Adventure on Little Garden

Nami stands with arms crossed, explaining, “THE 7 MAGNETIC FIELDS THAT STRETCH FROM REVERSE MOUNTAIN CLASH TOGETHER TO MAKE THINGS EVEN MORE UNPREDICTABLE.” She continues, “WELL, IT'S NOT LIKE IT NEVER SNOWS OR ANYTHING, BUT THAT PART OF GRAND LINE UP TO THE VERY FIRST ISLAND IS SPECIAL.” The Going Merry sails across open sea as narration notes, “GRAND LINE IS STILL BY FAR THE MOST DIFFICULT OCEAN TO NAVIGATE ON. SO IT'S ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE THAT YOU NEVER UNDERESTIMATE THIS SEA! SO YOU CAN'T LET DOWN YOUR GUARD EVEN FOR A MINUTE, EVEN THOUGH IT WOULD BE QUITE RARE TO ENCOUNTER SUCH BIZARRE CONDITIONS ONCE YOU'VE PASSED THE FIRST ISLAND.” On deck, Vivi sweats nervously while Luffy, Usopp, Sanji and Chopper celebrate with raised glasses; someone shouts “YOU BET WE ARE!” and “ANYBODY UP FOR SOME SPECIAL DRINKS!I” Large letters proclaim “リラックス!!” as the crew relaxes.

Nami points at Vivi and warns, “THEY'LL WORK HARD WHEN WE COME ACROSS ROUGH SEAS. IT'S NOT LIKE THEY WANT TO DIE OR ANYTHING. HERE. ARE YOU SURE YOU'LL BE FINE LIKE THIS!I” Vivi replies, “I'LL BE FINE.” At the table Usopp asks, “FISHING, EHI NOT A BAD IDEA.” Sanji offers, “HEY, USOPP, CAN YOU MAKE US SOME FISHING RODSI” while holding up a drink. Chopper exclaims “TASTES GOOD, RIGHTI DRINK UP, QUICK!” and “OH, LOOKS LIKE THIS DUCK KNOWS HOW TO DRINK!” Usopp adds, “BUT AT THIS RATE… WE MIGHT BE CAUGHT UNAWARE. THAT'S… TRUE…” Vivi watches quietly from the side, thinking. In close-up she smiles softly with a straw in her mouth and says, “SURE MAKES YOU LOSE THE WILL TO EVEN WORRY, DOESN'T ITI BEING ON THIS SHIP,”

Nami stands on deck holding a glass, remarking, “IT IS QUITE RELAXING…” and “YES…” while small birds fly past. In the background someone laughs “キャハハハハ”. Sanji sits holding Chopper up, exclaiming “OH, IT'S SO CU…” and “HEY, LOOK! IT'S A DOLPHIN!” as a dolphin leaps from the water with sparkling effects and sound effects “キラキラ” and “ピョロン”. Luffy watches from the railing. The crew enjoys the calm sea and unexpected visitor.

A colossal whale-like creature erupts from the sea with jaws wide open, towering over the tiny Going Merry. Someone yells in panic, "IT'S FREAKIN' HUGE!" The crew scrambles on deck as Luffy points forward and shouts, "LET'S RUN AWAY!" Sanji snaps to attention with "AYE-AYE, CAP'N!" while Usopp and others flail in terror amid impact SFX "ばっ!!" and "ばっ!!!" Luffy's face twists in fear as the ship rocks violently beneath them.

A figure in a bubble helmet sweats nervously as massive SFX "どくん!!" and "くん!!" explode around them. The crew spots land ahead; a voice declares, "THAT ISLAND!" Another continues, "THERE'S NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. OUR NEXT DESTINATION IS..." The Going Merry sails toward a vast island ringed by jagged mountains. Luffy cheers wildly, "WOHOO!" as narration proclaims, "OUR SECOND ISLAND ON GRAND LINE!"

On deck, Sanji smokes and says, "BUT WE GOTTA STOCK UP ON SOME FOOD PRETTY SOON. I WASN'T ABLE TO RESTOCK AT ALL AT THE LAST TOWN." Zoro replies, "BEATS ME." Usopp stammers, "Y-Y-YOU DON'T THINK THERE ARE MONSTERS HERE, DO YOUI" Nami adds, "I'M WORRIED ABOUT WHAT MS. ALL-SUNDAY SAID ABOUT THIS ISLAND. WE SHOULD BE CAREFUL..." The ship glides into a narrow river flanked by dense jungle. Crew members react: "I CAN'T SAY I SEE ANYTHING THAT WOULD DESERVE SUCH A CUTE NAME LIKE THAT THOUGH...", "BUT MAN, JUST LOOK AT THIS PLACE...", "IT'S LIKE A LAND YET TO BE EXPLORED BY PEOPLE. THE ENTIRE ISLAND IS A THICK JUNGLE.", "JUST WHAT ABOUT THIS ISLAND IS LITTLEI", and "SO THIS IS LITTLE GARDEN...!"

