Jinbe vs. Who's-Who

Inside the castle, chaos erupts as Gifters with animal powers clash. A voice declares, '...WITH GIFTER POWERS HAVE SWITCHED SIDES!!' Another announces, 'A TOTAL OF 300 HEADLINERS...' Someone shouts 'YEAH!!' A sign labels the area 'CASTLE INTERIOR'. The narration states 'THE CHAOS CONTINUES TO UNFOLD!!' Below, a scene shows a little girl giving orders from above the stage on the live floor. Text reads 'SOMEHOW, SHE WAS ABLE TO SWAY THEM!!' and 'A LITTLE GIRL GAVE THEM ORDERS...' In the lower panels, Beast Pirates panic: 'THIS IS BAD! THEY'RE TARGETING TAMA!!' 'THINK WE CAN STOP IT BY KILLING HERI!' 'SHE MUST HAVE SOME KIND OF WEIRD POWER!!' 'WAH!!' 'IT WAS THAT BRAT!!' Smoke, debris, and impact lines fill the frantic battle.

The fight intensifies. A masked fighter yells 'DAIFUGO-SAMA!I' as an opponent is struck with 'SCORPION DEATH NEEDLE!!' and screams 'GYAH!!' Nearby, a blonde woman shouts 'HOR-SELLA!!' while another calls 'HOP ON!!' A masked figure gives a thumbs-up as a girl cries 'OH! DAIFUGO-KUN!!' In the next spread, a woman with a long ponytail reassures, 'YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY THOUGH, LEAVE HIM TO US!!' A voice reports 'I FOUND KOMACHIYO COLLAPSED BACK THERE.' Another asks 'EVERYTHING WENT JUST AS PLANNED, RIGHT, MASTERI!' A small figure pleads 'LET ME ON TOO!!' while a girl with pigtails exclaims 'REALLY!I THANKS A BUNCH!!' Nami appears embracing the girl amid the action.

Nami reacts with shock as Usopp, bandaged and riding Komachiyo with Tama, asks 'ARE YOU SERIOUS!I NO WAY!' A thought bubble shows a happy face. Nami questions 'WHATI!' while Usopp continues 'SO, NAMI, CAN I BE YOUR SERVANT AGAINI' A panel shows 'NO KIDDING... ENEMIES ONE MOMENT, FRIENDS THE NEXT...' and 'HER ABILITY REALLY IS AMAZING...' Usopp yells 'GYAH!! OUT OF THE WAY! NAMI'S PARTNER COMING THROUGH!!' Nami's face appears with hearts, saying 'NAMI♡♡' and 'HOW DOES THAT SOUNDI!' She smiles, 'WE CAN BE PARTNERS INSTEAD.' Below, the larger battle rages with cries of 'THAT MAKES TWO THOUSAND ADDITIONAL TRAITORS!!' 'SOME SUBORDINATES ARE FOLLOWING THE HEADLINERS' LEAD!!' 'ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND!I' 'HELP THE SAMURAI BRING DOWN KAIDO!!' and ongoing screams amid the melee.

Inside a dimly lit room, two figures sit across a Go board. The man in the top hat speaks first: "THE NUMBER OF BEAST PIRATE TROOPS HAD ALREADY DWINDLED FROM 30,000 TO 20,000... AN ADDITIONAL TWO THOUSAND CASUALTIES! THEIR RAMPAGE HAS ALSO COST US..." The masked round-headed figure replies while placing a stone: "COULD RESULT IN WHITE'S CONTINUED SUCCESS. THE GIFTERS' HELP... IT'S CURRENTLY 16,000 VS. 9,000!!" The top-hatted man slides another piece and says, "IF YOU ACCOUNT FOR THESE NEW DEFECTIONS AND CASUALTIES... THEN THAT MEANS..." In the lower panels the top-hatted man continues, "HAVE WE VERIFIED HIS IDENTITYI EVEN IF IT IS HIM, ANY CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION HE HAS SHOULD BE DATED BY NOW ANYWAY. HIS SURVIVAL WOULDN'T HARM THE GOVERNMENT." The masked figure answers, "WE JUST NEED TO CONFIRM HIS DEATH... THE VICTOR OF THIS IS OF NO CONSEQUENCE TO US."

The top-hatted man asks, "WELL, WHO'S TO SAY HE'LL EVEN SURVIVE THE NIGHTI HE'S FACING JINBE AFTER ALL..." The masked figure retorts, "ALLOWING A ROGUE ESCAPEE TO LIVE... WOULD SET A BAD PRECEDENT." The scene shifts to the chaotic Fourth Floor of Onigashima where Beast Pirates flee in panic. "WHO'S WHO-SAMA IS GETTING SERIOUS!! WE GOTTA GET OUTTA HERE!!" Who's-Who lunges forward with a powerful kick, shouting "MOON-WALK!!" as he sends Jinbe flying through debris and smoke.

Who's-Who, now in his full beast form with horns and wild hair, roars "RED-HAIRED SHANKS!! MY REAL ISSUE IS WITH THE ONE WHO STOLE THE GOMU GOMU FRUIT." Panting, he adds, "YOU HOLD A GRUDGE AGAINST LUFFYI SO, THAT MEANS..." He charges with "FANG PISTOL!!" while declaring, "AND HE'S THE ONE WHO GAINED THE POWER OF THE FRUIT!! IT'S ONLY NATURAL FOR MY RESENTMENT TO SPREAD TO HIM!! LUFFY WEARS THE SAME STRAW HAT." Massive impacts and debris fly as the two clash violently.

