set sail!" someone orders. "Ahh! They're taking off! But we needed you to thank us pirates t..." the crowd yells as the Merry sails into the distance.

On the deck of the Going Merry, the crew scrambles in confusion amid swirling "ズル ズル ズル" motion lines. Luffy and Zoro stand watching as Nami's silhouette runs ahead. "It's her goodbye so let's let her decide," Luffy says calmly. "You sure it's okay to let her leave like thisI" Zoro replies. The ship pulls away from the wooden pier with a sharp "たんっ...!" as villagers on the dock shout "NACCHAN!" Nami's foot lands with a heavy "スタン!!" on the planks. The angry crowd surges forward, fists raised. "WHY...!!!" they roar in unison, faces contorted with betrayal and rage.

The Going Merry sails farther out to sea as the crowd on shore reaches desperately toward it. "WHA!I" they cry in shock. On the ship, chaos erupts: "MINE AS WELL! SAME HERE! ME TOO! MINE TOO! WHA!I MY WALLET'S GONE!" the crew shouts while frantically checking their pockets. "あぁぁぁぁぁぁ" wails fill the air. Nami stands on the railing, back turned, as "ドドドド" sound effects pulse around her. She glances over her shoulder with a sly grin, holding up a bulging wallet. "TAKE CARE, EVERYONE!" she calls with a heart symbol, leaving the stunned crew behind.

A furious roar erupts from the dock: "YOU ROTTEN LITTLE THIEF!" as the entire village raises fists in outrage. On the ship, the crew reacts in disbelief. Luffy laughs heartily "DAHAHAHA!" while Nami smirks and sticks out her tongue. "NAMI, GOOD JOB!" she jokes to herself. "Is she going to betray us againI" Sanji growls. "She still hasn't changed a bit," Zoro mutters coldly. Nami dashes across the deck clutching wallets as the crew chases her. "YOU LITTLE BRAT!" "GIVE MY WALLET BACK!" "GIVE IT BACK!" "YOU THIEVING CAT!" they yell while "れぁぁぁぁぁ" sound effects and impact lines fill the scene. Nami escapes with a mischievous "HEH HEH."

Nami smiles warmly in close-up and says, "I'M OFF, BELLEMERE." Villagers on the balcony wave and call out, "WE HAVE SO MUCH TO THANK YOU ALL FOR!" "COME BACK ANYTIME YOU WANT, YOU HEAR!" "BE SURE TO STAY SAFE!" A large striped flag flutters above them. Genzo, in his Marine-style cap, gives a thumbs-up and reminds her, "HEY, KID! DON'T FORGET ABOUT OUR PROMISE!" In a massive close-up, Nami bursts into joyful laughter with eyes squeezed shut, shouting, "I'LL BE OFF NOW!" and "GOOD BYE, EVERYONE!" as bold impact lettering erupts around her face.

On the beach, the group relaxes as someone remarks, "SHE SURE GOT US GOOD!" Nojiko sits with a towel, while Genzo and the doctor examine items. The doctor asks, "HMI WHAT'S THIS, DOCI" Genzo replies, "HEY, GENZO..." Nojiko smiles and says, "I SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER FROM MY OWN SISTER." They hold up a card marked with a large "§" symbol and another item. Genzo notes, "SHE SAID IT'S AN 'ORANGE,'" and "SHE GOT HERSELF ANOTHER TATTOO." The doctor wonders, "AND A 'PINWHEEL.'" "WHAT IS ITI" Nami laughs, "HAHA... I DIDN'T NEED IT ANYMORE." Genzo asks, "HUHI WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR PINWHEEL, GENI"

Genzo protests while holding the pinwheel, "BUT YOUR FACE IS SO SCARY YOU'RE MAKING HER CRY!" Nami teases, "B-B-BUT EVEN I WANT TO SEE A BABY'S CUTE SMILE." Genzo yells, "WELL, IT'S NOT LIKE I CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT THAT..." and "GEN! STAY AWAY FROM MY NAMI!" as a child wails in the background. Nami laughs wildly, "KYAHAHAHA!" Genzo places the pinwheel on his head and asks, "I DON'T KNOW, GEN. EVEN IF YOU PUT A PINWHEEL..." "ALL I HAVE TO DO IS PUT THIS ON MY HEAD FROM NOW ON!" "HOW ABOUT THIS!I WITH THIS, I'M SURE SHE'LL SMILE!" He grins and questions, "WELLI CAN YOU SMILE FOR ME, NAMII" The scene shifts to a sunny beach where a pinwheel spins atop a wooden cross. Narration reads, "AH, SHE LAUGHED...!" and "THE SKIES ARE CLEAR AND THE WINDS MILD." A scroll notes, "PERFECT WEATHER FOR A PINWHEEL TO SPIN."