Strange birds shriek "KYAAA!" and "GYAAAA! GYAAAA!" as the crew reacts on deck. Usopp points excitedly, "AND LOOK! I'VE NEVER SEEN ANY PLANTS LIKE THESE EVEN IN MY ENCYCLO-PEDIA!" Sanji smirks, "AND EVEN THIS ISLAND, IS NOTHING BUT YOUR AVERAGE JUNGLE!" and reassures, "DON'T WORRY, IT'S JUST A NORMAL BIRD." Nami trembles while a heart-fluttering caption reads, "TERRIFIED NAMI IS SOOO CUTE! ♥" Someone asks, "WHAT WAS THAT JUST NOW!I" A massive winged reptilian creature suddenly dives with SFX "バキ!!" and "グアア!", prompting Luffy to stare in shock: "A LIZARD...I"

A massive explosion rocks the area with a thunderous "ドカン!!" Luffy, Nami, and Usopp stare in shock from the ship's railing as "!!I" and "ビビ" reaction bubbles pop around them. Below, Sanji calmly smokes while Nami panics, shouting, "DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOUR AVERAGE JUNGLE!I" and "THAT SOUNDED LIKE A VOLCANO EXPLODING OR SOMETHING!" The crew spots a massive tiger mauling something in the foliage with "ギャオオオ...!!" and "!!I" effects, while a dinosaur looms nearby growling "ギャオオ...!!" and "GRRRR..." A small boat labeled "A TIGER!I" sits abandoned in the grass.

Nami insists they stay aboard, saying, "AND LEAVE THE VERY SECOND OUR LOG POSE FINISHES RECORDING! AFTER ALL, WE HAVE TO HURRY ON TO ALABASTA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE." Sanji agrees to wait quietly. The crew debates the tiger and jungle dangers, with someone noting, "OTHERWISE, WHY WOULD A TIGER, KING OF THE JUNGLE, COLLAPSE COVERED IN ITS OWN BLOOD!I THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL!" Sanji then requests, "SANJI! PREPARE A LUNCHBOX," and a note clarifies, "A pirate lunchbox has no vegetables for maximum energy." Luffy suddenly bursts forward with a huge close-up, yelling, "I SMELL ADVENTURE AHEAD!"

Luffy dashes off excitedly, declaring, "ON AN ADVENTURE!" while Nami yells, "W-WAIT JUST A SECOND! WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOINGI" Sanji prepares a lunchbox as requested. Vivi worries about the log pose but agrees to join after Luffy invites her with "SHISHISHI! WANNA COME ALONGI" She replies, "SURE, SURE!" and "COULD I COME ALONG WITH YOU!I" Carue the duck offers to guard the ship, quacking nervously as Luffy's face stretches in excitement with "ルフィ!!" sound effects. Nami and Vivi discuss making another lunchbox for Carue.

Luffy leaps from the ship into the jungle with a massive "ドン!!" and "く!!" impact, shouting, "ALRIGHT, LET'S GO!" while Carue calls out, "WE'LL BE BACK!" On the ground, Zoro reacts with surprise as Usopp yells, "YO ZORO, WAIT!" A voice asks, "A WALK!I" Zoro replies he will go for a walk. On the deck of the Going Merry at the edge of a lush jungle, Sanji and Zoro clash over who is the better hunter. Sanji snaps, "WAIT RIGHT THERE! I'LL GO HUNT FOR SOME ANIMALS THAT YOU'D NEVER BE ABLE TO KILL YOURSELF." Zoro replies coolly, "SURE." From the ship railing Sanji adds, "WE'RE RUNNING OUT OF FOOD ONBOARD SO IF YOU SEE ANY ANIMALS THAT LOOK TO BE EDIBLE, CAN YOU HUNT IT DOWN AND BRING IT BACKI" Zoro growls, "OR DID YOU JUST IMPLY THAT YOU COULD HUNT A BIGGER GAME THAN I CAN...I DID I HEAR YOU WRONG," while Sanji retorts with a smirk, "HUHI" The argument explodes as Zoro roars, "THAT'S IT! I CHALLENGE YOU AT HUNTING!" Sanji answers without hesitation, "ISN'T THAT OBVIOUSI" Large impact SFX and motion lines emphasize their rising tempers.

