It shows Luffy grinning while holding the side of a curtain, with the Jump Comics One Piece banner above him. The page is a volume title illustration rather than part of Chapter 563's story sequence.

It summarizes Luffy breaking out of Impel Down to rescue Ace and the Whitebeard Pirates arriving at Marine Headquarters, then notes that Ace's execution draws closer and Whitebeard is stabbed by one of his own men. A reader asks when Whitebeard will use the boomerang under his nose, and Oda jokes about using it to play fetch with his dog Stefan. Another asks whether Whitebeard's mustache has a banana in it or is a banana pocket; Oda jokes that opening a fastener in the back would make a banana come out and that the crew should fight over it. A reader asks whether Whitebeard is a logia, paramecia, or something else because Aokiji's attack did not freeze him. Oda answers that Whitebeard is a paramecia: the Gura Gura Fruit is the strongest paramecia, and if he were a logia earthquake man he would have to be an earthquake himself, so he is more accurately a shockwave man.