The fight rages across the Fourth Floor. Who's-Who yells, "MY ARM!! SOMETHING'S COLLAPSING THE CEILING!! ISN'T THIS... WHO'S WHO-SAMA'S FANG PISTOLI!" as the ceiling caves in. Jinbe dodges and counters. Who's-Who taunts, "EVEN YOUR ARMAMENT HAKI WOULDN'T BE ENOUGH! HAHAHA, DODGING WAS A WISE MOVE!!" Jinbe lands a powerful strike. Who's-Who snarls, "I'M NOT SURE WHAT TO SAY TO THAT. I DIDN'T THINK A SLIMY FISHMAN COULD MOVE THAT FAST ON DRY LAND. IF YOU HAD TRIED TO BLOCK IT, YOU'D HAVE BEEN EATEN ALIVE!! IT'S GENERALLY NO LONGER ACCEPTABLE TO EXPRESS SUCH DISCRIMINATORY VIEWS ON FISHMEN... JINBE!!"

Who's-Who looms in his massive hybrid beast form, laughing as he declares, "HAHAHA, MY BAD!" A voice from below notes, "THAT REMINDS ME, THERE'S SOMETHING ELSE I WANT TO ASK ABOUT.....!" as the label "IRON BODY!" appears. Jinbe launches forward with a powerful strike, sending shockwaves through the air. Who's-Who counters with a massive clawed hand, eyes wide in surprise. In the next instant, Who's-Who charges with his feline lower body, horns and claws bared, unleashing the named attack "FANG CAVALRY FLASH!!" The impact erupts in a massive explosion of smoke, debris, and motion lines as the two clash violently.

The clash sends Who's-Who flying backward through the air amid a storm of rocks and impact effects. Jinbe presses the assault underwater, twisting with "FISHMAN JUJUTSU..." as he grabs the beast pirate. In a spinning throw, Jinbe executes "EBB TIDE SHOULDER THROW!!" Who's-Who is hurled violently into the ground, crying out "UGH!!" while debris and water erupt around them.

Jinbe fires a barrage of "WATER BULLETS!!" that pummel Who's-Who. The beast pirate activates "SHAVE!!" vanishing in a burst of speed and reappearing with motion lines trailing. Breathing heavily, Who's-Who clutches his chest and growls, "DAMN, THAT HURTS!!" while Jinbe, catching his breath, recalls, "I HEARD A STORY... HUFF...HUFF... BACK WHEN I WAS IN PRISON... ABOUT THAT THING I WANTED TO ASK YOU... I WAS MOCKINGLY TOLD TO PRAY TO A CERTAIN SOMEONE FOR SALVATION!!"

Who's-Who continues his tale with a silhouette of the legendary figure: "THEY CALLED HIM 'SUN GOD' NIKA!!" and explains, "APPARENTLY, SLAVES IN ANCIENT TIMES BELIEVED... IN A LEGENDARY WARRIOR THAT WOULD EVENTUALLY COME AND SAVE THEM!" He recounts his own suffering: "MY CRUEL SENTENCE WAS DRAGGING ON FOR WHAT FELT LIKE FOREVER... I DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THE DETAILS, I JUST WANTED TO BE SAVED!! SO I CLUNG ON TO THE LEGEND!!" as the fight rages on with fierce exchanges and impact effects.

Who's-Who snarls at Jinbe, "I HEARD THE CREW WAS MADE UP OF FORMER SLAVES!! BESIDES, ISN'T THE HISTORY OF FISHMEN A HISTORY OF SLAVERYI!" Jinbe clenches his fist with a loud CLENCH!! and retorts, "YOU LED THE 'SUN' PIRATES... WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH MEI!" Who's-Who lunges forward with a powerful Finger Pistol strike. Jinbe dodges and counters with a devastating blow, sending Who's-Who flying as the masked fighter yells "URGH!!" Impact lines and debris explode around them. Who's-Who recovers mid-air, spots appearing across his body as he roars "SPOTS!!" and charges again with a fierce "RAAAR RGHH!!"

Spectators shout "YEAH!! CRUSH HIM, WHO'S WHO-SAMA!! TAKE HIM DOWN!!" as the Flying Six clash violently. Who's-Who presses the attack while revealing, "AND HEARING THAT PUT ME IN DANGER TOO, SO I RISKED MY LIFE TO BREAK OUT!! I FIGURED THAT MAYBE THE STORY WASN'T MEANT TO BE SHARED... VANISHED A FEW DAYS LATER, WITHOUT A TRACE!! THE GUARD WHO TOLD ME ABOUT NIKA..." Jinbe counters fiercely. Who's-Who is struck hard, crying "GYAH!!" as the fight intensifies with rapid strikes and motion lines.

Jinbe declares, "I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY TO YOU!!" and grabs Who's-Who with Shark Grip, slamming him down amid explosive impacts. Who's-Who twists free and unleashes Fishman Karate techniques. The masked fighter snarls "WHO'S WHO-SAMAI!" and fires another Fang Pistol, shouting "TAKE THIS!! I'M GONNA GOUGE YOU IN HALF!!" Jinbe endures the barrage as debris and shockwaves fill the battlefield.

Jinbe delivers a massive Gargoyle Tile Fist, roaring as the ultimate technique lands with a heavy blow. Who's-Who is sent flying, yelling "WHA...I!" and "DAMMIT!! WHY'RE YOU SO MAD ALL OF A SUDDEN!!" Jinbe warns, "HEY!! GET OFF MY TAIL!!" as the defeated fighter crashes. A final panel shows Luffy in the corner box while narration reads "IF YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE BROAD STATEMENTS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S HISTORY..." The chapter ends with "CH. 1018 /END BREAK NEXT WEEK".