Nami watches the two men with weary exasperation while Usopp stands in the jungle background. She mutters, "I KNOW EXACTLY HOW YOU FEEL, NAMI. DON'T WORRY, AT LEAST I'M BY YOUR SIDE..." as Sanji declares, "THOUGH IN MY CASE, IT'LL BE TONNES OF MEAT." Zoro accepts, "FINE BY ME." Usopp shouts excitedly, "WHOEVER BRINGS BACK THE MOST KILOGRAMS OF MEAT WILL BE THE WINNER!" Nami sighs, "WHY DOES EVERYONE ON THIS SHIP HAVE TO BE LIKE THAT..." The ship suddenly lurches forward with a loud "ポッポーン!!" sound effect as it pushes through the river. Someone aboard yelps "AH." Below deck, Sanji and Usopp argue again: "THAT'S MY LINE!" and "WHY CAN'T YOU BE A LITTLE MORE DEPENDABLEI"

The crew discusses their destination. Nami says, "OF LITTLE GARDEN." Luffy wonders, "HEARD OF WHATI" Usopp replies, "I'M SURE I'VE HEARD OF IT..." Nami adds thoughtfully, "I FEEL LIKE I'VE READ THIS IN A BOOK BEFORE..." while examining a strange creature. Luffy exclaims, "AN AMMONITE IF YOU ASK ME..." Usopp identifies it as "A CLAM-SQUID!" Nami echoes, "A CLAM-SQUID, RIGHTI" and "THIS LOOKS LIKE... THERE'S A CLAM THAT LOOKS LIKE A SQUID!" Luffy shouts, "HEY, CHECK THIS OUT! A CLAM-SQUID!" In a separate scene Luffy frantically searches a bookshelf, panicking, "SHOOT, I CAN'T REMEMBER! WHERE'D I PUT IT... I KNOW I READ IT PRETTY RECENTLY..." while Nami looks on.

A massive long-necked dinosaur suddenly towers over the jungle canopy, its head breaking through the treetops amid huge impact SFX. Someone yells in shock, "WHY'S THERE A SEA KING ON LANDI" The creature looms above the crew. Luffy stares up with wide eyes and screams, "A DINO-SAUR!I" Nami, equally terrified, cries out beside him, "IT'S A DINO-SAUR!" The dinosaur's enormous body and the crew's panicked expressions fill the page as the jungle shakes from its appearance.

Nami stares intently as narration explains the rarity of foreign interaction on the Grand Line due to navigation difficulties between islands. She reacts with surprise at the sight of dinosaurs still roaming. "THIS ISLAND'S STILL STUCK IN THE AGE OF DINOSAURS!" "HUHI" "THAT MEANS... THIS IS A PREHISTORIC ISLAND!" Further narration details how islands can remain frozen in time for thousands of years because of the Grand Line's chaotic climate. Usopp excitedly calls out "USOPP! USOPP!" while examining an old book. "WHAT, DID YOU FIND THE BOOKI" "AWESOME!" A massive dinosaur head bursts upward with the warning "DON'T RIDE ON IT!" Nami concludes in awe, "AND SO... THIS ISLAND IS ONE SUCH PRODUCT OF GRAND LINE'S CHAOS... IT'S AN ISLAND TRAPPED BACK IN THE AGE OF DINOSAURS!"

Nami's face twists in shock with wide eyes and an open mouth. The Going Merry approaches a massive, dark cave entrance overgrown with dense jungle foliage and palm trees. A large ominous shadow looms inside as the ship nears the dock. "WE'RE IN TROUBLE! ON THIS ISLAND..." "CRACK..." Massive stylized sound effects echo through the trees. Terrified screams erupt: "GYA AAA AAA AAA!" and "AHHHHHHHH!" An old explorer's log is shown: "AN ISLAND OF GIANTS, 'LITTLE GARDEN,' THAT IS WHAT I HAVE DECIDED TO NAME THIS ISLAND. -EXPLORER LOUIS ARNOTE-" A second scroll adds, "TO ITS INHABITANTS, THIS ISLAND IS LIKE A LITTLE GARDEN."
